I don't know if anyone else has seen a rainbow while flying their ikran, but here's my Sarentu OC and her ikran Telisi hoping to get to that place that we dreamed of once in a lullaby.

A/N: Sorry this took a while, should I introduce another clans mentioned in the video game? Sorry if it feels short.

Kiri had taken you to one of the labs in the High Camp, so that you could meet her mother. Turns out that she was adopted by the Sully's, but she still knows about her biological mother. After you had put on a mask that allowed you to breath the human air, you were then pulled to a water tank, which contained her mother. "That your mom?" you asked, while looking at the what seemed to be sleeping na'vi. "Yeah, she's gone, but not completely" Kiri said, while climbing on top of the tank and sat on it, while looking down at her mom. You couldn't help but notice how much a like they looked. She must really be her mom.
But you also realized who it was. "Is that Dr. Grace Augustine?" you asked, making Kiri look at you with a look of surprised. How did you know her mom's name? "Yeah, do you know my mom?" she asked, now curious. "Not personally, but I've seen her a couple times with my teacher Miss Cameron" you mentioned. "She'd teach other kids, we'd refer to them as the 'Outside' Kids since they weren't kept in the building like I was." You said, seen how Kiri somewhat frowned, she had hopped that you would know something about her mom. "I wish I knew something." You said with a bit of comfort. Kiri only smiled while looking down at her mom.

You'd be bonding with a dire horse. They were huge, they almost scared you due to their size. Neteyam had guided you towards a horse, it was a male station. He was busy eating some kind of honey like substance from some flowers. Neteyam then called the creature over, the stallion gladly went to him. Neteyam then handed you a yovo fruit. "What's this for?" you asked, looking at the fruit in hand. "It's for the horse, to get him to like you a bit." He explained, then horse was now facing you, sniffing the air towards you. "Give him the fruit." He said, you then brought the fruit up to the horse.
The stallion gladly ate the fruit from your hand, you felt the juices getting on your palm as well as the horse's licks on your hand. You lightly giggled by the horse eagerly licking your palm. Neteyam only watched, in awe. He felt a warm feeling on his chest watching you interacting with the dire horse, he softly smiled by the sight. Then he spoke. "Alright, now mount him." He said, you wiped your palms on the cloth from your loincloth in attempt to clean them. You then moved to the horse's side, then you jumped up to him. You struggled a bit, but manage to get on his back, sitting up straight. "Make the bond with the horse." He said, you then grabbed your queue along with the horse's antenna like queue. Slowly you brought your both your pink tendrils together and have them hug one another. The horse then let out loud neigh and stumbled around. "Crap." You squealed, hugging onto the horse neck tightly to not fall. Feeling yourself panic.
Neteyam got closed, keeping the dire horse on the spot and prevented him from moving anymore. "Now, relax your body." He instructed. You nodded, letting go of the horse's neck and sat up straight. You took a deep breath, trying to relax yourself and clear your mind. "Now, focused on feeling what he is feeling. Feel his mind, his body, his legs." He continued to instruct you on what to do. You did what you could, inhaling and exhaling, keeping your mind blank. Trying to bond with the horse. It seemed to be working, you could feel yourself bonding with the horse, as if you felt his mind, body and most importantly his legs. You couldn't help but let out a small smile, by the little achievement. Neteyam couldn't help but smile by this too.
He moved away from the horse, giving him enough space to go through. "Now, instruct him to go forward." He told you. You opened your eyes, looking forward, to see where to guide the horse to. "Forward?" you said, almost confused and a now nervous. Without a warning, the horse then galloped forward. Making you squeal out a bit by his sudden outburst. Without a warning, the horse went a bit faster, then you fell off the horse. Your queue unlatched off from the horse's. You fell on a mud puddle. Neteyam couldn't help but let out a small laugh and going over to you. "Are you alright?" he asked. You then got up on your hands and knees. "Never better." You responded almost sarcastically.
He then leaned down and helped you up, not minding touching the mud on your arms. Looking down, half of your body was covered in mud, the side of your face also had mud and it also got in your mouth. You stock out your tongue and leaned the mud out of it. "This isn't the first time I'd eat dirt." You mentioned, Neteyam couldn't help but continue to chuckle as you tried to clean the mud off yourself. Neteyam then stopped and leaned a bit closer to your face, not too close, just enough to look at your features properly. "Is this a birthmark?" He asked. You then touched the part of your face that didn't have mud on it. You felt the small mark on your left cheek.
"Oh, yeah." You responded almost shyly, by how close he was and how he manage to see the small birthmark on my face. Neteyam only smiled, seen how your cheeks had turned purple. "Go get yourself cleaned up and we'll give it another go." He said kindly. "Alright boss." You replied, walking over to the water fall.
Tumblr media
You and Neteyam were back in the village, your whole body felt sore. This was your first time in fifteen years that you felt like that, you were used to it, but everything just felt new. You had to go get checked, you were recovering well, thanks to the fresh air and keeping yourself distracted helped. After your check up, you went back to your small corner. You sat down under your hammock, with your notebook in hand and your pencil.
'Today was interesting, it was my first day in training. This was a bit more difficult then the training was used to. Instead of trying to drive one of the vehicles or air crafts, I rode a horse. A huge one, it was almost as if, it was right for me to be riding that animal, despite not being used to it. It was if I was born for it. Not only that, but Neteyam has a lot of patience, it's almost weird. I'm used to being told that I needed to learn faster and that fast results were needed, things here are a bit odd. I'm used to getting yelled at for not 'trying' hard enough or getting it the first time. I felt somewhat relifed that he didn't yell at me. Hopefully I get the hang of this new lifestyle of mine or just get used to living like the na'vi..'
When you were done, you place your pencil on the last written page and closed the notebook. You then saw Kiri and Tuk approaching you. "Hey y/n!" Tuk said happily, as if she was glad in seen you. "Hey." You responded. "We wanted to know if you wanted to come eat dinner with us?" Kiri asked, before you could answer, Tuk began to plead with you. "Please will you come? Please please please!" she begged like the kid that she was. You couldn't say no, so you nodded. "Yeah, I'll come if that's not issue." You responded, Tuk had jumped in exitment, seen that you agreed.
You were now sitting in the Sully's hut, everyone was sitting in a circle, you were squished between Tuk and Kiri who had been telling you what things that they were eating were. You were new to this, normally you'd eat the food provided by the RDA, which was terrible. You looked down at the huge leaf which had white bugs that were curled up. You grabbed one, examining it first, not sure if you have to remove something or just bite it. "Its Teylu, it may look weird, but it taste good once you try it" Tuk said, you nodded, still looking at the bugs on the bug in your hand. You then just went for it, taking a bite. It felt crunchy, you face scrunched up a bit, but you continued to chew tasting both the sour and gooey stuff. "It's not that bad, taste better then that awful stuff I've ate before." You commented, making Tuk laugh. "You can say that again." Jake chimed in, eating his Teylu.
It was silent at first until Lo'ak had decided to ask a question. "Soo.. Y/n, can you tell us more about school?" He asked. This made everyone's attention to you, they too wanted to learn what stuff you did at school. "I mean well. I learned how to read, write, along with other things such as math and science." You said. They just stayed quiet and listened, eating their food. "What it fun at all?" Tuk asked out of curiosity. "Depends. It was fine, but I didn't like having to stay locked up in a building almost twenty four seven. Besides that, we were mostly taught about Military. Some wanted to be marines, others wanted to do air force." You said, then Jake asked. "Wait, so basically you were all being trained into being Soldiers?" He asked, he had a look of confusion but he also looked modified. "Yeah, they said that they wanted us to show an example to the Outsiders that they would work with the RDA." You explained.
Jake eyes widen, he knew what you meant by that. Your words didn't sound genuine. You sounded as if you were programed into saying that. It'd make sense since he had learned that you were in the RDA for a long time. "What if, the others didn't want to do military?" he now asked. "Well, we had a choice, we could either do military, be scientists or go work in the mines." You said, as if it was nothing. Jake only nodded, processing what you had finished saying. He didn't question any further, he just went back into eating his food. For the rest of the evening you had been telling them more the pros and cons about school to the kids. They had seemed very hooked while Jake and Neytiri only watched.
After dinner, you had gone back to your tent. While the Sully kids were getting ready to sleep. Jake had a lot on his mind, he was outside the hut, pacing around, thinking about what you had said to him. "Ma'Jake? What is wrong?" Neytiri asked her husband, she had finished putting the kids, specially Tuk who had a hard time going to sleep. Jake looked at his wife, his look had some concern. "I'm thinking about what Y/n said." He sighed, rubbing his forehead. "How so?" his wife asked him, wanting to hear his thoughts. "She..I don't know fully, but. It's obvious that she was brain washed into thinking way. Her and those other kids are obviously from other clans and were taken, but they were probably made to believe that the RDA had 'recused' them. I call that complete bullshit." He said to him.
