my favourite part of agatha all along is how fucking unserious this show is. the gen z dialogue, the unique, iconic characters all carrying their own baggage, them all being at each other's throats at any given moment, the amount of gay.

it turns any slightly horror plot into something sheerly comedic in a matter of seconds due to the characters being their bratty selfish incredible selves. like, agatha is on the CEILING, her limbs twisted and demonically screeching, and the first thing jen says is 'she's faking it'.

i cackled.

seriously, this is literally legends of tomorrow. queer ragtag team with unique powers/personalities, with fantastical witchy plots and can change their tone from campy to horrific in a matter of seconds. i love it. i love it so much. 10/10. also i think rio and agatha should kiss.

No but seriously can we talk about the horrifying tragedy of William Kaplan in the MCU?

That child died. He's dead and no one is mourning him. He died and a stranger took over his body. He died and everyone's memory of him is being replaced by a different person. His parents don't know and even when they eventually find out they'll never be able to bury their son.

Do you think they're grieving him? Do you think, on some subconscious level, they know their child is gone? Do you think they feel guilty because for all they know they're just being selfish about "William's" memory loss? Do you think they'll be able to stop loving Billy, the child they've raised for the past three years, just because he's not really William? Do you think Billy will stop loving them just because he found his "real" family?

Do you think William will ever get to have some kind of memorial?

So when Billy from “Frozen in time Fawcett” gets inducted to the Justice League I cannot imagine how hard it was for him to get used to the new technology.

Like he’s used to television sets being wider than his head, and all of a sudden he’s in a building that’s in space. He sees flat screen televisions and absolutely freaks out in the middle of the conference room.

What do you mean there’s no phone booths in Central City or anywhere? You just take the phone ‘with you?’ How does that work?

Why’s everything so small now? What do you mean Jarts are banned? Why do cars look like that?

Billy must’ve been so confused leaving Fawcett.

Everyone must think Captain’s so weird until they get to Fawcett and EVERYTHING makes sense.

Prompt 95

Captain Marvel, new Den-Mother (despite the fact he himself is a child even if the league isn’t aware of that fact) for the Young Justice team blinks. Klarion, so-called chaos lord, blinks back in the middle of a spell. 

He tilts his head. The other baby realms-being mirrors him. His own magic-fueled core pulses, and a chaos-core vibrates back. Oh. Ah. So that’s what’s happening. 

“They can’t play right now,” he explains to the barely-younger ancient-in-training, ignoring the team’s incredulous looks at his words with the practice of someone who had to deal with the voices of gods all the time. And Batman’s narrowing eyes. Scary. 

The chaos-core thrums in a distinct pouting-sensation, alongside a whine unique to young ghostlings. A whine that he replied with, even if only they could hear. Come play later, busy now, he insisted again, even if Klarion’s pouting was turning visible before it shifted to a scowl. 

“Fiiine…” And then the chaosling was gone, his familiar with him. Billy really wished he could join in disappearing, seeing the info-hungry look in the others’ eyes.
