overtake is so aptly named

while it started out in the middle of the pack for me, by episode four it's become one of the best of the season

the story and characters aren't deeply complex imo, but they're incredibly compelling to me

haruka seems like a pretty simple, clear-cut character at first. he's driving in f4 because his dad was a driver who died during a race. but the show builds upon that motivation, managing to give it depth without overcomplicating it

as for kouya, his lore didn't disappoint. the reason he can't take photos of people these days was obfuscated for the first three episodes, and tbh i was a bit worried it would end up being a letdown or just not that interesting. but we found out in this episode, and imo it's a very effective backstory. i didn't find it too dramatic or not impactful enough, and it even made me care more about his divorce (which all things considered was probably the right thing for both him and saeko at that time, but man what a bummer because if not for those external circumstances they probably would've stayed together?? i mean who knows all that really happened, maybe we'll find out more later on)

what i think the show is doing best is it's not overtly pushing a father-son dynamic with haruka and kouya yet, like it's not being heavy-handed about it. with the dead dad situation, it would've been low-hanging fruit and very predictable to lean into that, and i think what they're doing instead is just so much better

like if kouya had been presented as a potential new father figure right from the jump, i mean that would've been fine but, again, predictable. i think setting him up just as this goofy dude, letting him be a kinda-sorta guardian without immediately shoving him into a fully parental role, is working really well and makes the more serious/less goofy moments more significant when they do occur

and that's not to say a cheesy "kouya and saeko get back together and (figuratively) adopt haruka" ending wouldn't be welcome, if that's where they're going (i don't necessarily think they are and don't really have a strong preference of whether they do or not, bc the found family foundations are coming together beautifully either way)

but the way there's not an immediate father-son dynamic just feels more organic, like it's something that can come about with time (though really kouya seems like he might cap out at goofy uncle status at best lmao)

anyway tl;dr while the story is quite simple i'm really impressed with the pacing of this series in all regards, especially character development

Cominciamo da una delle possibili sleeper hit della primavera, con il nuovo trailer per l'originale cozy sci-fi di CygamesPictures (Princess Connect! Re:Dive, Brave Bang Bravern!), il cui debutto è in programma per l'8 aprile.

La serie è diretta da Kana Shundo (assistente di regia in Saga of Tanya the Evil) e scritta da Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombieland Saga, Taiso Samurai).

🔶🔸DEMON SLAVE - LO SCHIAVO DELLE COMBATTENTI IN MATO

Svelati nuovi dettagli riguardo alla seconda stagione della serie, portata in Italia da Yamato Video su ANiME GENERATION, il canale tematico che potete trovare su Prime Video.

Per cominciare, la serie tornerà nel corso del 2026. Come mai così in là? Perché c'è stato un cambio di studio e di staff: la regia passa a Masafumi Tamura (The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat) e il character design a Keiya Nakano (Tutto solo alla conquista di un altro mondo - IsekaiBocchi), mentre la produzione è ora in mano agli studi Passione (Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf) e Hayabusa Film (Tutto solo alla conquista di un altro mondo - IsekaiBocchi).

🔶🔸MIKADONO SAN SHIMAI WA ANGAI, CHOROI

Primo trailer per l’harem romcom estiva, che trovo decisamente più stuzzicante di quelle mainstream in arrivo; tolto il protagonista ambiguamente efebo, le tre eroine hanno un potenziale gap moe potentissimo.

A dirigere la serie c'è Tadahito Matsubayashi (Magical Girl Site) e il tutto sta venendo confezionato presso P.A. Works (Skip and Loafer, Mayonaka Punch).

🔶🔸TOJIMA TANZABURO WANTS TO BE A MASKED RIDER

Si mostra in video anche l'adattamento televisivo dell'opera firmata da Yokusaru Shibata, in arrivo nel corso dell'anno, ma ancora senza un periodo di debutto preciso.

Non conosco il manga, ma così su due piedi mi fa pensare a Lo chiamavano Jeeg Robot e, in caso, non sarebbe male! Il regista è Takahiro Ikezoe (Show By Rock!!) e la serie è una produzione LIDENFILMS (Rurouni Kenshin, Tokyo Revengers).

🔶🔸SENTENCED TO BE A HERO: THE PRISON RECORDS OF PENAL HERO UNIT 9004

Primo promettentissimo trailer anche per la serie action fantasy, basata sulla light novel di Shokai Rocket, in programma per l'autunno 2025.