Those words had made Neytiri go back to an old memory. It happened a while ago. She was still a child, she had heard that the Sky Demons had attacked the Tayrangi Clan when they still lived in the forest. She remembers how Ikeyni and Tsentey had arrived at the old Hometree, asking for help. She remembers seen their people crying in both pain and suffering. She had heard that they had set their home on fire and how some of the children had been taken, as well as some people getting killed. That was when she also learned that Ikeyni had also lost her daughter. She was too deep in thought that she didn't hear Jake calling to her. "Babe? Babe? Earth to Neytiri?" he said, getting her attention. His wife looked at him, she had a look of concern. "I know what you mean. Many years back, the Tayrangi clan got attacked a while back when they still lived deep in the forest. The Sky People had come to their land, taking most of the children and killed their families. Ikeyni and Tsentey had gone to home tree asking for help. It was sad to see, lots of people injured, some got burnt and their children got taken. I still remember the look of pain in both Ikeyni and Tsentey, they had lost their daughter." Neytiri explained.
Jake couldn't help but listen. I made sense on why Ikeyni did not hesitate and join in the battle of the Hallelujah Mountains. He understood her a bit more. "So, It's a possibility that one of this kids from y/n's class could possibly be Ikeyni's daughter?" He asked his mate. Neytiri nodded. "Possibly, but we won't know any time soon." She responded. Jake could only nod in understanding. He really hoped that you'd learn about your true origin, where you truly came from. He also hopped that the other kids would wake up so that they too learn the truth.
Tumblr media
It was a new day, you got ready for your training. You had change of clothes it was another top made from leaves and other raw materials. The loincloth was only a dark brown miniature like skirt. You were still trying to get used to these kinds of clothes, specially the loincloth, it was a bit uncomfortable, but you had to use these clothes. It almost felt like a requirement. Before you went with Neteyam, you went to check up on your classmates to see if their was any luck, but nothing. You could only hope that your classmates would be okay.
This time, you were going into the woods with Neteyam, who had been carrying a bow and a few arrows. "Have you ever used a weapon before?" Neteyam asked. "Um... I know a way around a gun, mainly a snipper rifle." You admitted, while you followed him, until you both stopped at a secluded area. "Hm, what is that used for?" he asked. "It's a gun used by Snipers. It's like a bow and arrow, but instead you're using a gun from a hidden distance." You explained. Neteyam just hummed. "We're you planning on being a Sniper?" he asked again, souding a bit confused by this 'Sniper' word, you nodded." Well, today you'll be learning how to use a bow" he said, motioning for you to get closer. Once close to him, he handed you the bow. He then proceeded to position you on how to hold the bow properly.
Neteyam handed you an arrow. Placing the feathered end on the string. "Pull" he instructed, then you pulled the arrow backwards on the string slowly. "Hold" he said, making you stop. Again, he preceded to fix your position, moving your arm which held the arrow a bit higher and placed a hand on your back to straighten it. "Keep your chest up and take a deep breath." He said, you followed orders. "Look at where you want the arrow to hit" he said, closely to you, almost whispering. You then looked over at him, seen how close he was to you. "Okay, let go" he said, you then let you, not looking at were the arrow hit.
"Not bad, but you still need more practice" he said turning to you, making you quickly turn away from him and look at the arrow, it had landed on a tree trunk, missing where you had wanted it to land on. You felt a bit embarrassed. For the rest of the time, Neteyam was teaching you how to properly used a bow. He was surprisingly patient, he didn't get mad whenever you'd miss your target or broke an arrow, you were used to getting scolded for the smallest thing. Your old peers wanted fast results and had a lot of expectations, this time your teacher seemed very patient.
After a while, your arms and back felt sore, same with your fingers. "You did good, still a bit more practice, but you're a fast leaner" Neteyam complemented. You felt a purple blush creep up on your cheeks. "Thank you, you're very good at teaching" you complemented back. Neteyam gave you a small genuine smile, which made your face heat up a bit and your tail slightly wag. "What else is there to do?" you asked. "Well, next you'll have to learn to get around the forest, basically you use all your five senses, but what's importantly is that you use your strength. In order to survive around here" he instructed.
Tumblr media
Once you had collected the bows and whatever arrows you had left, you had the job to carry them around, as a part of the training. You were learning how to climb trees and walking around thick branches. Neteyam moved fast, while you caught up to him. This felt like those obstacle courses back in the base, except these were bigger and very difficult to get around. You watched how Neteyam got a hold of a branch and with his whole body weight, he manage to swing himself to another branch. You stopped, hesitated to do what he did, not sure if you'd be able to that high and not fall.
Neteyam had stopped in his tracks, seen that you were still across the other branch. "Y/n! It's okay, just take a deep breath and use your strength!" he yelled. You looked at him, then back at the ground, seen how far you were. You took a deep breath, placing your bow and slung the quiver on your back, taking another deep breath, you ran towards the branch, and you jumped. You got a hold of it, even though your arms were sore, you still manage to pull your body weight over to the other thick branch. You let go of the branch and landed on one across the first.
You wobbled a bit but you manage to catch yourself, your breathing had quicken by the short moment, looking back at the previous branch you were once on. You sigh in relief, glad that you did it. "It wasn't so hard now was it?" Neteyam walked over to you with a small smile. "Yeah, I'll have to get used to that." You said in a chuckle. "What? They didn't teach you how to climb and jump from tree to tree?" he asked teasinly. "No actually, my training was done on the ground." You responded. "Alright, come on" Neteyam said, moving forward again, while you followed.
We continued to walk and swing onto branches, it was also part of my training. This was much harder then an obstacle course. That was more on the ground, this was high up in trees. If you fall, you could possible break a bone or something, because of how high it is. Its almost a ride or die type of situation. It got more difficult. As we ran through more branches, Neteyam then slung his bow over his chest and jumped off the branch. All you could do is just watch as he fell down. Gracefully sliding off the huge leaves. You sighed, also slipping the bow over your body and leaped off the branch.
You couldn't help but let out a small shrike, your body was hitting the leaves. You tried to slide down, but that didn't work how you planned. Finally after falling for a long time, you fell on your side onto a soft giant mushroom and rolled down to the ground. You quickly got up and dusted dirt off your body, along with leaves. Neteyam could only watched, with a bit of concern. "You alright?" he asked. You only nodded, taking some leaves off your hair. "Yup, I'm good." You responded, feeling a bit embarrassed for because of what he saw. He only nodded, but took the time you see if you had any small injuries. "Alright, let's just continued on ground, so that you don't get hurt." He said, as he picked up your bow and gave it to you. When you grabbed the thin wood, your fingers brushed off onto his. You couldn't help but look up at him, for a moment. You locked into each other's eyes. The small moment was cut short when you took your bow from his hands. "Alright, lets go." You said, awkwardly. Neteyam nodded, while clearing his throat. Both you and Neteyam began heading back to the high camp. In an awkward silence.

Women of Pandora week 2024
Day 2: leadership
Tumblr media
Ikeyni, Olo'eykte of the Tayrangi clan
@womenofpandoraweek
Side note: do you think Na'vi with other skin colors (referring to the greenish-blue Metkayina) were planned during Avatar 1? Jake goes around gathering all sorts of clans to help him fight and only blue-skinned Na'vi are visible.
It feels kinda weird to me that the same shade of blue is prevalent in 90% of the clans we see (including the recent Frontiers of Pandora game) and only the reef Na'vi (who obvs only showed up in Avatar 2) deviate from that. I haven't looked at the Avatar 3 leaks too much to avoid spoiling myself, but the ash people seem to have some kinda pale blue/purple/grey colour going on.
So circling back to my question: were different skin colors planned during Avatar 1 and just weren't featured or did James Cameron intentionally make the Metkayina/reef Na'vi (and only them) deviate from the same shade of blue we got used to?

Syawn: bonds beyond clans
Hellooooooooo everyone! here is another long awaited chapter! This one is focused on Lu'Lafyon, the oldest triplet. Hope you all enjoy this one!
Syawn series
-----------------------
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After many wars in the past, tragic loss and new bonds forming, many clans have become closer than ever. The center of all these bonds are the Omatikaya clan, and to be more specific is the ever growing sully family. Their bond ties deep with the Metkayina clan, the Olangi clan, the Anurai clan, and so many more. One of the many clans the Sully family is very close to is the Tayrangi clan. The Olo’eykte, the fearless warrior and wise leader, Ikeyni. She fought so many battles right beside Jake sully. She knows him and his extended family very well.
Dont think she is alone in leading her clan. Her mate and beloved, Tstentey assisted her. He holds not specific title. Not that he desired to. Simply being a ikran rider and teacher to the young is enough of a title for him. Of course he did participate in the war against the humans. Yet after that, he continued to live his humble life with ikeyni.
However.
When they received word of the miracle birth of three na’vi children born from the same mother at the same time, they had to go see. Be a witness of something that is sure to be a once in a lifetime opportunity. And meeting them face to face brought great joy to Ikenyi. Seeing life blossom after many losses was always a welcoming change.
Ikenyi and tentsey promised Jake sully and neytiri that they would vow to protect the triplets and that both would make a strong bond with them when they get older. Welcoming them to their clan should they like it. And it was a promise the couple would hold on. But among the three siblings, one of them would hold a unique bond with ikeyni. A bond she would treasure forever.
