Not really. Ray/Rose being higher in the tags than Reggie/Carrie was a little surprising but that’ll change soon(ish) when I get more Letters from Rose posted and it won’t feel so out of place.

The additional tags made me laugh. I do love to swear, and I love for my blorbos to kiss. But in general this shows me I really kinda suck at tagging. Which shouldn't be a surprise.

I don't know why I can't reblog the three facts post you tagged me in. But I wanted to share what I wrote with you so you wouldn't think I didn't want to respond.

1.) I have 4 nieces (one recently passed away last year), 1 step niece, 4 nephews, 1 great nephew and 1 step great nephew. And they are from my brother and his wife. Mind you, I'm just in my early 30s.

2) Speaking of family, there's a huge age gap between me and my siblings. My brother is 19 years older than me, and my sister is 9 years older than me.

3) Okay, I need a non-fam fact. I was my high school class salutatorian. It was a battle between me and my friend, but in the end, she ended up being the valedictorian. It felt good being Miss Know-It-All back then. Now I'm Ms/Mx. Don't Know A Damn Thing.

currently reading: I'm reading The Two Towers for the first time! it's going slowly bc I haven't been setting aside that much time for reading, but I've been enjoying it. also been dipping into See No Stranger by Valarie Kaur for the nonfiction fix

currently watching: Dimension 20's Fantasy High: Junior Year baybeeeeeee (gotta watch the new episode tomorrow!!!)

currently obsessed with: the podcast Secret Feminist Agenda, which is an interview podcast hosted by one of my favourite feminist scholars, Hannah McGregor. it reminds me very much of having conversations with my grad school pals, which are 1/3rd going "WOAH THAT THING YOU'RE WORKING ON IS SO COOL!!!", 1/3rd going "man, institutions SUCK" and 1/3rd going "my god i've said praxis so much in the past 30 minutes." it's very funny and very comforting, and it's really reignited my enthusiasm for my own research after dealing with some... let's say negative feelings towards academia after finishing the phd. academia may not love me & i may not love it but boy do i love cool scholarship presented in really fun & engaging ways <3

it's also making me want to start a podcast, which is a real problem because i already have approximately a million projects i want to do WHOOPS

Currently watching: Other than dissociating in front of YouTube video essays about topics that may or may not be interesting to me...? My girlfriend is obsessed with Yugioh so I'm slowly making my way through its first season! It's... Kinda endearing?

Currently reading: I'm not currently reading anything *but* I just got a few books at a bookstore while on a road trip, so I'm excited to (put them in a pile of other recently purchased books and not read them for months) dig into one of those soon!

Current obsession: I've been on kind of a warbirds kick lately so I keep watching videos of inertial engine startups and Spitfire and Mustang flybys and low passes so the part of my autistic brain that likes aircraft engine noises gets some dopamine!