Prodotto da Studio Kai (7th Time Loop, Skeleton Knight in Another World), l'adattamento ha come regista il debuttante Hiroyuki Takashima (assistente di regia in The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: U149 e Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation).

Questa arriverà su Crunchyroll solamente da ottobre, ma intanto possiamo darle un primo sguardo grazie al video promo svelato all'evento.

L’action romcom ha come regista Kazuya Sakamoto (Kaginado) e sta venendo realizzata presso gli studi di LIDENFILMS (Insomniacs After School) e LIDENFILMS Kyoto Studio (She and Her Cat: Everything Flows).

🔶🔸NECRONOMICO AND THE COSMIC HORROR SHOW

Uscito un primo teaserino anche per l'originale serie televisiva di Studio Gokumi (Yuki Yuna is a Hero), in onda sulle reti giapponesi a partire da luglio.

Della trama ci ho capito poco, ma in sostanza una giovane streamer si ritrova catapultata, assieme ad altre persone, all'interno di un gioco virtuale decisamente folle.

Alla regia c'è Masato Matsune (The Stories of Girls Who Couldn't Be Magicians) e la sceneggiatura è ad opera di Makoto Uezu (KonoSuba).

Il primo trailer della serie è qui e... È TUTTO BELLISSIMO! Grazie Taichi Ishidate (Violet Evergarden, Oltre il confine) e tutto il team a Kyoto Animation (Sound! Euphonium Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid). Non vedo l'ora che sia il 6 luglio!

Per chi avesse un vago senso di déjà vu, la serie dà vita alla commedia slice of life di Keiichi Arawi, l'autore di Nichijou!

Rimanendo in casa KyoAni, ecco la nuova locandina per Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved! Il film uscirà nei cinema giapponesi il 27 giugno.

Fall anime 2020

And wow, it’s the last season of 2020! May the new year be a lot better, not just anime related!

Alongside the continuations and new seasons like fire force, danmachi,  mahouka koukou no rettousei, golden kamuy and so, these are the new shows that we started:

100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru 

It is pretty typical isekai anime, just that it has twist and they can go back to their world every time they do a quest. I could see potential in characters and their development, but they aren’t kind of characters I would care about or watch something with meh plot for. Maybe they are building up for something cool, but for now, it was kind of boring for me.

Akudama Drive 

Overwhelmingly cool show about criminals in a dystopian future world. There is not much to say about the story without spoiling other than being so unnecessary cool that I loved it an unnatural amount! The characters, the setting, the action scenes, the animation and conversations, everything is just so aesthetic! I looked forward to it every week! Gonna miss them a lot. Just beware of a lot of violence and blood scenes (even though they are mostly censored).

By the Grace of the Gods 

A really soft isekai with a boy who tames slimes. This is that one (at least) show of the season where you can just turn off your brain, watch some cuteness and forget about everything. It comes with no strings attached, you can drop it halfway and not think twice about it, it won’t make you feel bad in any way, just happiness and rainbows, and sometimes that’s what I need.

Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima 

Women rule the world and pretty boys rap to assert dominance. That’s it, that’s the premise and if you think that ridiculous, yes, it truly is haha If you want to have a laugh, listen to some rapping (can’t say much about the quality of it, but I enjoyed it immensely, good va’s!), go watch it. The plot quality is debatable to say the least, but it’s not really an anime about the story, rather about the 12+ guys and their friendships and rivals and well... rap.

Ikebukuro West Gate Park 

Although a little bit on the improbable side to happen IRL, Ikebukuro WGP showcases multiple situations where we dive behind the back of many realistic happenings in bigger cities. There is always some company in conflict with another thinking solving it in their way is the best possible choice, not taking into consideration what happens to the little people bearing their consequences. It is of course up to the “good mafia” guys to solve it. If you are reading the Webtoon Weak Hero and are in search for some more realistic gang divisions, then feel free to give this anime a try. It has a pretty lovable and crafty MC minus the high-school setting.

Jujutsu Kaisen

Ohh my where to start xD yes, you are looking at the fan favorite anime of this season and there is no doubt about it having that title. I can go on and try to convince everyone saying it has the perfect animation, soundtrack, appearance of the characters and so on but to truly experience it, you will have to watch it. Character development is on the slower track but it is understandable since it is obvious that the series will be a “long distance runner”. What impressed me the most is the perfect balance of humor and tragedy, so if you are one to typically enjoy shonen anime, give it definitely a try through the 3 episodes rule!

