to me mounders are found family but not in a standard siblings-esque dynamic or anything. particularly early on it’s like they have the unshakable camaraderie of like, college dormmates bonded through their mutual befuddlement of what shared teachers they have, or acquaintances stuck in a elevator together, or shipwreck survivors caught in the same stretch of land.
and it’s happenstantial up until they’re maybe a little too loyal a little too giving for what should ultimately amount to amicable neighbors. it’s happenstantial until they start to notice that they choose eachother over and over again, in their own ways. it’s that they care for eachother and they fight for eachother and they mourn for eachother as a whole and individually. and it’s fascinating.

Given how much Scar’s character knows. (From him connecting series that we don’t think he should know about to his character. And him knowing things he shouldn’t…) I’m on the band wagon that Scar is some sort of Eldtrich God.
Righttt like, my best guess is he's some sort of dimension-hopper or something... a traveling trickster god.. mentally i'm at a corkboard w/all the red strings connecting to different scars trying to piece it all together, holding my head in my hands
It's like. Okay. He had an encounter with s8 tycoon scar where he stole his hat, and he killed him (?) but today he said he simply broke a wheel on the wagon and stole the hat? He says each hat has a story. Does Jellie's hat also have a story. Jellie obviously travels with him across every universe. He seems not to mind when people don't remember who he is but he gets VERY upset when people don't know who Jellie is; just thought that was interesting
Did P!Scar travel to the hermitcraft season 8 universe? After the moon hit the server? Did tycoon scar travel to the pirates universe? Or are they the same person and it's just a lie? When he first spawns in Pirates SMP he makes it a point to mention a mysterious flower crown in his inventory. He says it's an important crown, and it's the only one on the server. Buttercups??? (Sidenote he also spawns with some blocks of cyan glazed terracotta. Not sure what that's about but it's dangerously close to being light blue glazed aka the vex magic. I would have lost my mind)
At the very beginning Scar says his ship was called the Flying Jellie. The Flying Jellie. What if it wasn't a boat. What if it was a space ship. He calls it a pirate ship but that doesn't necessarily mean a boat, ti could be a space pirate ship. (He's done loopholes with his phrasing like this before, like today when he sold michela a sword that was "nearly full" durability, only to later clarify it was "nearly full-y depleted"). He says he won an important battle with the ship, but he lost the ship and the crew. I've seen people say that the crew is supposed to have been boatem, not sure if that's canon? Is the ship story even true?
He made references to both Pearl and Grian today, are they his Pearl and Grian from the pirates universe or is he referring to the hermits? He mentions Pearl by name to Sausage, who says he doesn't know who that is (and yet Sausage goes on to casually mention the moon at the mention of Pearl, either Sausage is also a dimension-hopper and he's bluffing or he has a subconscious connection to his other lives). He doesn't say Grian's name but he talks about a man on his crew who sunk with the ship that's very obviously meant to be Grian (says the man's head looked like a loaf of bread, that he wore red, would have been a Kite). He doesn't seem too upset about the loss.
He greets Cleo, Scott and Martyn when he first sees them even though they don't know who he is. Cleo flat-out says "I don't believe we've met" after he greets her by name. Interestingly enough when he first calls Martyn by name, Martyn doesn't question it (I know Martyn also has some Lore going on, maybe he recognizes Scar too) Also I saw someone point out that his pants resemble mayor scar's pants. Possible season 7 reference, season 8 reference with tycoon scar and a possible? season 9 reference?? with that flower crown???
I literally can't tell if he has this planned-out intricate lore that connects all of his minecraft SMP characters like Martyn does or if he's literally just saying random stuff for fun. His character could be lying about his entire backstory, we don't know. i have no idea what's important to the lore and what isn't. this man is such a trickster god its not even funny. tldr WHAT IS GOING ON

Thinking about how similar icarus and arisanna actually are, about how she has been through a lot of the same things they have, and that can make her comments towards icarus, and fable, seem so much sharper
An older sibling tasked with taking care of their younger(s) becuase their mom was taken, and the older is the only one who can take care of them, and then, due to a father figure stepping in, losing some (then most) of that love and care, especially through the resets, becuase the younger siblings aren't the ones who are cared about, so why would the love be fostered?
