thought of a little scenario that idk if I'll ever implement into one of my stories but it's too silly to not write down

anyway Hunter gets out of the shower at my place and he's all clean and smells nice and it drives me crazy (like usual ��) so I start giving him smooches and whatnot

and then at some point it basically goes like this

me: mmm babe I love how you smell right now 🥰

Hunter: of course you do, it's your soap 😏

me: I love how you're ok smelling like flowers and other girly smells 🥰

Hunter: ...?? what?? flowers are "girly"?? since when?? and why??? they're just plants???

and he continues to be confused and can't fathom the idea of a freaking plant having an assigned gender association, literally wtf

he ends up casually bringing it up to the others and Echo absolutely loses it, he goes on a long-winded rant about it and refuses to accept that; Wrecker also thinks it's stupid, and Tech pretty much has the same thinking as Hunter where he's genuinely confused on why anyone would assign the scent of a plant to a particular gender LOL

Omega then makes it her mission to fill the Marauder with flowers the next time they go to a green planet to appease her brothers' frustration (which I will gladly help with) 😌

Over the last few weeks, I have been spending my time working on my save file because I'm gearing up to start a Let's Play series on Youtube. As I've been building the stories for the characters in my save file, I started thinking about the Sims universe as a whole and how I want my Sims to travel between worlds. It got me thinking that some worlds feel like they're just a short 4-hour car ride away, while others feel like you'd need a plane to get there.

So, I decided to map out my sims universe. I got a lot of inspiration from different Reddit posts as well as the EA descriptions of each world. This has been so helpful for me as I plan out the buildings I want to place in each world. It has been so helpful with finding inspiration for creating builds. I hope you can find this helpful too.

I'm really happy about my Sims universe turned out. I'd love to hear what you think about it! Are there any worlds you disagree with me on? Also, when are we getting an African world, EA?

North America

New Crest reminds me of suburban New York, mostly because you can still the city skyline from there.

Brindleton Bay reminds me so much of New England.

San Myshuno is quite obviously New York.

Willow Creek gives me a New Orleans vibe.

Magnolia Promenade is somewhere in the south because of the name (magnolias grow in the mostly in Southern United States - Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina). I placed it close to Willow Creek for story telling purposes.

Chestnut Ridge gives me a strong Texas vibe.

Del Sol Valley is undoubtedly Los Angeles.

Oasis Springs I think of as Palm Springs with the desert and all, also the Langraabs live there.

San Sequoia I think of as San Francisco mainly because of the Golden Gate Bridge and Bay area, I have all my tech gurus living up there.

Strangerville is straight up Area 51 with all the weird stuff going on there.

Granite Falls gives me a National Park vibe, so I chose my favorite, Yellowstone which is mostly in Wyoming.

Copperdale seems to be in the rocky mountains, I placed it in Montana because of the old mining town description. Butte, Montana used to be a huge mining town.

Moonwood Mill reminds so much of the thick woods in the Pacific West somewhere Washington or Oregon.

Glimmerbrook I imagine is close to Moonwood Mill and the witches and the werewolves are always beefing.

Evergreen Harbor gives me a strong Pacific West port city like Vancouver (I know Vancouver is not in the US, but you get the drift).

Sulani reminds me so much of Hawaii, the beautiful beaches, volcanoes, and mountains and the culture portrayed by Sulanians.

Ciduad Enamorada reminds me so much of Mexico City, Mexico.

South America

Selvadorara gives a strong Amazonian vibe so I placed it in Brazil.

Europe

Britchester because of Britchester uinversity reminds me of Universtiy of Oxford, or University of Cambridge so I placed it in the UK.

Henford-on-Bagley gives off a strong English country vibe so I placed it South Central England.

Windenburg gives off a German vibe because of the style of buildings placed in the world.

Forgotten Hollow I think of as somewhere in Transylvania so I placed it in Romania.

Tartosa is undoubtedly mediterranean so I placed it in Italy.

Asia

Tomarang with the tuk tuks and the tiger sanctuary reminds me of Indonesia.

Mt. Komorebi, my absolute favorte world, is Japan. I can't wait to visit someday.

P.S. Batuu is not included in my sims universe because it is in space, I don't anticipate my sims ever traveling there, but if I ever feel otherwise, I will include it in here.