Tumblr media
The couple saw the children again 4 years later.  The Tayrangi clan were celebrating the newly adult na’vi who passed their iknimaya. As a great celebration, ikeyni sent a message to her old battle friend Jake Sully to come and give his wise words to the young adults. Give them encouragement and to be proud of how far they have come.
And while the main star was supposed to be Jake, his three little grandchildren stole the entire clan's attention. Who can ignore three cute little ones?
“Jealous of your own grandchildren toruk makto?” Ikeyni asks, teasing Jake one day. Many of her clan gathered around neteyam sully and his mate, the one who birthed such a miracle. The small family were centered in the village, a spot for everyone to see.
“Nah, if anything I feel more sorry for them, they are not used to so much attention '' Jake responds. Ikenyi sees how nervous and uncomfortable they were. Heading over, she has everyone to continue with their duties as to leave the family alone. She bends down to help syawn, “forgive my people. They are not over the fact of your little ones' ' ikeyni apologizes. Syawn shakes her head and smiles “it is alright. We should have expected this. Yet we still become overwhelmed”.
Bending down to their levels, ikeyni smiles at the triplets who cling to their parents' legs. All three silent while staring intently at her. “Hello little ones, do you like my home?” she asks. The triplets dont reply instantly, merely observing her, while blinking at the same time. Ikeyni won't admit it out loud, but seeing do things as one is a bit creepy yet intriguing.
“Come now you three, we practiced before” syawn kindly tells her children. Neteyam and syawn gently push forward the three in front of them. There were slight whimpers of protest but among the three, one of them stood in front of the other two. As a cute way of protecting them. “A brave one you are '' the olo’eykte compliments.
The one that protects the other two, was focusing on her head piece. A gasp of realization, the triplet pointed at Ikeynis face.
“SLINGER!”
She blinked twice, confusion was written on her face.
“SLINGER! SLINGER!”
The child repeats. And the other two followed.
Neteyam picks up the child and gives a frown, “lu’lafyon enough, she is not a slinger!”
Syawn was blushing in embarrassment. “I think it is your head piece olo’eykte, it almost resembles the head of a slinger. It doesn't help that you are covered in red paint…” she muttered the possible reason behind her son’s outburst. Syawn and neteyam were ready for anything the tyrangi leader would say or do. Anything.
Except for her laughing outburst.
They and others nearby saw how loud and penguin ikeyni was laughing.
“HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh my eywa!! HAHAHA! Oh he has a good eye!” she cackles out. After a few minutes she controlled herself and composed. Standing in front of neteyam, she stretches her arms out. “May I?” she asks. Neteyam hesitantly hands lu’lafyon over to ikeyni. Settling in her arms, the little one stares up at her.
“Lu’lafyon is it?”
The little one nods.
His siblings clinging onto her legs, reaching up for him.
“Very bold of you to call me such a thing, little one. No fear, no fear at all”
Hearing words coming from the olo’eykte, it brought some form of comfort to the parents. At least they are not in trouble.
“Come, let me guide you to your tents” ikeyni says as she leads the way. Still holding lu’lafyon and the other two little ones right at her sides following close.
Tumblr media
“Slinger?” tsentey repeats, eyes wide in surprise.
Ikeyni couldn't help but giggle some more as she prepares for the night.
“Yes, my headpiece reminded them of that horrid creature” she replies as she takes off the said head piece, admiring the craft. Tsentey sits beside her, smiling at her.
“Perhaps I should make something else to replace it, something less….slinger looking” he whispers into her ear.
Ikeyni looks back at him, frowning a bit.
“And replace your greatest gift to me? Never, this was your first courting gift to me. How can I replace this treasure?”
“Fair enough” tsentey says.
They stayed in a comfortable silence for a couple of minutes before it was broken again.
“Those three….you saw potential in one of them don't you?” Tsentey asks. Looking down at Ikeyni, he sees her face. An expression was displayed.
“Too early to tell. But yes, there is a spark in all of them….however, one of them just shines a little bit brighter”
Tumblr media
Ever since their first meet, both Ikeyni, and her beloved mate Tsentey, have taken interested in of the darling triplets. And that would be lu’lafyon Sully.
Lu’lafyon, the oldest triplet. Open minded, odd little one. Not that Ikeyni had any expectations for the little one, simply that he is full of surprises. One fun memory she recalls was when she was preparing a hunt in the sea with her group. As she prepared her ikran, her dear friend made some noises to notify her. Turning around she sees little lu’lafyon staring up at her ikran.
“Lu’lafyon..? What brings you here little one?” she asks as she bends down to meet him at eye level.
Lu’lafyon gave her a quick glance before bravely walking towards her ikran, raising his little hand to pet the creature. Bold he was, not a sign of fear.
Her ikran let out a satisfied sound, enjoying the attention from lu’lafyon. “My ikran seems to like you lu’lafyon. Seems you hold a certain charm that can't be resist” she comments. Finally looking at her, little lu’lafyon smiles, “snack?” he asks.
“Hm? You want to give her a snack?” she asks, the boy nods. Not seeing anything wrong, Ikeyni gives him the ok to do so. And pulling out from his small pouch was an interesting treat she has never seen before. Her ikran takes a sniff at it before taking it gently from the child, eating it well. Seemed like her ikran enjoyed the treat, whatever that was.
“What kind of treat did you offer just now?” ikeyni asks lu’lafyon giggles while covering his mouth.
“Bacon!”
Tumblr media
“Dad, have you seen lu’lafyon? We can't find him anywhere!” neteyam asks jake in a rather panicked tone. Syawn was tending to her children when she looked away for one second only to find her eldest child gone. Where he went is beyond anyone. Searching high and low, syawn couldnt find her baby so she told neteyam.
“I havent seen him all day, maybe he is with his siblings?” jake asks.
Neteyam shakes his head, “no, they are with syawn. Im worried that he might be-”
“He is flying”
Behind neteyam was lu’law and lu tstunwi as they held hands and smiled.
The siblings led neteyam and jake outside to join syawn who was looking up.
“What is going on??” Neteyam asks as he joins his mate.
“Lu’lafyon…..sky……up…..here……” syawn says, her finger pointing up in the sky, shaking as she couldnt believe what she was looking up. Neteyam and jake sees what she is pointing at their jaws drop.
Lu’lafyon was riding on an ikran. And not just any ikran, but the olo’eytke’s ikran. And not on its back oh no, the little one was riding on the ikrans HEAD!
“Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!!”
Lu’lafyon cries out in glee as Ikeyni does the same as they make a loop in the air. Nothing was holding the boy down, he simply clung onto the ikran with little to no protection.
“Oh he is definitely going to ask to do that when we get back home” lo’ak says out of nowhere while he joins in on the view.
“Hell to the no” syawn replies.
Tumblr media
“I say he will make a fine rider in our skies. I saw it in his eyes. The excitement, the thrill the young boy felt. I know that feeling all to well” tsentey days with a wide grin on his face.
He was training the young warriors when he saw ikeyni taking young lu’lafyon up to the skies with her ikran. Witnessing the boy’s big smile and cries of joy, tsentey knew from that moment that lu’lafyon would make a great ikran rider. Potential of many things.
“I merely took him for a flight since he was curious. However I dont think his parents were pleased at my reckless choice. Placing him on my ikran’s head with no security was dangerous' ' ikeyni says as she reflects on her past actions. She plans to apologize the next day, giving the poor parents a great scare.
“Yes, I will join you. There is something I would like to see for myself” tsentey whispers and he places a kiss on ikeyni’s cheek.
Tumblr media
“And you weave it like this….yes there you go. Already catching on” ikeyni compliments lu’lafyon as he carefully makes a new bracelet with the materials made or found within the Tayrangi territory. A piece of the clan to take with him wherever he goes.
Ikeyni makes herself a bracelet as well, to match lu’lafyon.
“One down, 2 to go!” the little one says with a wide smile.
“Are you making more for your siblings?” she asks. Lu’lafyon nods enthusiastically.
“We are always together, so we should always match!”
The na’vi nods, understanding his little logic.
“Well I am sure they will love it”
She looks over to see tsentey teaching the other two siblings how to create a certain arm band. Using the skins of an animal, tsentey was careful to instruct the children. And it seemed it was not so hard since lu’tstunwi and lu’law were too focused on every word he said.
“Lu’lafyon, how about I show you something to add to the bracelet?”
Lu’lafyon gasps excitedly, his tail swaying in excitement as well “Really? Like what?”
Ikeyni grins, “it is something that you will only see and get in our clan”
A special bead, for a special child.
Tumblr media
The next time ikeyni sees the boy, this time it was her visiting the omatikaya. The children were celebrating their 5th birthday. The sully family insisted on just celebrating within their clan, but many clans also insisted on joining in the celebration. Ikeyni and tsentey were no different. However it didn't take much words or anything to know they will have competition with the other olo’eyktans and tsahiks.
Competition for what exactly?
On who can give the best present to the triplets.
Perhaps by gaining favor, you win the triplets, you win the clan.
While ikeyni understands this as to form strong bonds and alliances.  And she now knows it will take more than just a pretty gift to win them over. While at first she did struggle on how to prove it, it was thanks to her dear mate with her perfect idea.
Which is why she and tsenteyhas prepared something very special for the triplets. Not for gaining favor, but merely to show how strong their clan's bond is with the omatikaya.
