Okay so, one of my problems with creator boundaries as an event runner is that it's impossible to keep up with them all, because they're being updated, and because so much of the time you learn them when they're reported to you, you weren't in stream yourself. So it's a game of telephone, and there's a constant issue that the message gets garbled in translation.

So the stance that I've taken as an event runner is that I will not be enforcing boundaries, and everyone can decide for themselves what relationships they're comfortable with. This seemed like the best stance for me to deal with the beeduo /p /r wars, and then I have continued to see many other smaller or larger instances where I've gone "yeah, enforcing creators boundaries as an event mod is a nonstarter, I'm sticking with that".

And I've been mostly concerned about issues like— I am not an avid watcher of Gem streams! I might miss things that happen in Gem streams, I don't know what the creator's exact boundaries are for what's okay to do in her vision. But meanwhile I've been over here in Phil streams, and I've assumed that I have known Phil's boundaries, because they get repeated SO MUCH. Everybody knows— no nsfw, and then we argue about if the only shipping allowed is with Mumza (the dsmp stance) or if his continued gay flirting with men on QSMP means he's okay with shipping with them (he kissed a man on camera on QSMP, for example). That is the received wisdom about Phil's boundaries, we all know where we stand and how we're interpreting things.

Mechtasims - 4t3 Back to School Set

Happy Simblrween 2023! And whew, my first OBJECT set! I've worked really hard on this set, and now my right hand is very, very exhausted after typing and clicking and constantly opening TSRW...

I have worked REALLY hard making some of these functional and fully recolorable whenever possible! All credits go to Mechtasims! Further info is in a text file in the .zip file! A collection file has also been provided!

In short:

There are 19 items (20 including a duplicate of the trunk that uses a different script),

EVERYTHING except the wall calendar, the textbook, and posters are fully recolorable (but the posters have the pin recolorable)

The bed is functional! I repeat, THE BED IS FUNCTIONAL! It has some clipping issues with the pillows while relaxing, and the blanket when a bigger or male Sim gets out of the bed, but it's minor and still functional!

The bedframe is separated because I didn't want to remap everything,

The minifridge acts as a regular, base game fridge akin to the Hydra boba minifridge or the Mini-Freeze on MTS, rather than the University Life minifridge that only gives snacks.

Both the phone and the clock are functional as alarm clocks, and the heart wall light is also functional.

The trunk, as seen by the bedframe, is functional as a storage chest. It's stackable!

The .zip has all the info on polycount and categories. I have also adjusted slots for these objects!

There are two different trunks in the .zip file; both function as a storage chest, but the one labeled "Portable_LorenRose13Mod" at the end requires the "ATS3_object_chestlike_fisherbasket.package" file from here, where there is further information. Basically, you'll be able to put the modded chest in your Sim's inventory, unlike the regular version! Technically, you can have both trunks in your game, but there's really no point.

The drama is everything wrong with the Eternitydev community

This post will be long as I'm listing every wrong doing this community has done. For almost 2 years I've been watching this drama and I am just annoyed and disappointed how childish this community is. Even MrDrNose doesn't behave like a mature adult like he should.

I won't name any of the cuprite behind the harassment and death threats because this will just incite more drama. 1. Malicious harassment and slander of the Doc writer who is 16 years old! The person who wrote the document known as the "MrDrNose and the Eternitydev Community Exposed" is "Proto-Kaiden". Who is a minor who wrote the document to call out the wrong doing of the community after they were bullied and harassed out of there.

Of course it wasn't about the harassment. As it shared some other topics such as the concerning choices the developer has made toward the game (Inserting more easter eggs and a repeated 'fetish inserts' of a character instead of focusing more on building the game more), or the time the moderators refused to ban an exposed pedophile from their server after numerous minors were sexually harassed. Now these are concerns that needed to be brought up, and some people have agreed that this is something that need to be resolved. However there are a terribly amount of fans who responded with harassments and threats. These people were upset to see a document on their developer and decided to stalk and harass this minor and continually send threats, insults and tried to spread lies about them to try and get more people to harass them. They even made a subreddit which had around 40 - 50 members all dedicated to try and "Remove Kaiden". Thankfully it was banned, but the fact people went this far over a document is disgusting and not okay. We are supposed to be a "Mature Community" yet can't behave like decent human beings and went to target a 16 year old because they wanted to silence him. They even try excuse their actions by bringing up what he done (That being that he "starts fight in the server" however when I look into this, this is not true and that its the mods who started fights about him for doing almost anything,) or just making up baseless claims.

