I always go on about the early days in their relationship and the toxic aspects, so Gus and Rivera can have some late plot domesticity as a treat <3

Gus’ shoulders dropped in relief as he stepped into the familiar comfort of his home; It had been a long and exhausting day, with his countless duties keeping him occupied much later into the night than he had hoped. The house was lit by soft candle light and Rivera’s presence was immediately made known by the sound of the TV from the living room. Gus wondered if he’d ever grow accustomed to returning to a house that was not silent and dark. These days Rivera’s presence settled comfortably across the home, found in the small trinkets he collected, in his favorite foods in the pantry, and in the way his voice filled the previously silent spaces.

Gus began to call out to Rivera but stopped when he crossed the threshold into the living room, noticing that he was passed out on the couch with some colorful 90’s cartoon blasting on the tv at nearly full volume. Rivera was slumped against the arm of the couch, dark hair falling across his face and a limp arm extended towards a remote on the floor. He appeared to have fallen asleep by accident, presumably while trying to keep himself awake until Gus got home from work. Rivera was incredibly persistent about that - he always wanted to be around to greet Gus when he got home, to be able to waste some idle hours and to say goodnight.

Gus moved into the living room then hesitated, hovering there in front of the couch as he debated whether to wake his partner or not. He knew that Rivera would want to be woken up but he also knew that getting him back to sleep would take ages, and judging by the dark rings under his eyes he needed the sleep. Gus turned off the tv then attended to his nightly routine; By the time he was done he had already decided what to do about Rivera. He gathered blankets and pillows from their bedroom then carefully tucked a pillow beneath Rivera’s head and eased him into a more comfortable position before draping the thick, heavy comforter he liked over his sleeping form. Gus took up position in the nearby chair, making himself as comfortable as possible with a cushioning of pillows and blankets. When Rivera awoke, Gus would be there to greet him.

you're pretty much right with Bee. this has been the wildest day he's had since forever, he's very much just along for the ride and he's kinda just "this may as well happen :)"-ing through everything. he's also lowkey clinging to the one (1) good new he's gotten from this whole affair for dear life. like. he could freak out about the fact his entire life has been a lie and he's been working himself to death for a tyrant that's betrayed their entire race to their sworn enemies. or he could be happy his new best friend is extra cool now. so. y'know. glass half-full half-empty kinda deal.

on the other. this is just one more thing he's been wrong about for cycles. everything he thought was true is turning out to be a lie and even if this isn't a betrayal like sentinel's it's still something he has to accept is not what he thought it was. Orion, his best friend, the person he trusted the most, is not what he thought he was.

and even though Orion didn't know (which... is also a point of contention between them with Dee not being quite able to believe one could forget such a thing even as Orion swears over and over again he had no idea) there's still a divide between them that wasn't there before. now Orion is this almost mythological being directly created by their god for greater things while Dee is just... a miner.

now Orion is a Prime. and Dee has just found out what happens when you trust a so-called Prime.

and he also can't help but wonder, as he remembers all those times Orion ignored what he said and involved him in his crazy schemes with no regard for what he thought about it, if it's just in the nature of Primes to do as they wish without considering what it means for everyone else.

but the real victim here is elita who is experiencing a level of cringe that hasn't been seen in cybertron before nor will be seen again until maybe four million years and a war later during peace negotiations. pray for her.

I was just reading your and Gomz's Plant Dad Price AU and I saved this cat because I was like "hmmm, this animal is giving Nikprice" and I wasn't sure how. But!

Plant Dad Price adopting things that no one else wants. This fluffy Maine Coon has a serious attitude problem, but adopts Price as its person. It starts off as a scraggly, skinny, lanky thing, with patches missing. Noe, it's fucking HUGE. Can use Johnny as a scratching post. Seems to have a knack for sniffing out explosives.
