“Ah, if it isn’t Monsieur Endormi!”
Rook smiles at the way Silver startles as he approaches him, whirling around to stare at him with bulging eyes. One could almost describe them as bug-like, blown open wide in shocked surprise. “Pardon the intrusion,” he continues, “but I could not help but notice you wandering about the school as though you were a lost lamb.”
“Rook,” Silver greets. There is something Rook recognises well as an edge of unease in his voice, having heard it in plenty of the people he has approached before. Silver shifts, crossing his arms, those exquisite, alluring eyes, hued the colours of the auroras, flicking up and down. “Were you following me the whole time?”
To that, Rook only grins, feeling the corners of his eyes crease as he smiles. Sometimes it is better to let the silence speak for itself, non?
“That deep focus in your eyes,” Rook muses, attention honing in on Silver’s face. “Might I be correct in saying that you are searching for something? Or perhaps even someone?”
Silver’s eyes widen once again, pink lips parting ever the slightest bit. “You… How did you know?” At least, those are the words that spill from his mouth; Rook knows, based on the way Silver’s pupils shift to the side, one hand reaching up to rub the back of his neck uneasily, that what he is really thinking is: Am I that easy to read?
Perhaps not for everyone else, but nothing is impossible for him.
“C’est tres simple!” Wagging a finger in the air, Rook smirks. “You were sporting a look any hunter would recognise: a sharp and searching gaze for one’s quarry.” It is, after all, a look he recognises well; Rook has seen it reflected in his own face, in mirrored images or photographs taken of him. “And what a coincidence!” Rook continues, sweeping on, pressing a hand to his chest dramatically, another held out, palm facing upwards. “I happen to be unable to find our dear little crabapple in the dormitory today, so I’m out for a bit of a hunt myself. Mind if I join you?”
“Well…”
“Might I gander a guess that you are searching for one Monsieur Crocodile?” At the sound of the nickname, Silver snaps to attention, gaze sharpening and fixating upon Rook’s face. Perfect. “A most peculiar prey to be tracking,” Rook sweeps on, “given that his powerful voice usually gives him away.”
“I am searching for Sebek,” Silver concedes, confessing the information. He peers at Rook; “It isn't like him to disappear like this, and he isn’t answering his phone either. Your hunting skills are renowned across campus—”
“Merci!”
“—so would you happen to have an idea where he might be?”
Oh, Rook knows. He knows where the two of them are — Epel and Sebek both, trying their best to be subtle but failing to hide their trysts from the skilled eye of a marksman. Rook likes to compare them to precious little buds, flowers that have only begun to unfurl into bright blooms; they lack the experience of navigating life and love, only beginning to dabble into the tumultuous journey that is l’amour in their first year of school.
They are hiding out at the Ramshackle dormitory, of course. Where else would they be? Rook has known for a while, having tailed Epel there after the boy blurted out the truth upon receiving a thorough interrogation from Rook for breaking curfew multiple times. Similarly, he caught on rather quickly to the fact that Epel’s amour was none other than Sebek Zigvolt through the process of elimination — there were only so many companions their little crabapple had, after all.
But where would be the fun in revealing all this information so easily?

Don't leave yet
A/N: This came to my mind from watching a cat video. A CAT VIDEO! Those things are the best. I'll send the link in here later. Anyway enjoy!
Summary: Peter 1 and Steven are having the best time at the Knight House (get it? cause he's Moonknight? I'll stop). However, when it's time to go, Peter 1 doesn't wanna leave yet so Peter 3, Jake, and Marc have to tire the two boys out. Also for context (and cause I'm a sucker for children), in this AU, Peter 1 and Steven are around the age of 9. Hope you still like it.
"Okay, ready!"
"Ready!"
"Rock, paper, scissors, SHOOT!" Peter 1 and Steven exclaimed as one of them pulled out a pair of scissors while the other pulled out a rock. After the two of them met in kindergarten, Steven and Peter 1 had become fast friends. The two of them bonded over the fact of being the youngest in the family with two older brothers. Steven talked about Jake and Marc while Peter 1 talked about Peter 2 and 3. The two of them also shared a love for history and monopoly. And they both hated not being included in everything. It was a perfect match.
So when it came to the opportunity that Peter 2 would be running late to pick him up from school, Peter 1 automatically suggested going to Steven's house. The 4 brothers knew each other and had a close relationship so it was okay. Steven and Peter 1 sang the Inspector Gadget theme song all the way to the house (even though they didn't know the words).
