I love the idea of Sanji talking about his crush in front of usopp and he keeps bringing bits of usopp’s personality and character that he loves and at the end he’s like “yeah I have a crush on Sogeking” and Usopp is freaking out cause he thinks Sanji doesn’t know that was him behind that mask

That sounds so much like the first Sanuso fic I wrote 😭💛💙 They're so silly. Except that in my fic Usopp knows Sanji knows-- It's a bit different. This makes it funnier, though. Imagine Sanji trying to flirt by using Sogeking as an excuse "He's so brave. Best sniper I've ever met. He's a dream come true. My hero" while Usopp is visibly SHAKING because he doesn't know what to do. He thinks Sanji doesn't know it was him and-- He doesn't want to tell Sanji because if he stops liking Sogeking when he finds out it's him, he'll die. And also, he's so, so jealous. Of himself. It makes everything more comedic and romantic.

Sanji is frustrated because he can't get Usopp to realize he's talking about him, no matter how obvious he makes it, while Usopp is constantly trying to change the topic because he truly doesn't know if he'll be able to keep lying to Sanji.

But then, there's this layer of angst right there. Usopp sees Sogeking as a better extension of himself and everything he's supposed to be but is afraid of being. And it's silly to be jealous of him because they're the same person, but how Sanji speaks about Sogeking is the way Usopp wants him to speak to him. About him. Usopp. And it kills him just a little too much. So Usopp refuses to tell the truth because he's afraid of how Sanji might react and also because he will end up disappointing the cook.

That being said, Usopp doesn't have in mind that Sanji is constantly talking about him and that he's so damn obvious it should've been clear from the first second. Sanji is losing his mind while Usopp is having a personality crisis.

I guess Usopp would end up telling him? Or even better! They're having a romantic moment and Sanji kisses Usopp, but Usopp pushes him away because "I thought- I thought you liked Sogeking? What about-" / "You're fucking with me, right?" / "Huh?" / "You seriously didn't know I was talking about you? The whole time?!" / "What?! But- But you speak about Sogeking like-" / "Like what?" / "Like he's this awesome superhero that stole your heart and I'm-" / "You are that awesome superhero that stole my heart, moron. Were you jealous or what?" / "...... Kind of-" / "You are the same fucking person, Usopp" / "But I didn't know you knew that! Wait, did I really steal your heart? What do you mean-" / "Oh, shit, and I thought Luffy was the dumb one of the crew".

And idk, I think it'd be really sweet. Especially since Sanji would make Usopp realize he doesn't need any mask or superhero name to be himself <3

Oooo we’re going on a road trip hmmm?

I’m the one driving because I’ll get panicked any other way. Kat tries to take over and Ei literally has to force him into a seat and buckle his ass in. However, once he’s buckled in and we’re on the road, he’s out within like 10 minutes.

Beel is also quick to fall asleep on the trip. But he wakes up at perfect intervals to hand out the delicious snacks he made for the trip. When he’s not snacking or sleeping he’s looking up things we should do at our destination.

Lyon has headphones in and is listening to a podcast. He stops it every so often to tell us about what they said and give his opinion on the subject even though no one else in the car has a clue what he’s listening to. So it becomes a game trying to figure out what it is.

Ei is up front with me because I’ve left him in charge of music and audiobooks. He’ll sing along to songs with me and hold my hand while I drive. Oh, and it’s really fun listening to romance books while driving because he gets all flustered during the smut scenes ((and he tries to pretend he’s not popping a boner in the passengers seat, heheh)).

((Gajeel and Levy are here too but they’re too busy making out like the whole trip so))