And ari doesn't care at all anymore, apathetic becuase of the vexing that her 'dad' did, now completely uncaring of the allays, but she's been there and done that, and she is doing what best suits her, and shes on fables side, for convenience, and becuase she knows how itll play out for the very fact she has seen what he can do and she has seen the similarites between the two 'father figures' and she is not loyal, and she knows better then to be (even if she actually had any emotional stake in it), and it's something about her having such a clear perspective,
And she was never a failure like icarus fears to be, is labeled every step of the way, even when she was called vaguely equivalent when she was being taken, she was confident in her actions, her only true 'failure' was regarding taking sorazas vessel, and now she doesn't care
And icarus is struggling with that, they have shattered evrery oportunity to undo, they can't go back, but every step further they get just seems a step further in a grave, and they are leaning on their father, on fable
And fable leads them like soldiers to wherever he deems fit,
And arisanna has been there, and it's just, something about how much more pointed that makes her comments
She's been there, and done that,
She knows how to work it, knows how they don't, aren't

okay actually gonna use some of my data to open tumblr and make this post because outsiders apo+owen makes me want to start biting.
the thing about outsiders apo and owen is that at the end of beach episode, owen comments on what a lovely day they've had together and says, "i can't wait to do this all again tomorrow." and there's no way he doesn't know, okay? multiple characters demonstrate over the course of the day that they remember what happened before this -- even if they hope otherwise, they know they're going back to the maze eventually; this day is an impossible and perfect dream. and look how they choose to spend it. apo and owen see the sun setting and hear the cries of the gulls melt into the birdsong of the clearing and the thing they do at the end of this unrepeatable day, knowing they will never have this moment again, is turn to one another and promise they care. they've been running all over the place reminding each other all day: i care about you, you're my best friend, i want to spend time with you, i trust you so much i'll jump down into the mouth of a volcano with you. whatever happens before or after this, it matters that for this one day they sought each other out and played stupid games and shared food. it matters that this was real for them. it matters that at the end of it all, they could not bear to part without saying first: hey, you're important to me. do you get it?
and also, do you ever think about that conversation apo and owen have before the second clearing about what they're going to do next, what they think about the maze, and just before they go off their separate ways, they say, "i trust you," to each other in the same tone most people say "i love you"? do you ever think about how the roots of that trust went so deep in owen that when it was broken, his faith in the entire clearing was broken? no one can be trusted, he said. everyone was working against me, he says. he decides something must be profoundly wrong with this world, because it is a world where apo was able to look him in the eye and lie him. it CAN'T just be about apo because his care for apo was so fundamental to his understanding of the world -- there is no place he can go or word he can say now without remembering him. owen's world is (was) the maze, the clearing, rasbi, apo. and even after all that, owen still says the next time he sees apo, it will be to drag him to the maze's exit. even desperately hurt and swearing to himself that they're done, leaving apo behind for real is unthinkable!! do you get it??
and the prison visit itself: i hope you know you were everything to me, apo. of course i regret it, owen, i lost you. apo made cheesecake. owen says, don't try to make me pity you, and i thought, oh, it's absolutely working, isn't it? you wouldn't be half so upset if you didn't care. if you could escape your care for him, you wouldn't have spent so much time circling the prison, pulled by the gravity of apo, apo, apo. and then the escape, and apo's memory becomes part of owen, hanging over him as a haunting, as much a real presence as the living person. "he's dead" becomes nearly like a chant -- owen wants nothing more than to put those memories to rest (he says) but he also can't stop saying it: he's dead, he's gone, he's been dead for months. as if he needs to remind himself, somehow. apo's gone, apo's gone, apo's gone. but owen can't bring himself to stop saying his name. can anyone hear me. do you understand what i'm saying??