Now, it was almost 8 o'clock and Peter 1 and Steven should've been in bed by now. But because he had a friend over, he could stay up a little later than originally planned. "Aw man!" Steven said as Peter 1 cheered, winning another round of rock paper scissors. "Wanna play again?"
"Yeah. I wanna beat you!"
"Peter! Your brother's here!" Marc called from downstairs. Peter 1's face fell. His brother was here to pick him up. He couldn't wait to see him, but he also didn't wanna leave Steven. Shaking his head, Peter 1 hopped onto his best friend's bed and pulled the covers over him. "What's wrong, Uno?" Steven asked using his best friend's nickname. Peter 1 poked his head out and put his finger on his lips. "Be quiet Steven. If my brother finds me, he'll take me home."
"What? I don't want you to go." Steven cried with worry. "Peter!" Jake called this time as Steven scrambled under the covers next to Peter 1. "Shhh, if we stay quiet, they won't find us."
"Uno! Your favorite brother Tres is here!" Now it was Peter 3 followed by three pairs of footsteps going upstairs. Peter 1 and Steven covered their mouths to keep from making a sound.
The two boys heard the bedroom door open. "Come on lil' bro, we all know you're in here." Marc said as a matter of fact. Marc took notice of the two lumps on his little brother's bed. It took everything in the Moon Knight's power to keep from laughing. "Hey Peter 3, I don't think your brother's in here." Marc looked at his brother and Peter 3 with a smirk, letting them know that the boys were 'hiding'. Sensing the hint, the others wore the exact same smirk Marc had and played along.
As quietly as a mouse, Peter 3 tip-toed into the room. "Oh I think you're right. I can't find them anywhere." Peter 3 replied. The Moon Knights and the Spider-Man heard a pair of giggles from under the covers.
"Guess we'll just have to revisa la sala de estar." Jake agreed following pursuit of Peter 3. Jake made his way to one side of the bed while Peter 3 made it to the other. Marc stayed and closed the door, the room now filled with silence. A moment passed before the covers began to shuffle.
"Are they gone?" Peter 1 whispered to Steven. Steven listened from under the covers but heard nothing. "I think so." Steven slowly lifted the covers to reveal himself and Peter 1.
Big mistake.
"GOTCHA!" Peter 1 squealed as Peter 3 grabbed his brother and lifted him off the bed. Peter 3 held him in his arms and scribbled his fingers all over the 9 year old's sides. "I gotcha little bro. You can't hide from me." Peter 3 teased, blowing a short raspberry in the boy's belly. Poor Uno tried to get out of his brother's grasp but the tickles were too much. All he could do was take it.
"Uno!" Steven called out as he went to help his friend, but Jake grabbed him before he could take a step. "And where do you think you're going, hermano?" Jake said before he drilled his fingers in his brother's belly. "Jahahahake lemme ehehehehehe gohohohohoho!" Jake didn't replied and lowered his hand a bit. "I got your belly. Tengo tu barriga!" The teasing only made Steven laugh more.
Deciding to join in on the fun, Marc moved away from the door and got to work on his brother's bare feet. "Hey, guess who's got your feet? Guess who's got your feet?" Steven didn't bother to reply as his eldest brother rubbed his two thumbs on the soles of his feet.
With Uno, Tres was busy blowing raspberries on his little tummy. "TREHEHEHEHEHES STAHAHAHAHAHAP IHIHIHIHIHIT!"
"Om nom nom nom nom. Mmmm this is a tasty strawberry." Tres moved from his brother's tummy to his neck. "Let's see how many fruits you're hiding up here." With his chin full of hair from the beard he was going out, Peter 3 rubbed his face in Uno's neck. "Where are the fruits? Where are you hiding them?"
"NOWHEREHEHEHEHEHE!"
"Liar! I will find them." Tres declared as he nibbled his brother's neck while his fingers scribbled the boy's knees.
With the Knight brothers, Jake slowed down his tickles a bit so Steven can breathe. Marc traveled up from his feet to his knees. "Hey hey, guess what?"
"WHAHAHAT?"
