Classical Fate chapter 1

The full glowing white moons pierce through the sky blending in with the lights over the bright city that decorated itself with bright blinding  lights. The noise of the constant honking drove a certain polish to the brink of insanity . "Fuck I'm up ! " he cussed out, shaking his head  . The Auburn reddish orange tinge covered his eyes  as he shook them . The one and only Chopin checks his phone realizing it's now  3am. "It's time .." Chopin stretched his arms and legs getting ready to start his night.  He took a two hour sleep just to see up for this specific event . Chopin walked over to his book shelf where his collection is. The collection is filled with both manga and video games in a neat alphabetical order . After about 10 seconds he grabbed a small game titled "cyber station 3 " . Chopin smirked, putting it right back . He then opened the window at the hotel . Chopin stared at the small number of  cars down the street. He was so high up in the hotel they all looked like dots painted in bright lights . Despite that there weren't many people around at this time of night .Chopin always preferred the moon over the sun . Night time was his only escape , a place where he can sleep into the land of dreams or better yet play video games . Dovo the hippo nudged against his knee . "I'll be back later " Chopin petted his pet hippo, the   pachyderm blew a nose full of steam .  Without a  single word Chopin opened the window taking a swan dive out . He started singing peacefully in  his native language .

Suddenly a bright pink aura wrapped around Chopin's body very tightly until a vivid burst of energy shot up at the sky . Just before Chopin hit the ground he reached his arm out shooting thin ropes of metallic piano wire out of his fingers effortlessly saving him from falling to his death. Chopin now had a bright silver platinum suit with a massive cape and butterfly mask.  He spun of 360 degree angle swinging around the buildings like he was Spiderman polish cousin ,

Chopin threw himself thousands of feet in the air, his yellow eye  reflecting on the moon . His hand reached out at the moon and  stars before plummeting down . Air filled his lungs as Chopin breathed in and out . Pink threads that came out of no wear covered him bouncing him back up gracefully landing on a random building am running from one building on top of another pulling his phone out.  An arrow pointed towards a nearby gaming store . Chopin raises his hands blowing a handful of butterflies that flew around the store squeezing through tight crevices.  A pink one landed on a camera turning it off . Another butterfly touched on the locked door, opening it with ease . Chopin walked in, snapping his fingers to close the door back . He searched inside the store levitating various games and manga. He flicked open a small glowing ball to help him see .  "Ah there it is …" Chopin grabbed a few games but not too many because he didn't want to go bankrupt .

"COD Warzone , Assassin Creed , Far Cry , Mortal Kombat , Guardian Galaxy 5 , space racers …" Chopin picked 10 more up until a giant net overtook him causing him to fall down . "Ah ha !" A young lady climbed down out of nowhere. She wore a bear theme's outfit from head to toe from ear fake bear ears all the way down to the brown tennis shoes  . "Go away you annoying wannabe vigilant" Chopin got up only for the women to pull him . "I have been searching for you all night, " she said . "More like weeks…we have been fighting for weeks Grizzly…  " Chopin growled . "And I finally caught you butterfly man …" she snickered.  "Hmm butterfly  with a butterfly net …very funny " Chopin smirked.  The pink ball from before turned brighter, temporarily blinding Grizzly long enough for Chopin to destroy the net . "How did you …" before Grizzly had time to react Chopin wrapped her with a long piano like thread tearing apart parts of her clothing.

Each thread wrapped carefully around Grizzly arms and  legs forcing up . The sudden shift of force accidentally revealed her panties.  Chopin stood there in complete shock . A drop stream of blood from his nostrils spilled out. "Stop Don't look ! '' Randgriz turned around.  ." Shit ..." Chopin's nose bled more  " I didn't mean to do that ..." .  The wire swaddled  through her legs then brightly transformed into pants , "by the way I was not attracted to…that what's so ever " Chopin turned his head around . Once Chopin no longer deemed Grizzly a threat he released her . Chopin walked past Randgriz giving her a stern warning "Stop following me …or else " . "Or else what?  '' Grizzly furrowed a brow.  "I'm just warning you that this area is pretty dangerous at night and the next villain you may try and face won't be this  merciful " the polish man threw a metal butterfly on the ground sliding it to her . 

