if a leverage x white collar collab happened, how do you think each character would react to each other? would peter become another one of their fbi buddies? would sophie and neal compete against each other? how, in your opinion, would that look?
I think my ideal of what would happen is pretty much what I wrote in The Neal Caffrey Job, but I do have a LOT more ideas about possible interactions between teams:
Parker and Mozzie know each other from when Parker was younger (pre-Archie) and Mozzie took her under his wing to teach her how to be a thief (I wanted to include more of them together in TNCJ but it didn't fit)
Parker and Neal both tried to steal the same item at the same time once before, and fucked up the other's plan enough that neither was able to get the item in question (or one of them came out on top, leading to a lifelong grudge which rears its head when the two teams have to work together)
I do think Jones and Hardison would geek out over tech together. That's another thing I couldn't quite make fit in TNCJ, but Jones is the tech guy of the White Collar team, and I think they'd get along
Peter is too smart to get duped by the Leverage crew for long and (unfortunately) his morals are not flexible enough to willingly work with them, though I think El would be much more sympathetic and could convince him not to pursue too aggressively. Like, the Leverage crew would kick marks in NYC Peter's way once they're done with them and have had the big reveal, allowing Peter to arrest them, but Peter would never condone what the Leverage crew does, if that makes sense
I think Neal would want to work with the Leverage crew if he heard what they were doing, but wouldn't be able to help too directly so he does his best to help by putting Peter in the right place at the right time to catch the bad guys (Neal definitely joins Leverage International post s6)
I looooove the idea of Diana recognizing Sophie from her life as the child of a diplomat (yet another thing I couldn't make fit in TNCJ). I think it would be hilarious if Diana saw Sophie and got curious and went looking up a bunch of her aliases, suddenly realizing like two dozen famous people are actually all just the same woman
I also think it would be fun if Neal saw the Leverage ot3 being together and then looked at El and Peter with a little lightbulb moment
Ok last thing to consider: Sarah moves to London at the end of s4. We know that Astrid Pickford (Sophie's step daughter) is an Interpol agent, presumably based in London. I think they would have a lot in common, and they should definitely meet up for drinks and talk about the thieves in their lives and about how they both had to put aside their morals a bit to make sure the right thing got done and then make out about it

one of the first posts of yours i came across was a makayuri post. can you talk more about them? any headcanons that you haven't posted, or maybe something that you changed your mind on?
AH i would love to talk abt makayuri. fitting also i was thinking of them the other day. i was thinking a big part of makarov's love for yuri probably does stem from respect for him bc he's not afraid to challenge makarov (w the caveat that makarov always gets his way at the end of the day anyway (and once yuri breaks this and starts doing deals behind his back makarov gets fed up with him)). cute 2 me to think abt. makarov just loves to argue. ANYWAY some more general hcs for them:
they have completely different cigarette tastes. i mentioned before makarov would have very expensive taste and i think that extends to his cigarettes meanwhile yuri will just take like. anything. he doesnt gaf at all.
Most Things yuri is pretty neutral on this is how he'd get so involved with makarov in the first place. he has his core beliefs (nationalism for russia, love of money, confidence in himself) that lead him but for the most part hes 100% fine following makarov. he just hates involving civilians (russian citizens esp)
yuri really does like. arms dealing. he Likes the work they do from a pure enjoyment standpoint. its Exciting its movie shit. makarov definitely gets enjoyment out of it but for her its more like winning a chess game its watching the pieces come together while yuri likes the action As it happens. helps him feel alive.
when not in an argument i rly do think they enjoy each others company.. yuri feels very like No judgement when he has nothing to judge (bc hes so neutral) which also puts makarov at ease. like an ease that she doesnt even realize she feels/needs to feel its just like. actual relaxation. shes Just with yuri.
they rly do know each other inside and out which is why even if yuri doesnt leave any clues makarov would know hes about to betray her. like it would be written on his face. and i love in mwiii when she hits him with two gas filled missiles like. that really is how dramatic it is to her.