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear 

A girl got isekai’d in a game and now finds friends and people she cares about. Oh and she’s in a bear suit. This was one of those shows I watched for relaxation. There are no bad emotions coming from it and you can just relax, watch something that doesn’t need you to turn on your brain and try to be happy. If you are looking for something serious, you won’t really find it here.

Majo no Tabitabi 

A witch that travels the world, visiting many cities and meeting a lot of people, hearing their stories and moving on. Not action packed, but has things happening throughout the eps. I thought it would be another happy show, but it turned to be quite dark in some episodes. Most episodes have their separate story with minimal connection to the previous ones and some are heartwarming and some are downright grim. Overall, the plot is interesting and the MCs development and way of thinking is interesting too! 

Maoujou de Oyasumi

I KNEW this one is gonna be good when I first read the description of the manga in the bookstore 2 years ago xD What you see above is a small princess who wishes nothing more than a good sleep and a bunch of demons who decided to capture her. It becomes clear early on that she isn’t your typical prisoner as she sets out on quests to find stuff to make her rest more comfortable and NOTHING is gonna stand in her way. Your time watching this anime will be filled with heartfelt laughter and love for the all the characters. Yes, some people might be triggered by her actions and personality but I do believe since I (as a person who prefers to watch shonen) am impressed with it, a great number of people will like it.

Munou na Nana

I really love this anime. MC is an antagonist, pretty much an antihero, but she was made to believe that she is the hero. She is very smart, so anything she plots end up interesting. This show always keeps me on the end of my seat. And it’s a great combination of everyone has supernatural abilities + high school setting, but with a darker twist to it. It’s one of my favorites this season! 

Noblesse

I read the webtoon and I am fan of it, so I am really happy to see Noblesse became an anime! Characters are really awesome and plot is action packed. I’m sure you won’t regret watching it! The humor, the lore and the action is very well balanced and it’s just a good story. If you feel like you really like the anime, but something is missing and you have some time, the webtoon is amazing! Of course, they actually did the anime quite well, but some jokes or additional train of thought that goes in the characters head cannot be all transferred into the animation. Oh and - watch Noblesse: Awakening before this! That’s like the crash course of the first arc of the story.

Taiso Samurai 

A MAPPA anime about a japanese gymnast on the verge of retirement, his daughter and a ninja they adopted! That about covers it! It’s a soft and heartwarming story that really leaves a good feeling after watching it. The characters are lovable and the drama side of the story levels out with humor pretty well, without glossing over stuff too much. I can’t say much about the sports aspect since I don’t know much, but it was worth the watch even though it isn’t the most amazing action-packed anime ever. But it was a solid story, good charas and was just soft.

With a Dog AND a Cat, Every Day is Fun

One and a half minute of a lady with a cat and a dog being incredibly relatable.

Yuukoku no Moriarty

Ah yes, I’m a sucker for every possible variation of sherlock homes, so it’s no wonder how much I enjoyed this. It’s centered about Moriarty, but Sherlock has his time in the later half of the show. The animation is just so beautiful, I loved the stories and mysteries and the way they handled Moriarty as a character. Also a good mixture of mystery, people being hideous creatures, main characters being pretty af and humor. I should continue to the manga now.

HOW COME SPORTS ANIME ARE THE GREATEST SHIT EVER?

Mini-Review: The Gymnastics Samurai

In 2002, the world of Japanese men's gymnastics was still strong. Jotaro Aragaki devoted his entire life to the sport, but things didn't go as planned. His coach Amakusa suggests he retires. But then an encounter comes that changes the fate of the Aragaki family forever.

I’ll be honest: I pick this up based solely on the image (poster? key image? Surely there has to be a name for these things?) that Funimation used:

Let’s see, we’ve got 1) mention of gymnastics, 2) a bright and happy color scheme, 3) guy who looks like an adult, not creepy, 4) little girl, unsexualized, 5) random assortment of weird items.

So, the vibe I’m getting is “not serious but not wacky, with gymnastics.” And gymnastics is cool!

I’m a simple person, really.