"I got your knees. I got your knees." Marc squeezed Steven's knees so gently, he was surprised when his brother screamed like a little girl. Jake smiled at the two of them, making sure that Steven didn't fall out of his grip. "Look at you. Eres tan lindo hermanito." Placing a kiss on his brother's forehead, Jake gave Steven one last raspberry on his neck. "Come on Marc, he's had enough." Jake said as Marc gave him a sad look and let go of Steven's knees. "But I wanted his knees." Marc whined playfully making wiggly finger at his brother. Steven squealed and hid in Jake's chest, making his brothers laugh.
With the Spider bros, Tres was just finishing up Uno's armpits and whispering nonsense in his neck. "TREHEHEHEHEHEHES!" Uno pleaded as Tres finally relented. Tres tossed his brother in the air and caught him. "Ready to go home?" Tres asked while his brother got all of the tingles out of his system.
Uno looked at Steven. "But, me and Steven-"
"Will see each other tomorrow at school. Now, we gotta get home before we both get in trouble with Dos." Tres replied referring to their older brother. Uno still looked sad but was happy to know that he'll see Steven at school tomorrow.
Jake and Peter 3 put their brothers down as they watch them give each other a hug. The brothers tried and failed not to melt at the sight. "Bye Steven."
"Adios Uno." Steven replied as he watched his friend and his brother leave.
Once they were gone, Steven sniffed a bit. "Hey what's wrong buddy?" Marc asked, scooping up the youngest in his arms. Rubbing his eyes, Steven shook his head. "Nothing."
"You're lying. You know what big brothers do to little brothers who lie?" Marc smirked as Steven looked at him with confusion. "Tell him Jake." Marc said as Jake trotted over to his two brothers. Jake wiggled his fingers at the boy. "We cosquillas them!" With that, another tickle game had be brought to light.

I miei tre centesimi sulla questione Geolier a Sanremo. 
1) Bello che per una volta si parli di napoletano, della necessità che abbiamo anche di scriverlo, e di scriverlo bene. Però se ci mettiamo a fare le pulci a Geolier perdiamo di vista il nocciolo della questione. È vero che nessuno sa scrivere in napoletano, però è anche colpa del fatto che quelli che lo sanno fare, non lo fanno e non lo insegnano.
Sono pure d'accordo col fatto di scrivere e diffondere una versione "corretta" del testo, ma non ha senso sommergere di critiche uno dei pochi artisti che negli ultimi anni ha rivendicato di parlare dialetto come scelta politica.
Che poi, versioni "corrette" del testo... Il napoletano è ormai lingua prevalentemente orale. Di standardizzazioni scritte ne esistono tante, con regole diverse.
Gira una versione del testo a firma di "neoborbonici" che hanno corretto il testo scrivendo "I' pe mme, tu pe tte".
Per me quell' i' è un obbrobrio. Io scriverei "Je pe' 'mme, tu pe' 'tte".
2) Il bello (e il brutto) dell'avere un dialetto che è ancora pienamente vitale come lingua è che evolve. È vero che il napoletano di Geolier è sguaiato e rionale, ma è il napoletano che si parla oggi. Io coi miei amici parlo così, non nella lingua di Edoardo, non in quella di Di Giacomo, men che meno in quella di Basile.
Certo, è un peccato che si vada "imbastardendo" molto con l'Italiano. Nella canzone, Geolier dice "t'amme" che in napoletano non esiste. Ci siamo ripetuti fino allo sfinimento che qua si dice "te voglie 'bbene", però obiettivamente "t'amme" le persone lo dicono sempre più spesso. È una parola che in napoletano prima non esisteva, che è stata "tradotta" dall'italiano e che probabilmente è il risultato del fatto che oggi, a differenza di 50 o 100 anni fa, quasi tutti i napoletanofoni parlano anche Italiano. Piaccia o no, è così che funziona la lingua.
3) Geolier frat'm.
Scritto così, male.

El personaje de Hannibal Lecter, de la película “El Silencio de los
corderos”, existe en la vida real. Se llama Robert Maudsley, un inglés que cometió atroc3s crí menes
Todo aquel que vio “El silencio de los corderos” y recuerda al personaje principal, Hannibal Lecter, puede empezar a temblar.
Es que ese personaje existe en la vida real. Se llama Robert Maudsley y en él se inspiraron para crear ese asesino despiadado en la pantalla grande.
Es tanta su peligrosi dad que las autoridades inglesas crearon una celda especial para él: una jaula de cristal, similar a la de Hannibal Lecter en la película. Tiene apenas 5,5 metros de largo y 4,5 medio de ancho. Con enormes ventanas a pruebas de ba las donde es vigilado 23 horas al día por guardias arma dos.
