The thing about being a non-american Simpsons fan is that as the show does all its reference humor it basically acts as a springboard and reason to consume/learn about the media it references, but the funny thing is that in doing so your brain recontextualizes a good chunk of American pop culture as a Simpsons reference.
Like, I was vaguely aware of 1961 horror film directed by Alfred Hitchcock "Psycho" but I didn't watch it until I read Skinner's wiki which mentions that he's an awful lot like Psycho antagonist with mommy issues Norman Bates, and therefore I watched 1961 horror film directed by Alfred Hitchcock "Psycho" to get a better understanding of his character (and in turn his relationship with Agnes), but now the film, to me, is 1961 film where Seymour Skinner's mommy issues are based on "Psycho".
Today I walked past a carnival shooting game branded with 1990 Mafia Movie "Goodfellas" (yes, I'm in that part of Europe) and all I could think was "Wowie, like the thing Louie Simpsons is based on!"
It's so funny.

The truth was I was tired way underneath my skin. I was tired where even I couldn't see. I do not know how that happened. How I ended up like that. It all happened so fast.

Bobby:…All those years that I prayed, that I begged on my hands and knees for God to make me more, give me more…make me better, make me stronger, make me saner, make all my dreams come true…I finally got an answer. Buck: What? Bobby:…You. Right there in one person. All I’d ever wanted to be or do. And there you are.

One of the best scenes of "The Divine Secrets of The Ya - Ya Sisterhood" the other one, obviously the reaction Ellen Burstyn's Vivi in the other side of the phone. It was epic. Did you know, that Angus Macfadyen, the actor who played Sidda's partner is also, a libra. ♎️👏📽❤️ Love this film, no matter what some people, said. Also, RIP the late Maggie Smith, who played my favourite caracther Caro, besides my other fave aka Shep who had been played by the late and great James Garner. 🙏 This film is a masterpiece, on their own. I love the book, too. (I think it's better than the other one, aka "The Divine Secrets Of The Ya - Ya Sisterhood - Little Altars" which was so forced, to me.)😉❤️🙏

All of us, so interwoven, so braided, growing up Ya-Ya in that backwater, third-tier state, where our families were the haut monde, their sins charming and mostly unnamed.

When Siddalee Walker, oldest daughter of Vivi Abbott Walker, Ya-Ya extraordinaire, is interviewed in the New York Times about a hit play she's directed, her mother gets described as a "tap-dancing child abuser." Enraged, Vivi disowns Sidda. Devastated, Sidda begs forgiveness, and postpones her upcoming wedding. All looks bleak until the Ya-Yas step in and convince Vivi to send Sidda a scrapbook of their girlhood mementos, called "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood." As Sidda struggles to analyze her mother, she comes face to face with the tangled beauty of imperfect love, and the fact that forgiveness, more than understanding, is often what the heart longs for.

This was no rinky-dink moon. This was a moon you had to curtsy to. A big, heavy, mysterious, beautiful, bossy moon. The kind you want to serve things to on a silver platter.
