Getting in a duel with a teacher was never high on his list of things to do. In fact it wasn't on his list of things to do, and there was a lot of weird things on that list.

I've recently bought (and finished) the arcane Ascension series, and was looking through Tumblr for some other fans of the series to follow, and kept seeing references to a server, presumably on discord. Is it a public server for fans? If so, I'd quite like to join to talk with other people about these books, if that's okay.

Hi! So glad to have another fan on Tumblr, most of the poeple stick to the discord server. Which is fair, because it's an amazing place!

The Climbers Court is the Official Andrew Fan Server (or as close to it as it gets, given how Rowe himself is in it and makes the occasional appearance), and it is public! Here is the link, which can also be accessed through Rowe's website.

💡 What’s the weirdest thing you’ve been inspired by?

The one-act play a friend wrote that I performed in, while in high school. Without a doubt. Though I suppose it might be more accurate to say finding the old pictures of me performing in that play.

⏰ What time of day do you prefer to write?

Either at like, 8-10 in the morning or 10-12 at night. Unforataly my schedule doesn't really let me do either of those, but I make do

Assumptions based on what I have seen, of your Tumblr. You like getting asks, and you either write a bunch or have lots of fanfic idea, and that is probably your main way for engaging with fandom.

I like meeting and talking with people, so yeah I like getting asks. And you would be correct on both the fic parts. I write a lot, but I still have many that I can't get down because of limited time and energy.

So I'd say in those aspects it's pretty accurate. Thanks for sending some in! 😆

I read "aromantic" as "aromatic" and was confused for a second on why there'd be a day dedicated to spices

I use to do that all the time when I first started using the word Aromantic. I still have to triple-check it.

I've never done anything Time Travel related, but recently I've had a very strong urge to try it. I feel like there are a few others as well but for the life of me I can't remember any of them

reverse assumption: you were emotionally destroyed by the ending of dark talent and didn't love it

I was emotionally destroyed by it when I first read it, and at the time didn’t love it. Still don’t, but now I understand why it happened the way it did. 

Doesn’t stop me from thinking about other ways it could have gone though.

Favorite milkshake flavor? Mmm, a hard one. I don’t exactly have a lot of places that serve great milkshakes around me. My first instance is to say hot fudge because that typically a safe bet. But if I could find a good peanut butter cheesecake one, or mint chocolate, I think I’d like those. 

And for dinner dates or brunch dates, without a second thought, brunch date. I am almost always down for that kind of food, and I find it to just be more comfortable for most people and conversations.

Ay what order of knights radiant do you think the princess tutu main cast fits in? personally i hc Lightweaver Fakir and Truthwatcher Autor but idk about the others

Ohh! Yes, Fakir is most defiantly a Lightweaver. I mean if we compare his and Shallan’s backstories they match up as a near match. Autor could be a Truthwatcher, or maybe an Elsecaller, as he sees very into bettering himself and reaching his full potential and that’s what they're about. 

My first thought was Duck was Edgedancer but the first paragraph on Willshapers goes The Willshapers believe strongly that all people should be free to make their own choices. Their oaths are themed toward freedom and letting people be free to express themselves and make their own way in life. Which seems very close to her, but might be more for the series in general. 

Not sure about Rue. A part of me says that it would be Elsecaller or Dustbringer but I’m really not sure. That might just be because the little slogan-ney things underneath are about potential and self-mastery, which seem true about her. I’m just not sure about how she fits the other parts

Do you have Princess Tutu or Star Wars AUs? Sorry I just didn't see any on the tags in your blog, what are they about?

I do! I actually have several for Star War, and one for Tutu. I just haven’t posted about them. I’ll explain the Tutu under the cut, but here's a list of some of the Star Wars ones. 

Luke and Ham meet pre- ANH, when Han agrees to work for Owen because he needs to stay on the down-low and needs any money he can get. 

A kind of Danny Phantom inspired AU where Luke and Leia are Half-ghosts

A modern AU where Luke and Leia get separated at birth but still end up with their mom and dad (Anakin has Luke, Padme has Leia) the twins end up becoming pen pals for school (And does anyone know if that’s actually a thing because it wasn’t at mine)

And this one (that I could have sworn was actually a fanfic someone wrote, but I can’t find so maybe I dreamed it. If anyone does know it let me know, please.) where Luke and Admiral Piett get captured by a group who plans to give Luke to the Empire and Piett to the Rebellion to get a ton money. They end up handcuffed together, and they have to work together to escape. Oh, and it’s post-ESB, so at one point, to get out of the cuffs Luke just rips off his prosthetic, which he’s not supposed to do but he does anyway.

I need a name for this it but the Tutu Au had Ahiru/Duck sees how lonely Rue is, and she really pushes for her friendship, convinced she must be great if Mytho likes her. They help each other with self-confidence, and Rue admits that while she loves Mytho, the relationship is very unfulfilling. Ahiru/Duck struggles with some jealously at first but as she hangs out with Rue, Mytho, and Fakir (who is very confused as to why she and Rue are friends) it gets better. Mytho still gets poisoned, but Rue realizes that this isn’t what she wanted such sooner. She breaks down and asks the other two for forgiveness and help. They forgive her and try to find a way to beat Drosselmeyer. They realize that if Fakir had more time to practice writing he might be able to, but they don’t have that kind of time. So desperate they try to stall. Fakir uses his magic to fuzz the townsfolk memories, making them think that Rue is his sister (which might actually be true but that's for later) and that he and Ahiru/Duck are dating. This was done so the three of them could get together to plot. And from there they try to ruin everything Drosselmeyer tries.

I’m debating how RomCom-y it should be. Because well three of our main characters and most backgrounds characters are either pretending/ are convinced that their best female dancer is dating the schools’ bad boy, while her older brother dates her best friend, which just seems pretty rom-com to me.