La hora restante sale a un patio para hacer ejercicio, acompañado por 6 guardias armados y sin otro preso en el lugar.
¿Cómo es esta prisión acorazada? Solo hay una mesa y una silla fabricadas de cartón comprimido y el inodoro y un lavabo fijados herméticamente al suelo.
La cama de Maudsley es de hormigón y la puerta está hecha de acero sólido. La jaula está rodeada de gruesos paneles acrílicos transparentes y solo tiene una pequeña abertura por donde los guardias le pasan la comida.
Infancia trágica, dro gas y pros titución
¿Qué hizo este feroz crimi nal para ser el as esino más custodiado del planeta?
Maudsley nació en Toxteth, un pueblo cercano a Liverpool en junio de 1953. Sus padres lo abandonaron al nacer y terminó en un orfanato católico de Merseyside junto a tres de sus 11 hermanos. Pero a los 8 años sus padres, para cobrar los seguros de mantenimiento de sus hijos, los llevaron a su casa. Un infierno.
Madre adicta a la co caína y padre al co hólico. Que fue su mayor tormento. El hombre abu saba del niño y lo sometía a brutales pali zas. Al punto de terminar encerrándolo en una habitación.
Ya grande declararía: “lo que más recuerdo de esos momentos eran las pa lizas. Una vez estuve encerrado en mi habitación por seis meses. Mi padre sólo abría la puerta para golpearme y v iola rme. Creo que lo hacía entre cuatro y seis veces por día. Una vez rompió un rifle de aire comprimido en mi espalda”.
A los 16 años fue llevado a un centro de menores. Había crecido y su padre temía que lo matara después de tantas torturas que le había infligido. Allí, el futuro criminal se hizo adicto la cocaína y la marihuana. Y para poder lograr la droga se dedicó a la prostitución.
Tres veces intentó sui cidarse y les decía a los psicólogos que lo atendieron que oía voces con un único mensaje: “tenés que m atar a tus padres”. Sus padres se salvaron. Otros no.
Sus crím enes​
A los 21 años arregló con un pe dó filo, John Farrel, para tener relaciones sezuales. Cuando este le mostró fotos de niños a los que había abu sado, Maudsley se transformó. Se cansó de golp earlo y terminó estrang ulándolo. Lo atraparon.
Fue condenado a cadena perpetua por el ases inato y las pericias psicológicas fueron unánimes: “nunca debe ser liberado. Si lo hacen mat ará una y otra vez”.
Maudsley fue declarado no apto para ser juzgado debido a una presunta psi cosis en el momento del as esinato y terminó en el hospital psiquiátrico de alta seguridad de Broadmoor.
Un par de años en ese lugar hizo que sus problemas psíquicos se acentuaran. En 1977, acompañado de otro recluso, encerraron en su celda a David Cheeseman, que estaba condenado por ped ofilia.
Durante nueve horas lo tort uraron con los métodos más atroces. Era su segundo ases inato y ya no podían tenerlo allí. Debía ser trasladado a un lugar más seguro.
Ese lugar era Wakefield, llamado la “mansión monstruosa” porque todos sus detenidos eran los ases inos más peligrosos de Inglaterra.
Pero ya nadie podía con Wakefield. Era 1978 y su primera víctima en el lugar fue Salney Darwood, que estaba allí condenado por tor turar a su mujer.
Wakefield lo llevó a su celda, le des trozó la cara a g olpes y luego lo acuchil ló unas 90 veces. Fue a buscar a otros presos para invitarlos a su celda y todos se negaban, hasta que encontró a Bill Roberts, encarcelado por vi olar a una niña de 7 años.
Maudsley lo ases inó clav ándole una cuchara en la oreja. Le abrió la tapa craneal y se co mió parte del cerebro. Desde ese momento pasó a ser “Hannibal, el ca níbal”. Con pasmosa tranquilidad se acercó a un guardia y le dijo: “esta noche habrá dos menos en la cena”.
Con cuatro ases inatos a cuestas y sed de más sangre, las autoridades empezaron a construir la jaula donde lo encerrarían. Y allí entró en 1983.
Es el británico que más tiempo ha estado en aislamiento en la historia del Reino Unido y en ese tiempo mostró sus pasiones: la música clásica, la lectura, el arte y la poesía. Todo copiado para el Hannibal Lecter de la película. Y copiaron algo más: tiene un coeficiente intelectual muy superior a la media.