They even went as far to slander him of being a PEDO with no proof.

Of course it wasn't just Kaiden that they targeted, they targeted people who would take his side, even people who wanted to stay away from the drama were harassed because they agree with the document. This isn't okay and that needs to stop. What make this bad is that MrDrNose enables this behavior and pretends this isn't happening despite many people bringing this up. Not only that he even punish those who goes against the harassment.

On the Eternitydev Wiki three people (one of which is a mod) got banned because they argued with an individual who has been trying to harass Kaiden. Unfortunately I do not have the screenshot of the entire thread as it was removed, but I remember the people that got banned from that thread who called out the harasser for their behavior.

2. MrDrNose had the chance to resolve this drama with Kaiden but choose to throw it away and ghosted the drama.

The biggest disappointment is that MrDrNose have enable this drama to continue. Early this year he was confronted by his own fans on Itch.io (it was a crappy drama that happen over a ingame file titled 'Ariral sex treehouse',) that he could discuss this with Kaiden and resolve this issue so that everybody can be satisfied. He said he will give it a try. However he didn't do anything to even talk to him and actually ghosted the situation and try to keep people from talking about it. As shown by Kaiden himself, Nose did not dm him on twitter or discord.

This actually annoyed me but this drama is still happening because MrDrNose did not want to confront about it and settle it. When it was asked if he did contact Kaiden, Nose would make claims that he did but that he would claim that Kaiden was demanding. He did not provide any screenshots to prove that he did contacted Kaiden and was accused of lying to try and keep the drama going. MrDrNose would respond by banning a few accounts from the comment format and he would change the Itch.Io comment format and have his moderators delete any comments that asked about the drama. It is completely shitty for MrDrNose to let the drama continue for a long time without ACTUALLY trying anything to resolve it peacefully and instead hides from it enable weird people to harass people who goes on the Document's side. What MrDrNose did wrong is enable a conflict that could of been ended so much earlier if he actually care to end it. Instead he ghosted it and let people be harassed over it. I don't even get why he would let this continue. Does he like the drama? Does he like negative attention? Either way, This just hurts the entire community and it's reputation and that will affect the game's popularity because people will be turned off from wanting to share content about VotV because of this hostile and toxic community full of overzealous man-babies who will fight to the end of the earth until Kaiden is gone from the internet.

I don't think I need to explain what he should of done to make a better outcome. It's obvious what he should of done instead of what he just did. 3. MrDrNose is immature and it becomes a problem. MrDrNose's is undeniably immature, and this lack of maturity has caused some issues which make people turn on him. Instead of acting like an adult, he acts like a complete child and antagonize people. For a while now he's been confronted by old fans who has issues regarding if he will ever truly remake the game "Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski" like he said he would. These fans have lost their trust with MrDrNose after he suddenly deleted 'AEwVS specific channels' and made the server entirely VotV focused. Because of this, fans go out to call him out. And MrDrNose would respond the worse way possible by threatening to delete AEwVS off the face of the earth.

And surprise! This causes more conflict in the community.

My next example of how immature is that he degrade people who call him out, referring to them to be "Mentally ill".

This just make everyone see him as an ableist assholes. Which he is an asshole. Just calling people mentally ill as a way to cope with being called out for his flaws is unprofessional at best and will make people turn on him more for acting this way. One last example of his immaturity is when he told about why he is getting hated.

I don't really need to point out why this is immature. If he sees issues about himself such as "sexualizing characters in public channels" (Inside of a discord server that have members below the age of 17) and "Backstabbing his older fans" as something that "only children will care about," it just make everyone look at him as someone who is not to be trusted if he does not recognize what is right or wrong. It actually pisses me off how a grown ass man cannot acknowledge to why people turn on him and act confused and mad about it and resort to calling them "children" and "mentally ill" for it.

MrDrNose actually need to rethink how he's been behaving and need to learn that lashing out like this will make things worse for himself. The best salutation is to listen to people and respond like a reasonable adult instead of a child. Instead of threatening to delete a game to keep old fans hush hush about it. He should instead reassure that eventually he will remake the game, and I think the best way to convince the old fans to trust him is to share hints of ideas of what he may add in the Remake of AEwVS. Instead of treating issues about his server as nothing but "something that children only care about," he should instead admit that these things are wrong and that he should do better and make sure to not make these mistakes again.