after reunion, i spent a lot of time yelling in a friend's DMs about how owen should have died with apo -- that killing should have killed owen with it, and in some sense maybe it did, but owen walks out of that encounter still breathing and apo is still right there with him. this is the start of something new and apo was there for its birth. how do you silence the voices of the people you kill, he asks magic, because he can never seem to. some of us hesitate at the thought of killing our friends, he says to rasbi. i'll give you ten seconds, he says to apo, and maybe that's just a hunter playing with his food but maybe, for all that owen hardly seems to recognize his friend during reunion, something was still sticking in him. confronted with impulses he did not have the context to understand, owen thought his purpose was to protect everyone. and then his memories come back and it doesn't matter that it's apo in front of him because that's a demon, but maybe it does matter. maybe no matter how hard owen tried to forget it, it never stopped mattering. i don't know!!! do you get me!! do you get what i'm saying!!!!!!!

At this point (from the end of ep 5), the server kinda split into two loosely allied factions and I’m very curious to see what becomes of them.
as of right now the main teams (TIES, bad boy, nosey neighbours, mean gills and the clockers) are all pretty solid free standing groups and there’s been very little betrayal (aka whatever tf grian and bdubs are doing). And then TIES and the nosey neighbours have loosely allied themselves with each other on the premise of ‘the rest of the server hates us, and we need friends’. And then the bad boys got pulled into the family problem and the mean gills seem also quite closely allied with the family (tbh mainly Cleo)
which leaves us with the two loosely allied teams.
TIES and the nosey neighbours - which tbh I feel is the weaker of the two and probably will breakdown because at least 5 of the 6 people involved were somewhat unhinged last session (with bigb being the least. And then there’s the rest. Scott and martyn and Cleo all seem pretty strongly allied with each other, and all three of them are massively loyal so I don’t seem anything going wrong with those three, it’s just the rest that are loose cannons. A red scar simply cannot be trusted, and while I don’t see him betraying bdubs or Cleo, I can very easily see him going after the mean gills or the bad boys. Speaking of the bad boys, I feel like their alliance with the clockers will end up being quite weak or will somehow build (probably as both groups build up more hate for TIES as that’s honestly how I see this season going). And then bdubs. Honestly idk wtf this man is doing, he’s trying to be loyal to everyone, was called a traitor by literally everyone he was trying to be loyal to, and has an Etho problem. Despite all this I feel like the loyalty of Cleo, Scott and martyn will somehow outweigh the chaos and the larger alliance with somehow outlive the smaller one
or I could be completely wrong and be overthinking literally everything, but I guess I’ll find out tomorrow

zam and mapicc are not on the same wavelength at all and it’s kind of funny but also frustrating.
from zam’s perspective mapicc is a monster who hates him and is planning to torture him until he gets bored enough to get rid of him permanently. from mapicc’s perspective, it’s somehow both way more simple and way more complicated than that - he does what he does because it’s something to do with zam who is always around but who cannot be interacted with normally anymore, and because mapicc was genuinely hurt by zam’s betrayal, not even specifically of team awesome but of himself, and he seems to constantly want to remind zam that he exists and can’t just be walked away from. at the same time, mapicc sees his zam-stalking as some playful thing and the two of them on a more even level with zam plotting against him, not as the victimizer-victim thing that it actually is.
take the ‘mapicc room’ in zam’s castle for example - for zam, it’s full of terrifying, multi-layered meaning, and is something he was so freaked out by that other people visiting the castle got scared of it by osmosis. but for mapicc, all the living-in-zam’s-walls stuff was just a little joke, maybe with the potential to be something bigger, but quickly dropped and never picked back up again. he put down redstone to represent his line video on it (reddoons thought it was meant to represent blood) and armor (which zam was too afraid to touch for ages) because “i can afford to donate to prince zam.” he then proceeded to forgot about the room and only remembered it and told zam about it after zam had met with leviathan, which zam took as a threat when really it was more of a “hey look at my dropped project” type thing.
