You want me to count your ribs one by one until you’re laughing so hard you make me lose count. Then you want me to make you count them!”

The ghost feeling his words spread over you tickled nearly as bad as the real deal, making you giggle in your hands as you tried to hide your face. His grip was gentle as he pulled them down, green eyes sparkling with love. “J-Johohospeh!”

“Just say the word, love. Say it and I’ll give you what you want.” He winked, flicking his fingers in the air between him and your torso. It was enough to nearly send you over the edge!

One of my favorite pieces of writing discourse was that brief period where people were writing all sorts of posts about Poorly Written Bilingual Characters but none of them could articulate WHY they felt those characters weren’t well written so they’d be like “bilingual people NEVER do [thing bilingual ppl who aren’t OP do all the time bc bilingualism comes in many shapes and experiences].” you just think a person with that character’s background wouldn’t for complex cultural reasons that would be difficult to sum up as a list of rules :P