They stared at each other rather intensely , Chopin walked away and they both went on separately . A month had passed since that event with Chopin staying low for now . Summer has now ended much to his dismay as he now has to spend his year at university.  Specifically a college called  Classical university . A prestigious private university where only the most gifted go , though it's mostly about music it still has other classes just like any other colleges . "Hey Chopin ! " Frédéric  felt a tight squeeze from one of his friends.  A blonde tall  man with bright orange eyes that lifted him up , Franz Liszt one of the most  popular musicians of this University.  He is more known for his good looks than actual talent, not that it stopped him . Chopin considered him the closest he has ever had to a brother.  "Liszt ! ..how was your trip to Hungary …" Chopin coughed out " You're choking me …". 

"My vacation was great, thank you very much. I had more fangirls than I'll  ever know what to do with .."  Liszt replied.  "I expect nothing else from a pretty boy like you " A man with a German accent spoke out . The guy was 6ft tall wearing a leather vest along with a few scars on his arm.  He wore a bandage on the bridge of his nose and had white wild unkempt hair and light  blue eyes . "Ah …Ludwig still a dick as always " A man in a well dressed uniform and a backwards cap chucked.  "Whatever four eyes, do you have a lighter    ? "  Ludwig bit into a huge cuban cigar, giving one to Liszt .  "Why yes, what kinda smoker leaves home without one ? " Schubert grabbed his lighter, giving himself a cigarette.  "Would you like one ? "Schubert handed Chopin a cigarette , "No I have lung issues "  the polish declined. 

"You know buddy I don't understand, doesn't your musik help with stuff  like that ? Liszt blew smoke . "If It did Beethoven wouldn't need to rely on hearing aids " Chopin mentioned.  "I mean it's not my fault pops busted my eardrums as a child " Beethoven shrugged. "Wassup fam " a young man with short white hair and red eyes  named Mozart roller skated  along smoking a vape.  "It's nice seeing you all once again after two months " Mozart smiled " " Ludwig started walking with them . "How was everyone else's summer ? " he asked .

Chopin- played nothing but video games or constantly got sick in bed. I also visited my family in Poland for at least a month .

Liszt - going on tour meetings the ladies but that got boring so I became a monk 

Mozart- went on luxurious vacation with my rich family 

Schubert- stayed at the dorms to continue studying , met up with my other friend group , got arrested 6 times then chain smoked weed for 3 days straight. 

Mozart - 6 times !?

Schubert- yes 

Chopin  - are you going to explain why? 

Schubert- that one specific cop that hates me …but the charges are all dropped 

Beethoven- I spent time trying to rebuild my life by spending time with my beloved Karl 

Chopin- sounds like you all had a great time !

It wasn't long before they got into their "all day " classes , a special program that lets them stay in the class together.

 "Ludwig  what did I tell you about smoking in class ! " Bach yelled at him "and is that wine you're drinking ? Have you no shame! " . "Ludwig put the Cigar away quickly! " Chopin warned him . "No that what wimps do " Beethoven pulled out another cigar "here you go principle  Bach " . "Exactly! " Bach snatched the cigar, lighting it up.  "Also you know alcohol isn't allowed so I'm confiscating 2 out of the 4 bottles of wine " Bach started drinking Beethoven wine in front of him " What would Joseph Haydn say about this ? He would be disappointed in all of you right now " Bach proceeded to take 6 out of 7 of Mozart vales putting it all in his sack . 

"I'm already a disappointment to him "Beethoven sighed . "Can I have my vapes   back …" Mozart asked.  "No you are  too young to vape " Bach stated . "I'm a grown ass man..…" Mozart replied " I'm even older than Beethoven…" . Bach stared at Mozart's youthful bishounen appearance along with his small height. "Do you have proof ? " Bach started interrogating him.  Mozart showed him his driving license.  "Yeah that could easily be faked " Bach walked away as the bell started ringing . Mozart proceeded to chase the principle screaming " Give me my vapes back  you fucking ass donkey shit stick ! " . Without warning Mozart blasted giant rhinos running Bach over while Classical music played 

"Sorry I'm late everyone I had to deal with Mozart and Bach  '' Professor Haydn walked into class . Chopin laid his cheek on the table barely listening to anything instead he pulled out his phone and started playing video games like he normally does . "Today we have some new students in our university..a group of sisters that recently changed schools so please treat them like you would treat your other peers " Haydn opened the door.   The first sister to step in was a tall one with blackish blue hair and green eyes . She wore the classical school uniform dress code along with a given bag on her arm. Her hairpin was shaped like a golden wing instead of a smile,She had a stern look of seriousness. "My name is Brunhilde…but you can call me Brun for short " Brunhilde wrote her name on the board.  "Brunhilde…." Liszt opened his eyes and a wave of intense emotions struck him . He could feel his heart beating at a fast pace . 

