Disney has unveiled the first teaser trailer of the "TWISTED WONDERLAND" Anime during AnimeJapan 2025.

The anime already renewed for a third season will premiere this October only on Disney+.

There will be a Pokemon anime booth at AnimeJapan 2025!

Special stage shows hosted by Minori Suzuki (Liko's VA) and Roy's VA (Terasaki Yuka) are planned on both days as well (March 22 and March 23). They'll be presenting anime news, potentially about the next chapter since Rayquaza Rising is ending on March 21, just a day before the event takes place.

Seems like the Saturday stage show will have other guests, such as Yashiro Taku (Friede's VA) and Horie Shun (Amethio's VA).

Yoshino Aoyama (Dot's VA) will attend the stage show on Sunday. Someone else marked as "???" will also be present. They announced the VAs for the Paldea Elite Four during AnimeJapan 2024 last year iirc, so they could probably reveal a new VA or character on that day.

⚡ANIMEJAPAN 2025: TUTTE LE NOVITÀ DAL GRANDE EVENTO (PARTE 2)

Eccovi la seconda parte del mega riassuntone di tutto quello che è stato mostrato e annunciato durante i due giorni dell’AnimeJapan 2025.

LA PRIMA PARTE LA TROVATE QUA

🔶🔸APOCALYPSE HOTEL

Cominciamo da una delle possibili sleeper hit della primavera, con il nuovo trailer per l'originale cozy sci-fi di CygamesPictures (Princess Connect! Re:Dive, Brave Bang Bravern!), il cui debutto è in programma per l'8 aprile.

La serie è diretta da Kana Shundo (assistente di regia in Saga of Tanya the Evil) e scritta da Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombieland Saga, Taiso Samurai).

🔶🔸DEMON SLAVE - LO SCHIAVO DELLE COMBATTENTI IN MATO

Svelati nuovi dettagli riguardo alla seconda stagione della serie, portata in Italia da Yamato Video su ANiME GENERATION, il canale tematico che potete trovare su Prime Video.

Per cominciare, la serie tornerà nel corso del 2026. Come mai così in là? Perché c'è stato un cambio di studio e di staff: la regia passa a Masafumi Tamura (The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat) e il character design a Keiya Nakano (Tutto solo alla conquista di un altro mondo - IsekaiBocchi), mentre la produzione è ora in mano agli studi Passione (Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf) e Hayabusa Film (Tutto solo alla conquista di un altro mondo - IsekaiBocchi).

🔶🔸MIKADONO SAN SHIMAI WA ANGAI, CHOROI

Primo trailer per l’harem romcom estiva, che trovo decisamente più stuzzicante di quelle mainstream in arrivo; tolto il protagonista ambiguamente efebo, le tre eroine hanno un potenziale gap moe potentissimo.

A dirigere la serie c'è Tadahito Matsubayashi (Magical Girl Site) e il tutto sta venendo confezionato presso P.A. Works (Skip and Loafer, Mayonaka Punch).

🔶🔸TOJIMA TANZABURO WANTS TO BE A MASKED RIDER

Si mostra in video anche l'adattamento televisivo dell'opera firmata da Yokusaru Shibata, in arrivo nel corso dell'anno, ma ancora senza un periodo di debutto preciso.

Non conosco il manga, ma così su due piedi mi fa pensare a Lo chiamavano Jeeg Robot e, in caso, non sarebbe male! Il regista è Takahiro Ikezoe (Show By Rock!!) e la serie è una produzione LIDENFILMS (Rurouni Kenshin, Tokyo Revengers).

🔶🔸SENTENCED TO BE A HERO: THE PRISON RECORDS OF PENAL HERO UNIT 9004

Primo promettentissimo trailer anche per la serie action fantasy, basata sulla light novel di Shokai Rocket, in programma per l'autunno 2025.

Prodotto da Studio Kai (7th Time Loop, Skeleton Knight in Another World), l'adattamento ha come regista il debuttante Hiroyuki Takashima (assistente di regia in The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: U149 e Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation).

🔶🔸MAY I ASK FOR ONE FINAL THING?

Questa arriverà su Crunchyroll solamente da ottobre, ma intanto possiamo darle un primo sguardo grazie al video promo svelato all'evento.

L’action romcom ha come regista Kazuya Sakamoto (Kaginado) e sta venendo realizzata presso gli studi di LIDENFILMS (Insomniacs After School) e LIDENFILMS Kyoto Studio (She and Her Cat: Everything Flows).

🔶🔸NECRONOMICO AND THE COSMIC HORROR SHOW

Uscito un primo teaserino anche per l'originale serie televisiva di Studio Gokumi (Yuki Yuna is a Hero), in onda sulle reti giapponesi a partire da luglio.

Della trama ci ho capito poco, ma in sostanza una giovane streamer si ritrova catapultata, assieme ad altre persone, all'interno di un gioco virtuale decisamente folle.

Alla regia c'è Masato Matsune (The Stories of Girls Who Couldn't Be Magicians) e la sceneggiatura è ad opera di Makoto Uezu (KonoSuba).

🔶🔸CITY THE ANIMATION

Il primo trailer della serie è qui e... È TUTTO BELLISSIMO! Grazie Taichi Ishidate (Violet Evergarden, Oltre il confine) e tutto il team a Kyoto Animation (Sound! Euphonium Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid). Non vedo l'ora che sia il 6 luglio!

Per chi avesse un vago senso di déjà vu, la serie dà vita alla commedia slice of life di Keiichi Arawi, l'autore di Nichijou!

Rimanendo in casa KyoAni, ecco la nuova locandina per Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved! Il film uscirà nei cinema giapponesi il 27 giugno.

🔶🔸WATARI-KUN'S ****** IS ABOUT TO COLLPASE

Breve promo l'anime, in arrivo da luglio, dello school romance manga di Naru Narumi.

La serie è in cantiere presso Staple Entertainment (Ubel Blatt, Am I Actually the Strongest?) ed è diretta da Takashi Naoya (Vermeil in Gold, Tales of Wedding Rings), con l'aiuto di Matsuo Asami (assistente di regia in Tales of Wedding Rings).

🔶🔸#​COMPASS2.0 ANIMATION PROJECT

Trailer e nuova locandina per la serie action ispirata al multiplayer online battle arena smartphone game di HN PlayArt e Dwango.

L'anime è diretto da Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy, Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) presso lo studio Lay-duce (Rising Impact, Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) e verrà distribuito in simulcast da Crunchyroll dal 7 aprile.

🔶🔸CHAINSAW MAN - THE MOVIE: REZE ARC

Nessun novo trailer per il sequel cinematografico della serie, ma ora sappiamo quando il film uscirà in Giappone: 19 settembre. Crunchyroll ce lo porterà al cinema? Chissà.

🔶🔸MY HERO ACADEMIA

I often forget that in Japan, anime con attendance is the opposite. In America, Saturday is always the busiest, whereas Sunday’s attendance numbers are down. Here in Tokyo, Sunday’s attendees greatly outnumbered what I experienced yesterday! Nevertheless, there was still fun to be had on the second and final day of AnimeJapan 2025!

It was on this day where the cosplay scene was more in the mix of AnimeJapan 2025. Just as it is in America, series and movies both popular and obscure were represented by the cosplayers. From Dragon Ball Z and Saint Seiya to Sailor Moon and Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, the costumes were of both high quality and showcased with care. Perhaps most impressive at AnimeJapan 2025 was a trio of cosplayers who dressed as Porco Rosso, Totoro, and the Laputa robot, the latter of which had an amazing lighting effect.