everything actually escalated after leviathan formed because before that mapicc and zam were on slightly more casual terms; they could be around each other even if, unbeknownst to mapicc, zam was terrified the entire time. but after making a deal with leviathan and discovering the ‘mapicc room’ zam was so consumed by the fear of leviathan “getting rid of him” once he lost his for-subz’s-honour fight that he actually ended up escalating the situation - supposedly to make a statement, but it seemed like it was more to get it over with and maybe take back some control over what he saw as an inevitable ban. this behaviour was so bizarre to mapicc and ro, who did not understand what was going on with zam mentally, that the only way they could rationalize it was to assume that it was all part of some mastermind plan and that there were some Resistance that zam was the leader of - so they later tracked him down to stop it, when actually zam had only just been taken in by subz.
mapicc sees zam lashing out in fear as arrogance or malice, and himself and zam as playing some chess game that zam is either annoyingly throwing or possibly masterminding based on how weird his actions seem to him. he understands that zam is kinda scared of him - in mapicc’s mind people should be kinda scared of him - but he does not seem to get that zam does irrational things because mapicc has put him in a mental hell and he can’t function properly. and so to mapicc it seems reasonable that he could drop the game to help zam out against pangi - maybe just temporarily, maybe it’s a trap, maybe he actually wants to reconcile - but he doesn’t seem to understand that that bridge is so totally burnt that zam can’t understand why he would even offer to do that.
even as far back as the stream where mapicc first found Sanctuary (is it even called that anymore?), he’s always been insisting to zam that he’s not evil, that it’s not like he’s going to destroy his castle or anything, that the other people on the server are way worse than he is, which confuses zam because what point exactly is mapicc trying to make? well, the point seems to be that mapicc is hurt that zam would hate him for being “evil” and then side with people like clownpierce who, as far as mapicc sees it, currently have way eviler plans. mapicc was even wondering if zam could be in on evil plans because of this perceived hypocrisy. he does not see that zam’s hatred for him is not ideological, it’s deeply personal, because somehow he doesn’t understand how much he’s messed up zam.

For awhile, Heroes and civilians alike (Villains didn’t particularly care since as he didn’t get in their way) thought the villain ‘Risk’ had ‘reflection’, the ability to, you guessed it, reflect attacks after they’d hit.
Though it was similar, it wasn’t right. They figured that out, unfortunately, catching inconsistencies with every new fight—if he was hit by, say, a punch (which were surprisingly common in a super-powered world), he would stumble back normally. If he were hit by a fire blast, often belonging to the hero Ignite, he would be burned and turn-tail.
But when Eight shot blue energy at him through his signature staff? It would turn-tail, changing direction to hit it’s user (Risk seemed to have it out for Eight, for whatever reason—he’s almost never been hit by one of the man’s attacks, taking extra care to dodge and throw back).
When a sound wave from Dream, the no.1 villain who saw him as a nuisance (which he took great pride in), didn’t move fast enough, it twisted without a pause, often hitting the man back. This was a slightly better outcome, for the heroes—if Dream had a ‘rival’, which is what the media called it for simplicity, he’d be occupied, giving the heroes more time to prepare.
But even then, their efforts weren’t enough. Even distracted, Dream worked quickly, and with Risk in the mix, it was getting harder and harder to hold their ground.
Dream, you see, was objectively superior to most all heroes power-wise. He was one of the rare few to be born with three powers—Weaponised sound, wingless-flight, and enhanced speed. He could move swiftly and without care for gravity, allowing him to dodge with ease: sound-waves were forceful and you never knew where they’d come from (the chatter of civilians, the sound of attacks colliding, your own voice. Silence was highly recommended), making for strong attacks.