"You can sit anywhere you like " Haydn pointed at the row of seats , "Hmm your class is much smaller then what I expected " Brunhilde commented waking up the stairs and sitting in front of Liszt . The man's eyes turned heart shaped as he stared at her, " Oh please Get a grip Simp " Chopin texted him . Liszt replied back with a middle finger directed at Chopin's face . "My name is Geir  came to this University to study and nothing more " a woman with a ponytail walked up the stairs sitting next to Schubert who was the only guy away from his friends. He turned another page, not giving her much attention at all .

A loud sound caught everyone's attention,  a very tall student with dark purple messy hair . A bang over her right eye showing only exposing the yellow eye . "My name is Hrist,  " she said in a deep growl . Chopin noticed that she wasn't even wearing a school uniform, only a white bandage over her large  chest with a few scars on her abbed  stomach, lastly a leather jacket and pants.  Chopin realized Ludwig was staring at her for a few minutes but didn't comment . Hrist took her seat and slammed her feet onto the desk .

 Chopin rested his head on the table no longer caring anymore.  An unknown amount of  time later he felt a tap on his shoulder. "Hello, is this seat taken?  " a woman questioned.  "Why does she sound so familiar.." Chopin wondered, opening his eye up . There he saw a student with the same hair color as him only with emerald  green eyes . For some reason she wore male dress code clothes but despite that Chopin was struck with familiarity "Why ..does she look so familiar…" Chopin thought to himself until he saw a purple butterfly hairpin . The same one he threw at "Grizzly " just a month ago . Chopin's mentality shook his head,  "Probably just a coincidence..there is no damn way that's her ".  Ever since that day Chopin couldn't stop thinking about her  due to curiosity.  "My name is Randgriz.." She sat down next to him . "I'm Federic…" Chopin introduced himself "Where did you get that hairpin from ? "."Oh this ? " Randgriz touched it " I'm a gardener that loves sunflowers. One day I saw a butterfly land on a sunflower and it gave me inspiration to make it,  " Randgriz explained . "Oh.." Chopin sighed in relief "Okay…"

Summary: (Y/n) and Divine gets a invite to a club "the sangtuary"

Warning: Drinking, drugs, Jeffrey flirting with Divine, (y/n) being a bitch (but that's only she's very protective and has a hate for vamps)

Being a vampire Hunter is not an easy job. Sarah Michelle Gellar made it look so easy in her Buffy the Vampire Slayer series but this is reality and It fucking blows. Tonight was one of the hardest jobs I had to do. There was this vampire who can disappear like Smoke from Mortal Kombat. Luckily I've attached holy water grenade to him and finally disappeared, good riddance.  Hopefully Liz can make me a Jack Coke after a long hard night. 

"Hey there missy" Iris stopped me and I turned around greeting her with a smile.

"Hey Iris, I would hug you but as you can see I'm full of vampire dirt" I pointed.

"I understand, Divine wanted me to tell you to meet her and the countess in her room. I guess there's something important they would like to discuss with you" Iris explained. I rolled my eyes. "Can it just wait" I groaned. Iris shook her head. I nodded in response. I guess that Jack Coke will have to wait. I enter the elevator pressing the button to go up to her flat. I wonder what's so important they wanted to talk to me about. Maybe Mother wanted me and Divine to hunt another vampire, a warlock, or a witch I don't know but I just hope it's nothing bad.

The doors slide open as I exited out of the elevator and walking inside mother's nice room with Divine sitting on one of the couches and mother on her couch.

"Hello ladies" I greeted and Divine looked at me with wide cat eyes. "Oh my God, what happened to you" she gasped. My mother Elizabeth had the same look like Divine had but she was desperately holding her laughter.

"Transmutation Vampire that's what happened Dee Dee. And don't say you should have taken me with you because I learned that the hard way" I said to her after dropping the bag next to the couch and plopped down next to Divine. 

"So what's up, Mom" the countess took a deep breath and taking a sip of her bloody Martini. "Have you girls ever heard of the new club that just opened" she asked.

"The Sangtuary? `` she nodded. The Sangtuary is this night club that opened a week ago by some Brothers. " What about it" asked Divine.

