Headcanon time for (some of) my ships.

Symbolism

MaTch (Marco x Thatch)

Marco always have something yellow on him, not just his belt or the color of his hair. No, he has a golden ring on his left index finger, given to him by Thatch. It's subtle and not many notices it by first glance - or second.

Thatch has a silver necklace with a blue phoenix pendant around his neck, which was a gift from Marco. Only very few have seen it and know that it exists. He has never taken it off.

MaZo (Marco x Izo)

Marco has small cherry tree in full blossom tattooed on his right shoulder. Underneath it, both his and Izo's name are tattoed. It's his second tattoo and he doesn't plan on getting more, as he only wants tattoo that has a deeper meaning to him.

Izo has two phoenix hairpins, given to him by Marco. One blue and one red. He wears it on special occasions, though they're always with him. That way he fels connected with his lover, even when they're apart.

ThaZo (Thatch x Izo)

Thatch has a cherry petal with Izo's name tattooed on his chest. Furthermore, he has a necklace with a cherry as a pendant, as cherries are Izo's favorite fruit.

Izo has a knife and a cake roll with Thatch's name tattooed on his right chest. From Thatch he was gifted a dark purple kinomo with blue edges and cherry petals falling down on the right side of it, alongside a yellow idument.

Soooo I haven't posted anything for a while didn't I ? Well let me fix that; friendly reminder that I'm fiercely convinced that:

Perachel is too good to be canon and is shipped by the most intelligent people out of this whole fandom; Jeyna wasn't made canon because it would have eclipsed all of the other ships which couldn't have even tried to breathe in the same canon as this perfection of an otp; Lecho is what you'll find if you look down the definition of "absolute cuteness" in a dictionary, Sadieo could and should rule the world; Thaloe has more powerful wlw energy than any ship from this serie or any fandom; people don't give Racheleo the attention any sane fandom would give them and it kills me; Jasabeth>>percabeth; Percalypso has at the same time the most interesting/mature/morally ambiguous potential and most adorable and fluffy potential for an au/fic; and...just Valdangelo....do I need to say more?

I miss you

"Hello gorgeous." Thatch grinned, as he came to Izo, who was lying on a sunchair with a book. It was a lazy day for all the Whitebeard Pirates - well except from the cooks, since the crew needed to be fed no matter what. Izo had opted to take a break from his duties as a commander and enoy the sun and peace, as you could never tell when either of them would be interrupted by something.

"Finally taking a break?" Izo hummed, placing the book on his lap, as he moved a little, to make space for Thatch. The cook took a seat, a warm smile dancing on his lips, before he leaned in for a soft kiss, which made Izo smile lightly, kissing his love back.

With a sigh, Thatch made himself comfortable between Izo's legs, using Izo's torso as a back rest. "Kind of. Got thrown out of my own kitchen." It didn't happen often, but the sous chef - Jessica - sometimes did throw Thatch out of the kitchen and forced him to take a long break. She was a great cook and sous chef, he could trust her with running the kitchen, but he just loved cooking. It was his passion after all.

Izo chuckled. "Remind me to thank her later. Now I can spend some time with you." He placed his arms around Thatch and placed a kiss upon the pompadour. "I have barely seen you the past week. You're way too busy." Izo commented, sounding a little upset.

"Aw, do you feel neglected? Then I need to make it up to you." Thatch purred, feeling slightly guilty for the neglect, but it happened and it would happen again. Life as a pirate and as part of sucha large crew/family, wasn't easy. Especially when you were in charge of a division and the cooks.

"You better make it up to me." Izo said firmly. He knew that it wasn't Thatch's fault. When he finally had told Thatch about his feelings and learnign that the cook fel tthe same towards him, Izo had accepted that he wouldn't get attention every single day from Thatch. They did share a room and a bed, but it wasn't always enough. "I miss you." Izo whispered softly.

Thatch turned around, a soft smile was on his lips. "I miss you too, love. You have my full attention and time now, so let's make the best out of it." He gave him another kiss, this one a little more passionate, as to tell Izo just hw much he'd missed him.

Izo pulled Thatch closer, deepning the kiss, while letting a few fingers glide trough the back of Thatch's hair. Neither of them cared about their brothers watching them or that others could see how passionate they were. Right now, it was about the two of them and nothing else excited, though they never took it too far.

Pulling away, Izo placed a hand on Thatch's cheek. "In that case, ejoy the sun with me for a while. You look like you need a nap." Thatch did look a little tired and Izo wouldn't mind sittin here, reading, while Thatch was asleep between his legs. Later he would drag the cook to their room for more intimacy, but for now, all he wanted was to feel Thatch being there physically.

Smiling, Thatch turned around again, made himself comfortable again. Closing his eyes, he thought that taking a nap like this was probably the best way to nap. Being with Izo was definitely one of the best things that had happened to him and being able to spend time together like this, was proof of how much they loved each other.

Feeling Thatch drifting off, Izo picked up the book again, feeling content. He'd missed being close and intimate with Thatch like this the past week. Now he could relax and enjoy the sun even more. He felt loved and he loved. Could life be better right now?

Oh I'm glad to know my opinion interests you ^^. What third person would you add onto Percy/Thalia?

Probably... Probably Zoe.

She'd be the only one who could calm things between those two. In a stressing environment like the second Titan war or the second gigantomachy, Percy and Thalia would constantly be stressed and could go on everyone nerves. Zoe has her wild side, but she also is the wiser one out of the three. She has seen so many wars, she'll know what to say and do to reassure them.

Zoe's character arc in the Titan's Curse is mainly influenced by her interactions with Percy and Thalia : with the first one, she has learned to respect and trust men again, and to accept that she has to judge someone on his actions and not something like his gender, like she did with Luke. She made a mistake with Luke, yes she was right in the end, but she shouldn't have assumed what he would become at this moment of his life. Zoe had a lot remorse about what she said to Thalia. So if she had survived, they could have worked this out better, with Percy's help.

They have in common that they're really good battle strategists, but when someone they love is in harm (Sally, Annabeth, Tyson or Artemis) they have the bad instinct to jump in without thinking. Maybe together, they could balance this flaw.

I'm not sure how Artemis would react though, seeing her friend, single for millennials, starting a relationship with not one, but two people ? And one of them being a man ? It'd be hard for her at first. But after all, if she HAS to be in love, Percy and Thalia clearly are the best she could have picked.

In the end, they'd be really great together. Gods are afraid of Percy's powers ? Well, with these two as his girlfriends, they'd have even bigger reasons to be afraid (fortunately, Artemis, Poseidon and Zeus protect them. They aren't the happiest ones about this relationship, but their child/friend is happy, so what can they say ?)

P.S. : Percy and Thalia would definitely try to teach their modern language to Zoe, and sometimes, they couldn't resist to teach her something completely false and stupid. And when she'd discover it... well they're screwed.