So when the moment came of the triplets revealing their presents. They were in awe.
Others were left in some confusion.
“A bead?” the Zeswa olo’eykte asks.
“Not just any bead” the zeswa tashik whispers.
The triplets were holding their little beads and showing it to everyone. Their beads were of hard amber, and inside was a drop of blood.
“I Ikeyni, Olo’eykte of the Tayrangi clan, and my mate Tsentey sees lu’lafyon, lu’tstunwi and lu’law as Tayrangi na’vi. As they are of Omatikaya, there are now also Tayrangi. My home is now theirs' ' Ikeyni proudly states.
The little ones hugged her tightly in gratefulness, lu’lafyon the most.
“Does that mean we can do your clan iknimaya?!”
Tumblr media
Lu’lafyon sully. You can ask him many things and many things he will answer. But if you ask him, “what is the best part of your life?”. That will be a very hard question, he loves everything about his life. His siblings, his family, his clan. Everything. And it will be very hard to pinpoint exactly what he enjoys the most. But he loves his life and lives everyday to the fullest.
And as such, many people he has come to meet, lu’lafyon loves them all. And one person in particular. Someone he has come to see as an aunt. The olo’eykte of the Tayrangi clan, Ikeyni.
From his earliest memories to his recent ones, ikeyni is someone he aspires to be. Strong, powerful, honorable and a good sense of humor.  Lu’lafyon always sees her at the same level as his father and grandfather. From the stories he was told, ikeyni isn't someone to be taken so loosely on.
While lu’lafyon isnt sure what he wants, one thing he does have his mind set on. And that is to pass the Tayrangi iknimaya, alongside Omatikaya iknimaya. But he fears doing something like this, alone.
Being a triplet has its perks and worrying sides.
Ly’lafyon always does things with his siblings. Anything he eats, does, or participates in, so do his siblings. “Brother are you sure?” lu’tstunwi asks him one day.
Lu’lafyon nods, he may seem confident but on the inside he is very worried about what his siblings would say.
“Doing iknimaya at the tayrangi…while doing the omatikaya…” lu’law mutters, repeating what he said.
“That seems a lot. One iknimaya is already full of trials and risky paths. We would be doubling it all” lu’tstunwi says.
“I know, trust me I know. And it will seem to take much longer. I am not forcing you guys, but just asking if you are willing to do it with me”
Lu’law taps her chin for a moment before looking at her brother, “and what if we say no?”
A kind smile appeared of lu’lafyons face, “then I won't do it either”
“WHAT?!” the other lu’s shouts in unison.
“What what?”
Lu’law and lu’tstunwi get closer to their oldest sibling.
“Just because we may not want to shouldn't stop you brother, don't let our choice bring you down” lu’tstunwi says while holding lu’lafyons left hand, lu’law doing the same with his right hand.
“I know, but it wouldn't be right if I do something and you two are not part of it. If you will do only omatikaya iknimaya, then so will I. Like grandpa always says. Sullys stick together” lu’lafyon explains. A small huff escaping him, a small sound of sadness.
Lu’tstunwi and lu’law look at each other.
“You are right, sully’s do stick together” lu’law says.
“And together, we will do both,” ‘lu’tstunwi adds.
“Both?”
“Yes, Okatikaya and Tayrangi iknimaya”
Tumblr media
“You three are insane” neteyam says with a sigh.
It was a long day for him and syawn, and to return with his children saying the more ridiculous thing they could ever come up with since lo’ak’s insane remarks.
Syawn looks at her children in worry and in surprise.
The triplets all sat in the same position, side by side, with equal determined expressions.
“You do realize that it requires double the effort? In everything?” syawn slowly asks her children, seeing if they really know what they are doing.
“More like triple the effort” lu’law says with a slight giggle. Neteyam rolls his eyes.
“This is not some game or joke you can make light of. This is serious, two iknimaya’s at once? No one has ever done it before” he adds.
“That is because no one tried. And true, why would anyone do both? But remember what ikeyni said. We are tayrangi too. But I, WE, want to prove to her that we earned it rather that simply telling” lu’lafyon says.
“Exactly, she said it. Confirmed it. Why go further? And taking your siblings down with you” neteyam presses on.
Lu’tstunwi places a hand on his brother’s shoulder as he smiles, “no down father. We see this as a great challenge. Grandfather told us how you pushed yourself to greater heights. If you can, why not us?”
Neteyam shakes his head, still in denial. Syawn places her hand on his shoulder, as to comfort him.
“No, you are doing one iknimaya and that is our clan. The trials here are deadly enough, doing further is risking your life” neteyam pushes, his voice sounding more impatient by the second.
Lu’lafyon leans forward, trying to lock eyes with his father.
“Please dad, we understand but let us try this. I want to try this. Already other clans hold high expectations from us and standards. They want to see what we triplets can do. Why not show them that?”
Syawn took a sharp turn of her neck to look at her eldest.
“What the other clans think of should not matter to you, any of you. Don't push yourselves just to satisfy the clans. You are not some spectacle to admire. You three are still children, ignoring the other’s ridiculous comments of being something greater. You three are already great in your own ways. If the reason for the tayrangi iknimaya is to impress others then forget it. I dont want you all to risk your lives for a dumb cause….damn it you are still babies!”
The triplets all lower their faces, looking down at the matted floor. Lu’law and lu’tstunwi turn to their older brother, waiting what he will do.
But lu’lafyon is still determined.
“The first trials….let us do the first trials……and if we can't keep up, we will call quits on the tayrangi and only do omatikaya….not to impress others. We just want to be the best we can be. Like you father, you and grandpa, uncle loki and everyone” lu’lafyon tries again. His eyes softened, slightly pouting.
Neteyam sees this, inwardly sighing. Ruffling his son's hair, he looks at lu’lafyon straight in the eyes, gold clashing with gold.
“The first trials…I will talk with ikeyni abouts this. I hope to see the end of the chaos you three will walk into” neteyam says.
In short, he allowed the lu’s to do the two iknimaya’s.
Tumblr media
“Your father is right, you are insane” ikeyni says after being told the news of what the triplets plan to do.
Lu’lafyon deflates his shoulders, rolling his eyes, “I was hoping you would be on my side for this”
“Lu’lafyon, you don't have to strain yourself on this. The times you come to visit, it already proves to me you are tayrangi. Eating, sleeping, living like a tayrangi. That is all the proof I need. Don't stress your family on this' ' ikeyni says.
Secretly she would agree with lu’lafyon on doing two iknimaya but her mate, being the voice of reason when it calls for it, has shown her the massive down sides to it. It is a long grueling process, and it will be longer for the children.
“Really lu’lafyon. What is your goal in all of this? What do you desire to achieve?” she presses on.
Reading the boy’s expressions, his eyes darting left and right, tail moving slowly and low, ears pinned to the back.
“Didn't think that far did you?” she concluded.
“Its not that. Its just, i need a better goal than proving others something. I want to have a goal that can help me go further, further than anything else. But also not a goal where I can lose my mind, a goal where I stand proud with my siblings but having a path of my own” lu’lafyon confesses.
This sparked something in ikeyni. She looks outside and sees lu’tstunwi with the metkayina warriors, lu’law with the okamtikaya healers. Jake with many olo’eyktans from other clans. This gave her an idea. Turning back to lu’lafyon, she smiles.
“Become tayangi,” she says.
Lu’lafyon tilts his head in confusion.
“I will train you lu’lafyon. I will train you and let you go through the iknimaya. Your goal shall be to become the Olo’eyktan of the Tayangi clan”
Tumblr media
Aaaaaaaaaand that is it with this one! Sorry for the long delay, I was almost done when I learned that ikeyni had a mate! So I went back to re-write some parts of the story to add him. But I hope you like it! Until next time! See ya!

You felt the wind whip through your hair as you landed, quickly dismounting your Ikran. Your hair whipped around your face as you greeted your older sister Ikeyni, her face now painted red and white with fresh paint.
"Oel ngati kameie tsmuke," you say as she looks you over for injuries.
You feel her hand on your shoulder as she guides you away from the prying eyes of the others, curious as to what new herbs and other healing items you would bring them.
You flinch as you sit down on your mat, your sister inspecting the deep gash on your forearm. She hisses in annoyance at you, "You were told not to leave. You are the Tsakarem, future Tsahìk of our Clan. What would I do if you had-"
You cut her off as she finished rubbing herbs into your wound, "And I am fine. You don't have to worry about me! I've already had my Iknimaya, I am an adult. I can take care of myself!"
You cross your arms and turn away from her, and you feel her hand land on your shoulder.
"I only worry for you," she says as her hand leaves your shoulder, "Every other day you leave, disregarding your lessons and teachings."
Your lips twist into a frown as you turn to face her, and you open your mouth to speak but she cuts you off, taking a deep breath before she speaks, "I forbid you from leaving. No more trips to the forest, and no flying. You will focus on your lessons and become our Tsahìk."
You gasp as she turns to leave, "You cannot force me to stay here!"
You follow her outside grasping her arm, pleading with her to let you stay.
"All of the herbs and medicines needed for your teachings can be found here. There is no need for you to leave. That is final."