A/N: Listen yall English is my second language and I have not written anything since fanfiction.net was popular. It's also not proofread because I got too shy to show it to my partner/proofreader. Sooooo yeah have fun with that.

Melissa while not keen on newer staff surprisingly didn't hate the recent hire for Abbott. Primarily hired on as the new librarian you had started to double as IT after fixing a couple of computers in the library. Melissa admired that you were willing to do two jobs for the price of one, or at least that's what she told herself she hadn't been actively seeking you out for any other reason than to fix technology and library-related things.

Melissa walked into the breakroom and took her usual seat by Barbara "Hey Barb have you seen our tech guru, I need her to take a look at my projector, blew a fuse or somethin'" Barbara just raises her eyebrows and gives Melissa a knowing look, "Seems like you've been looking for Ms.L/N more and more often as of late" she has no time to respond before you walk in and head straight for the coffee, grumbling about a lack of sleep.

"Woah there hon get into a fight this morning, ya look a bit crazy" Melissa jokes. You turn to look at her in your half-asleep state, gaze lingering for longer than usual, not something that slips past Melissa "Not quite I stayed up later than I usually do, you know night owl and all that" Melissa narrowed her eyes, you hoped she wouldn't push further, the last thing you want is for her to figure out you've been preparing for a gig with your new band. Not that it was bad but you just felt it was dorky and you would rather not have your crush or coworkers comment on it.

"Well some of us were gonna go out for drinks today I was hoping you'd come with" Melissa could feel a blush creeping up her neck, she'd tried inviting you out very casually a couple of times but besides the occasional lunch, you seemed to always be busy. You bit your lip flattered that the redheaded beauty was inviting you herself. But with a gig today you definitely couldn't cancel, you attempt to come up with a decent excuse but in between a lack of sleep and brain cells in the morning you don't come up with much "I'd love to Melissa really but I.... uhh have a thing, after school rain check?" You flash an apologetic smile and are out before she can say anything else.

This put Melissa in a sour mood for the rest of the day, it didn't help that when lunch came around you were nowhere to be found. Melissa frowned maybe you didn't actually like her, she felt like a fool. Maybe she was too old for you and she read too far into your exchanges taking them as flirty, all of a sudden all she could feel were her insecurities swallowing her up.

Barbara ever in tune with her work wife set her book down and cleared her throat. "Girl, what in the Lord's name has got you in such a foul mood?" Melissa huffs and shifts in her chair, "Nothing, absolutely nothing is wrong why would anything be wrong I am living the dream Barb" She knew better than to lie to her closest friend but she hated being this vulnerable. Barb wasn't blind she had been watching both of you closely noticing how you started to buy Melissa pastries from her favorite shop and how she in turn began to bring you some of her famous baked ziti. "Maybe you should ask her when she's free, it seems she's nearly always busy on weekends perhaps she's free other days?"

"I don't know what you're talking about"

Barbara shakes her head, "Look I'm just saying that maybe you should look into it, rather than assuming Y/N doesn't like you" Melissa's eyes go wide "Keep your voice down" She didn't want to embarrass herself over some crush or cause Y/N any issues. "Whatever the deal is doesn't matter I do not want to think about it, I just wanna make it through the rest of the day and get to that happy hour"

As if things couldn't get worse, Jacob picked the happy hour joint and it was not their usual spot. Something about broadening horizons and how live music would really benefit them. Melissa didn't like it nothing was wrong with their usual bar and she highly doubted whatever Jacob had dragged them into would be worth it but he offered to pay for drinks and that was good enough for her. Jacob skipped over to their table nearly missing the chair "Wow look at us I love it when the whole Abbott family goes out for drinks, I wish Y/N was here though she's been with us for a while and hasn't gone to any of the happy hours" at the mention of your name Melissa perked up and curiosity got the better of her. "What do you guys think she does, seems like she always leaves right as school ends on the weekends"

"My vote is on stripper" everyone turns to Ava, "what have you seen what she wears it's all baggy clothing we don't know what she has under that"

"I'm not super sure about that, what about a part-time emt that could be it, maybe she's got some scars she's covering up from saving lives" Janine ever the optimist would assume this with little to no context.

Ava pretty convinced she was right follows up "Or she could be one of those strippers that go to your house dressed as an EMT for a lil surprise"

The conversation goes back and forth for a while, meanwhile, Melissa nurses a beer still miffed over your rejection. Barbara notices her friend's discomfort and looks around the bar to see if there is a pool table to distract Melissa. Instead, her eyes land on the stage right as the band starts playing.

