Items can be used by Billy Hatcher through his adventure to both help him and defeat enemies. Some eggs contain minigames that can be accessed through the game link cable to a GameBoy Advance.

so...... april fools shuffle unit vs anyone?
welcome to the usual keep reading lore yapping section. will try to keep this fairly concise but i make no promises it did not stay concise. im sorry in advance
aoharu - park sekai vs theme: high school students in a band, but unlike leoni vs, their afterschool practices are outside of the school
miku - the "cool senpai", except shes not actually older than aoharu... in fact, shes younger than all of aoharu (if only barely younger than ichika)! shes a 1st year high schooler like ichisaki! but she is the mentor figure to them in her experience with music. - shes also not actually that "cool" once you get to know her, although shes pretty chill shes also got some rather silly interests. including collecting stickers to stick on her guitar case. - the main vocalist of the band, but shes got a bit of experience with most of the instruments that the others play. shes no expert but she knows how to play any of them. currently trying to improve her guitar skills! she brings it around with her a lot of the time for the impression it gives to others
len - alongside rin, they main guitar and keyboard. most of the time its len on guitar and rin on keyboard, but theyre both capable of filling both roles and swap occasionally. hes the one usually helping miku improve her guitar skills! unlike miku though, he doesnt carry his guitar around everywhere he goes. - playful but laidback. hell mess with his friends but hes not going around getting into trouble besides that, really - also a 1st year! in fact, the kagamines and miku are childhood friends :) theyve managed to stick together for a long time
yyj - backstage sekai vs theme: idols who have been kind of... abandoned by their management and have to take up those roles themselves
miku - cheerful, bubbly, what you'd typically expect from an idol... except shes also stressed out of her mind because yeah, the sekai isnt exactly... hospitable, to say the least. it doesnt always show and she can cool down from it, but when you live in a world of sprawling hallways and rooms that should have people in them but dont, it definitely has some Effects. - when shes not worrying about that shes quite dedicated to her practice, after all, an idol never stops! - her energy transfers into a bit of everything she does, really. fast talker, fast walker, she can be hard to keep up with if you arent ready for it.
luka - a more mature, gentle idol. she can put on plenty of energy when performing, but she takes things at an easier pace outside of practice. she enjoys her quiet free time. - a lot less tense than miku is about the whole sekai situation, not to say she doesnt feel the effects of it either. shes just better at hiding her feelings about it.
fts - alleyway sekai vs theme: street musicians, but in a darker, rougher direction than vbs
miku - is this a miku or a mikuo? no one really knows and theyre not telling. theyll answer to miku regardless. - very much a troublemaker, gets into fights a lot. can be tough to get along with because theyre pretty abrasive, but they also know their purpose as a sekai miku. getting help from them can just be frustrating sometimes - kaito has been trying to get them to cool down a bit, to mixed success
kaito - livehouse owner (i havent named his livehouse yet...), kind of a stern dad guy. cool, tough, serious, you get the idea. not a bad guy, but he will be hard on fts and the other vs when they need to be straightened out. - despite that, his livehouse is open to performers of all experience levels. just prove youre willing to give it your best shot and hell let you perform. this is a problem for fts, when theyre struggling to get things together as a unit.
hapisen - headquarters sekai vs theme: comic book/cartoon superheroes! they even live in a superhero tower!
miku - shes kinda your straightforward superhero prodigy type, extremely talented as a hero despite her young age. loud, energetic, but very kind and happy to help anyone in need. - by extension shes also got your very typical superhero powers. flight, super strength, etc. she doesnt use them that often around the base though, in fact, most of the vs dont use their powers in the base that often. better off saving them for when theyre out doing hero things!
rin - one half of a superhero pair, obviously. her powers do function on their own and shes capable of doing things without help, but shes a bit weak on her own. but when together with len, their powers amplify to something stronger than either of them separately. i think they probably have electricity powers. - shes a bit reckless in the field, but shes very enthusiastic about being a superhero! super high energy girl, always bouncing around the base getting ready for whenever shes needed next
kyushumi - woodland sekai vs theme: fae royalty, specifically with a butterfly style focus
miku - very quiet and reserved, shes a bit awkward during interactions with most people, but shes well meaning. no ones sure where she came from, even the other vs, and that might have something to do with how she acts - she will stare at you from the bushes and youll just have to get used to it. shes just curious about things, and she wants to observe kyushumi to figure out the best ways she can try to help them.
meiko - technically the fae queen? but she doesnt often act like it, she tries to be more approachable. shes still got a bit of an imposing aura, but shell act more warm and kind to those around her. she is secretive though, and despite her kindness, theres a bit of detachment from everyone. - mikus guardian, since no one really knows how miku got here, so someone has to keep an eye on her. she also considers herself kyushmis guardian, but since theyre not always within reach due to the disconnect between sekais and the real world, theres only so much she can do. she tries her best with what she can

Big storms are different on Jupiter. On Earth, huge hurricanes and colossal cyclones are centered on regions of low pressure, but on Jupiter, it is the high-pressure, anti-cyclone storms that are the largest. On Earth, large storms can last weeks, but on Jupiter they can last years.
On Earth, large storms can be as large as a country, but on Jupiter, large storms can be as large as planet Earth. Both types of storms are known to exhibit lightning.
The featured image of Jupiter's clouds was composed from images and data captured by the robotic Juno spacecraft as it swooped close to the massive planet in August 2020. A swirling white oval is visible nearby, while numerous smaller cloud swirls extend into the distance.
On Jupiter, light-colored clouds are usually higher up than dark clouds. Despite their differences, studying storm clouds on distant Jupiter provides insights into storms and other weather patterns on familiar Earth.

