Heeey what’s up?XD i’ve got an idea which’s not letting me sleep in the night, I would be so happy if you wrote something like this. So basically: villain gets badly injured and supervillain leaves him behind, because villain is no more use in this state. He lies on his bed waiting for death to come and take him, also questioning his every decision that had led to this situation . When hero finds him, villain tells him to finish it quickly, he’s not even resisting . But instead hero brings his nemesis home with him, takes care of him and overall acts nice, which makes villain doubt his own sanity for a second.

Bonus points if hero tried to mock the villain(friendly ofc), expecting him to snap back, but instead villain just accepted it, making hero even more worried

It’s close.

The villain can feel it. The pain is ebbing, the world is fading. A light chill is slowing blanketing him the closer he falls to the narrow edge of existence.

It’s a miracle he made it here at all, frankly, but the noise outside is a pleasant distraction from having to think about any of what brought him here. The quiet hum of the city below, the birds twittering on the branches outside his window, the door down the hall clicking shut, the chatter of the people on the street below, the—

Was that his door?

Any other day, the villain would’ve leapt up and taken the intruder on with his bare hands. But today is not any other day, and he can only watch as his bedroom door silently swings open.

Damn, he knew he shouldn’t have oiled those hinges last week.

“Oh,” the hero says faintly from the doorway, as if he’s surprised to find the villain in his own house. “You’re not looking so good.”

The villain lets out a sarcastic wheeze that sends a surge of pain through his chest. “I wonder whose fault that is.”

The hero approaches the bed, almost nervous, and the villain can see his nemesis’s favourite weapon tucked at his side, the metal protruding from his hip like it’s part of him. Maybe it is. It certainly seemed like it when it turned on the villain before.

The hero tsks humourously, the sound almost lost on the villain deafened ears entirely. “Those are the words of someone who didn’t dodge fast enough.”

“Can we stop dancing now and get to the good bit?” It’s intended to be sharp, harsh, but the lack of energy makes it come out like he’s begging. As if the villain ever would. “It’s a little unprofessional to follow your enemies home, but I think this might be for the best.”

“Oh, would you like me to fix you a drink while you bleed out, sir?” The hero breathes laugh, his usual grin worming teasingly onto his face. “Read you one last bedtime story?”

It’s a beautiful set up from the hero, really. On any other day, the villain would’ve laughed in his face and accepted either of those offers before putting him in the ground. Today is not any other day, so the villain just sighs and simply says, “I’d like you to put me out my misery.”

The grin on the hero’s face, patiently awaiting the usual retort, slips. The villain can barely find it in himself to put a name to the emotion his nemesis is slowly falling into.

“[Villain], wh—” The first flickers of uncertainty from the hero the villain’s ever seen. “I can’t do that. You know that’s against my hero’s code.”

“Eh, well,” the villain manages from behind halting breaths, “maybe it’d work out better for us both if you were the bad guy for once.”

The hero’s eyes flick over the villain’s face, then the crimson halo slowly seeping into the sheets, then, for some reason, at an ornate watch on his wrist.

“Alright,” he says confidently, like he’s just concocted a perfect plan in those three seconds. “Alright, I have fifteen minutes before the Agency starts asking where I’ve gone. Can you walk?”

“You can shoot me lying down, [Hero], I’m not wasting the last of my life obeying your orders.”

“It’s not an order, you moron,” the hero snaps, somehow gentle and annoyed at the same time. “It’s a request, and this is definitely not the last of your stupid, badly-spent life. Come on.”

Five days pass in what the villain assumes is the hero’s house. Not a decision the villain would’ve made, but he’s had five more days to judge the man about it than if he hadn’t made that decision, so really he can’t say too much on it.

The hero’s been in and out, much like the villain’s consciousness. A bandage here, a bowl of food there. Soft words, softer touches. When the villain meets him with more clarity and finds a smirk on the idiot’s face, his first worry is that he’s said something nice in his half-alive stupor.

“You’re more awake than you were,” the hero comments idly. “That’s good. Up to eating?”