We start off with Jotaro, in his late 20s, presumably past his prime as a pro gymnast, and with few recent wins compared to his glory days as “the gymnastics samurai” in 90s Olympics, the nickname coming from his ponytail hairstyle. With his career stagnating and a daughter to raise, he has to make changes. While trying to work up the courage to tell his daughter (and biggest cheerleader) that he’s going to retire, they take a trip to Edo Wonderland and meet a character who changes everything.

This wasn’t your typical sports anime, though the gymnastics are featured and fun to watch. Jotaro has competitors, yes, but his main problem isn’t a rival, it’s having to change himself. And not just “work harder, take things seriously” as is normal in sports stories, but he essentially has to re-learn how to listen to people.

Jotaro was a nice, interesting protagonist. He’s not mean or dumb, but he tends to take things at face value and sometimes not even that, processing comments through the filter of what he’s already thinking about, and therefore missing things that aren’t metaphorically flashing neon signs in front of him.

And it’s not just played for laughs, it’s an actual weakness: he’s completely missed things his longtime coach has been trying to tell him, and it nearly leaves him gymless. He was emotionally supported by his wife, and when she died--a few years (I think?) before the series started--he didn’t notice that his young daughter started picking up some of those emotional responsibilities. So through the series, Jotaro has to learn to listen--actually listen--to his fellow adult professionals if he’s going to be a real competitor.

Don’t mistake this for a show about a manbaby or deadbeat dad, though. Jotaro struggles to balance home life and pro life, but a large part of the show is him realizing that the balance doesn’t just happen, and working to pay better attention to daughter Rei, so she doesn’t feel the need to act as an adult that she’s not. And he’s a caring and loving dad, not just a fun-loving bro.

There’s a theme through the series: whether in gymnastics or personal life, what has been happening is not sustainable, and needs to change. Not because what has been happening is horrible or bad, but because what has been happening is based on expectations, bodies, people, or conditions that have changed. If the characters don’t change in response, they’ll stagnate.

Jotaro isn’t the only focus of the series, however. His daughter Rei, and the ninja Leo they pick up from a historical theme park in episode 1 get a lot of the focus in the second half of the series. Both characters have their own issues and insecurities that show more as the series goes on: both have their own relationships with Jotaro, and their own emotional investment in his career that they partially use as a proxy for their more uncomfortable, personal issues.

The setting is 2002, and The Gymnastics Samurai won’t let you forget it, whether it’s the characters’ cell phones, or the ganguro bartender Ayu, a wonderful character about whom I would watch an entire series.

The show, while overall light, has some deep themes of attachments and relationships, how people see themselves and others, and how feeling other people’s expectations (or even what you think their expectations are) can affect you, even if you have a different relationship with the thing being expected.

Verdict

English Dub? Yes

Visuals: Very nice, modern and clean lines. CG models are used for some of the gymnastics routines, but they’re done fairly well.

Worth Watching? Yes. It’s not particularly realistic (ninja Leo is pursued by mysterious sunglasses-wearing professionals during several episodes for reasons that are explained later, but which you can generally accept as cartoon drama; the family owns a talking turquoise bird), but it was fun. And more than that, I enjoyed a sports show with an adult protagonist, and the growth the characters (but especially Jotaro) have in learning to change.

🏖️ YAMATO VIDEO: TUTTE LE NOVITÀ SVELATE CON IL PANEL ESTIVO

Nokotan, Oshi no Ko, Demon Slave, Elfa XXL, Kinnikuman, il film di Overlord e tanto, tanto altro! Ho già detto tanto? Tanto ancora, per sicurezza.

Avevo detto che arrivava entro oggi ed è ancora giovedì, no? Per una manciata di minuti, ma quisquilie, bazzecole, pinzillacchere, sciocchezzuole aggiungerei, dai!

Come vi ho accennato, c'è stato qualche problemino in corso d'opera e il lavoro si è allungato più del dovuto, ma come sempre ho cercato di portarvi il resoconto più esauriente possibile. Ecco quello che è stato annunciato da Yamato Video ieri durante il consueto video panel con le prossime cose in arrivo streaming su ANiME GENERATION e su Prime Video più in generale, al cinema, in ambito editoriale e home video. Enjoy!

Il PEAK ANIME OF THE SEASON sta per arrivare anche qua! Siete pronti a godevi un salutare weekend pieno di gag, citazioni e nonsense?