If he continue to behave like this, the game might as well be doom to fail if he can't get his crap together and behave like an adult. People can and will get sick and tired of this and will move onto another game that will explode in popularity. I already know that tons of people have move on from the game. The game ain't exactly being developed properly. Sure it does get updated that add a few major changes, but along in the update are just a dozen "Easter eggs and secrets" that doesn't even need to be added. The game has enough secret easter eggs yet MrDrNose still add 23 more easter eggs in the game despite it not even being necessary. I find it to be kinda lazy if the developer works on these "Major updates" and half of it is just a dozen easter eggs.

It gets very annoying and get people tired of having all this crap be shoved into the game instead of real content such as new Entities, Signals and events. MrDrNose honestly should actually work on the game where he adds more entities and signals instead of making 25 easters eggs. There is ENOUGH easter eggs in the game. 4. Why am I making this post? I'm just completely tired of people being completely ignorant and going around hurting others. People need to grow up and just accept that these are real issues that can't be shrugged off, and not going around throwing baseless pedo accusation to harm a minor for writing a document. The only way the community can become better if the people in it become better human beings that behave civilized and understanding, while the bad ones get exiled from the fanbase. And I wanted to point out to MrDrNose that he should grow up and learn to stop behaving like this child that get cranky that they get called out for not being perfect. If you are reading this, MrDrNose. There is no question that your game is great. However, just because your game is great doesn't mean you can't make mistakes. You remain accountable for your deeds, the conduct of the community, and the consequences that result. Give up trying to prove that you did nothing wrong and simply acknowledge that you made poor decisions and that you need to improve. Is that really difficult? The popularity of your game will suffer as a result of the many bad actors in your community has done. Plenty of people have already left the community because of a lack of hope or interest. You can still make an effort to show people that you're going to do much better and make changes that will hopefully make a much better future for the people in the community. The best way to start is by settling this drama.

AITA for complaining that someone kept rejecting me in an rp?

I'm in an rp server with some other people and everyone is free to do rps as they wish. The rp channels are open so people can jump in and join if they want to. I saw that there was this other person (Shade) playing as the character that was the other half of my favorite pairing for female avatar ship. The group was going off a script that everyone could come from different timelines, but some people could be from the same one.

So I hopped in on the rp Shade was doing with their friend Schemes as female avatar. Shade had said prior that they were fine with any pairs, so I tried saying that female avatar and their character were dating but they went with "I'm sorry. Who are you again?" I had my character explain and they go. "Oh! You're not the one I know. You're being weird." That was a little rude of them especially since right after, someone playing as the male avatar stepped in and they acted close to them instead.

I decided to leave it be for awhile before rejoining a few days later. This time, Shade responded with: "Don't misunderstand! But I really can't! I… I know that you were close to someone who looked like me, but it wasn't me. So you should go look for that person instead! I am perfectly fine without it! We should just remain friends! You're not the same person I know, so that would make things harder. But we could just be friends it is better that way. I can't see myself being with you. Being just friends is more beneficial for the both of us. I will never date you, but we could be friends."

I would have been fine with it, but at this point, that was the 5th rejection. Each becoming more cruel than the last. That was what was annoying to me. They insistently repeated "friends" over and over again, so it felt like a stab to the heart. Some of the others (Lucy and Hearts) who usually joined hopped in and said that Shade was being a bit rude with the rejection. But Shade insisted on keeping it like that and reiterated that "We are just friends and we will always only be friends."

I complained to the mods about this and Shade was given a warning for not playing nice with everyone and forbidden from having their character pursue a relationship with the male avatar which I am glad for. Shade and Dan (person playing the male avatar) then reported me and said I was making people uncomfortable. So I got a warning too and the mods lifted that ban on their relationship attempt. They also told me i could get banned if i did it again

So AITA for complaining that someone kept rejecting me in an rp?

🌟 1998 Furby Re-Lashing Guide 🌟

A visual step-by-step guide to my own process for giving 1998 Furbies lashes that retain the classic look. There may be other guides and methods out there, this is just my own way to do it!

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Detached Eyelids ( guide for removal: CLICK HERE )

13mm D-Curl Lash Extensions ( see photo )*

Mod Podge

Tacky Glue

X-Acto Knife

Small Paint Brush

Q-tip

Lightweight Paper

SHARP Scissors

Clean Water

Washcloth or Paper Towel

Optional, Ruler with cm/mm marks & Marker or Pen * 13mm will be closest to original length, I would not recommend anything longer than 15mm unless you want the lashes to really look insanely long.

