Welcoming 2025 🫶🏻

As per usual, I’m a little late to this one but I want to say thank you to everyone who tagged me, you mean the world to me 💕

2024 was a weird year for me personally. I started the year off with being in a 2 year relationship with a girl that I thought I was gonna marry.

I finished my first semester of my education in January and started my second on in February and finished it just before June with a result that I didn’t love but I passed nonetheless.

Got diagnosed with ADHD and depression within the span of like six months.

My now ex girlfriend and I broke up in May and that really threw me off on a tangent, working way too much and harder than my body could take to the point of nearing a mental breakdown.

In July, I got rear ended on the expressway and suffered mild whiplash while having to fly to Canada two days later. Met my online friend of a whole decade for the first time and had a genuinely amazing time and fell in love with Toronto.

Moved to another city and started fresh but I was still overworking myself.

Decided that I was ready to start dating again and as it turns out, I definitely wasn’t lol. Put that on hold for a while before I met my boyfriend that I’ve been with 1.5 months by now. And I ended the year by finally going to therapy and actually being surprised by how much that one session already helped me.

Fandom wise was beyond great. I finally managed to post my first fanfic and it was so well received (thank you to everyone who read and commented 🥰), even tho I was so scared to post it. Soon a few more fics followed and I’m so happy that I (mostly) got my mojo back to write.

Genuinely just felt so good to be a part of this fandom despite of all the drama on some aspects. And seeing Buck kissing a man for the first time like HELLO??

Never had I felt so seen and having a character I love have the same sexuality as me. And I was so happy to see that so many others felt the same and that Oliver handled it with such care and respect.

Read some amazing fics and enjoyed a lot of art by deeply talented people. I really just felt the love poured into every work and it’s honestly making me emotional to see how supportive people are and how much effort you guys put into your works.

I love you all so much ❤️