He could only be defeated by The Blade, the no.1 hero, who had superhuman strength, reflexes, and stamina. But even then, if Dream left the ground, it was over. The strength let him jump higher, yes, but he couldn’t stay higher.
So in short, Dream was powerful. And fast. And above every hero even if they loathed to admit it.
So with another villain on the streets who could very possibly rival and weaponise that power? They’d be screwed. Absolutely screwed.
So patrols went up. They needed to catch one—most likely Risk—before the two teamed up (though that didn’t seem likely, it was possible). Heroes patrolled more often, working to the point of exhaustion. Dream seemed to be playing it safe and, despite his cockiness, laying low.
Risk was doing the same, somewhat. He showed up every so often, narrowly evading capture and leaving damage in his wake, but otherwise wasn’t sighted.
And, thanks to the fatigue and need for more assets, nobody seemed to notice when two people—both blonde with opposite colour schemes, coincidentally listed as powerless—were hired at hero-tower. And worse, nobody noticed the signature lime of a villain or the vibrant red of a reflector creeping into the supposed haven.
And when they do?
Well, it’ll be far too late by then. Maybe it already is: they’re armed with information and files, a begrudging alliance, and the realisation they’re a dynamic duo when they tolerate the other.
So, safe to say, hero-society, or at least the tower, is screwed.
Sorry if this got confusing in any way. This was originally meant to be another prompt (Tommy with reflection powers) but it got out of hand and somehow became a full AU.
To clear things up, Risk is Tommy, a notorious villain with a a type of telekinesis that lets him control powers. Though not mentioned, he can also manipulate his own energy (being red, which morphs and solidifies at will).
Eight is Wilbur, who uses the same (condensed energy but blue, which burns more than solidifies and often harms the user (hence the staff)). The Blade is Techno, ofc, who has superhuman strength, speed, stamina and reflexes.
Dream is, well, Dream, who weaponises sound waves, can fly, and walks fast (a deadly combo, I know /j). Ignite, though only mentioned in one line, is Sapnap, able to generate fire with his hands and withstand both hot and cold temperatures.

having incoherent thoughts actually
(mostly a small collection of everything I can discern that gives us insight into sherb and raes relationship as children)
(also known as a long post about c!sherbert and Rae and siblings-)
(Also also known as mildly incoherent long post time that it just word vomit and stringing along thoughts-)
so like. Going through the notes in order, at the end of notes 1 there is the hint that Sherbert maybe isn't the best older sibling, with the '-lled me stupid because I got her name wrong'
do I Uh. Have to go through notes 2? Do I. Do i.. cause. Cause that was pretty fuckin shitty. There's nothing I can say that will excuse that Or what they said to him. I get stress and everything going on, but I'm not sure there is an expectation for that. Sherbert shouldn't have done that, and was obviously not being a good older bother in this moment.
first entry of notes number three that we can see (post notes 2, and presumably post sherb ripping it up) talks about sherb saying that they shouldn't go into Isla room anymore. With the addition of the fact the both of them won't have sleepovers in there anymore. Sherbert couldn't have cared that little about him, if they had sleepovers presumably fairly regularly in their mothers room.
Just. Sherb calling Rae weird. (Entry 9 that we can see) which. Might just be a sibling thing, but ┐(゚~゚)┌
Entry 11 that we can see, Sherb caught Rae sneaking out, Rae says they're going to tattle. That they always do. Gives the impression that sherb just wants rae in trouble for one reason or another. (However, my dad likes to tell us that tatting is okay if someone at risk at getting hurt. Sneaking out isn't exactly harmless. On the other hand, we don't know what the other events they've tattled about, so I cannot say if this was a concerned older sibling tattle or a needing and wanting a younger sibling to get in trouble tattle.)
Entry 12 of notes 3, and '-eld notes' both reference rae questioning something that someone (presumably sherbert, as said person is referred to with they/them) else presumably doesn't believe, saying that it was made up. Which. Maybe listen to your sibling when they say they've seen/heard/experienced someone?? I don't know, it doesn't seem like Sherbert believed mush that Rae said. (It is important to note entry 12 was labeled a day after entry 11.)