Step 1:

Use the x-acto knife to gently peel up an eyelash foil strip, and be careful not to disturb the lashes. Go slowly and only handle the strip by the sticky foil. You will only need one strip for a pair of lashes!

Step 2:

Place the sticky strip on the lightweight paper, I put it close to the edge because it'll be easier to cut out later. Paint a thin layer of Mod Podge over the base of the lashes on the strip to secure them. This is an important step, there isn't much else keeping them in place, otherwise!

It's hard to wait, but let the glue dry before handling the strip again, I suggest a good 30 minutes or so.

Step 3:

Now that the glue has dried, cut out the paper around the strip and very carefully trim the foil and paper at the sides and underneath the curl of the lashes. Do this slowly, so you don't accidentally snip the lashes, you ONLY want to trim back the paper+foil. This will make them appear more flush with the eyelid when glued in.

Step 4:

Optionally, use a ruler to find the center of the strip and mark it with a marker, I used a Sharpie because it dries instantly. It's possible to eyeball this, but I like them to be as even as possible.

Snip the strip in half, very sharp scissors will prevent the foil from bending or warping. Again, be careful not to snip the lashes themselves! It's ok if you lose one or two in this process, as long as they still look relatively clean and even once split.

Step 5:

Apply a drop of tacky glue to the back of each eyelid and use the Q-tip to spread it in a thin, sticky layer. The eyelids have a little trench you can use as a guide for placement.

You can repeat this process if you wish with the top of the lash strip where it will be applied, as well, to make it stick better. I haven't tried this myself, yet.

Place the base of the lash strip over the tacky glue and press it into position, I use the backs of my thumb nails to hold them firmly while the glue sets. It make take some effort and patience to get them to stay in the curve, just try not to slide them around.

Step 6 (Final):

After the tacky glue has had some time to dry, I like to apply a final coat of Mod Podge over the paper and underside of the eyelids to seal and protect everything. Give this 30 minutes to an hour to fully dry before re-assembling your Furby!

✨ Voila! Fresh new eyelashes! ✨

They won't look exactly like the original, but close enough for me. I'm sure the process can be improved in some ways, so if you have any feedback please share it in comments or tags!

Dear Uncle Mod - do u remember that furry document u shared recently in one post? I thought about killing my time and trying to watch it. Now it's 1:36 am and I finished it, with tears in my eyes.

It made me realize, how horrible was that mental statement about furries in early '00 when I started joining other fandoms. How I didn't question all of that accusations and I was just repeating others words that "I don't like furry" even if deeply I was finding them cool and cute. How I'm 30yo and I finally realized that I always wanted to have my own fursona but I was too afraid of society. How I was frustrated by drawing humans all these years bc i was afraid of being called furry for drawing animals, even if it's something I enjoy more. The cheat removes all twin relationships a sim has. So if you want to keep some of them, you should remove it with this cheat and manually add thouse you want by sim cheats.

16.07.2024 UPDATE For Secrets package: Small fix when sharing innermost thoughts interaction doesn't appear Finally finished the mod for identical and fraternal twins! In fact, this is where I started my modding journey - the early scripts for this mod were written a year ago. And yes, I was inspired by the Sonozaki Twins, hence the appropriate nickname x)

This mod automatically recognizes identical and fraternal twins among siblings of the same age in the households being played. The script for automatic recognition runs only in two cases: when loading the game and when a newborn grows into an infant - that is, it loads the game minimally! Gender-different twins and just not similar enough will get the following twin status:

(Yes, these are my beloved twins in my legacy <3) Unlike identical twins, interactions such as "Arguing about uniqueness" and "Pretending to be a twin" are not available to them:

And being good friends, they can share special secrets and get reactions:

This section of the mod is the largest: it currently has about 30 secrets that are available depending on preferences, character traits, lifestyle, career, and relationships. There's even a special secret for when twins are in love with the same sim x)

The twin's reactions (both positive and negative) also depend on the personality - I tried to make these secrets as close to your sims as possible!

In addition, they will not constantly tell the same thing to each other: firstly, you can tell a secret once every 3-4 days; secondly, already told secrets will not be repeated as long as the circumstances remain the same.