" Because that's where you two are going. You both have been invited to their club". She pulls out the black velvet envelopes passing it to us and stands up walking to her room and brings out two beautiful dresses that were mine and my sister's taste but I wasn't liking this idea and I don't usually wear dresses that much. Actually not at all since my prom night. One was a black low shoulder with a choker and the other was a black lacy short dress. 

"Do I really have a choice because honestly I really don't feel like going out tonight except take a nice shower and watch episodes of the golden girls" I said to mom but she was still handing me the dress for me to pick. I rolled my eyes and took the one with the choker as she smiles at me and hands Divine the lacy dress. Before I leave mother said " Please take a shower before you go anywhere" and gave her a glare before storming out. Fuck my life.

I hate it. I hate it and one more time, I hate it. Why I say I hate well I hate the fact that our mom is sending Divine and I to some club that we don't know about, I hate that this dress that's very short and God damnit I hate this day. Divine was waiting for me in the lobby having her makeup and hair done with golden flower crown she wears with almost everything. Mines was simple eyeliner, mascara and dark red lipstick with my hair half up with curls. Plus thigh high boots I'm wearing. Divine looks like an angel lighting everybody's day and night. She takes one good look at me and says " You look tense. Loosen up. You need to have fun, we all need to have fun. When was the last time we ever went out?"

Honestly, the last time we ever went out when we were in our teens and when we grow into adulthood we never had fun except killing evil. But I know Divine hates just killing. As I was about to speak I heard a familiar cheerful voice. 

"Ahh, well you lovely ladies look very ravishing. Where are you two heading" Mr.March asked. 

"To the new club that opened up, The Sangtuary, we were invited by the owners" replied Divine. Mr.March nodded. "Well don't let me stop you from having fun, go on girls go raise hell" he piped up as Divine and I said our goodnites to Mr.March and headed out going to "raise hell".

Parking was a pain in the ass to find, luckily there was parking near abandoned warehouse. The line was packed. People groaning and complaining about standing in a line. Mother said to give the invite to the bouncer and will let us in. Why would the owners invite my sister and I?  The bouncer let us through as he took our invitation and told us to enjoy our night. When we got in, everything was red. The lights, the sofas, the dance floor too. The ladies sway their hips to the beat as the men grind their hips to their partner. Some were drinking, some were even doing coke or smoking weed. My prayers have been answered as I spotted a bar straight ahead pulling Divine along with me. I don't want her by herself, she may know how to fight but she has a heart of gold and has never been touched by any man. I like to keep it that way. The bartender was a bleached blonde and pale complexion wearing a purple Victorian suit.

" Hello ladies, I'm Mr Gallant and I'll be your bartender. What can I get ya"he said in his feminine voice. Great he's gay now I don't have to worry. " Yeah, I'll have a Jack Coke and a Gallagher please" I ordered and he went to go make our drinks. "This looks fun" Divine hollered over the beat.

"Don't lose your cool, sis. " I said and she rolled her eyes. " Come on, let's have fun for once " she left to the dance floor dancing to the music before I could stop her. Divine is Divine, but she's also pure of gold, never touched by men. And I would love to keep it that way. The bartender taps me on the shoulder passing our drinks. 

"On the house baby" he said with a smile. I gave him a confused look.

"From who?"

"The owners of this place" he points as I turned my head to see 2 blonde men standing from the balcony. One dressed in velvet and long hair and the other dressed in black and short hair. They both look similar. "Who are they, Mr Gallant?" 

"The Langdon twins, Michael and Jeffrey. They are super hot as hell which is why you two are the lucky ones because darling no one in this club never gotten a drink on the house." Are those the owners that invited us? But why would they? I turned to look back at the balcony to see the boys gone. I was about to ask where they were until Gallant had this smirk on his face staring where my sister was…but she wasn't alone at all. The short blonde haired man that was standing from the balcony was dancing with my sister having his arms around her and Divine swaying her hips to the beat. And what really triggered me most was he was grinding on Divine. Okay this fucker is dead.

Divine's P.O.V

"What's your name little tulip" the blonde man asked.

"Divine. Divine (l/n)" he spins me around as I looked into his ocean blue eyes.

" Jeffrey Langdon and you my dear look so Divine. Care to join me for a drink" he asked but before I could answer my sister comes to shove Jeffrey.

"She's not interested, ass" she hissed. I rolled my eyes at this nonsense. (Y/n) needs to realize I'm not a little girl. I'm a fucking full grown woman for fucks sake. I stood in front of her.