Also in '-eld notes' "we can't get it to stop" in reference to their eye implies they were both trying to get it to stop. What Rae said today on stream pushes doubt on the idea that Sherbert wanted that help.
(I. Going on a side tangent about the eye and the eye patch and sherb throwing it away and laughing at Rae trying to help and Rae being upset. Um. Okay. So um. As the older sibling you are. Expected to be the one younger siblings lean on when your parents are busy or when your parents cant or they're unavailable or or or. And with that, you're expected to really only need help from either, a, your parents, or b, another older sibling (who is older than you). now sherbert didn't have any of those. they're without fable. Without Isla. (Without anyone above you, these are just 'expectations' you set for yourself.) They are the older sibling, they're not supposed to need help from their younger sibling. Sometimes you don't want help from your younger sibling. The eye thing must've hurt and they must have been very stressed about it on top of everything else, and and and. The laugh could've been something bitter. It also could have not. Them throwing the eyepatch away could've been them hold themself to "expectations" they dont have to, not thinking theyvneed their younger siblings help. (not wanting it.) We don't know, we weren't there, but also just. I don't know if that moment was sherbert being a shity older sibling or sherbert being a worn out done with the world (still kinda shitty because they didn't explain why) older sibling. Dont know. Just. Side tanget.)
(Rae being upset about it is perfectly valid. He has his right. I'd be upset to if my older sibling was hurting and I tried to help and they wouldn't let me and they laughed at me because how dare I try to fix something and how dare i try to care about them. I'd very very upset.)
Side tangent over. Alone together. Alone together. This book haunts my dreams /vvpos. Do I take it at face value? Do I look further into it? I don't know. So. This is mostly just. Quotes I'm pointing out because how do I take them after that lore today? I don't know-
So, first, "masking their disappointment as they put on a forced smile for the boy beside them."
This too, "In spite of every disagreement and struggle, their bond was unlike any other." Implying that despite everything priorly mentioned, they were still close.
And. And this. ""Rae, I'm glad I have you""
Also all the memories fable showed sherb and Rae the two of them seem. Really close. Rae clinging to sherbert and sherbert talking very gently to Rae.
Also. Also that one message in spoilers about sherb and the corruption and how its probably very similar to how a younger sherbert acted and heyhays response. that too. Actually-
And. That's. All I'm looking for right now. I'm sure there's more and yall are very free to add on and correct me (please please do correct me if I made a mistake) I'm being very incoherent and just having older sibling vs. younger sibling thoughts right now, so I'm not sure if any of this makes sense-

DSMP x Warrior Cats AU idea, but Syndicate-centric
What if the Syndicate got reincarnated into the Warrior Cats world (with no real memories from DSMP, only vibes) and each simultaneously grow up in a different clan trying to dismantle the hostile cat governments/politics in different ways (Techno tries to take down the government, Ranboo tries to fuse all four clans together...) They meet up at gatherings and through shared/similar beliefs and vague reincarnation recognition gradually become friends.

I think that about Tubbo’s ending too like the entire point of the March Stream with Aimsey is that’s HE’S THE ONE WHO LIVES and it just makes no sense for HIM to be the one to die when like. He’s the one who has a kid. He’s the one who’s still alive. He’s the one who grieved properly and got closer than literally any of them (besides Eret) to properly healing.
My tags Uh got so long tumblr glitches and I can’t see half of them sorry op
Sorry to harp on about the DSMP ending, but I wanted to discuss why Tommy dying is a poor ending to his story arc.
It’s not that I require stories to have happy endings, indeed I quite enjoy a good tragic ending if done right. However, the Dream SMP is not written like a tragedy where a downer ending fits.
Nor is the finale even properly portrayed like one, as any intensity you get from them all dying as the alarms go off and its too late - which I’d actually argue is one of the stronger moments in the stream, is quickly undercut with the revelation that the characters wake up without memories.
