i hate that "let people have fun" has become such a goddamn dogwhistle word to me in fandom spaces that i have to be suspicious about people who say it. like yeah you're not wrong but half the people i've seen who use it are really weird about child characters or siblings or some shit of a similar caliber and it's like. huh. so that's why you're saying that

I just got paid to write a review of Trigun in 2023. And if I went back to 2001/2002 and told fifteen year old me about this she wouldn't stop smiling for a whole month.

#I gave it a 4/5 #Over all I liked it a lot #They managed to adapt lots of previously lost parts of the manga for a 2023 audience and that's great #But the animation styles isn't my favorite and the update and face-lift deminsied a few things that made 1998 Trigun special and unique #But as a show it's bringing brand new viewers to the original series #They're watching Stampede and loving it and going back for the original #That's huge #That's awesome!#Plus once a week for half an hour it reverted me into my feral fifteen year old self #It wasn't perfect and it took a few episodes for me to get into it #But I ended up liking Stampede a lot