"He wasn't doing anything wrong" I protested

"Yet" she said. Before she could kill him on the dance floor a tall man same as Jeffery's height but...this man looked so much like Jeffrey except he had long blonde hair, red eye shadow and a red velvet jacket. I assume this is Jeffery's twin brother.

" Why don't we take this private shall we" he says into my sister's ear and made a disgusted face pushing him off . (Y/n) was about to say something snarky.

"He meant somewhere quiet. You know like backstage." Her only response was a grunt and the two Langdon gentleman lead us upstairs as we entered the elevator. Michael pressed a button that had the initials PH, which stands for penthouse.

The elevator doors open to reveal a living room with a piano along a mini bar with a shelf of many alcoholic drinks. I was in awe to see a balcony that hid behind white sheer curtains. They even have a row of bookshelves, an upstairs that lead to a bedroom and another bedroom thats downstairs. I've never been so amazed by this place. But my sister on the other hand looked like she wanted to murder the brothers. But why would she want to murder them? For being generous or because Jeffrey was being a flirt?

"Please, make yourselves comfortable while I make you flowers a drink" Michael threw his red velvet dinner jacket on the leather couch and making his way to the mini bar making our drinks as we took a seat. 

"Remember what I said" (y/n) said in a Stern voice. "Keep your guard up and if anything happens, stake them" she puts the silver stake inside my purse. God I wish she would chill just for tonight. 

My mind was soon cut off by Jeffery playing the piano. The tune sounds so familiar. I couldn't put my finger on it. 

" Sweet dreams, if you were guessing, tulip" Jeffery said.

"It's one of my favorite piano versions. I used to play the violin when I was 12 and oh I've almost forgotten that (y/n) used to play the piano and a beautiful singer- Ow" my sister pinched my arm, like she didn't want me to give that information.

"Ah, a brave girl who hides special talents. I'm impressed." Michael gives us our drinks. It's a red liquid. It smells so good that I took a sip of it along with (y/n).  The taste is Rich, sweet and a little metallic. 

"It's blood" my sister says with daggers in her eyes looking at Michael.

"In the end, we're alone. And there is nothing but the cold, dark wasteland of eternity" Michael finished his quote and showing off his porcelain pear fangs.

Houes of Blues Ninja Sex Party Concert Recap

Okay now that I’ve had a bit of rest, I’m going to talk about my experience at the concert. Again I super wish that I was able to take pictures but my phone died and wouldn’t charge for some dumb reason. I am going to reblog the hell out of other people’s pics and videos though and I did buy a poster (that ripped a bit in my purse, but the signatures are still intact) and a TWRP shirt. Everything else is under readmore in case I spoiled something (also probably not in order, I typed some of this as a draft last night):

MC Chris- good replacement for StarBomb. He was actually pretty good rapper, although his voice I thought was an effect at first. No his voice is really that high pitched. I recognized his Candy song because I used to watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force at one point and heard that song, liked it. I also liked that he was a pretty funny and good hype man too, he did do some good nerdy raps. He’s not someone I’d listen to for a long while, but he’s pretty good for the show itself.

TWRP - SO good live and Dr.Sung is fit as fuck holy shit. The gag of them just skipping numbers in the set was pretty funny and I didn’t expect their songs to sound so great live, with them having a lot of synths. But Commander Meowuch and Lord Phobos really can shred on their respective instruments and Havve Hogan’s eyes and drumming were so cool. Like I said Dr. Sung was fit as hell, he was twirling nunchucks and kicking and he looks like he really works out, I was able to see his bubble butt :3 Atomic Karate was my fave because I didn’t know how they would do Arin’s part of the song, but they nailed it and their whole performance.

Danny is as cute and handsome in person as he is on YouTube videos. Like holy hell, seeing him in the flesh and being close enough to the stage to see him smiling and so full of energy and having a great time (and his cute/sexy little hip shakes that kind make me weak at the knees) was so wonderful. He’s really gotten into doing rock-out performances and his singing was incredible as always.

Brian was awesome and super hilarious. He did little dances in some of the songs and he even had his own little moment of performance on stage (which I’ll discuss later). Flipping the bird at him never felt so awesome, and he even got the audience to do a ROCK FUCK chant with half the room saying ROCK and the other saying FUCK (I was in the ROCK half).

Concerto in P Minor was amazing. This was Brian’s little solo performance (along with TWRP for back up) and it sounded so beautiful and very opera. I recognize it from one of the 30-second Seductions, I’m impressed it was made into a whole orchestrated song with Brian playing classical piano. Then it led into him and TWRP playing the Mortal Kombat theme which was so awesome and pumped the room even more, during which Brian cut his hand while playing and it bled out onto the keyboard, we thought it was pretty metal and he threw up devil horns.