Right now, some secrets are available with Lumpinou's Relationships & Pregnancy Overhaul installed (specifically the M1, M7, and M9 modules). But if you want compatibility with any other mods, by all means tell me! So far, plans are in the works to add secrets with pets, as well as secrets with occult exposure for the Secret Occults by JaneSimsten.

However!!! Keep in mind that even sims-generated monozygotic twins still have differences in genetics - and therefore I couldn't just take two values and compare them, so I added the required percentage of similarity of features and a minimum threshold for appearance to be considered the same.

Also, it's hardly possible to extract specific hair or eye color values from this list (at least, I haven't found a way to do it yet - but I'll keep trying!), so it's possible that your sims may be assigned the wrong status or not assigned at all.

Also, when life expectancy changes (or auto-aging is turned off), the sims may count the exact age of the sims differently, so auto-assignment won't always work correctly.

Don't panic! For this case, and just in case you want to cast twins, I've added cheats in the Cheat Sim Info section where you can control this status:

In the future I'm going to add more secrets, pranks, special moodlets when grieving, and the ability to raise school grades for another twin. But I'm always open to suggestions - especially for this mod, I really like it <3

I absolutely despise making posts like these, I just turned 35 years old and have little room in my life for online drama, but this has gotten to the point where folks' actual safety has become a legit concern of mine, so I don't think I can let this go without saying something.

At this point, for everyone in the SMRPG sub-fandom, or any other fandoms, honestly, it's probably a safe bet to block Yoylecake420 wherever you see them.

I don't have time for details or screenshots, I'll just summarize my personal experience with them.

At first, I got plenty of asks from them about their hyperfixations here on tumblr. I'm busy as hell, so most of them got lost in my inbox, and the ones I saw I had little time to entertain with an answer.

Then, they joined my Discord about a month ago, where they were active in sharing their art and stuff. Then me and the mods caught wind of them sending unsolicited DMs and friend requests to various members of the server, often with uncomfortable topics. We gave them a fair warning to stop. They did not.

This repeated behavior ended in a ban from the server. During this, they were also repeatedly making a mockery of my webcomic's OCs by making uncomfortable art/captions and submitting the characters to Kiss-Marry-Kill-style blogs despite me asking them not to, so I blocked them on Discord, Tumblr, deviantArt, and Art Fight. I know this is small potatoes compared to harassing people, but it's important context for the following.

A day after the ban from my server, they joined up the Spiderforest server, knowing I'm a part of that webcomic community. I was even warned by the mods, who were aware of Yoyle's behavior as they had already been messaging the SF tumblr about my comic.

A week later, they joined ComicFury, and replied to me on the forum, complimenting my work. Like nothing had ever happened. Like I didn't have them blocked everywhere else. Like they hadn't fully disrespected me, my work, and my community.

I directly messaged them telling them to leave me alone. Their response was a slight apology, but also admitting to being obsessed with my work, having a hard time moving on, and, ultimately, wanting the attention.

So. There it is. It pains me, knowing this is giving them the attention they want, but I'm too fucking old for games like that and the need for me to look out for everyone's safety is more important.

Yoyle is a person who does not care about others' personal boundaries. If you ignore them, they persist. If you tell them to stop, they do for a day or two, and then persist again. And if you block them, they'll evade it and stalk you to somewhere else on the internet.

Of course, it's not my place to tell anyone how to interact with others, but I am suggesting a pre-emptive block if you make, at the very least, Geno fanart, and aren't interested in being harassed across multiple platforms and having your boundaries stomped on. I do not suggest interacting with them, as they are the embodiment of "give them an inch and they'll take a mile."

I'm aware of tactile sign language, but how do you explain to a deafblind person what the signs mean? You propably can't just show the thing?

Hello,

First, there's the Anne Sullivan method, used to teach a form of tactile sign language to Helen Keller, who was completely DeafBlind and had little language acquisition before she became DeafBlind. What Anne Sullivan did was spell the words out, letter by letter, onto Helen's palm while giving her the thing the word meant- for example, she would spell the word water while holding Helen's hand under a running faucet. Because Helen didn't already know the words for these things, it took her a while, but eventually she realized that the things Anne was doing, the tactile sign language, meant the same thing as the thing in her other hand- the letters d-o-l-l (doll) meant the doll in her hand.

But Helen Keller was a special case because she was completely DeafBlind (most DeafBlind people aren't completely DeafBlind) before she could acquire a lot of language and because she wasn't taught a tactile sign language until she was around seven. Most deafblind people don't fall into all or even any of those categories.