"Good god, what is she wearing?" Barbara's shock has everyone at the table looking in the same direction even Melissa looked over confused by the outburst. Come to find you're on the stage concentrated on your instrument, ready for your queue to begin. Gone was the usual oversized sweater and baggy pants instead u wore a long-sleeved crop top and the tightest jeans Melissa had ever seen. She felt silly but she couldn't stop staring at your hands. Your sleeves were rolled up to the elbow revealing defined forearms and deft fingers running across a bass. Even from a distance, she could see you were very good at what you were doing resulting in not-so-tame mental images of your hands undressing her, holding her down, wrapped around her thighs - Jesus she was like a teenager again getting hot and bothered by just the thought of you. Ava must have caught her gawking and leaned over "If you don't get a move on and take her out, I will cuz damn who knew our librarian was this hot"

Melissa glares at Ava has everyone figured her out, she turns back to see your performance not wanting to miss any more of it. She'd never seen you like this so casual, relaxed, and all-around sexy. She wonders if this is why you always left so soon being part of a band would make sense but why wouldn't you say anything, she hopes this is the case failing to push her former insecurities back down. Your band wasn't a fancy ordeal you went up on stage and played some of your songs but mostly did covers. Still, Melissa couldn't take her eyes off you and it only got worse when you started to sing yourself, she was pretty sure you couldn't see her or any of the Abbott staff but the way you were facing and the suggestive lyrics had her feeling like maybe just maybe you could be directing them at her.

As soon as the performance came to a close Janine and Jacob cheered and drew the attention of everyone in the bar including Y/N and the band.

Welp so much for not getting found out. Jay leans over and taps you with a drumstick "Yo Y/N do they know you?" You look back over at your coworkers hoping not to see your favorite redhead, indeed luck was not on your side as you caught her eye. "Uhh yeah those are my coworkers, I'll catch up with yall later"

Melissa looked mad, not sure what else to do, and feeling like you may as well accompany the embarrassment with a drink you headed to the bar and waved her over. "Double shot of tequila and a Corona please" The bartender nods and pours the shot following it up with a swift opening of your beer.

"Suprised you drink considering you've always said no to it" You look over at Mel, she's extremely close due to the crowded bar top and you can feel her press up against you causing your head to spin. You pick up your shot and down it finding comfort in the heat you feel in your chest.

"Yeah I haven't had the time to go out since I've been filling in for the band, I'm sorry" At the mention of that Melissa visibly relaxes, gone was the anger from before, maybe there was still a chance this could go well? "You know you could've just said you had to go practice for your band" she almost sounded shy, "I would've understood if you were busy" You look over at the redhead suprised to see her so vulnerable.

Reaching over you tuck a stray hair behind her ear, "It's silly didn't want you to know because it made me feel like a dork, I've been trying so hard to impress you it felt like a step backward to tell you I have band practice" Melissa feels a blush creep up and sneaks a glance at you. At that almost confession, the proximity between you two, and the sexiest outfit she's ever seen she once again felt like some goddam horny teenager. Capitalizing on the brief liquid courage of the shot you figured why the hell not make a move. In a burst of confidence, you lean into Melissa and pull her by the collar of her leather jacket, still distracted by the tight jeans she barely realizes what you're attempting to do. The kiss is tame, impossibly soft, gentle, and over way too soon for Melissa's liking.

"I.....oh my god I'm so sorry I should have asked" Melissa was stunned and taking her silence as a negative you start to freak out "I've just been wanting to do that for a while and I've wanted to ask you out but you make me so goddam nervous an-" it's then Melissa who can't help herself she pulls you back in by the waist for another kiss, this one was rougher, hungrier she felt a roller coaster of emotions today and this felt like the only outlet. She pulls back to look at you with that trademark Schemmenti smirk "Feelings mutual hon"

You feel your heart swell at her confession,

"Well to make up for all the missed outings how do you feel about going out for dinner tomorrow?"