La folle commedia scolastica tratta dal manga di Oshioshio è una di quelle rare, ma godibilissime, produzioni demenziali che escono ogni tanto da casa WIT STUDIO (Ranking of Kings, Great Pretender) e alla regia non ci poteva essere altri che il buon Masahiko Ohta (Yuruyuri, Gabriel DropOut, Onipan!).

Il primo episodio arriverà il 7 luglio. L'appuntamento con la serie sarà ogni domenica alle 17:00.

🔶🔸ELFA XXL - LA DIETA IMPOSSIBILE

In arrivo a breve anche la commedia ecchi reverse isekai tratta dal manga di Synecdoche, che fra junk food, esercizi e fanservice, ci presenterà un gran cast di fantasy waifu con problemi di linea!

La regia è in mano a Toshikatsu Tokoro (Why the Hell are You Here Teacher!?, The Highschool Life of a Fudanshi) e l'adattamento televisivo è targato studio ELIAS (Seduced by My Best Friend).

Il primo episodio della serie sarà online da sabato 6 luglio, a partire dalle 17:00.

🔶🔸OSHI NO KO (Stagione 2) - Episodi: 13

Dopo un anno di sudore e lacrime, ebbene sì, l'ambiguo e folgorante drama su luci e ombre del mondo dello spettacolo (e non solo) animato magistralmente da DOGA KOBO (La medusa non sa nuotare nella notte, Selection Project) è finalmente arrivato anche da noi!

L’adattamento del manga scritto da Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) e disegnato da Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish), edito qua in Italia da J-POP Manga, è diretto sempre da Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project, Asteroid in Love).

Il primo episodio è già online da ieri, i prossimi arriveranno sempre di mercoledì alle 17:00.

🔶🔸2.5D DIMENSIONAL SEDUCTION - LA SEDUZIONE A 2.5 DIMENSIONI DI RIRISA - Episodi: 24

Sospirata già da maggio, con tanto di countdown, questa ecchi harem romcom a colpi di cosplay è tratta dall'omonimo manga di Yu Hashimoto.

La serie è una produzione targata J.C. STAFF (DanMachi, The Duke of Death and His Maid) e ha come regista Hideki Okamoto (Konohana Kitan, Mysteria Friends).

Il primo episodio arriverà da domani, 5 luglio. I prossimi saranno disponibili tutti i venerdì dalle 15:30.

🔶🔸SUICIDE SQUAD ISEKAI - Episodi: 10

Anche per questa abbiamo già avuto occasione di festeggiare nei giorni scorsi. Parliamo dell'originale avventura targata WIT STUDIO (Ranking of Kings, Great Pretender), con protagonista l'ormai famosissimo gruppo di criminali DC Comics, stavolta impegnato in un inaspettato contesto fantasy. 

Sceneggiata da quel matto di Tappei Nagatsuki, il creatore di Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- e Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Son, con al fianco Eiji Umehara, alla regia troviamo il debuttante Eri Osada.

I primi quattro episodi sono già disponibili e i prossimi arriveranno ogni giovedì alle 9:01.

🔶🔸RAMEN AKANEKO - Episodi: 12

Ramen e mici, gli ingredienti perfetti per un'ottima commedia slice of life super chill, adatta per questa calda estate.

La serie diretta da Hitoshi Shimizu (Taiso Samurai), presso E&H Production (Ninja Kamui, Monsters - Centotré emozioni… Inferno del drago volante), si basa sull'omonimo manga firmato da Angyaman, che qua in Italia conosciamo con il titolo Red Cat Ramen, grazie all'edizione Dynit Manga.

Il primo episodio è già online da oggi, i prossimi arriveranno sempre il giovedì alle 17:30.

🔶🔸KINNIKUMAM- PERFECT ORIGIN ARC

Visti i tempi di gran revival, non poteva mancare del mitico wrestler creato da Yudetamago! Questa nuova serie celebra il 40° anniversario dell'anime originale, andato in onda ad inizio anni '80, che qua conosciamo per lo più come Ultimate Muscle, per via del suo sequel sbarcato sulle nostre reti.

L'arco narrativo portato in tv Akira Sato (Release the Spyce, Ao Ashi) e PRODUCTION I.G (Haikyu!! L'asso del volley, Heavenly Delusion) è uno dei più longevi dell'intero manga, spaziando dal volume 38 al 60 dei più di 80 pubblicati per la sola saga capostipite. È previsto un episodio 0 che farà da riassuntone, però, non temete.

