Hey so I noticed your post about making Titans kids next gen au so I was wondering when would you start

haha i’ve kind of been busy the past few months so i haven’t really been able to brainstorm much. most likely it wouldn’t rlly be a big series or it wouldn’t start that way cause i’m rlllyyy bad at plotting things out. i’ve written a few little things about some of the characters, like robert long, because i do have an idea for him? but other than that i haven’t really done much with the idea because of school

since you reminded me i might post about it a little more often. if i wanted to start writing it though i think i’d probably need to reread some comics like the ntt to get a feel on certain characters.

So I was browsing the callyieverse wiki just for fun and I stumbled upon a bit in Danielle Stone's trivia where it said she declined to join the next gen Teen Titans and it got me thinking about what those Teen Titans might be like. I figured it might be a fun experiment to draw a few of them. (Obligatory: this is just for fun, these characters aren't canon unless PrincessCallyie says so, and if I'm stepping on anyone's toes - I apologize and it isn't intentional.)

I have a few ideas for some next gen teen titans so I'm gonna use this post as a thread to add onto when/if I get around to drawing all of them. There won't be a Cyborg kid because this is made with the intent to "fit in" with the callyieverse even if they aren't considered canon and Danielle already exists.

Long winded intro aside... here's who I made as the leader of the Next Gen Teen Titans - Galfore Grayson (named for Starfire's adoptive parental figure) better known as Moonfire! Son of Robin (Nightwing) and Starfire! Dude is a cocky little shit. He has his mom's powers and his dad's acrobatic skills. He's trying to carve out his own legacy by restarting the Teen Titans with a team of his own. His outfit is inspired by his parents' costumes and also Wildfire from the teen titans comics!

Mar’i and Lian’s training outfits ( when they train with their parents, other mentors, etc)

First, I think both girls like their basic matching sets

They like to wear colors that represent their parents ( red for Roy, blue for Dick in this case )

For Lian, her favorite combo is baggy pants and a long sleeve shirt

Lian will steal her dads old clothes ( she uses his t shirts for pump covers, or whenever she’s lazy and throws on the first shirt she can find

Lian likes her dark colors and neutrals. Here’s a little cameo from cobra Kai to represent Lian ( I love Tory Nichols sue me )

for my girl Mar'i. She likes to experiment with more color. She loves her shorts and tank tops and will wear long sleeve/hoodies if she's uncomfortable that day

The hero of bludhaven could only pout inward, your normally so talkative and so very sharp tongued, so why wont you talk to him like you always do bunny? :( (this man forgot hes in his nightwing persona for a sec 🤦)

Turns out, our dear is very awkward when around people :( (or atleast to strangers face to face, bc she has absolutely ZERO shame when it comes to online people and her friends-- or that depends idk bc girly is unpredictable)

Anyways, before he could speak up, you ran away.

Nightwing was very worried, so he stalked followed you as you make your way back home.

Once you locked your doors and go to sleep, he takes a sigh of relief... but not before pulling out his phone and taking a picture of your address and place.

<3 what a nice little home his darling has.

(From that point on, you see this man in both his hero and civilian persona almost too often for your taste.)

Darlings pov on dick is that hes pretty f*cking annoying, and nightwing is 100 times worse

Fun fact: you often throw things at him, curse at him, or sometimes even FLASH at him whenever hes nightwing.

(he once tripped on a slime you threw and he fell straight down to a garbage can. Whoops.)

Was struck with the idea to make a future AU/third gen character relating to my teen titans next gens. This is Nightfire, he's a little bit of a curmudgeonly brat who is hoping to restart the Teen Titans in his time. He's a bit of a jerk and hard to get along with so he's maybe not the best leader material. He has typical tamaranean powers like his dad with blue starbolts just like him. He's also ironically named after Robin (the role inhabited by many including his grandfather) but had no desire to ever become a Robin himself.

Mar'i Grayson Titans

I always wondered who the Titans of Mar'i's generation would be (if DC would stop killing off Titans kids). Her generation takes place a few years after Damian's, after he becomes the next Batman. It also happens during Batman Beyond.

Team breakdown

Mar'i Grayson | Nightstar: Self explanatory. Being the daughter of Nightwing, the original Titans leader, and Starfire, Mar'i is taking up a mantle passed down from Dick. She has her mother's Tamaranean abilities.

Lian Harper | Red Riding Hood: Lian is the daughter of Arsenal and Cheshire. After leaving her previous team the Strays behind, she has joined forces with Nightstar and the other children of the original Titans to form the next Titans team. Like her father Arsenal, Lian is a skilled archer.

Irey West | Kid Flash: Iris "Irey" West II is the daughter of the previous Kid Flash and Linda Park. She inherited the speedster gene and has access to the Speed Force. She's one of the original Titans.

Robert Long | Darkstar: The son of Troia. Robert was raised by his mother and never knew his father. His Amazon powers manifested fairly early, and he was trained as one by his mother. Once he became of age, he was his mother's Wonderboy. He then retired the Wonderboy mantle and went on to join the Titans, taking the name Darkstar.

Corazon Reyes | Pixie: Daughter of Blue Beetle and Faerie. Corazon inherited her mother's Metahuman powers. She joined the Titans after Robert reached out to her. She seems to have a crush on him, but doesn't know if he returns her feelings (spoiler: he does but is shy).

Steven Logan-Stone | Animorph: Middle child and only son of Beast Boy & Cyborg. Steve was originally a lone wolf until him and Mar'i crossed paths again after so long. He has the power to transform into robotic versions of animals.

Cade Wilson | Blackbird: Eldest child and son of Ravager and Raven. They actually wanted to join the new Titans when they first formed, but Rose felt like their powers weren't ready and that they needed some more training. Now that Cade has full control of their powers, they're a member and one of the most powerful ones.

Cade has a lot of Raven's powers including her magical abilities.

Augustina Thomas | Sunbeam: Daughter of the Signal and Fatale. Unlike her brother Blackout, Augustina chose to join the Titans since her and Wade Yates, the new leader of the Watchers, don't really get along. She inherited the light half of Duke's Metahuman powers.

Ceridian | Aqualad: Son of Tempest and Dolphin. He is the prince of Cerdia and next in line for the throne after his father. Ceridian joined the Titans to further establish peaceful relations with his nation and the surface world. He has the same Atlantean powers as his parents do.

Rhea Beecher-Duncan | Papillon: Daughter of Bumblebee and Vox/Herald/Guardian. Her and Steven are good friends so when he joined the team, she also joined so he wouldn't feel like the lonely new guy. Rhea has a supersuit that allows her to reduce her size, fly, and use the scales for various offensive and defensive purposes.