The villain stares at his reflection in the soup the hero’s holding out to him. The blood caking his face before is gone, the giant gash the villain remembers the hero giving him barely a pink line now.

He’s better. Maybe the villain isn’t as awake as he thought, because this treatment, from the hero of all people, is rather charming.

He takes the bowl slowly, giving it a sniff. “Is it poisoned?”

“You’re definitely back!” The hero laughs, his smile wide and bright, and the villain almost smiles too. “No, it’s not poisoned. It’s not too flavourful, and the veg in it is nice and soft. Take your time.”

The villain brings the bowl to his lips and takes a sip of the broth. The hero wasn’t lying—tame, light, and not tasting even slightly of arsenic. “Thanks.”

It doesn’t sound natural to the villain’s ears, but the hero beams like it’s exactly what he wanted to hear.

The two of them sit in silence as the villain slowly works the soup down until it’s just a couple of carrots floating in a rather meagre sea. It’s warmed him nicely, woken him up a little. This care isn’t something the villain’s earned. Why is the hero doing this? Why is it making him so soft?

He’s been slowly planning his question, the obvious one, the one that’s been bothering him since the hero hoisted him out of bed and into recovery like he deserved it.

This question, carefully planned in the villain’s head, comes out as a rather pathetic, “Why would you do that?”

The hero shrugs, shaking his head slightly. “Any other day, I wouldn’t,” he offers with a light smile. “But it wasn’t any other day, and I felt like giving you another try.”

The villain nods and looks back into his soup. The hero, after a moment of awkward silence, adds, “Is that okay?”

Maybe any other day it wouldn’t have been. But today isn’t like any other day.

The villain shoots him an awkward smile and hero returns it cheerfully. Maybe this is the day he finally lets a hero win.

He knows what’s up, biologically. Being on the SEEDS ship, he had to have access to SEVERAL ways to learn about what a period is. (And if you subscribe to the transmasc Vash theory, 1. I love you /p and 2. Plants have different biology so he’s never had a period himself methinks.)

Definitely helps you stock up on preferred supplies, and is on TOP of snack distribution. Any time, any place, he’s got at least three of your preferred comfort snack in his jacket pockets.

Oh my god… Repeat of TriStamp Episode One where he tries to load his gun with one of the snacks he packed for you. Just crushes a candy bar into the side in a panic while he’s feeling around for bullets—

Will hold you if you ask, or will just sit off on the side and be quiet in case you need him but are feeling a bit too overwhelmed to be held.

Like I mentioned in the cuddles post, I think he’s very cool to the touch, which can definitely be helpful (cool hands to the back of my neck save me…) but he’ll heat up a hot water bottle if the cramps get bad, or will flop on your back if you need some pressure to combat the aches.

Lowkey he gets kinda overbearing during it all, but hey, maybe that’s what you need when you’re having A Moment for however many days straight.

I pray you all get where I’m coming from when I say he’s a “what size pussy are you?” type of supportive—

Like, alright, he knows what a period is, he’s just never had to deal with one first hand like this. Also, we gotta give him points for trying, because he is! And he learns quick.

It becomes a routine really fast. Lowkey he starts to like. Sense when it’s coming and prepare accordingly.

Like if he knows you prefer to have your space, then he’ll back off, but if you want him close he turns into velcro. Just… he’s right there with you the whole time if you want him to be.

He is very much following your lead because you know your body better than he does (*ahem*) and he trusts your judgement.

That being said… I think he made a bit of an ass of himself on the first supply run. Like he just comes back to you with a bunch of different types of tampons and pads and all sorts of things that looked like they might help because, and I quote, “I panicked.”

Also, lowkey, I think he enjoys the week-ish “off.” Like in a world where he’s not doing… All That, staying at home and just taking a load off with you sounds pretty nice, even if he’s gotta get up every now and then and heat up a water bottle or help with the laundry.

Oh she makes no bones about it even a little bit.

You come to her and ask for a tampon/pad/snack/medicine/whatever else you need and she’s got it for you! And if it’s clear you’re uncomfortable talking about it with the others/at all, she keeps it all on the down low.

