I have a little bit of everything I could share, I suppose.

I've been crawling my way out of both art and writer's block over the last couple of weeks. It's been rough but I'm getting back into the swing of things and feeling a bit more normal this week.

As far as VP goes, I've finally FINALLY gotten into the meat of properly using Reshade's DOF w/ IGCS and Otis and goddamn is it a weight off my mind. I've been so frustrated figuring this out.

Not the best, but it's a test shot...could use some fine tuning to get Vaye more in focus but now I know how to do that at least.

Prior to this morning, I was still using a combo of vanilla DOF, another lesser DOF filter, or doing it by hand (yes, I do mean importing into CSP and blurring the background myself).

In the art department, everything is WIPs right now. Mostly just sketches. It's been a minute since I've truly finished anything lol oops. (And all I have to share are Gil's tits, go figure. ft. @netripper's gal, Vic 💖)

In writing land I have updates coming along for a few fics, plus a one shot that's been haunting me (/pos).

Here's a bit from the pirates fic (All That Glitters), because I haven't talked about that one in a hot minute and I love it dearly.

aaaaaand I'll toss in a snippet from the next chapter of Vaye's canon fic too. This one's coming from our favorite tapeworm's POV.

i remember when i first started listening i thought the elephant man was a giant joke perpetuated by will wood and his merry band of tapeworms and they avoided all suspicion by returning every mealtime to play their funky little tunes for the kids. their motivation is that luciele never acknowledged any of them as actual counselors despite them being at camp and helping out, which is why sydney never mentions a counselor will or counselor mario or anything of the sort. or, alternatively, they could have just been taking turns causing chaos as a counselor lead prank against camp, again why none of them would have been mentioned (and my own rationalization for elijah's goofy ahh fit).

my main proof of will being real in the chnt universe was the piano flourish he does whenever sydney mentioned soup in that one episode because like, he'd have to be there listening to sydney and playing alongside him during announcements. also the line "i chucked my eyeballs in the bonfire" from vampire culture was enough to convince me because ha ha funny bonfire that makes you hallucinate wouldnt it be great if someone cursed it to be like that by giving up their vision to give other people more visions (also why my counselor will design was blindfolded).

naturally when i hit the episode with elijah i was proven very wrong but could you imagine