Un film (in Italiano anche pellicola) è una serie di immagini che, dopo essere state registrate su uno o più supporti cinematografici e una volta proiettate su uno schermo, creano l'illusione di un'immagine in movimento.[1] Questa illusione ottica permette a colui che guarda lo schermo, nonostante siano diverse immagini che scorrono in rapida successione, di percepire un movimento continuo.
Il processo di produzione cinematografica viene considerato ad oggi sia come arte che come un settore industriale. Un film viene materialmente creato in diversi metodi: riprendendo una scena con una macchina da presa, oppure fotografando diversi disegni o modelli in miniatura utilizzando le tecniche tradizionali dell'animazione, oppure ancora utilizzando tecnologie moderne come la CGI e l'animazione al computer, o infine grazie ad una combinazione di queste tecniche.
L'immagine in movimento può eventualmente essere accompagnata dal suono. In tale caso il suono può essere registrato sul supporto cinematografico, assieme all'immagine, oppure può essere registrato, separatamente dall'immagine, su uno o più supporti fonografici.
Con la parola cinema (abbreviazione del termine inglese cinematography, "cinematografia") ci si è spesso normalmente riferiti all'attività di produzione dei film o all'arte a cui si riferisce. Ad oggi con questo termine si definisce l'arte di stimolare delle esperienze per comunicare idee, storie, percezioni, sensazioni, il bello o l'atmosfera attraverso la registrazione o il movimento programmato di immagini insieme ad altre stimolazioni sensoriali.[2]
In origine i film venivano registrati su pellicole di materiale plastico attraverso un processo fotochimico che poi, grazie ad un proiettore, si rendevano visibili su un grande schermo. Attualmente i film sono spesso concepiti in formato digitale attraverso tutto l'intero processo di produzione, distribuzione e proiezione.
Il film è un artefatto culturale creato da una specifica cultura, riflettendola e, al tempo stesso, influenzandola. È per questo motivo che il film viene considerato come un'importante forma d'arte, una fonte di intrattenimento popolare ed un potente mezzo per educare (o indottrinare) la popolazione. Il fatto che sia fruibile attraverso la vista rende questa forma d'arte una potente forma di comunicazione universale. Alcuni film sono diventati popolari in tutto il mondo grazie all'uso del doppiaggio o dei sottotitoli per tradurre i dialoghi del film stesso in lingue diverse da quella (o quelle) utilizzata nella sua produzione.
Le singole immagini che formano il film sono chiamate "fotogrammi". Durante la proiezione delle tradizionali pellicole di celluloide, un otturatore rotante muove la pellicola per posizionare ogni fotogramma nella posizione giusta per essere proiettato. Durante il processo, fra un frammento e l'altro vengono creati degli intervalli scuri, di cui però lo spettatore non nota la loro presenza per via del cosiddetto effetto della persistenza della visione: per un breve periodo di tempo l'immagine permane a livello della retina. La percezione del movimento è dovuta ad un effetto psicologico definito come "fenomeno Phi".

Decenas de palestinos murieron o resultaron heridos ayer en una escena caótica en la que las fuerzas israelíes abrieron fuego mientras una multitud se reunía cerca de un convoy de camiones de ayuda en la ciudad de Gaza, según funcionarios de Gaza y el ejército israelí.
El Ministerio de Salud de Gaza dijo en un comunicado que las fuerzas israelíes habían matado a más de 100 personas e herido a otras 700 en una “masacre” mientras esperaban comida del convoy.
Un oficial militar israelí dijo que la mayoría de las muertes y heridas se produjeron en una estampida después de que miles de personas intentaron apoderarse de suministros de los camiones, y que las tropas israelíes habían abierto fuego después de que decenas de personas se acercaran a ellos.
Las muertes, en una parte de Gaza donde el hambre es rampante, reflejaron la desesperación en el territorio tras la invasión terrestre de Israel, y el incidente amenazó con descarrilar las conversaciones de alto el fuego.
El último derramamiento de sangre se produjo cuando los funcionarios de salud de Gaza informaron que el número de muertos por la guerra había superado los 30.000, un hito sombrío que intensificó la presión sobre Israel para que pusiera fin a su ofensiva.

Hace unas horas, Al-Mayadeen informó que helicópteros de las FOI dispararon intensamente en la zona oriental de Al-Qarara, en el sur de Gaza.
