Thinking more about the Planescape character(s), and what their backstory might be, and I realized that the idea I had for the swords bard might work for all three of them:

They were members of an interplanar circus: The swords bard was a musician and sword juggler, the monk was an acrobat, and the moon druid was used in animal acts so as to avoid ethical dilemmas...

I really like this idea, and I think it's really funny. I've always wanted to have a character whose backstory was some kind of circus, and what better time to use it than the super whacky (even more so than usual) planar travel campaign?

No clue how I'll explain three different versions of the same person existing in the same circus (three different circuses, maybe?? there's a franchise???), but that's a future Morri problem.