Indeed, the finale would have been better if the last moment was the alarms sounding and a cut to black before after a long enough pause the words DSMP s2 will return appear on the screen. (Given you’re doing a second season obviously, which I don’t think should happen but that’s beside the point here.)
That’s the thing with this finale, every choice made is seemingly at odds with every other choice, the whole is far worse than the sum of its parts.
Now then, there’s Tommy arc. Until the finale, it was a coming of age story. Tommy started young and foolish but with a good heart and then as he grew up, trauma happened and he’s broken down and we watch him gradually rebuild himself. The natural ending to this sort of story is simply to see him fully realise himself and find some sort of serenity without losing his spirit. The adventures continues type of ending would be good as well to imply he never settles down but continues living a hectic life in a positive way
You can do a darker ending to this sort of story of course. An interesting one is to see himself slowly become darker, essentially a villain origin story as a response to being rejected he makes the wrong choices. This was actually explored post-exile where Tommy nearly becomes a version of himself he hates but he rejects it at the last minute. Given its already been explored and rejected once, its no longer such a viable option.
For a different type of tragedy, where he dies, I think that would potentially work in service to other characters stories. Imagine him attempting to do the right thing and getting no help from anyone and his death is a wake-up call to everyone, a tragic loss that they failed to prevent and now vow to do better and that guilt drives them. Again, the DSMP already explored this when he died in prison and the people who knew dealt with their guilt at his passing so again its not a very fitting ending.
So, how about Tommy sacrificing himself for his friends? That’s essentially the ending we got. Tommy goes into prison to kill Dream and Punz, accepting he will have to die as well.
Well the issue is that the story has also explored Tommy having suicidal thoughts. Its a really unsatisfying ending for that sort of character to commit to a plan that involves their own death. Good deaths in fiction tend to be sudden, unexpected ones. Characters that willing walk to their own deaths are the ones that should live, this is even more true for characters who have specifically struggled with living in the past. Their happy ending is in living well.
That’s simple where the trajectory for Tommy’s arc has been going forever. That realising that all the struggle and torment have been worth fighting through. It’s incredibly hopeful and optimistic and yeah the darker the story, the more important that the ending is worth it.
Good tragedies are often the opposite. They’re often stories where everything is great and seems well and then they meet a sad end. That’s powerful too.

Martyn: “Would you wanna hit my—hit the home-gym after with me and R-Dog? Would you?” R-Dog? R-Diggity-Dog? In my Athenian Rhapsody? Go on then. Oh my god, crumbs, chat, crumbs.
Martyn raids Ren because Ren goes on a tangent whenever Martyn raids him + "Marteen has broken my brain" "cranked up the drama just in time"
Ren: Martyn gives me the confidence to theater. Otherwise I'm too embarrassed
Martyn playing Battle Box on MCCI and facing an opponent with a Ren skin: think I’ve got to get out the way—oop—No! Not like this! Not to a Ren, not to a Ren! Ah okay good. I got so distracted. I couldn’t do it, my head and my heart were-were having conflicting thoughts.
Ren saying he feels “man love” for Martyn
Ren wanting to do RP with Martyn on Pirates SMP: If Martyn and I are gonna RP something well, it's probably gonna be pirates, let's be honest. We would do pirates really well. 'Cause basically, a Ren-Martyn RP would just be the same as the King and the Hand RP
Ren calls Martyn his favourite theater kid

Note
Did you have any lore ideas for Secret life that you couldn’t flesh out? (Such as the fact that the secret keeper has a reverse watcher symbol on it, and has a lot of references to the watchers tied with it, etc)
I do plan to do a post Secret Life stream where we talk through the SMP and decide how it fits the Eyes And Ears AU, people can point out moments or queries and we'll figure them out together
I've got so many random ideas and tangents for the new symbol, the statue having a physical presence and even the addition of new players. There's lots to unpack!
