Favorite thing about them: She's funny and witty and empathetic and resourceful and kind! I love her personality.

Least favorite thing about them: I mean, I'm not the greatest fan of the whole sleeping with her brother thing lmao. Still, I wish we got to know more about them, like, what's their deal? Because so far it just seems like this type of bsd dark humor I don't really vibe with. It's fairly easy to ignore for me though, so I don't really dwell on it too much ahah.

First of all, thank you for the great ask!

It's a tough one. I came up with a serious answer (boring but wise), and then I though about what else I would want to ask, were all my primary needs met already (more interesting), and this is the one I'll share:

1) to finally come to know every single truth and conspiracy that went on behind the scenes of the CW show Supernatural specifically regarding the whole destiel-gate (tapes™ included)

2) to live in a world where fanfiction is considered as a valid form of literature worthy of respect just like every other literary genre (1. for its sociological and anthropological value regardless of each piece's inner quality and 2. for the inner literary quality that not all but some of those fanworks have, equal to other published works that currently get to have recognition).

3) for karma to work at 80%, so that good things happened to good people and bad things to bad people, and everyone mostly got what they deserved. (note: I didn't say 100% because if that were the case we probably wouldn't have any form of art anymore and we need it as a spices to give life meaning)

(what’s something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?): i feel so bad for saying this publicly because it’s so normalized for people to write him this way now after the movie but lmfaooo i hate when people make him overly confident, dominant, possessive, or like??? insanely abrasive and jealous??? it’s so uncomfortable and unserious, like i’ve had enough 😭😭😭 also, i just think if you’re writing him as someone who calls female characters misogynistic slurs, over coriolanus snow out of all people (or anyone for that matter), you should pick someone else to write cause clearly you don’t know who he is. like at all. i have no tolerance for that, just weird asfk

(if you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to this character? something you don't like?): i love the medic fics so so much!!! i know that’s a pretty popular thing to do with him, but i really think he would’ve eventually excelled in it. he deserved a chance! i also adore (while he does do this in canon as well) when authors write him as someone who absolutely spoils the people he loves with gifts and treats. it’s so sweet 😭 + i think the second half of this can be applied to #8!

I'll take the compliment and hehehehehehhe, that's exactly my plan >:3 I've seen some darker fanfics about them but honestly they're not exactly my taste tbh (at least a lot of them), I'm glad you're liking my concept of them though😌 idk if you've read Poe's or ranpos works but I think they build a really cool basis for what they COULD be yk, I'm a great fan of kind of fucked up things but I'd love for them to still be fucked up together yk, I think they deserve that lol

Ig I get people seeing them as "healthy" tho like all of bsd (at least in the beginning) it seems nice and happy and funny but if you look closer their dynamic is built on so much non-verbal communication, which makes it fun to interpret things into it, for example Poe's rapid change in personality from trying to kill ranpo to working together with him even though he still considers ranpo his rival. He changes imo bc he realises that ranpo respects the hell out of him, and I think this mutual understanding for each others oddness that others don't seem to get makes it even more fun to explore their dynamic.

Sorry I'm rambling, I've talked about this plenty already, I hope that was okay though and I am glad that you see my vision (even if you prefer a more healthy ranpo I can totally see that too)🙏💜

Yep! Most of her life is a secret, and she's constantly exposed to secrets that could ruin many lives if they ever were revealed. Not to mention Data is one of the biggest secrets of the universe, herself. If you tell her something you don't want anyone else in the universe to know, she'd keep the secret to her grave (or reincarnation? in her case. she's already dead)

Not really! Well actually no, he can cook enough to get by if he was left alone but he hasn't needed to worry about it for centuries so he'd be a bit rusty. The only time he ever cooks (bakes) is when Xena comes back to the station after a Round. He makes her the cookies they had when they were kids :3

34. Do they have a dream job?

He's kind of living it right now! He's the lab director and head researcher of the experiment he and Xena are in. He started the project from the ground up, funded it initially, and spends most of his days monitoring Xena's actions and directing research flow. Lots of e-paperwork...

43. What do they think is their worst quality? What is their actual worst quality?

Ok so both Xena and Yuri are older than dirt and are continuing to get much, much older as their little pocket of the universe continues the Destiny project. How that ties into this question is. Yuri has basically accepted and smoothed out his shortcomings (even what he excels at), because of the sheer amount of time he's spent alive. If you asked him what his worst quality is he wouldn't be able to answer, because he thinks all his quirks, good or bad, are basically the same. Perhaps the one that inconveniences him the most is his cold and unwelcoming personality, but you'll never hear him admitting it.

What is actually his worst quality? The way that he overreacts when he does feel something and does have someone he cares for at stake. He's too quick to panic and go too far when attempting to bring things back into his control, and doesn't stop to think if his actions will bring more harm than it would good. He's a control freak and can't calm down unless things are going in a way he oversee.

1. What is your favourite boss gameplay-wise?

This is such a difficult question to answer because I love them all for different reasons but I’d honestly have to say Lady Maria. Her fight is extremely satisfying with the parry system and different ‘phases’. She punishes you if you get greedy but also allows for slightly more aggressive play- a good mix in my opinion. I always look forward to steamrolling the DLC to get to fighting her wkwhwwh

2. What is your favourite boss aesthetic/design-wise?

Aesthetically, it has to be Sister Friede and Father Ariandel. The contrast and combination of fire and ice within the confines of a beautifully ornate church, the different phases, dialogue etc. just come together to make the most beautiful boss fight in my opinion.

22. If you were to add a weapon into the game, what would it be?

I’ve not played through all the Souls games so I might be missing it, but I love those weapons that the Grave Warden Duelist uses. I think that sort of hammer on a chain thing would be super cool.

3. What ideas come from when you were little

Ohh this is a really cool question!! When I was little / a pre-teen I used to only draw anime art. I hope my current style has no anime traces left, just because it's something I'm not really into anymore, but I'm definitely inspired sometimes by it. Like when something has an anime vibe, if that makes any sense.

You mentioned in Noel’s bio how he has severe face blindness-, how would he go about dealing that with his darling, then? Knowing he can’t see their face? Would it frustrate him? Intrigue him? Would it make his tendencies worse or better? Just curious.

Noel is born with his face blindness so he has since learnt to deal with it. For most people, he just relies on context clues or their hair/clothes/voice etc. to recognize them.

For his s/o though, i've always had half an idea in mind that they used to be childhood friends...

(yes his natural hair colour is white. if he ever finds you looking at this picture he will be so embarrassed.)

this became a long ass post of noel lore so

Noel might be able to handle his prosopagnosia now, but that wasn't always the case. Being a somewhat shy kid, the inability to recognize other people made it harder for him to make friends. He just feels disconnected from most people --- sometimes he looks in the mirror and can hardly register that he's staring at himself.

I'd imagine this is where his s/o comes in, and they become a very stable, comforting presence in his life until one day, they moved away without saying anything.

So to Noel, his s/o is someone that he knows on a deep and personal level, and he can basically recognize them out of instinct.

Of course, his condition still frustrates him very much --- what kind of lover is he if he can't even remember his partner's face? That's why he dedicates himself to remembering every single detail of his s/o: counting every freckle and lash; replicating in his mind the exact lilt of their voice, the quirks of their body language...

but maybe in a very cheesy way, he's thankful for his condition? because it means, every day, he can re-live how he met his s/o and the first experience of seeing their face ...