New animation video was pretty cool, I remember gorilla-prutt’s art for it on the NSP tag earlier. It was pretty funny and it was about when they first met. Not going to spoil too much because I don’t think it was supposed to be recorded, but here’s a hint: Danny tells his version of the story (involving aliens) and then Brian “tells” his version. You figure which one is more truthful.

New music video shown was pretty great, but may not be for everyone. I don’t want to say what song it’s for because the audience took the NSP pledge (namely that if someone is recording something that they shouldn’t, don’t punch them in the nuts just graze them, which lead to audience chanting GRAZE THE NUTS) and it’s supposed to be a secret.

Played You Spin Me Round from the new cover album, Danny certainly sounded much better than Pete Burns. Also TWRP’s rendition of the song makes it sound so awesome on stage, lots of rock guitar really helps that song.

Played Danny Don’t You Know, it was so beautiful that Danny and Brian made that song. So glad that Danny is where he is now that he’s happier about life in general and made that song.

Played slow and somber Dinosaur Laser Fight with just Danny and Brian on stage, so poetic and lots of cell phone lights swaying in the crowd. Felt like it was so magical just hearing that song in a whole new light.

Hilariously a lot of the stuff NSP played were a whole bunch of new material, the only songs they played off of their older albums was Dinosaur Lazer Fight (played slowly), NSP theme song (their intro), and Unicorn Wizard (which again with TWRP helping with the instrumentation sounded incredible)

Lots of fucking with Danny moments, courtesy of Brian. Before they played Unicorn Wizard, Brian did the bloopy reggae jam bit and Danny just look (fake) peeved. It escalated further with TWRP joining in and they actually made a little song out of the bloopy reggae jams about buttsex and buttstuff, that was pretty hilarious.

Lots of bras being thrown(definitely not as many as Orlando but quite a few), along with pants and a hat. One of the bras did hit Danny on the face and almost hit Dr. Sung when Danny’s back was turned. Strangely I actually found the bra throwing him hilarious when seen in person, but yeah it is still pretty bad to do that when they told the crowd to stop and it kept happening. Hopefully this was the last show that this happens.

Brian wearing someone’s jorts that got thrown on stage. This needed its own section because I didn’t expect Brian to fit the jorts and he stuffed all of the bras in it on stage. Then when The No-Pants Dance was playing, he did like a strip-show kind of thing where he pulled out the bras one by one and then the jorts themselves, I died laughing.

So much love for Dan and Brian in equal measure. I find this important because lots of people were cheering for Danny, but also a lot of the people were hyped for Brian and chanted his name and love for him. Also Avi got some cheers too when Danny mentioned him, Avi asks about the number of bras they get in each show haha.

The loving speech thing Danny did was really sweet, the one where he talks about shit going bad in the world and how we need to love and forgive everyone and ourselves. A little idyllic for my tastes, but it feels kind of warranted, there is too much hate going on in the world right now and we need more positivity. Danny is just such a sweet guy and him wanting to spread a positive message on the tour is so admirable.

Being near the speakers was so worth it just to be able to see the stage. At times I had to cover my ears but the music still was pretty amazing and the crowd was very energetic. Next time I’m buying earplugs though if I ever stand that close again.

They ended the concert with playing The Hit and again, it truly shows how well NSP and TWRP mix together, and hearing it again live made it so much better :D

TL; dr: 50/10 Such a magical and amazing night, and if they ever have a concert near me again I’m definitely going, with a camera this time.

This is something that's been on my mind for a long time. Long ramble under the cut

TL;DR: Grazer-razor has some of the worst black and white mentality I've ever seen and I can tell he has never critically examined his biases a day in his life.

Because I'm a terrible little gremlin who can't leave well enough alone, I've been reading these posts

Ignoring the absolute stupidity of these statements (I'm pretty sure the lack of rainbow logos is because in many middle eastern countries, homosexuality is a crime and these companies just want to make money. But I'mnot going into the nuances and implications of rainbow capitalism today.), something stood out to me.

Does Grazer... genuinely think nobody has ever criticized the Muslim faith? That we all ignore the homophobia present within the religion just because they're a minority? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen even some of the most staunch leftists criticize things like their horrible treatment of homosexuality or the rampant sexism often sanctioned by radicals. Even other Muslims, especially women and lgbt+ Muslims, have been critical of these things.

