Sephiroth having the petting animation even though he was never supposed to be in a situation where he'd need it makes me FEEL things because it kind of mirrors his real situation... He was never supposed to have compassion or kindness, because ShinRa, who "designed" him never intended for him to be in a situation where he'd need those either, but he still has them!

One of my legit favorite things about sane!Sephiroth is the fact that, despite his cruel upbringing and seemingly love-barren environment, he still proves himself to be human with his innate compassion and sense of righteousness. He doesn’t let his own deficits in the compassion department affect how he treats others—nor does he weaponize his background and use it as an excuse to tear others down around him. There’s so many canonical examples of Sephiroth protecting others (saving Zack from Ifrit), expressing his loyalty (refusing to harm Genesis & Angeal), and going out of his way to right his own wrongs (immediately offering to donate blood when Genesis is in need of a transfusion). ShinRa may have wanted a soulless, emotionless, robotic beast of a SOLDIER, but the human blood in that fella ultimately eclipsed all else. And what they got instead was a man worthy of wielding the title of SOLDIER’s very finest, because Sephiroth really was a hero, in my opinion, until the very moment he lost what made him so human.

Hi! I got in straight from highschool. I will say, for an undiagnosed adhd child with executive dysfuction, I wish I took a year or two off first or was generally a bit wiser.

I find I'm much better equipped now as an adult to pursue learning. I noticed some of the people in my year, who had taken other courses first/were older, had a much better handle on juggling life and the courseload (even with more on their plate). in that, they took more worth out of it.

the anim industry is in a rough spot right now mind you, but I seriously don't think you can ever be too old to pursue learning.

one of the first posts of yours i came across was a makayuri post. can you talk more about them? any headcanons that you haven't posted, or maybe something that you changed your mind on?

AH i would love to talk abt makayuri. fitting also i was thinking of them the other day. i was thinking a big part of makarov's love for yuri probably does stem from respect for him bc he's not afraid to challenge makarov (w the caveat that makarov always gets his way at the end of the day anyway (and once yuri breaks this and starts doing deals behind his back makarov gets fed up with him)). cute 2 me to think abt. makarov just loves to argue. ANYWAY some more general hcs for them:

they have completely different cigarette tastes. i mentioned before makarov would have very expensive taste and i think that extends to his cigarettes meanwhile yuri will just take like. anything. he doesnt gaf at all.

Most Things yuri is pretty neutral on this is how he'd get so involved with makarov in the first place. he has his core beliefs (nationalism for russia, love of money, confidence in himself) that lead him but for the most part hes 100% fine following makarov. he just hates involving civilians (russian citizens esp)

yuri really does like. arms dealing. he Likes the work they do from a pure enjoyment standpoint. its Exciting its movie shit. makarov definitely gets enjoyment out of it but for her its more like winning a chess game its watching the pieces come together while yuri likes the action As it happens. helps him feel alive.

when not in an argument i rly do think they enjoy each others company.. yuri feels very like No judgement when he has nothing to judge (bc hes so neutral) which also puts makarov at ease. like an ease that she doesnt even realize she feels/needs to feel its just like. actual relaxation. shes Just with yuri.

they rly do know each other inside and out which is why even if yuri doesnt leave any clues makarov would know hes about to betray her. like it would be written on his face. and i love in mwiii when she hits him with two gas filled missiles like. that really is how dramatic it is to her.

Yes! It's quite different. :D

Cybertronians are a mix between organic life and mechanical, making them quite an interesting species. Their body is made up of metals from Cybertron that have the ability to heal over time if damaged, but they do have soft parts, such as their faces. Their faces feel like human skin, but they are made of a material similar but stronger and native to only Cybertron.

Their eyes are robotic-ish, but they aren't immune to issues such as vision loss. That's why some bots use glasses.

Their bodies are flexible due to the many, many mechanical parts that make up their bodies. Their bodies are flexible so that breathing is easier, and any necessary storage is easier too.

The way they breathe is different from the way humans do, they breathe in oxygen and store half the amount they breathe in for later necessary usage, and then breathe out the rest... It's a complicated and confusing process but it helps then be able to survive small periods of time in outer space, in case their ship breaks or whatever.

Their breathing is also unique to each bot, like Soundwave breathes slowly but loudly. If it were silent, you could hear his eerie breathing (it's like someone wearing a mask or something).

Yes they do eat... Energon to them is like water to us. If they don't get energon, they die.

Yes they sleep, yes they can get sick, yes they age, yes they feel pain, and yes, they can tire out.