You watch her back as she walks away, her attention now on Nan'ti and Tsentey. You glare at her and storm to the beach, letting the warm waves lap at your feet as you rest your head on your knees.
🌊 🌊 🌊
Your fingers twist the twine of the basket, tying it into a knot, then set it aside. Rubbing your temples, you stand and stretch watching the others dive with their Ikran into the sea.
Hands land on your shoulder and you jump, falling back into the sand.
"Are you okay?" a voice asks, holding out their hand as the laughter continues.
You gratefully accept it and dust off the sand clinging to your skin and clothes, "Thank you Aya."
She gives you a small smile and grabs the now finished basket from the ground, walking to the edge of the trees.
"So... I heard you were grounded from flying, and you can't even step foot into the forest without someone else," Peyzua crosses her arms behind her back as you trail behind them, the sand turning to dirt underneath your feet as you walk.
Grumbling you snatch the basket she's carrying, "It is true. But she doesn't understand!"
Aya unsheathes her knife and cuts off a few strips of bark from a nearby tree, shaking her head, "Ikeyni only worries for you. You are the next Tsahìk. Which means you must focus on your learning, and not fly off into the forest on a whim."
You rip out a few plants from the ground and shove them into your basket, Peyzua turns to you, nodding in agreement with her sister, "Aya is right, and so is Ikeyni. You don't want them to pick another Tsahìk, do you?"
You frown, and shake your head, "Of course not, I just feel so, trapped here! And I'm never gone too long," but you know that's a lie.
You went out so often, it was a wonder that your sister didn't pick a different candidate to become Tsahìk, but when you asked, she reminded you that Eywa had willed it to be so.
Aya places a hand on your shoulder, her eyes full of sympathy, "Just listen to her, and finish your teachings. I'm sure she'll be more lenient when you finish your Tsakarem teachings and become Tsahìk."
Signing you give her a weak smile, "Maybe."
🌊 🌊 🌊
With a quick wave, you give Aya and Peyzua a smile and head off back to your room, the sand now cool beneath your feet. You're almost halfway there when you hear hushed voices coming from your sister's home. Your ears perk up in curiosity when you hear your name, and you tiptoe closer, careful not to make too much sound when you gasp.
Ikeyni stands with her hands on her hips, her red and white paint now fully washed away, revealing her dark blue skin and white freckles. Her tail flits around in annoyance as she turns to Tsentey, and a man whose face you can't quite see.
The man's voice is low as he speaks, "What do you think?"
You frown when you realize you can't recognize the language he's speaking, but continue to listen, "I do not wish for the sky people to encroach any further," she pauses, her face twisted in contemplation.
Clearing her throat, she continues, "I will send five warriors with their Ikran, but that is all."
The man sounds grateful as he responds, "Thank you, again. I'll send word again when we depart."
You feel your heart drop when you feel someone's eyes on you, and spin around spotting a boy around your age leaning against the hut across from Ikeyni's.
"Eavesdropping?" a small smile graces his lips before he takes a step toward you.
Crossing your arms you frown at him, realizing he is speaking the same language the man had been speaking earlier. "What?"
His eyes fill with confusion as he asks again in the same strange language, but you shake your head.
"You don't speak English?"
This time he asks it in Na'vi and you sigh, "No, what-"
The sound of your sister hissing in annoyance cuts you off, and she stands between you, "What are you doing up? Go to bed," she says as steers you to your room.
But the man turns to her and raises a brow, "Who's this?"
She sighs before turning to him, "My sister, our Tsakarem," she points to him, "This is Jake Sully, Toruk Makto, Olo'eyktan of the Omatikaya, sister."
The boy clears his throat, and his eyes meet yours and you can see a blush creeping up his face before Jake speaks, "This is my oldest son, Neteyam."
You give a small nod in greeting and twist a strand of your hair around your fingers.
Ikeyni gently pushes you in the direction of your hut and wishes you a goodnight.
You almost collapse when you reach your bed, your head swimming with thoughts of the conversation and questions you would be bombarding your sister with the coming morning.
But for now, you close your eyes and let the sound of the waves splashing against the sand drift you into a deep slumber.
🌊 🌊 🌊
Neteyam quickly dismounts his Ikran following his father into their hut, where his mother greets them, "What was their reply?"
She puts down the arrow she was holding and gives them both a quick hug, checking for any sign of injuries.
"They'll send five, not a lot, but it'll help," he replies before sitting in front of the fire.
Neteyam takes a seat across from his father and removes his visor, setting it to the side, "Who was that again?"
Jake looks at him in confusion, "Who?"
"The girl with the Olo'eyktan," he pauses trying to remember what was said about you, "the Tsakarem?"
Jake sighs before answering, "- te Tsyuäval Ìe'ite. She's the younger sister of the Olo'eyktan Ikeyni."
Neteyam bites his lip in thought, "Will she be coming too?"
Jake shakes his head, "Of course not."
Neteyam nods and lies down, closing his eyes, his head swimming with questions about you.
The next morning Neteyam wakes earlier than usual, carefully tiptoeing out of the hut to sit down near the lab, waiting for the others to wake up.
It's almost an hour before he sees Spider come out of the lab, and hears Lo'ak and Kiri behind him.
"Why are you up so early?" Kiri asks before he stands.
"I couldn't sleep well," he shrugs his shoulders before crossing his arms.
"Was it because of yesterday?" Spider asks, his voice full of curiosity.
"You went with dad to the Eastern Sea right?" asks Kiri as they walk to the Ikran.
Her tail swings back and forth and her mouth breaks into an excited smile, "What was it like?"
He chuckles when he thinks back to catching you eavesdropping on the conversation, a blush creeping up his neck, "It was nice, there was lots of sand, and the ocean looked like it went on forever."
"Are you blushing?" Lo'ak shouts as Neteyam turns his head away in embarrassment.
"No, now are you coming or not?" he quickly mounts his Ikran and takes off, the others calling for him to wait up.
🌊 🌊 🌊
Your face scrunches up in an attempt to hide the disgust when you look down at the basket before you. Hearing a chuckle you glance up to see Aosìng smiling at you, "I caught too many, so I thought you might want some."
You gently take the basket of fish from him, and give him a tight smile, "Thank you Aosìng, you really shouldn't have," he smiles again, his eyes landing on your lips before you shift your own away.
The wind ruffles your hair before you even feel it, a featherlight kiss, and your face crinkles in displeasure, "Anything for my future mate," he whispers before turning and running back down the beach.
You groan when you feel Peyzua's arms wrap around you and her muffled laughter as she buries her face in your neck.
"Get off, Zua!" you exclaim before pushing her away, rubbing your mouth against the back of your hand in hopes of burning the kiss away.
"So, Aosìng still likes you then? Even after last time?" she teases as she ruffles your hair.
Aya sighs in disappointment before crossing her arms, "Don't listen to her," she rubs your shoulder gently as you fix your hair.
"Another reason I have to leave," you mutter as you follow them past the other huts and grab your baskets.
Peyzua nudges you in the ribs, "Hey! It could be worse," she says as she starts grabbing herbs and loading them into her basket.
"The only reason he "likes" me is because he is Ikeyni's successor. The future Olo'eyktan, as I am the future Tsahìk."
Your knife digs into the tree before you hear someone shouting, and as they come closer you can hear the shouting your name.
"Tsakarem! The Olo'eyktan requests your presence at once."
Your lips twist into a frown and you grumble, shoving your basket at Peyzua, following the man back to the village.
Ikeyni stands at the entrance of her hut, her body now covered in fresh red and white paint as she looks down at you. You greet her and your hands clench nervously.
"You called for me?" you ask, as she gestures for you to come inside.
She takes a deep breath before turning to you, her expression unreadable before she places a hand on your shoulder, "How goes your training?"
You freeze, eyes falling to the floor. You hadn't exactly done much other than gather more herbs and tend to wounds from the fishermen, so next to zero progress had been made.
Gulping nervously you reply, "It is going well, sister," a small smile spreads on her lips as her hand falls to her side.
You shift nervously before your mouth opens and closes, thinking of how to word your question before asking, "Why was the Olo'eyktan of the Omatikaya here yesterday? And with his son too," you trail off.
She takes a deep breath, her eyes closing briefly before opening again, "I will be leaving in three days' time, to help the Omatikaya Olo'eyktan, and people."
You bite back a gasp of shock as she continues, "You will of course stay here," she pauses her eyes falling to the floor, "And I will have Aosìng join me."
You flinch at the sound of his name and cross your arms, "So, when will you return then?"
"It should not take too long, a day or two."
She turns away from you and grabs something off her table. A cool sensation wraps around your neck as she attaches a purple beaded necklace.
Leaning back she smiles, "It suits you. It was Mother's."
Smiling you thank her, "Thank you. Is there anything you need me to prepare for tomorrow?"
"No, but Nan'ti will be watching over you while I am away."
You shiver, remembering the last time she had 'watched' over you, "More like breathing down my neck," you mutter.
"What was that?"
"N-nothing!"
You rub your neck nervously before you remember your questions from last night, "What language were they speaking?"
"Who?" she asks, her voice tense as she grabs her bow and quiver of arrows.
"The Olo'eyktan and his son, what was his name again?"