It wouldn't shock me if Grazer believedthat anyone who supports Muslims believes they can do no wrong. After all, he thinks any criticism of Christianity is hatred, and dismisses any harmful things Christians do as not being "real" Christianity in a classic case of the "No True Scotsman" fallacy.

Note how he didn't even respond to the first asks comments, just accused them of being me (because obviously any time someone sees his blog it's all my fault /s)

So it seems like in Grazer's mind, there are only two options when it comes to religion: Uncritically praise and defend everything a religion does no matter how heinous it is and justify it because it's done in a God's name, or condemn anyone who practices it as hateful terrorists. Because he doesn't see people doing the former for Christians, he automatically assumes that they're doing the latter, and vice versa for Muslims.

Also note how he gets mad when muslim faith is "respected" (again, homosexuality is criminalized in many of these areas) but then demands a secular children's show cater to his religion for the sake of his precious childhood.

(Also, can we just talk about the absolute fucking cruelty in this answer? There are people out there that had their childhoods ruined by abuse, illness, losing loved ones, homelessness, poverty, bullying, near-death experiences, having their countries torn apart by war, a shitty foster care system, teen pregnancies, and so many other things that can absolutely destroy a life.  Grazer's was ruined by…  *checks notes* a cartoon character supporting gay rights and a drag queen singing a cutesy children's song.  So yeah, if that's the worst part of his childhood he's pretty damn lucky, and the fact that he has the gall to still complain absolutely makes him selfish and ignorant. It's disrespectful, plain and simple, and if he were truly a good Christian he'd have some compassion.)

Okay, so Grazer has some weird "rules for me but not for thee" shit when it comes to religion. This isn't news. Where am I going with this?

Well, turns out he has this opinion about more than just religion. Know how I know this? His response to ESRB ratings and trigger warnings.

So it seems like Grazer sees the ESRB as some sort of moral compass, in a way. Something being rated E or E10 means it's pure and good and wholly unproblematic, while anything higher means it's evil and disgusting and he can't even look at it.

This is further confirmed by this post, where he flat-out states he sees the ESRB as deeming what things are and are not morally acceptable.

Now Grazer, I'm gonna explain this as best as I can, because it seems like you don't quite understand this. Read very carefully.

I repeat, this is NOT the purpose of the ESRB rating system.

The ESRB does not decide on what is and is not morally correct. It simply says "This game contains these topics, and as such is most suitable for people in this age group.". That's it. It's a guideline, not a rule.

Let's take cartoon violence, for instance. It's a very common warning the ESRB puts on games. Almost every game from Mario to Sonic to Crash Bandicoot and even Monster Tale has this warning. These games are all rated E for everyone. Does this mean those games are promoting violence to children, or claiming things like Bowser kidnapping Peach or Pinstripe trying to gun down Crash are perfectly okay and morally correct? Of course not. It's simply saying that these games contain mild, non-graphic violence, but most children should be able to handle seeing it.

On the other side of the coin, let's take a look at the warnings for nudity and sexual themes. Most games that contain these topics are rated T at the lowest and AO at the highest. This obviously isn't saying that nudity and sex are inherently bad or evil. All it's saying is that these topics are best handled by adults (And, regardless of morality, it is illegal to distribute sexual content to minors unless it's meant to be educational, like a health class textbook).

A few extra points:

. Games can be rated different things in different countries. Different countries have different regulations. Do you know why the blood in Danganronpa is pink? It's because in Japan, games with excessive amounts of blood and gore are given a Z rating (Japan's equivalent to an AO rating). They got around this by making the blood pink, securing the game its desired M rating. Meanwhile here in America, Mortal Kombat is allowed to show as many graphic, brutal deaths as it wants and still receive an M rating.

. ESRB ratings are not legally enforceable. I was so convinced as a 16 year old that the employees at gamestop would try to card me or something when I was picking up a copy of Bayonetta, and I was surprised when they simply rang me up in two seconds, no questions asked. It doesn't happen. For fuck's sake, one of the first games I ever played, at the tender age of four, was Soul Edge. A T rated game. The only instance ESRB ratings are legally enforced is in the case of AO ratings, as these games often contain incredibly graphic violenceor sexual content. If this outrage is coming from the idea that certain ratings will keep younger people from playing these games from a legal standpoint, don't worry. A nine year old is not gonna get arrested for playing Among Us. Just don't buy them GTA San Andreas or Leisure Suit Larry and everything will be fine.