For someone who was born DeafBlind, they'd likely be taught a tactile sign language in place of a verbal and auditory language, and they would pick it up as seeing and hearing children pick up verbal language. When babies acquire language, none of them know what it means at first. They repeat it because they perceive it, until the day they realize that the sound they're making has a meaning- mama means the woman who feeds them. Someone born DeafBlind would pick up the sign for mama in the same way. This thing means that woman who feeds me.

For someone who'd acquired some form of language before they became DeafBlind- such as someone who lost their vision and hearing to meningitis, like how Mary Ingalls became Blind- or a Deaf person who later went blind, or a Blind person who later went deaf- it's a matter of basically helping them connect their old language to this new one. They know this item in their hand is a cup and they know that someone is always pairing this item with a certain tactile stimulation, such as spelling cup into their hands, so they realize that this is probably another way of saying cup, similar to the way they used to say cup. It might take a few tries for them to fully grasp it, but, like with all language acquisition, they learn

It's important to remember that most DeafBlind people aren't completely deaf and totally blind (only 1% of US children are), and mostly aren't born DeafBlind either. With that said, completely DeafBlind kids will learn words through the senses that they have - mostly touch. Just like how sighted people learn by sight and touch, and hearing learn by sound and touch.

For example, you could guide someone's hand under running water, and sign "water". Or hand them a cup with water, let them touch it and feel what's inside, and sign "drink". Let them inspect the splash of water on the floor and sign "puddle". And so on. The learning is done by touch instead of sight or sound - a DeafBlind person will have to get their hands on everything and study it that way.

And if the person isn't DeafBlind from birth and has acquired language before that, you could always teach them by palm-spelling or similar methods. Sign "tree" and draw it on their palm, etc.

THE SIMS 2 ULTIMATE CALCULATION You need to copy it and save on your account to be able to use it. I can't risk letting people edit the calculator so they can just wipe out the whole thing.

I made a calculator for The Sims 2 that makes it easier for me to choose certain things for Sims such as aspiration, career, hobby and to get a clear idea of who this Sim is.

How does it work? Here's an explanation for all modules!

Aspiration I rarely use this part of the calculator because usually I look at a Sim's personality and already know. This module is not perfect, but definitely comes in handy when I'm not sure. So basically you put in the Sim's personality points into the teal-colored category, and the burgundy-colored one counts itself (giving "negative" points for a trait, e.g. 6 in Neat is 4 in Sloppy). Each aspiration takes different traits into its formula, giving a certain number of points. The more points, the "better" the aspiration fits the personality. Of course this is very simplified, so only use it when indecisive (which I always am). Here is a general idea on which traits suit which personality in my opinion. Except now I think the difference between fortune and knowledge is how nice the Sim is.

Interests finally matter! The calculator has two systems based on interests that I think make a lot of sense and actually make the interests mean something other than if Sims are going to argue while talking. This calculator makes NO SENSE with VANILLA interests system!!! Interests are based on age which means kids and adults are interested in specific things "according" to their age, e.g. kids like animals and adults like culture. In the vanilla system, this calculator will end up giving you the same results over and over! So I recommend getting this mod that makes interests random and not change in the child→teen age transition.

So go ahead, type in your Sim's interests! Expand the interests panel to have them in the same order as in the calculator (counting by columns left-right top-bottom, so starting with Politics and ending with Sci-Fi).

Career Without this calculator, I would give my Sims the same jobs over and over because I wouldn't even remember all the 25 careers + a few custom ones I have. Each career has a formula and takes different interests into account, you can find them listed next to the career name. It also counts in aspiration, so don't forget to give a few points there! I add in 5 points for aspiration.

One True Hobby I often just leave whatever OTH the game calculated for the Sim based on personality mainly. But sometimes I like it when the hobby and the job align. I also don't like that certain OTHs seem to repeat a lot, so I recalculate it if need be.

The calculator highlights 22+ points in careers and 12+ points in OTH. You can also mark all the career numbers and look in the bottom-right corner for the "max" value to navigate it more easily.

EXAMPLE! This is John Mole's calculation. His aspiration is popularity, so I gave him 5 points for it and put in his interests numbers. The perfect career for him is Slacker and his OTH could be Tinkering because he's very interested in toys. But he could just as well work as a veterinarian and take up fitness or sports as his hobby, for more variety. This calculator will give you a few options to choose from instead of the entirety of game features. And that's what I love about it!