If she packed PJs as per the cuddles post, I think she also packed a hot water bottle that she has no problem sharing.

That is… unless that Thing happens and your cycles sync up. Then I think she gets a bit more protective of that water bottle—

But she’s still there for you in other aspects! The survival rate of Shark Week goes up the more people are going through it together, right?

I think Meryl’s a bit like Wolfwood in the sense that she’s following your lead on what you want to do/need her to do while you’re on your cycle. Again, you know your body best, and while she’ll make sure you’re meeting the baseline for hydration and rest, everything else is up to you!

All in all, she’s a great help, and she’s glad you trust her enough to be that help for you.

She’s a complete angel about the whole thing!

Not only has she been going through her own period for a good while now, but she was also around for her siblings when they started going through their cycles.

Basically an expert in the field. While she may not have your preferred supplies on hand, she can def help you get them if you need it!

She totally spoils you with sweets if you let her. I’m talking like a conveyor belt of chocolates and puddings and anything else you could ask for to help keep your stomach from cramping too badly. (Honestly she does it a bit so she has an excuse for sweets herself but that’s not the point—)

She pushes hard for you to take it easy, too. While Meryl and Wolfie are more ambivalent to your activity level, Vash and ESPECIALLY Milly are very pro “chill the hell out on the couch and watch/listen to some reruns to recouperate.”

You know what else happens? She puts your favorite blanket through the dryer/leaves it out in the sun so it gets all warm and toasty for you to snuggle up in.

Like she just peeps into your den with your blanket in her arms like “Hiiii~ I brought a gift!” and it’s the best, she’s the best—

So like… you know how little boys get when they learn about cooties for the first time—

I don’t think he complains too much about the situation out loud, but he’s pretty obviously not pleased that you’re dealing with this. Mostly because he doesn’t wanna deal with it by proxy.

He knows what a period is, he understands, biologically, why humans have it, but being a Plant—and a Plant Supremacist at that—he doesn’t really get it.

Just as long as you’re comfortable and not bothering him too much, he’ll let you do just about whatever.

Like, sure, take all the blankets, why not? You want a snack? If bringing it to you will help you get some rest and sit still, he will bring it to you himself.

…As long as you stay there under all the blankets while he drops it off. Don’t touch him it’s gross— (to him, periods are normal and shouldn’t be stigmatized, Nai.)

I’m just imagining him tossing a candy bar at your blanket fort or something and murmuring shit like “you’re lucky I like tolerate you,” and tbh it’s like. Strangely endearing. In a bastard way—

The question came from the Ranger standing below him, eying him skeptically. Unlike the rest of her troop, her clothing wasn’t dyed in practical shades of green and gray. Instead, it was bright and colorful, splattered with paint and shades of pink, purple, and orange.

Ezra already liked her for it.

“Dignity is overrated,” he told her, twisting his head a little so he wouldn’t have to look at her upside down. Hanging by one’s knees from a tree made that a little tricky, but he thought he managed well enough. And…huh. She’s…really pretty. Ezra’s heart did a little flip.

“Clearly, you think so,” the Ranger girl said.

Ezra shrugged as best he could. “Hey, your boss is the one flirting with my mentor.”

She snorted. “She’s flirting back.”

“No way. Hera doesn’t flirt like, ever.” Ezra racked his brains, and remained positive. “Yep. There’s no way.”

“I just call it like I see it.”

Letting go of his grip on the branch, Ezra dropped and did a quick flip, landing on his feet. His head spun for a minute, but he finally managed to take in a proper view of the Ranger girl. Definitely pretty. Elegant cheekbones, golden-brown eyes, and hair cut short and dyed an impossible shade of orange and blue Ezra didn’t even know they had in Middle Earth.

Crossing his own arms, he tried to play it cool. “Well, maybe she’s onto something with the whole flirting thing.”

The girl’s eyebrows shot up, and then she laughed. “In your dreams, elf boy.” Spinning on her heel, she stalked away, and Ezra watched her go.
