Ooh, it really depends on what kind of fics you want and what kind of ships you like and which you prefer to avoid. There's a lot out there but it's been a long time since most of the fics were written, so my memory has deteriorated a little...

There are my fics which I would recommend depending on what you're looking for, but assuming you want me to vouch for someone else, and assuming you're looking for negitoro, which is what I'm all about, and finally assuming you'd prefer complete fics...

Jak656 has an amazing fic full of feels called Immunity. Anchored in reality but deals in the themes of disease and features hospitals pretty predominantly. Definitely worth it though. Stellar feels.

Anything by Gray Voice, to be honest. Amazing author, go check him out. I recommend you start with Postage!, if just to get that classic in the books. It's a cute fic all around. Of Common Blood is another favorite of mine, though it's more historical.

Fliers has a couple of great fics: I recommend Cellphones in particular. Mostly realistic with some dashes of surrealism/fantasy.

Uncharted Lands by teamJNPR is awesome if you prefer fantasy stuff.

Beep by AirbornAnomaly is awesome. Supermarket meeting, add a little crossover, and it's just a really solid fic all around.

These are all fanfiction dot net works, by the way. That's where I did most of my reading over the years. And they're fics that I remember despite the test of time, so they've definitely made a lasting impression on me! There's more out there of course, some that I've definitely forgotten to mention, some that are long incomplete, and others that have since been deleted entirely (RIP...), but I feel this is a nice little collection to start! I hope this helps!