Melissa leans in very close for her answer "Hon with those pants I'll follow you anywhere"

i feel like i def write lots oh hcs about him (wrio being scottish, or that he's actually well read, etc etc) but yeah i think he still has great potential to be explored despite the fact that i can't really see his role expands after archon quest (with the exception of maybe a quest in relation to, say, regrator.)

also he seems to uphold some sort of agreement with callas and i feel like the last chance for hoyo to reveal it is by adding it into clorinde's sq/character story.

i have a few thoughts about why he loves tea so much tho. i def think sige 'i am fontaine's esteemed beauty guru' winne would Not want him to drink coffee ofc, but also it's just not as addictive as coffee and i can imagine relying on a caffeinated drink while you used to have to pay for a glass of water wouldnt be a good idea for survival. like ofc he doesn't have to worry about that now. he, if i assume right, could be the richest person in fontaine, but yeah it does become a habit i guess. it's good to constantly keep himself warm while he's living under the sea with a cryo vision without having to worry about upsetting his stomach

(side note my pet peeves is when people make an au where wrio is like a dumb jock because like where did you even get the idea that wriothesley is dumb? he is canonically a self made tech tycoon?? make it make sense???)

This challenge is only five generations and not composed of my all-time favs, but these were the shows I could come up with plots for. If people like this one, I’d consider making a part 2 though!! -Honestly she was a very easy kid, she loved being outside and she loved her mom's obsession with frogs. She wasn't a particularly artsy kid, but has always loved singing since she was a toddler. The little jam sessions she had with her mother Alice was always adorable. She was a good big sister too, she didn't always get Watney, but the two were very close.

-When Olympia was a teenager she wound up developing a crush on a boy at her school, his name was Isaac and honestly he was incredibly gay and uninterested in her romantically. But the two became Best Friends nonetheless. For years and years Oly viewed him as the platonic love of her life. The two did everything together. His prom date bailed on him? Well the two would just skip prom together and go swimming at the lake. Oly accidentally got knocked up with twins? He's moving in to help her out. They have the sweetest friendship. The girls honestly view him as their dad more than their actual one.

-Looping back to that night they ditched Prom though, both have grown up in the sticks and don't necessarily have the best sense of what is and isn't dangerous. The two often got caught doing stupid shit together just cuz they thought it might be fun. Prom night was one of those times where they were out somewhere they shouldn't have been. It was a beautiful full moon, and unfortunately for them they weren't the only one's wandering the woods. 

-Only Olympia wound up receiving a cursed bite though and for that she's always been thankful, the very first werewolf trait she got was the sad one lol. She isn't particularly fond of her new way of existing causing many emotional breakdowns and eventually moving to the very edge of town so that she wouldn't be a "danger" to any of those who cared for her.

-technically the challenge has Mars gen as a tech guru, but I imagine Oly just does that to get by. Her true passion in life has always been and will always be animals. It's not a career option in the Sims but just know in my heart her real career is "dog trainer"

-Recently this goofy little horse man moved to town, and its a small town where everyone knows everything. So it wasn't long before Chirimoya was introducing Shayne to her daughter. Olympia was immediately smitten with his horse Sugarbush, and he was immediately fond of how her whole demeanor seemed to soften as she made silly jokes to his horse. He's honestly super soft on her in general, the two only just started dating and this is Olympia first REAL relationship, and I love how gentle he seems with her. Also how contradictory their aesthetics are. He's got the nerdy but nice step-dad vibe down perfectly. Stormi likes him and Gaelle is indifferent. So long as he's nice to their mom they don't really mind this new addition to their lives.

TBB headcanons: Body Stuff

these are ones that I know will cause controversy haha. I’ve already touched on some physical traits, but this is more of how each of them takes care of and manages their bodies as opposed to natural things

that being said, here’s some headcanons about each of the boys’ hygiene, food/clothing preferences, and the like:

Hunter

Only has half his face tattooed; he originally wanted to tattoo his entire face, but was persuaded out of it by the artist (he regrets it very much, not because he thinks it looks stupid, but because he doesn’t like his own face) 

Favorite workout routine is jogging (he does this EVERY morning after breakfast) and hand-to-hand/martial arts 

Doesn’t like to shower; when he does, it’s water only, no soap; if he has to use soap, it’s one product for everything (not like a 3 in 1, I mean like he washes everything with the same bar of soap like an idiot)

Low level of hygiene overall, literally smells like dirt and sweat 99% of the time (and usually some other type of flora that only Tech can identify) 

Mostly eats bland food; can’t tolerate things that are too spicy, sweet, sour, etc 