You bite your lip in thought before she answers, "There are some differences between the Omatikaya's speaking and ours. So that is why you did not understand them."
You nod slowly, that did make some sense. In all your visits to the forest, you had never actually gone far enough to run into any of the Omatikaya people, so that had to be the case.
She puts her hand on your shoulder empathetically, her eyes unreadable before she speaks, "When I return, we will speak about flying and your lessons."
Her hand leaves your shoulder as she joins Tsentey, leaving you alone in the entrance of the hut.
🌊 🌊 🌊
You can already hear the lecture coming from your sister as you soar through the sky on your Ikran. Hopefully, she won't be too upset, you think to yourself as you land and dismount from your Ikran. This was your last chance at visiting the forest, seeing as you would be with left with Nan'ti while your sister helped the Omatikaya people, you wanted to make the best of it. You pat her neck gently before sending her off and continue into the forest.
Although your sister had said you could find all the herbs you needed back home, you disagreed. For example, you found that the bark deeper in the forest would heal certain wounds and injuries faster than the bark used from the trees at home. But of course, that didn't matter to Ikeyni, she still refused to let you leave. You had always wondered why, but the only answer she gave you was how dangerous it could be, because of the sky people. But you had yet to see a single one on your trips out.
"They must not have got this far yet," you whisper to yourself as you hear the sound of a twig snap.
You glanced around but saw nothing, so you continued walking, assuming it was a harmless animal. Sheathing your knife you began to walk faster, hearing strange whispers from the trees, and the snapping of branches growing ever closer.
You had almost made it over a log before you heard a voice behind you. Your ears twitch nervously as you unsheathe your knife again, suddenly wishing you had brought your bow as you take a defensive stance against the trees.
Holding your knife against your chest, you looked around the trees, your breath catching when you notice a pair of eyes behind a leaf. Slowing your breathing and you make a run toward the leaves.
You tackle the person who had been hiding behind the leaves and hold your knife against their throat, your hands shaking. Feeling sweat drip down your face, you try to remember Nan'ti's teachings on hand-to-hand combat. But then you feel something sharp against your neck.
"Let him go," a familiar. voice grits out from right behind your ear. You glare at the person pinned beneath your knife, but reluctantly toss it to the side.
You feel hands on your shoulders pulling you to your feet and the blade leaves your neck.
"Who are you?" a voice asks and you turn to see a boy just around your age standing with his knife held in front of him defensively.
Looking up at him you realize where you know him from, "Toruk Makto's son?" you question before you see recognition in his eyes.
"Tsakarem?" he asks before sheathing his knife.
Nodding you retrieve your knife and sheath it and stumble through an apology, "I am so sorry. I am not used to seeing people around when I come to gather my herbs, I must have come too far in."
Shaking his head you see the hint of a smile on his lips when the other boy interrupts, "Who is she?"
Neteyam sighs before answering, "The Tsakarem of the Tayrangi Clan."
Tilting your head in confusion you mutter, "I didn't know the Omatikaya dialect was so different."
Neteyam returns the look of confusion when he responds, "You mean English?"
Shaking your head you frown, what was English? Another Na'vi language you were unfamiliar with?
"Sorry, I'm afraid I don't know what language that is. I have never interacted with people from another clan before, so," you trail off as the two exchange glances.
"It's okay," says Neteyam quickly.
"Oh, and this is my brother, Lo'ak," he says before gesturing to the boy next to him.
You hear more branches rustle, and whispers before three more people emerge from the trees. Your hand instinctively grabs the end of your knife but you feel a hand on yours, stopping you from unsheathing it.
Looking down you see that it's Neteyam's, "It's okay, those are my sisters," he gestures to the two girls whose stares are full of curiosity, "Kiri and Tuk."
You give them a small smile before your eyes land on the third figure and flinch, taking a step back. You nearly trip over a log, but Neteyam grabs your arm and pulls you to your feet, "A sky person?" you whisper, voice full of fear as you hide behind Neteyam.
Neteyam feels his face heat up as your hands land on his shoulder, using him as a shield against Spider.
Lo'ak laughs when he realizes that you're scared of Spider, "You're scared of him?"
Neteyam smacks him before grabbing your hands and taking them off of his shoulders, "It's okay, it's just Spider. He's a friend," he reassures you before pushing you in front of him.
You feel your anxiety worsen as the older of the two girls approach, "Hi, I'm Kiri," she says as she sits down on the log facing you.
"You're not Omatikaya, are you?" she asks when she notices the confused expression on your face.
You shake your head, "No, I am the Tsakarem of the Tayrangi Clan. I am here to gather herbs," you push your hair away from your face, feeling a blush creeping up your face as she leans in closer.
"Where's that?" a second voice asks.
You look past Kiri to see a girl, who must be Tuk standing next to Neteyam, her eyes full of curiosity as she stares at you.
"It's on the Eastern Sea," you say quietly, eyes glancing up at the sky, which was once a bright blue, but is now a dark grey.
"Really? What's it like?" Kiri asks as you feel a raindrop land on your face.
Instead of answering her question, you decide to call for your Ikran, watching as she soars through the trees and lands in front of you, you coo at her, "Tam tam, Tompìva."
You hear the others look on as you pat her neck, smiling sadly as you turn to Neteyam, "It was nice to see you again, son of Toruk Makto, but I must leave, a storm is coming, and I do not wish to be stuck in it."
Neteyam frowns, he had only just met you but wished you could stay just a bit longer.
"Travel safe," Kiri says before turning to walk back into the trees, Tuk, Spider, and Lo'ak following her.
Feeling the rain pick up you turn to Neteyam and give him a small smile, sad that you were leaving so soon.
He opens his mouth to wish you a safe trip home but pauses, wondering if he'd ever get the chance to see you again he quickly tears off a feather from an arrow in his quiver handing it to you, "In case we meet again."
You smile before tucking it away in your bag, "Thank you Neteyam," you quickly mount your Ikran and take off, leaving Neteyam standing in the rain, heat rising up his face.
🌊 🌊 🌊
Pushing back your visor you dismount your Ikran, when you feel a presence behind you. Turning around you come face to face with your sister, her skin still covered in the red and white paint. Her eyes are full of anger and disappointment as she stares at you.
"You disobeyed my direct orders," her hands are clenched at her sides as she sighs, her eyes falling to the ground.
"I-I'm sorry, I just-"
"Just what?" she exclaims.
Her voice rises and you can see people sticking their heads out of the entrance to their homes, looking on in confusion.
"You have a duty to our people, as our Tsahìk, Eywa has willed it!"
Her face scrunches in anger, and her teeth are bared as she continues to berate you for not fulfilling your duties as Tsakarem. You feel your face heat up in anger and shout out, "I do not care if Eywa has willed it or not," you pause and bite your lip nervously before continuing, "And it is impossible to become Tsahìk if there is no teacher!"
You could hear the gasps coming from the homes surrounding you and took a step back towards your Ikran as Ikeyni's hands clenched into fists, "Eywa is your teacher, let her guide you."
Her voice was soft now, and she approached you as if cornering a wild animal. It was then that you heard another voice.
"Listen to her, ma tìyawn,"  Aosìng says before reaching out to you.
Slapping his hand away you mount your Ikran and take off, hearing your sister's anger filled voice as you fly through the sky.

Could you please do one where Ronal and Tonowari react to the reader or OC, which ever is more your thing, having lots of battle scars from the war in the first movie? 🧁❤️ I love your writing! It’s so awesome to read and I can’t wait for the next part of your Tonowari x Ronal x OC fanfic!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Stunning, beautiful, elegant. Gifs by @stallislump )
Pairing: Ronal/Reader/Tonowari
Taglist: @mooniequeen
Warnings: non-gender specific reader, fluff, mentions of war, scars, heavily implied stuff (nsfw? idk, but I'd read this at work)
Na'vi Words: ikran - mountain banshee, olo'eyktan - male clan leader, tsahik - spiritual clan leader, kelku - house/home
A/N: This is short but sweet. I hope you like it! (Note: Stand alone! Not a part of the tsamsiyu ta'em series)
~~~~~~~~~
They had noticed your scars the first day they met you, a Na'vi flying in on an ikran alongside the gunship Jakesully had radioed in to help Young Kiri. They knew Sky People were coming, but they weren't expecting you.
The Metkayina have heard many stories about the clans that came together under Toruk Makto's leadership. Even from as far as the reef, the Na'vi heard about the war with the Sky People and the casualties left behind. Such war and casualties were shown on your skin, displayed like a story. Long, thin, cut-like marks ran up and down your legs and part of your torso, while small, circular scars riddled your right shoulder and chest. The skin that healed over your wounds was a pale blue compared to the rest of your skin and stripes. When Toruk Makto introduced you to the olo'eyktan and tsahik of the Metkayina, they couldn't take their eyes off of you.
Your style and the colors of your attire were not of Omatikaya. Tonowari and Ronal later learn that you were originally from the Tayrangi clan but stayed with the Omatikaya after the war. As they got to know you, they learned that your family members were great warriors but had tragically died in the battle of the Hallelujah Mountains. After their deaths, you saw no reason to return home with your clan and made a life for yourself in the forests with Toruk Makto's clan.
