Random Headcanons (Fluff)

Mirage!Raphael x reader

A/N: I felt for some fluffy writing after all, so here ya go❤️

For most people, Raphael might seem like a harsh brute. An angry person that punched his emotions out instead of speaking about them. Hell, some might even think that he just punched and never spoke at all. But that’s because they didn’t know him the way that you did. You knew that Raph was a guy of many thoughts and many feelings, with a deep fear of being hurt. He had only created a tough and hard outside, to protect his soft and sweet insides. Insides you got to see on a daily basis.

When you and Raph first started dating, it was very hard for him to be vulnerable with you. It was obvious that he didn’t fully trust you yet, and feared that you at any point could turn around, and hurt him in the worst way possible, using his deepest thoughts and feelings against him. But as time went on, and you continued to stay by his side, and proving yourself trustworthy over and over again, it suddenly became much easier for Raph to let his guard down around you.

And as Raph gradually let his high walls down for you, you were treated to the sweetest guy on Earth. Sure, you had thought he was sweet and adorable when you first agreed to date him, but the Raph that came to show before you was one of the greenest flags ever wandering the planet. And that is not just because his skin was green.

Other than turning out to be an absolute cuddle bug, that refused to let you leave the bed in the morning, unless it was absolutely necessary, Raph was really a caring person. He may not say a bunch of sweet and carrying things, generally finding it hard to put his feelings into words, though you and him have been working on it for a long time (and not without progress, will I just add), but Raph really was just more of a acts of care kind of guy, instead of a words of affirmation. And it truly came to show in all of these small actions Raph did for you throughout the day.

He knew your daily routine, and made sure that you could keep that routine, often going above and beyond to remove any hindrance for you, no matter how small those obstacles might be. It was sweet, and just the way Raph naturally showed you that he cared and loved you.

This was a task for my graphic design career, the task was to make a free theme collage so I decided to make this

The only thing I drew it was Leonardo from Mutant Mayhem (it was difficult to achieve a texture or coloring something similar to that of the movie)

What I wanted to tell here is the fear and insecurity of the new Leonardo for the future, after witnessing what most of Leonardo has had to go through,Leo is afraid of what could happen to him and his family.

Could things be a little different for him? Can he become the leader his family will need?

He won't know until the opportunity presents itself.

Rottmnt Mikey is the shortest and I love that so much

also 2003 Donnie and 2012 being the same height caught me off guard lol.

I did so much googling to find all their heights, hell I probably got some wrong but tbh I don't care. and also these are the only versions I could find heights for, I tried to find the Mutant Mayhem babys heights but I couldn't find anything.

I thought about drawing over the dumb silhouette with their canon design but I'm tired so someone else can do it ig.

Shout out to all the TMNT fans still rambling on and on about those turtles, some shows may have ended like almost 30yrs ago while others 4 or so, some pieces of media may only be one movie long while others an entire comic series, but you still keep going.

Finally, it's time for my full @turtlestogetherzine piece reveal! Unfortunately, the leftovers sale seems to have completely sold out before I could get online, so I'm too late for the marketing angle. Here's a link anyway! - https://turtleszine.bigcartel.com/

So many people contributed pieces covering almost all versions of TMNT we've had to date, and my assigned role was to carry the torch for the original Mirage comics, which I was thrilled to be able to do.

I decided to lean into the Turtles in Space arc, which is one of my favorites (Triceratons are just cool okay), and also made sure that it had some good groanworthy puns. Mirage TMNT has this mythical reputation for being Too Hardcore For This Soft World, but it's actually a very goofy comic that's allowed to have a little blood and intensity sometimes. I love that and wanted to make sure the goof came through.

Here's a couple WIPs, including some of my training to emulate that oldschool indie comic style! It was fun trying to get all the shapes and shading right!