Max Playing With Giant Mushrooms
Here is a little collection of shots of Max playing with giant mushrooms in the jungles of Route 119. While exploring the jungles of Route 119, Max came across a batch of huge mushrooms, both flattops and cap mushrooms. The cap mushrooms are brownish purple and Max got underneath one, and the huge floppy cap perfectly hid Max underneath. Max was surprised by how squishy the mushroom’s cap felt. It almost reminded him of a waterbed and a milk cap mushroom. In no time, Max begins playing with the mushroom, hiding underneath it, pressing against the cap and having the cap hang from his head like some sort of hood of a jacket. Max was really enjoying himself.
As for why I came up with giant mushrooms, I thought about how the jungles of Route 119 are untouched, it got me thinking about what else could be in those jungles besides wild Pokemon. Also, I was inspired to make these giant mushrooms after watching “Return to Neverland”, specifically the part where the skunk lost boy briefly emerged from under a giant mushroom during the search for Jane.

Mauler (Pathfinder Second Edition Archetype)
Tumblr media
(art by AnatoFinnstark on DeviantArt)
Sometimes an archetype is an expression of a thematic idea, and sometimes it’s simply a specialization in a particular field. Today’s subject is the latter.
There is just something to love about really big weapons. Perhaps it’s the might required to wield them, or the potential for destruction that they have. Leverage and momentum demonstrate that you don’t have to swing repeatedly or precisely to deal a lot of damage.
And so, if you’re playing a martial character with an interest in wielding big two-handed weapons, be they mighty maul, greatsword, or any variety of polearm, the mauler archetype may scratch your itch, offering a few mainstays from the fighter plus a handful other feats specialized in bringing out the most in your large, imposing weapons.
This archetype is useful as it offers a way to specialize in bigger weapons with some of the fighter-specific mechanics like flourishes and presses without having to cross-class into fighter, plus having tricks unique to the archetype. This means that any sufficiently martial class or character can make use of it as long as they meet the strength prerequisite, be they barbarians, champions, fighters, rangers, or even odd picks like an inexorable iron magus. If you plan to wield a weapon that can only really be effectively used with two hands, this archetype can certainly provide.
The base dedication of this archetype grants greater skill with two-handed weapon if the warrior didn’t already have it.
With a mighty blow, many learn to knock their foes off their feet with an upending strike. A later feat makes it more certain that foes take a bad fall from the strike, and improve the damage caused.
For the cost of accuracy, many also learn the fighter trick of dealing devastating blows at the cost of unbalancing themselves.
Even when not using the deadly edge, the weight of their weapons allows them to shove aside foes and move forward.
That pushing also can knock foes off course if they try to move through the mauler’s reach.
Not even the protection of armor can fully save foes from these mighty warriors, and with the final blow of a combo, they can deal massive damage, or a reduced amount if the armor holds, crumpling it under the weight of the blow.
With a mighty blow directed to the ground, these warriors can shake the earth and potentially knock multiple foes off their feet.
They can also learn to shove or knock over foes with a mighty, inexorable sweep as well.
Finally, they can instead unleash powerful sweeping blows or a hammering faster ones to pound every foe within reach under a hail of strikes.
If you want to focus on tripping and dealing heavy damage with a two-handed weapon, this archetype might be for you. It is a bit trickier to use with the magus due to their spellcasting taking up a sizable, conflicting chunk of their action economy, but with the right buffing magic beforehand you can potentially make this relentless destroyer even mightier. So yeah, do some digging and see what sort of martial classes will work best with this archetype, even if you only take a handful of tricks from it.
There really is no lore associated with this archetype, so you can come up with any reason why such characters might specialize in such heavy weapons. Perhaps their strength made them suited for training as line-breakers, or maybe they took polearm training very seriously, or maybe they aren’t military at all and just really, really like big weapons.
In the land of Be’Sha, humans and wood giants live alongside each other in harmony, tending herds of hadrosaurs in a pastoral existence. That isn’t to say that it is entirely peaceful, for even these shepherds must tend to their flocks, and they tend to protect their charges with massive weapons, polearms for humans, stouter, heavier weapons for the giants.
Many legends speak of masterful tengu swordsmasters possessing unparalleled skill with a blade, and such is the case with Kurumo, champion of the mountain god and master of using an odachi katana without assistance. He travels the mountain roads, driving off bandits and tending to the needs of mortal and kami alike.
While plying the ruins of an ancient city, the party comes across a mural of a past champion of an arena that once stood in the reason, a figure wielding a mighty maul. All of this would be impressive and interesting already, but said figure also is depicted with the same strange sigil marked on their wrist as one of the party members.