Considering you as an entrusted friend and ally, Jake had asked you to stay in Awa'atlu for a little while so he would feel more secure and able to protect his family. And while you stayed among the Metkayina, both Tonowari and Ronal grew closer to you and wished to learn more about you and your stories... specifically the story behind your scars.
Originally, you didn't feel inclined to share the story, simply stating that you earned your scars in the battle against the Sky People. However, as you grew closer to the Metkayina clan leaders, you began to let yourself be more open and vulnerable toward them, which is where you find yourself sitting with the pair, alone in their kelku. It was a late night and their children were out with the Sully children to show them the beauty of night fishing.
It was Tonowari who boldly reached his hand out and gently grazed a scar on your shoulder, his thumb tenderly pressing into the raised, circular mark. "Who did this to you?"
"The Sky People," you found yourself saying without hesitance, "I fell off my ikran and survived," you originally pointed to the long, thin scars you earned from falling and crashing, then you moved onto the rounded scars around your shoulder, "These scars are from their weapons made of metal. They call them guns and bullets. Any closer and they would have pierced my heart."
Neither of the clan leaders looked pleased by that statement, and Ronal took her husband's boldness a step further. The tsahik leaned down and placed a chaste kiss over a bullet-shaped scar that was located near your collar, her warm lips leaving behind a tingle underneath your skin when she pulled away.
The look she gave you sent your heart racing, her gaze heated and foggy as she stared at you through her lashes, "Thank the Great Mother that they didn't."
One thing led to another and you found yourself in the pair's undivided attention all throughout the night, together learning where each and every one of your scars were located on your body. While you weren't necessarily self-conscious about the scars (you were mostly proud and showed them off as proof that you survived and won a war), you had begun shying away from their touch whenever they got too close to any specific markings. But over time, throughout the night, you began to relax and feel safe, allowing the two Reef Na'vi to explore you in ways you've never felt before.
Unfortunately I did find it on Etsy.... I didn't even know this was a thing until today.
Tumblr media
Fellas, fellas
Why on earth are you BUYING PHYSICAL BOOKBOUND COPIES OF FANFICTION????
ACTUALLY WHY ARE YOU EVEN BOOKBINDING FANFICTION TO SELL?!?!?!
IF ANY OF YOU DO EITHER OF THESE THINGS, GET OUT!! I AM NEVER SPEAKING TO YOU AGAIN.
In all seriousness though, authors on AO3 have begun to pull their works off of the site to avoid getting sued by people stealing their works to make a pretty bound book for profit. Entire accounts could be shut down as well.
Listen, I’m all for saving favorite works by printing them out and putting them in a binder, or learning how to make a bookbound copy yourself and/or assembling one with a pre-made and purchased fancy binding for a fanfic FOR YOURSELF or AS A GIFT to someone, but making bindings with and putting fanfiction in it TO SELL is where I draw the line.
Literally the entire point of AO3 is that you can read it FOR FREE.
It is DISRESPECTFUL for people to make money off of hardbound copies because guess what, the original creators of these fics get nothing. We are literally only writing fanfiction for our own pleasure.
Buying and selling book-bound fanfiction is also ILLEGAL YOU DUMB SHITS. People who are selling content while claiming to be a book binder is a misconception of their services. Book binders make the covers and all that, not the actual content of the book. Selling fanfiction is also an immediate violation of copyright law / Creative Commons licenses. The original fan work will get erased from the internet.
Fanfiction is already a legal grey zone since they are works being written about are protected by copyright. Copyright holders can in fact go after writers as well as the person who sold the fanfiction.
This also goes for people who steal fanart and, claim it as theirs, and put a price on it.
Don’t make it worse.
rest assured, we can still write our fanfics and make our art.
Buying a binding for you to assemble onto your own fanfiction or fanfiction you printed for PERSONAL USE is fine.
HOWEVER,
Bookbinding fanfiction for profit is literally ruining things for everyone. DON’T.
If I see any of them on Etsy, I swear to god-
Sneak peek: Syawn ch7
Tumblr media
“Come now you three, we practiced before” syawn kindly tells her children. Neteyam and syawn gently push forward the three in front of them. There were slight whimpers of protest but among the three, one of them stood in front of the other two. As a cute way of protecting them. “A brave one you are '' the olo’eykte compliments.
The one that protects the other two, was focusing on her head piece. A gasp of realization, the triplet pointed at Ikeynis face.
“SLINGER!”
She blinked twice, confusion was written on her face.
“SLINGER! SLINGER!”
The child repeats. And the other two followed.
~🌊🌊🌊~
Hot tears mix with the rain as they roll down your cheeks, you take a hand away from your Ikran to push them away, and urge her to move faster. The wind whips through your hair as lightning illuminates the sky, and the sound deafens you as you take refuge in the trees. Landing, you dismount Tompìva and pat her neck, trying to find a somewhat dry place to hide when you spot a small metal building. After calming your Ikran you take refuge inside the small cramped building.
After entering the broken down door, you take note of how strange the small building is, and decide that it must be a skyperson's home. Wringing the water out of your hair you lay down on one of the soft beds at the end of the room, hoping no one will come back here anytime soon you drift off into a dream filled with your sister's shouting and look of disdain.
You feel something tap your arm and flinch, covering your face with your arm, "Five more minutes tsmuke," but the tapping doesn't stop.
Sitting up you glance around the unfamiliar surrounding before remembering the events of the last night. Standing you glance out one of the broken windows, sunlight streaming into it, nearly blinding you.
The ground is soft and muddy under your feet as you step outside, the rain is now long gone. Stepping towards the trees your feet catch on something and you fall face first into the mud, "Damn!"
Groaning, you sit up and inspect it, no damage, but notice a strange metal thing poking out of the ground. Your face contorts in confusion when you look down at it, noticing a skull inside of it.
"What is this?"
Hearing a twig snap, and movement in the leaves, a chill runs down your spine. Your tail flits against the ground nervously as you unsheathe your knife, dropping the skull. The shaking of leaves to your right makes you flinch, turning you watch as a pair of yellow eyes glare at you. And that's when you feel it. An arm throws you to the ground, and another grabs your Tsaheylu and yanks you up.
Hissing at your unseen attacker you struggle against his grip, but it's no use as your knife is knocked from your hand.
"And who might you be?" a voice asks as you flail and kick the air.
His hand grabs your chin roughly and forces you to look up at him, his eyes scanning your face for something. You hiss, baring your teeth at him before he laughs and tightens his grip.
"You don't look like him," he says and you glare.
"I don't understand," you choke out as his hand tilts your head from side to side.
"But you could be useful," dropping your face he turns to leave.
As he takes a step into the trees you watch as an arrow flies past him, landing in the dirt. The end is covered in familiar blue and yellow feathers, and your heart sinks. Why did you follow me here?
Another arrow plants itself in the person who's holding you, and they fall back choking on their own blood. With your new freedom, you snatch up your knife and slash at the two behind you before running to the trees, your legs carrying you as far away as possible before you slump to the ground.
Trying to catch your breath you hear the sound of gunshots ring through the forest. Freezing, you wait before standing and running back to the abandoned building. You can feel your blood run cold at the sight, the strangers gone, and in their place bleeding out on the forest floor is Aosìng.
Kneeling beside him you almost puke. His body is littered with at least five bullet holes, putting pressure on the wound you call for your Ikran.
"Damnit! Why did you follow me here?" you shout as you pull him onto your Ikran and take flight.
~🌊🌊🌊~
It doesn't take long before you reach the parts of the forest you'd never even attempted to go to before. And you watch as the trees begin to thicken blocking out the forest floor. You urge Tompìva to slow down when you see strange tracks parting the trees, and a train comes into view. It speeds along the rail soundlessly as you pass by, careful not to be seen. Hearing the screeching of other Ikran, you glance over to see ten others flying around the train.
Flying lower, you attempt to land when you hear an explosion and feel yourself falling through the sky. Your hold on Aosìng weakens and he slips from your hands.
The last thing you hear before your body hits the ground is the pained screeching of Tompìva as she falls with you.
~🌊🌊🌊~
Neteyam's eyes scan the area around the train as the others grab supplies when he hears the screeching of an Ikran. His head whips around scanning the sky when he spots it, a blue and purple Ikran falling through the sky and into the trees, its rider not far behind. He glances over at Lo'ak before heading off to the forest.
He rushes past the trees trying to find it, hoping it isn't too serious when he spots it. The now dead Ikran laying atop its rider. He rushes to their side slowly lifting the Ikran off of them and gasps. A girl who couldn't be much older than him is lying on the forest floor covered in her own blood.
After lifting her up his face falls once he recognizes her, "y/n?"
There are two bullet holes scattered across your torso, and one almost on your neck. He carefully lifts her into his arms when your eyes shoot open, "Tompìva!"
You leap forward, your hands cradling your Ikran's head in your lap as you sob. He watches as you turn and look around, muttering something he can't hear through your cries before you collapse.
~🌊🌊🌊~
Your head pounds and your eyes flutter open, the glow of fire greeting you. You stand, wincing in pain when you notice someone standing at the entrance, looking in at you. You realize you don't recognize them when a hand forces you to sit.