Durante il panel è stato anticipato che ci terrà compagnia per diverso tempo e non faccio fatica a crederlo!

La serie farà il suo debutto in streaming il 7 luglio, gli episodi usciranno ogni domenica alle 17:55.

🔶🔸OSHI NO KO (Stagione 1)

Pensavate che fosse andata persa? E invece no, anzi, gli 11 episodi di questa prima parte della serie dovrebbero iniziare ad arrivare a breve. L'idea penso sia quella di affiancare il simulcast della seconda stagione, per chi volesse recuperarli e mettersi in pari il prima possibile. Restate sintonizzati insomma.

🔶🔸DEMON SLAVE

Altro recupero chiesto a gran voce e per il quale hanno dovuto sudare sette camice! È già in lavorazione e dovrebbe cominciare ad arrivare già durante questa stagione estiva. Nel frattempo vi ricordo che è già stata confermata la seconda stagione.

🔶🔸I CINQUE SAMURAI

Se le battaglie epiche dei Saint non vi bastavano, stanno per tornare altri leggendari guerrieri in armatura scintillante! Confermati sia la serie tv, che le tre saghe OAV.

🔶🔸UN FIOCCO PER SOGNARE, UN FIOCCO PER CAMBIARE - HIME-CHAN NO RIBBON

In arrivo l'edizione rimasterizzata in HD (e completa stavolta, vero Mediaset?) della serie tratta dall'omonimo manga di Megumi Mizusawa.

🔶🔸UNA RAGAZZA ALLA MODA - HAIKARA-SAN GA TOORU

Recuperato un altro classico fra gli shojo, approdato una vita fa sulle nostre reti locali come Mademoiselle Anne.

🔶🔸KUROKO'S BASKET

La grande hit spokon che ha preceduto il successo di Haikyu!! entra anche nel roster Yamato Video, che ne ha già anticipato anche la versione doppiata!

🔶🔸TRIGUN

Fa il suo ritorno in streaming anche la serie classica con protagonista il leggendario ricercato da 60 miliardi di doppi dollari, nato dalla mente del mitico Yasuhiro Nightow.

📖 EDITORIA

Le pubblicazioni dedicate a Lady Oscar sono state accolte con entusiasmo e hanno quindi deciso di realizzare un libro sia di KEN IL GUERRIERO, che de I CAVALIERI DELLO ZODIACO.

🎙️ DOPPIAGGI

Cominciamo subito dall'unica sorpresa del lotto: ISEKAI FARMING - VITA CONTADINA IN UN ALTRO MONDO! La serie tratta dalla novel fantasy slice of life di Kinosuke Naitou, è andata molto bene e presto parlerà anche italiano.

In lavorazione la seconda stagione di THE DANGERS IN MY HEART, compreso il carinissimo OAV chiamato Twi-Yaba.

Proseguono ovviamente anche LAMÙ E I CASINISTI PLANETARI - URUSEI YATSURA e TUTOR HITMAN REBORN!, di cui è stata ufficialmente confermata tutta la serie, OAV incluso.

Avanti tutta anche per quanto riguarda ONE PIECE, al cui gran mole di puntate sta venendo affrontata a blocchi; la saga di Whole Cake Island arriverà da settembre.

La seconda stagione di TOKYO MEW MEW NEW verrà accompagnata, a sorpresa, anche dall'intera miniserie chibi chiamata Tokyo Mew Mew New Petit, che finora non aveva trovato posto nel catalogo di ANiME GENERATION.

🚧 POSTICIPI

Che fine hanno fatto DALTANIOUS, CAPITAN HARLOCK, ABENOBASHI e WOLF'S RAIN? Beh, a quanto pare si sono presentate varie problematiche durante la lavorazione degli upscale e hanno quindi deciso di prendersi più tempo al fine di poter rilasciare un'edizione che li (e ci) soddisfi appieno. Ci sta, condivido la scelta. Che si prendano tutto il tempo che serve.

Per quanto riguarda PERFECT BLUE, non c'è ancora l'autorizzazione per pubblicare la versione 4K, che deve prima uscire in Giappone; si dovrà aspettare forse un annetto per quella, purtroppo.