when did you start writing and drawing? was it something you've always done? did it start more as a hobby, or did you go to school for it? i always like looking at your art and i particularly enjoy your line work!
hi! thank you so much!! Both of those are hobby and I did not follow courses or have school for them.
I drew a lot as a teenager, mostly manga/anime up until around 19-20 years old, where I stopped drawing entirely (lack of time, and wasn't satisfied with my art. and that's an euphemism: I loathed it).
At 23-24 (in 2019), I suddenly got back into drawing by... drawing my first fanarts EVER... Kapkan and Glaz, R6S characters. You figure, this is basically I got here. My level and confidence skyrocketed just by the sheer power of finding my niche (tac-gear and big guys). yeah. My first drawings post-hiatus were a bit hesitant but I didn't care, and that's what made me progress. My "trademark" linework was definitely me finding THE pen settings I liked and then my style just started appearing on its own like I had found MY thing.
As for writing it's even weirder. I started writing R6S drabbles for my friend, that I never published. That was the very start of it. Writing in English was fun and gave me 0 secondhand embarrassment, but I would not have thought of publishing it (THAT was embarrassing).
When I was 26 (in 2022) I was mostly alone shipping Krueger/Nikto and my brain was like. FULL of ideas. I went "if I don't write a fic about them I might blow up actually" and wrote Remanence, basically for my eyes only (and my wonderful proofreader's). Published it on AO3. The rest is whatever the hell has happened since (and I'm extremely grateful for it).

what do you think happened to agent mcsweeten after leverage ended? do you think he ever found out that parker and hardison were dating? or do you think he always just hoped he'd run into her again and finally get a chance to ask her out? how do you think parker feels about him?
anyone can answer this, i just want to pick everyone's brains hahah
What a truly delightful question, and as you may be able to tell, I love my dear friend, FBI Agent Todd McSweeten.
As for where he is now, I cannot remember if this is canon or if I just made this up and decided it was, but I am convinced that McSweeten kept moving up in the ranks of the FBI. Yeah, he was noticed by the higher-ups because of the Leverage team, but he is also good at his job. They helped him along but it mostly just highlighted the skill he actually has, if that makes sense. If not, I can, in fact, elaborate. I do think he sometimes looks a little closer at certain more complicated sites because she used to show up at the most random sites but also ones that were really complicated cases. I think he’s thought about her and tried to like…friend her on Facebook but was a little disappointed when he couldn’t find her but he found a woman who looks a lot like her…
I don’t think Parker ever felt romantic feelings for him but she does think of him rather fondly. In like a “Oh, McSweeten!! I love that guy!!! I should see how he is…” Like she thinks of him in this sweet nostalgic kind of endearing way.

reading your mace headcanons and identifying so heavily with him, i now have to ask, what zodiac sign do you headcanon him as? i'm not sure if he has a bday listed, but if he does, do you think the zodiac sign applies?
he does not have a birthday listed and, this may b controversial, but as a leo i think hes a leo. and i think ghost is one too. take everything i said about their deep intricate personalities and ways they clash/go together and throw it all out everything between them is happening bc theyre both leos

not to keep harping on redemption (i liked it, i'm not hating on it), but one thing i disliked was the weird accents they chose to do for their cons. like sophie would often go for the deep voice regardless of the accent. it feels like the budget for redemption was way lower. either that or they became lazy and didn't want to bring on linguists for redemption.
IDK it had so much potential and i'm kinda upset that it went the way it went? whatever happened to ms. sophie "i can become whatever nationality i want" devereaux?
i will say though, redemption had some great episodes. my favorites include the one with the river casino, and the one where they're discreetly helping the one music label secretary.
Listen, I love redemption, there is a very special place in my heart for redemption. But in comparison to the original? It’s lacking the same fire and precision that the original had. Everything in the original was so intentional and thought out and was done incredibly well. The accents were spot on—and, while they were sometimes a little stereotypical, that was the point bc that is what would sell it for a mark.
But i agree. As much as I love redemption, it feels more complacent (idk if thats the right word…content??? forgiving???) than the original

oh honestly i didnt give them much thought. i was only reading the codm comics to see more of mace + makarov when she showed up. i liked ghost in them too bc i like when ghost is petty and dramatic but all the mobile specific characters i didnt pay them much attention sorry :(
