So… I went and wrote a RWBY fan fiction on Wattpad and been posting chapters for it on a weekly basis. It’s my first attempt at writing a fanfic. If anyone is interested and wants to give it a read, I’d greatly appreciate it.

It’s set in post series, so after Salem is defeated and Remnant has been saved. And Blake & Yang, now married, want to start a family.

The canon ships in this are BlakeXYang (obviously), RenXNora and RubyXOscar.

As of right now, there are 6 chapters out, with Chapter 7 coming soon and more in the following weeks.

one of the worst arguments for bb/white rose that have been around for a while

its the argument that since team jnpr are paired with their partners renora and arkos the same has to happen with team rwby when no that just isnt true just because a  team jnpr ( that is has a equal   gender ration  with 2 pairs of  partner pairs that were m/f  meaning two het ships were made

) doesnt mean that team rwby an all female team has to end up with their partners its not homophobic or bad for that to not happen and instead for them to be paired with people outside of the team etc  ( this remains true even in the scenario where neo joins team jnpr and silent knight happens   just because the m/f pairs for jnpr got together doesnt mean the same has to happen for team rwby  ( to be frank for bb we all know my stance is that it is forced directino change where they threw away the years of teasing mutual attraction and development (which is what is actually important )  to force in bb all ofa sudden in  arguably v7  or / v6 finale at best ( nothing there was inherently romantic though you could say they intended it to be romantic hints

. (blake and yang were shown as nothing but friends beforehand blake caring about yang doesnt equal romantic feelings   

bb hasnt earned the payoff or the treatment in show during v7 ( where they got compared to renora a ship that was actively teased from the start in v1 ( them not getting much screentime or any focus doesnt change the fact they have been teased  which was an argument someone in rwbytalks tried to make claiming you can argue that it only began to be teased in v4 when not really

How is Boop not evidence? It’s true that it’s extra material, something that isn’t in the show proper. But unless you have paperwork or a written statement or some video from some rooster teeth member (that actually gets to make decisions regarding rwby) saying that boop isn’t canon, then it is.

If you mean that the song itself does not explicitly state that it’s about Ren and Nora, then you’d be wrong.

Here are some lyrics of the song that I think are quite relevant.

1) “Hold Magnhild, I think I’m gonna faint”

I shouldn’t have to explain this first part. Magnhild is Nora’s weapon. Who the hell else would have the weapon in their possession.

2) “I just bite my tongue and when I want to say I love you I say, Boop.”

Well we know this is about Nora AND Ren now. Because the only person who has said “boop” is Nora. And who she said it to was Ren.

If you’re looking for evidence that is not Boop, then we’ve got this from Nora’s side. From a post of mine:

“1)This point is pretty minor, but this is what first caused me to raise my eyebrows in suspicion. In “The First Step” I had been content to just see these two as friends, but then, Nora says the fated words: “Well, not ‘together-together’… Not that I’m not saying that you’re not handsome; you are handsome, but that’d just be weird, right?”In case you still don’t understand, I’ve bolded the prove-y parts. There was no reason for her to say any of this. She could have left it as “What are the odds we’d still be together?” Ren knows exactly what she meant by that, he wouldn’t have corrected her. Now that she’s realized the implications of what “together” meant, she feels the need to correct herself. After that she’s just fumbling for words, and reveals more about how she feels about Ren. She didn’t have to say anythinggg. But she did, and now we know that she thinks Ren is handsome (well, duh). If her feelings for him were completely platonic, she wouldn’t have said anything like that. There’d be no reason for her to. Like seriously if I was writing two characters that were only meant to be platonic, I would never write a scene like that. The implication of those words are too strong.” I can understand feeling fuzzy about Ren’s side of this, as he is quite quiet and subtle. But to quote myself again from this post:

“On to Ren now. His feelings on the matter are a bit more complicated, since he’s typically very quiet and composed. We really shouldn’t take this to mean that he doesn’t feel anything though. I can be quite introverted myself (I’m somewhat good at hiding it), and anyone who is introverted can attest to the fact that silence doesn’t mean that we don’t care. The tricky part is that all of Ren’s thoughts and feelings are in his head. We can’t really tell what he’s thinking or feeling because he doesn’t say or act out much. A lot of the stuff he does is going to be subtle. Anything regarding his feelings towards Nora is going to be even more subtle because he has a reason to hide it.” “Now my friends, I didn’t bring you here to this lovely post to just be all “I guess Ren loves Nora bc I dunno”. I’ve got my reasons.” “We were given evidence in a conversation that was prompted by dear ol’ Jaune in “Burning the Candle”. Jaune asks “Well, how did you and Nora… y'know…” He clearly thinks that Ren and Nora are a thing (when the oblivious guy can figure this out u have a problem). Ren picks up on this quickly. And you know what he does? He in fact does not, calmly correct Jaune like a person that has no attraction to their friend would do. He stammers. Lie Ren. The basic epitome of cool and collected, stammers like an idiot. Umm whaAT?? He never directly responds to Jaune’s question. Nora does it (with another use of “not together-together”) And after that, he changes the subject! (”Jaune, what is this all about?”). Why would he do that if he only had platonic feelings for Nora? There’s literally no reason for it unless….. maybe….? He has…Romantic feelings for Nora….????” If you don’t like renora as a ship, that’s fine. You don’t have to like it.

 )  or treated as something obvious and the justification that there were moments  between them we didnt see is ridiculous for what we see is important because its a show its their job to build up to a ship ( if its true they did plan it from the start they didnt build it up from the start 

and should have just thrown out that plan for blacksun like how the writers of how i met your mother should have  gotten rid of the original finale  due to the finale no longer fitting the characters     who in the mean time received development which made it no longer fitting  ( the how i met your mother show is a live action and they prepared the final part of the finale  years in advance due to not wanting the kids to suddenly grow older)

if say in a show there are two pairs of partners ( not romantic partners but part of a team  ( one pair is m/f and one pair is say involving two guys  pairing just because the m/f pair got together doesnt mean the same sex one has to get together  it doesnt make it wrong for them to get romantic partners with girls outside of the team

someone may argue that them getting together ( the two guys) would have been believable  but that doesnt mean they have to make it happen

(as long as they dont build it up and then suddenly throw it away to make another ship which didnt get any buildup  recieve the payoff while having the characters treat it as “we all know” etc there isnt a problem