. No two consumers are exactly alike. While one 13 year old may be perfectly fine with the jumpscares in Amnesia, another may be too scared to even go near the piano in Super Mario 64. That doesn't mean either of these games is rated incorrectly. The ESRB is there, once again, as a recommendation for the average consumer, and doesn't take individual experience into account. An individual experience is not their responsibility. It's also on parents (or you yourself!) To decide what the consumer can or can't handle.

"But Haley," I hear you say, "What if this piece of media DOES contain something morally bad?"

Well it's simple. You are allowed to like things AND still criticize the bad parts of it.

Hold on now, I'm not telling you that it's perfectly alright to enjoy things like Birth of a Nation or anything like that! Contrary to popular belief, there are some pieces of media that are truly too steeped in hatred and morally reprehensible things to be supported, even through a critical lense. The only merit things like that have is to serve as a warning: This is a terrible thing made for terrible reasons, and we should not allow it to happen again.

But outside of those rare circumstances, it's not so cut and dry.

Let's take a piece of media i actually enjoy, for instance, so you know I'm not a hypocrite: Persona 5.

Persona 5 is easily one of my favorite games in the Persona series. It does a lot of interesting stuff, the artstyle and soundtrack are (in my opinion) the best in the series, and overall it's very enjoyable for me.

But, like anything, it's not perfect. I'm incredibly uncomfortable with the hypocrisy the game has in regards to the sexualization of teenagers. While Kamoshida is rightfully condemned for his sexualization of teenage girls and Ann's persona awakening comes from rejecting this objectification, the game and story undermine it by not only putting Ann in a sexually revealing outfit, but also making light of Ryuji's sexual harassment by adult men (Allegedly Persona 5 Royal tries to fix this by making the men drag enthusiasts who think Ryuji would look good in drag and giving them more sympathetic personalities, but it's still really weird and hypocritical of the game to do this.). The teenage protagonist is also allowed the option to date adult women, including his teacher, and the game rarely if ever touches on the problems with this.

The game's homophobia also left a bad taste in my mouth. Aside from the aforementioned men who sexually harass Ryuji, the only other canon LGBT+ character is a bar owner who is either a drag queen or a trans woman (or both?). Sure, she's portrayed as being kind and protective of the protagonist, but there isn't much room to interact with her or learn more about her. On top of that, not only can the protagonist not romantically pursue his male friends (A feature that even the SECOND persona game had), he's not even allowed to give them gifts or platonically show affection towards them without the dialogue mocking him. The game that allows a teenage boy to date his teacher won't allow him to simply give his male friends a present.

And yet, despite those criticisms, I do still enjoy the game. I don't consider the game irredeemable garbage based on those poorly handled topics alone. And I also understand that for some people, those topics make them so uncomfortable that they don't want to play the game at all, and I completely respect that.

Criticizing the things you enjoy is not only normal, it's oftentimes healthy. Being able to step back and say "I like this thing, but I don't like the bad things it's done. This thing would be better if these issues were fixed." Sure, sometimes some people tend to complain a bit too much about the media they supposedly enjoy, but for the most part being able to acknowledge the bad with the good is a good skill to have.

Oh, wait, all of this means nothing because Grazer thinks that critically enjoying things is nothing more than an excuse to consume media he doesn't personally agree with. Okay then.

So if he can't even realize something as simple as "it's okay to criticize some parts of media that you otherwise enjoy", how can he be expected to look critically at a religion that he's been raised in and around all his life?

Soooo yeah, Grazer has some serious problems with black and white thinking that he refuses to acknowledge, further worsened by the fact that he's practically been brainwashed into believing that Christianity is the ultimate moral compass that everyone should follow. I understand that this tends to be an issue for neurodivergent people, but it's not an excuse for the actions he does that are related to these things (sending death threats to the ESRB, antagonizing others, etc.

1. I was born 20th of February.

2. Currently working for McDonald’s Philippines – HR Coordinator. Basically, I interview a lot of managers everyday. And, I’m somewhat a workaholic. I prefer going to work than using my vacation leaves, tbh. I always look at my work email.

3. I’m actually an introvert but is able to handle social situations.

4. I have a HANDFUL of closest friends. The only people who I am able to fully trust.

5. I am caffeine dependent. I can’t function properly without coffee. I get serious headaches. Usually, I have 2 cups a day. And I forcefully drink 8 cups of water everyday, and I hate it.
