She’s literally my body goals and motivation to hit the weights.

We crossed paths in college. S/O to everybody from JU btw (if any of you guys read my blog comment below lol).

She’s a retired hooper and is now a child shrink.

And she’s a lot deeper than you think. That is one thing that intrigues me about her.

I present to you; my interview with our #bossbabe of the week Ms. Jade Cargill.

Hey Jade!

Thank you so much for joining me on Roseconnexa. 

Can you please tell our readers a little bit about yourself? 

My name is Jade Cargill, I am 26. I’m originally from Vero Beach, FL however reside in Atlanta, GA with my fiancé and one year old daughter. Aside from my active, athletic family, fitness has just become a lifestyle.  

What do you want your legacy to be? Or what is your ‘mission statement’?

To ”do good” and good will come back to you. 

What is some advice that you would give young woman who want to get in shape?

To anyone-that you can do it! When it comes to fitness, its all mental and YOU are the example. It’s not instant gratification, it takes time. But I promise once you see your results, you will not want to stop. 

What about advice for young moms; during and after pregnancy?

If you are planing to become pregnant-workout prior to becoming pregnant. Get the “OK” from your doctor. Working out during my pregnancy made birth so much easier for me! Also, listen to your body! It’s okay to take brakes! 

After pregnancy, understand that everybody has a different path for “after birth”. Don’t compare, your process was different. Take your time. LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR. You will get the body you want/had again with consistency (and breast feeding!!). 

How do you manage being a mom and having time for yourself? 

Thankfully, I have a very supportive fiancé-so raising my daughter has become that much easier.  

What is one thing that motivates you from day to day? 

My family. My daughter is always watching me!!! – but also having a parnter in such an active carrier motivates me to continue giving my best. 

What does a being a successful #bossbabe me to you?

A woman who is at the center of influence-sure of herself. Confident and in charge of her life. Can be a business-minded woman. Ambitious yet focused. 

What is one thing that you can not live without?

My daughter. 

What is your number one beauty secret? And/or gym secret?

When I’m craving something I snack on FRUIT. Yes, I have my 3 meals. Thats everybody’s number one question to me-what do I snack on? Fruit and nuts. To me it’s not a secret-just comes off shocking when I tell people that. 

What is the best advice that you ever received?

Always know you are in control of your actions. Stay true to self.

people would find enjoyment in the things you create. i don’t even mean that in like a manner of voyeuristic fetishism or pity or whatever, i mean there’s genuine merit to the things you write. there’s nothing wrong with finding the confidence to put your stuff out there. i’m kind of projecting as someone who regrets not finding the right outlet to express my thoughts through. i’m almost jealous of your ability to articulate whatever you want to say, to be honest i hate word limit

and i am jealous of the apparent “purity” in other’s people’s writing (absolute bullshit) so i awkwardly and insistently project it into every facet of their personality and in every conversation we have because they just make me so fucking insecure i need to assert myself as someone who isn’t like them in any way otherwise these feelings of inadequacy and alienation will come off as even more arbitrary/generic/pathetic.

but i do think there is something wrong with finding the confidence to put your stuff out there. at least, i want there to be something wrong, because i like the idea of there being something wrong with it rather than not, and i’m sad because it has to be an idea, some hypothetical thing that doesn’t exist, that other people can engage with and still remain pure (i can’t believe i just fucking did this directly after mocking it in the last paragraph, no actually i can believe it i’m not at all shocked at some perceived “sinking lower” kind of shit so you shouldn’t be tricked into thinking i’m some kind of helpless broken person who isn’t in control, i just can’t help but fall in these infinite little pitfalls because words are, as i’ve already mentioned, pointless).

because it feels wrong, or depressing when other people do it. i want there to be some kind of inherent badness in there, some objective (objective in my subjective view) reflection of human greed or the futility of everything or whatever the fuck. because even when things feel wrong i can’t tell if they feel wrong or if i’m making them feel wrong because i need them to feel wrong. or if it’s not the thing that’s wrong it’s my perception of it, which is a fine theory in paper but of course i just turn it into this big fucking pity party about how everyone but me will do these amazing things while i’ll stay in the darkness forever because i am fundamentally broken. i dehumanize and objectify people. which i guess everyone does (it depends, if you feel the same way then everyone does it but if you’re not sure or think i’m wrong then they don’t do that, though you might somehow be able to extract objective meaning from this statement immediately through sheer brainpower which is fucking amazing to me) and it’s funny because even despite all my posturing and projecting and insane fucking babble there still appears to be this raw immutable difference between me and everyone else. it’s like a bunch of bullshit piled on top of a supposed truth because i think the truth is ugly and doesn’t do anything for me. doesn’t look good enough for anything, not even for acknowledging as truth okay just shut the fuck up and discuss the actual question

i don’t like the idea of people enjoying things i make. it makes me uncomfortable. same would happen when i made videos for people. something about it just felt empty and laughable and weird. who decides that what i make is worth being enjoyed? or if that enjoyment is real at all? i can’t just trust people on that because everything they say is soaked in their own worldview and biases and relatively unfucked brain. what if they relate to it on an extremely deep level, convinced that it’s about something it isn’t and that i must have personal experience with the topic they think it represents? (BTW THIS TOTALLY HASN’T HAPEND ONCE BEFORE ALREADY AOR NAYTHING LOL!!!!”) in spite of ALL these stupid things i’m currently saying i (of course) actually do imagine myself as a successful person every day. only my mind is so AFFECTED currently that i can’t extricate that fantasy from my various embarassing identity and communication issues. so i am a “quirky” creator. shit i can’t even create REAL things in my head, it’s just ripped off media that other people made that actually exists. if even this kind of thing is poisoned then what chance do i have in real life? (the answer is none because i would automatically destroy every chance i receive to be anything either consciously or unconsciously) oh yeah and ALSO i hate people who are happy or have discovered themselves/are comfortable with themselves and i hate people in college or with jobs and diplomas and whatever the fuck they make me want to kill myself and i would do anything to not be like them. like every time i catch myself fantasizing abotu a fake relationship i imagine them with their PARNTERS and i think “oh god i want to fucking puke”. so. i don’t want to mimic them in any academic pursuits, fuck that shit, no. if i do that it opens the door for them to eventually be like “oh i’m so happy that person eventually found their calling in life like i have :)” and attribute this to any BULLSHIT FAKE BELIEF THING FOR ASSHOLES is currently driving their life/making them happy/keeping them from committing suicide. i don’t want to give them the fucking privilege. i will stop posting, and then die, and then they’ll take huh “wonder where they are now” because that’s the most rational and best path with the least amount of infection. even if i had everything i’d still probably end it just because i don’t want THIS specifically to happen. my happiness and scuesss is absolutely MEANINGLESS in comparison to the sheer satisfaction i’d feel not playing into someone’s fucking stupid shit or dirty games for once.