Has good rhythm and can dance really well, but he doesn’t like doing it in front of others (dude could be on SYTYCD and win fr; he’s a DDR and Just Dance master, and nobody knows it)

Doesn’t get drunk easily (he’s built a tolerance to it); when he is drunk, he’s overly smug and flirtatious and is less in control of his emotions (easily gets jealous, overly excited, actually cries at things) 

Dislikes his own appearance, which is why he doesn’t care how dirty he gets or what he looks like; will bluescreen if someone compliments his appearance 

Hates wearing shirts with buttons (can only tolerate his blacks cause he’s used to them); literally could care less about what he wears, he just wants it to be comfy and not too flashy (please do not perceive him)

Tech

No tattoos, and if he did get one, he’d do it himself cause he doesn’t trust anyone like that (except maybe Crosshair) 

Doesn’t workout much, he believes it’s better to strengthen his mind, plus he gets good arm workouts from all the mechanical work he does

Has a very specific shower routine and takes almost as long as Wrecker because of it (washes his hair twice fr)

Is extremely hygienic about himself personally, but not anything else (keeps things like lotion and chapstick in his pouches); doesn’t mind getting messy, but he has a “beauty” routine that he keeps to

Not that picky about food, but doesn’t like things that are too sweet 

Terrible rhythm, please don’t ask him to dance, he can do the Robot and that’s IT 

Doesn’t get drunk easily; is the designated driver in most instances; when he is drunk, he just rambles about random things, sometimes in different languages 

Loves getting compliments of all kinds, especially his own appearance (he has a beauty routine for a reason) 

Enjoys dressing up and being fashionable, knows quite a bit about fashion (dude knows color theory like he made it himself)

Wrecker

Has “99″ in Aurebesh tattooed on both upper biceps, practically on the shoulders 

Does all kinds of exercise and has a rigorous workout routine, but his fav is just lifting weights

Takes extra long in the shower cause he likes to play in the water; soap is usually only used if he sees dirt on himself

Really low level of hygiene, a stinky stinky man; vaguely smells sweet and sugary sometimes 

Will eat literally anything, but mostly loves sweet things; not a huge fan of sour or bitter 

Has good rhythm and can dance pretty well, is just a bit clumsy about it due to his size

Gets drunk pretty easily and just becomes a more exaggerated version of himself; starts randomly singing while drunk 

Thinks he’s hot stuff and loves getting complimented on his appearance 

Likes wearing clothes that show off his muscles; also absolutely loves cute things and isn’t ashamed to do/wear girly things (will get irritated if he’s teased for it though)

Crosshair

Only has the crosshair tattoo on his face; cried from the pain when he got the tattoo, but only Hunter knows that (and hasn’t told anybody ever)

Doesn’t exercise much, but he does a lot of stretches to keep his body limber (more of a yoga guy fr)  

Takes a normal amount of time in the shower, nothing fancy (the soap needs to be good soap though)

Good hygiene, dislikes smelling bad for too long and would 100% wear strong cologne all the time if he could (even if Hunter couldn’t stand it LOL) 

Loves spicy food (could eat a ghost pepper and not flinch), is fine with everything else (although he can’t tolerate sour very well, but he won’t admit it even though everyone already knows) 

Has decent rhythm and can dance, he just looks really lanky while doing so (more of a ballet dancer than anything)

Doesn’t get drunk easily, but goes down the quickest after Wrecker; when he is drunk, he gives zero fricks about anything and just lets loose (and regrets it later) 

Is very particular about his appearance, but believes he looks good no matter what (he made do with the burn after Bracca, but it greatly upset him the first time he saw it); welcomes compliments about his appearance and absolutely agrees with them 

Loves looking well put-together and fashionable; secretly wishes he could wear nicer clothes all the time (someone get this man in a suit PRONTO plz)

Echo

No tattoos, but he’s strongly considered getting one of the handprint like on his old armor 🥺

Doesn’t exercise as much as he used to, but he likes going on jogs with Hunter and will join Wrecker during his workouts sometimes (but at a MUCH lower level LOL)

Takes a bit longer in the shower cause he only got one hand and washing prosthetics ain’t easy

Fantastic hygiene, very much likes to be clean, hates bad smells of all kinds (srsly how was this man able to live with TBB for so long OMG)