"Your wounds will reopen if you do not sit and rest," you glance up to see an older woman now checking your wounds.
Slowly scanning the room, your eyes land on your small bag, once filled with flowers and herbs, now laying empty by the fire, and the memories come flooding back.
"Tompìva! Where is she?!? Is she hurt?!?" you shout, your breathing ragged as you frantically reach for your bag, only for a voice to stop you in your tracks.
"Who are you?"
Your hands tightly grip your bag as you look up to see the man in the entrance speaking. He looks familiar, you think to yourself before you clear your throat, answering his question, ""My name is - te Tsyuäval Ìe'ite. I am the Tsak-" you pause, deciding on whether to tell them the truth or not, but decide against it, "Who are you?"
His face is unreadable as he steps closer to the fire, a woman walking in behind him, her eyes with suspicion as she looks you over.
"What were you doing in the forest? And where are you from?"
You glare at him, repeating yourself, "My name is  - te Tsyuäval Ìe'ite. Who are you?"
He groans in frustration as the woman next to him puts a hand on his shoulder, whispering something in his ear.
You cross your arms and watch as they argue, before he turns to you again, "I am Jake Sully, Toruk Makto, and Olo'eyktan of the Omatikaya Clan. Now, what were you doing in the forest and where are you from?"
You cover your mouth, concealing a gasp as you realize where it is you recognize him from.
"Ikeyni," you cough and wince before continuing, "I am Ikeyni's sister, Tsakarem of the Tayrangi Clan of the Eastern Sea."
He looks at you in confusion, looking to the woman before she speaks, "Ikeyni?."
A look of surprise washes over Jake's face as he turns to you, "Then what were you doing in the forest?"
You can feel tears pricking at your eyes when you recall the last conversation you had with your sister, and how you stormed off in the middle of the night.
"I was gathering herbs," you lie, your voice cracking at the end, and you can already feel the hot tears spilling down your cheeks.
His voice is solemn when asks his next question, "And where is your Ikran?"
A sob escapes you as you wipe away your tears, "She is with Eywa now," your hands wipe furiously at your eyes as your body is wracked with sobs.
Neytiri turns to Jake, her eyes full of concern, "We should let her rest, for now."
He nods in agreement before leaving, thinking about what to do next.
~🌊🌊🌊~
You wake in a cold sweat, your dreams filled with the screeching of Tompìva, and your sister's words, "You are the Tsakarem, future Tsahìk of our Clan. What would I do if you had-"
You shake your head, pushing the thoughts away when you hear someone clear their throat. You turn to see Kiri standing in the entrance, a plate of food in her hands. She gives you a small smile as she walks towards you, taking a seat in front of you.
"Hi," you take the plate from her, careful not to spill its contents on the floor.
"Hi Kiri, right?" you whisper, your voice still hoarse from the screaming.
"I didn't think I'd see you so soon again," she says as you take a small bite of the fruit on the plate, cringing when the sour taste envelopes your mouth.
You thank her and push your hair out of your face, dreading what will happen when your sister finds out where you are.
"If it's okay, can I ask more about the Eastern Sea?"
Her voice is cautious, as she looks down at the floor. Setting your bowl down you nod, grateful for a brief reprieve from the events of the day.
"There's sand everywhere, and the ocean is always so pretty-"
You're cut off when you hear someone clear their throat. Looking up you see Jake standing with his arms crossed as he nods to Kiri.
She gives you another smile and grabs your plate, "I hope you recover soon."
You return her smile and thank her again before Jake walks closer to the fire, his brow twisted in contemplation.
Your eyes stare at the floor as you wait for him to speak, your hands twisting the ends of your hair. And you wonder where you lost your hairclip when he finally speaks, "So, you won't be able to leave right now," he gestures to your wounds, "But once you're all healed up, we'll take you back, okay?"
You frown, "What of my sister?"
Head spinning you jumped to your feet, nearly doubling over in pain as you hobbled to the entrance, "I swear I saw her Ikran before..."
He sighs as he rubs his eyes, "Ikeyni is fine, your friend however," he trails off as if trying to find the right words to say before continuing, "He'll live, but it will take longer for him to recover."
"My friend?" you question as you sit up, trying to remember more of what had happened before you blacked out.
That's when it hits you, Aosìng, that stupid skxawng! He had somehow managed to find you and from the looks of it, abandoned the raid. Which shouldn't have been for another two days...
"Was that, the raid?" you ask quietly crossing your arms.
Jake nods as Mo'at leaves, "It was moved forward after a change of plans."
But before he can you grab his arm, "Does she know where I am?"
Jake takes a deep breath before answering, "No, she doesn't know where you are."
You feel a mixture of relief and guilt wash over you. Relief that your sister is safe, but guilt for how you left things with her.
"When can I leave?" you ask, looking up at him.
"We'll take care of you until you're healed enough to travel, and then we'll take you back," he replies, his voice steady.
You nod slowly, taking in his words. You know that you owe gratitude to the Omatikaya for saving your life, but you can't help but feel like you were worsening things with your sister by staying.
Laying down as he leaves you let yourself drift off to an uncomfortable sleep.
~🌊🌊🌊~
Neteyam's eyes glanced over at Kiri as she filled a bowl with more fruit. His tail flicked about impatiently as she started to leave. Crossing his arms he gently grabbed her shoulder, "Do you mind if I take it to her?"
Kiri glanced up at him and smiled, "Sure," she said before handing him the bowl.
Carefully walking to the end of the caves, Neteyam entered your hut to see you sitting in front of the fire arms crossed.
"Kiri, I'm not really-"
Clearing his throat, Neteyam interrupted you, "Here."
Watching as you accepted the bowl from him he sat across from the fire.
"Are you, okay?" he asks and then immediately bites his tongue.
Your expression is one of worry mixed with guilt as you set the bowl down.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have-"
"It's okay," you reassure, giving him a small smile before continuing, "I feel guilty," you pause at the feeling of warm tears rolling down your face.
Feeling a warmth on your face you blink, and see Neteyam's hand wiping away the falling tears.
"Guilt over what?" he asks his voice low.
"I got into a fight, with my sister," a sob wracks your body as you remember the look on her face as you left.
She had been so disappointed.
Netetyam's mouth opened and closed, trying to think of what to say, before a sob wracked your body. He quickly wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you close, resting his chin on top of your head.
A few moments of silence had passed, Neteyam's chest now wet with your tears before you heard something clatter to the floor.
Looking over Neteyam's shoulder you flinched, Aosìng was standing in the entrance, gripping it so hard his hand shook.
Tumblr media
Giving tsutey head for the first time ?
“Like i do”
Tsu’Tey x FemAvatar reader
Warnings: Heavy smut with barely any plot
Overview: You take Tsu’teys virginity
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Your head bobbed at a quick speed as your two hands stroked his length. You heard his uncontrollable breaths of course. You felt how his back was stiffened and oh how you loved how his hands pushed your hair up into a ponytail. Pushing your head just the right way.
“Yes y/n, Yes just like that.” Hearing a man like him so desperate and breathless only made your pussy flutter in need. You never thought he’d make so much noise. And you sure as hell didnt think he was a virgin..
The way he walked around the village like he owned the place. Always scowling and picking at Jake and you, really anyone he deemed lower than him. Oh and that scowl, that nasty look that rested on his face 24/7,But when you look up at him now it’s evident that all he ever needed was some good, sloppy earthly head.
You sucked him up like it fucking mattered. All it took was some teasing from yall friends. They all joked “y/ns to innocent to know the first thing about sex” blahh blahh blahhhh. But when Tsu’tey laughed!! It was like you had no choice but to prove yourself.
Next thing you know you’re both drunkenly trailing into the woods kissing by the river.One thing led to another and now your choking on his cock.
You swirled your tongue around his tip letting whines leave your mouth, watching his hips buck. “You want me to ride it Tsu’tey hmm?” You looked into his eyes the desperation driving you crazy..
All he could do was nod. So aroused that he was nodding all the way till you finally aligned with his length. His dick was nothing like you’d ever seen it was almost too big for his frame,Surprisingly fat too..
His hands were placed on your hips as you slid down his length slowly. Once he was in, you wasted no time. beginning to bounce up and down slowly. The prettiest moans left his lips, the prettiest breathy fucking whimpers
You picked up your speed whining from the pleasure. This wasn’t your first rodeo yet riding never felt this good “Fuck daddy youre so big,i can call you that right daddy” He once again nodded breathlessly looking up at you with the sweetest doe eyes.
Your wet pussy swallowed him whole giving him a sensation his hand couldnt ever reach. “y/n i-i-i-im g-gonna g-g-gonna~” Poor baby couldn’t even speak once you started slamming down on his cock mercilessly. His hands gripped your waist pulling you down harder and harder.You felt it coming and you let it happen, cumming around his cock creaming it nice and good “Cmon daddy gimme that cum, come on”
That was all it took for him to be cumming uncontrollably,deep within your walls, His moans echoing through the forests. By the time he came down he was barely aware, eyes shut or staring deep into yours. “Your virginity is mine Tsu’tey, even if you go and mate Neytiri ,she’ll never make you cum like i did and your virginity will always be mine.”He nodded looking into you eyes “i know ma y/n”
“good”
