Wrio has completely invaded my mind so here are my headcanons:

I think he looks intimidating to people because of his huge build but he's actually really really kind and nice.

He likes to tease people and he's really good with kids. Evidence: the fact that Segui...idk her name BUT she wanted him to drink out of her cute sippy cup and Wrio made it look like he was about to go for it but he chose his cup instead. He was clearly smirking XD.

He's addicted to coffee. Can't help himself.

He's a terrible cook but he will try his best.

The fact that he's a Duke and yet choose not to sit on his butt in a fancy castle but chooses instead to be a warden (a very dangerous job) shows that he wants to contribute to society because he believes in change.

He's a very GOOD motivator and a great public speaker. He tries to motivate the workers at his prison.

He's very tired sometimes and has to stay up ungodly hours hence the sleeping bags under his eyes.

He loves his job.

He doesn't like sweets.

He works out a lot.

He loves to brawl.

He's confident but he's not always confident. He has certain moments of weaknesses.

read (or rather tried to read) an insane 168 chapter dancae fic a while back and it gave me a lotta brainworms for caelus hcs even though i didnt make it thru the whole thing…

its in infinite stars by zell_hatoule if youre interested, its a literal beat-for-beat retelling of the story up where caelus takes on a more eldritch form with the stellaron. its really cool and the way the author describes his appearance and abilities is really vivid!! too bad my interest didnt last long enough…

the fic’s interpretation of caelus’ abilities is genuinely so interesting… for starters: caelus the entire being, caelus the shell hosting the stellaron, and the stellaron itself are three separate entities?? like caelus can reach into his body and talk to the stellaron and the shell (who takes on a cute cheery lil comet of stardust which is sooo cute…), and the stellaron acts as this wise old soul interested with cae’s shenanigans which is very cute as well

caelus also has a different vision compared to normal humans, so he can see people’s (such as march and dan heng) abilities, paths and personalities as physical auras around them?? i really cant do it justice by describing it myself, i highly recommend reading the fic yourself and seeing how the author describes it all because its so intricate and vivid…

ironically, im recommending the fic for the visual descriptions and not for the story itself bc

1. i lost interest due to its sheer length so i cant in good faith recommend the story when i dont even know all of it! and

2. personally i prefer my dancae a bit sillier than the fic’s interpretation? my preference for things leans towards sillier and lighthearted things anyway and the fic is more on dancae being very possessive over each other (which is well written! i like variety in the media i consume but i think i ultimately just got bored from the length)

but overall i got REAL good brainworms from this so a lot of sticky notes have been tacked onto cae’s big ol head

i like thinking of caelus’ abilities and blood leaking out in bright gold because of the stellaron and his origins in destruction, with the center core tinging other colours based on alternate paths (e.g. orange for preservation) and the blazes constantly burning indigo and violet around the edges for the path of trailblaze. its a really colourful and striking combo and i think it looks really vivid in my head when caelus overexerts himself with his power and his shell has to work double time to contain it, and it starts leaking a lil

i also imagine he can burn out. another hc i yoinked from the fic is that the pocket watch he carries around helps him gather stardust so he can sustain himself and his abilities, so likewise if he pushes himself too hard he starts burning out (literally!) and his eyes and shell go hollow. so in the end march and dan heng have to tuck him in to rest and go out to gather stardust for him…

it wouldnt be as effective as if caelus were to gather it himself, but they usually get juuust enough so caelus can rest up and finish the job himself

but yeah! honestly caelus is my second fav behind sampo bc they both have such good potential with their stories and hcs… theyre also fun to imagine as chaotic siblings in my team, causing havoc and bickering

hi micey i’m on a mustelids kick now so i’m gonna show you some of my favs :3 you’ve already seen the marbled polecat (incredible animal) so let’s grab some others in here

this is an ermine AKA a stoat. they come in summer and winter coats but i like their winter coats a lot so that’s the image we get. they’re tundra inhabiters and INCREDIBLY fierce hunters there are some really good images of these guys just. covered in blood from the mice and birds they kill. fun fact these were the first mustelids i ever fell in love with… did a project in middle school and was immediately smitten as soon as i saw them

up next is the american marten. these little fellas are incredible i love them. they’re so fluffy and make such good faces… the sillies. i’ve probably said it already but this is the species the fursona i still need to actually design is :3 i see myself in these thangs so much they are who i am in my heart and soul

meet the black-footed ferret. all mustelids are really Shaped but these guys have SUCHHH a fucking shape to them which i like a lot. why u built like that… they mostly eat prairie dogs ^_^

this is the european polecat. they look pretty much like domestic ferrets (iirc domestic ferrets came from polecats, so, makes sense) but that’s not why i like ‘em. i like these guys a lot because when i was doing research i learned that during mating season, the male polecat will grab the female by the neck and wiggle her around to stimulate ovulation. i have been making jokes abt doing that to komaeda for ages. kindred spirits <3

sables sables sables. these guys are farmed for their fur a lot which i am kinda sad about (happens to a fair few mustelid species v_v). BUT also look at them fucking ggg. other people may be too scared to have hermes get sucked into the azem friendship circle but not me i think hythlo and hermes could make pretty decent ''were not friends but were in the same room so often that if i got my foot trapped in a window i would call you over to come help me instead of getting embarassed in front of the fire department'' comradery. when althaea has rats in her apartment and doesnt wanna kill them but gets scared theyre going to eat her maggots she makes them come over (hades wants nothing to do with it) and while althaea is busy choking back sobs theyre standing in her kitchen trying to move her fridge because they saw it go back there and they think its made its hole/nest there but neither of them can really get it moving, and theyre trying really hard to move this fridge and they know they cant just unmake it because althaea is very particular about her shit so hythlodaeus is using his amaurotine brittle bones to try andget this ice box MOVING and hermes is like hold on maybe i can get behind it and push it out and this is where they find out elpis researches are shredded because they have to tackle creatures twice their size, so heres hermes getting up on the kitchen counter and trying to stick his hands as far back behind the fridge as possible and hythlo trying to help by grabbing from the lower bottom sides to make it do a scoochie but little do they know hermes is about to produce a force not unlike that of a polar bears bite and the fridge moves forward just enough to scare hythlo into thinking the fridge might fall on him but it actually just rocks a little as it scoots forward. enough for them to find the hole in the wall the rat lives in and with a bit more wiggle room hermes can jump behind the fridge and push it back farther with his back while hythlo scrambles to get up on his feet. and now whence the fridge is out of the way and the hole is made they recognize that they had no plan for if they actually found and hole and just look at eacher before hermes proffers that they can just. stick their hand in the hole and see whats up. and hythlo is like is this what you do on elpis? and hes like yes. for golphers. and hythlos like golphers? and hes like dreadful golpher problem yes. and with nothing else to lose hythlo takes initative and sticks her hand in the hole and is actually sort of horrified to actually touch the mouse. and once again althaea (and hermes) take issue with just blowing up animals to aether so now hythlodaeus has a hand full of mouse (roof rat actually) with his arm elbow-deep in his girlfriend's wall and he doesnt know what to do. so he just slowly extracts the mouse out which makes althaea cry harder because now its PROOF she had a MOUSE IN HER HOUSE and her POOR BUGS WERE IN DANGER and she was a horrible bug mom to let them be in this danger. while hythlo holds a dusty roof rat in his hand. and hermes asks for the mouse and with nothing else to really do he hands it over and watches hermes slowly approaches althaea with it which only makes her start wailing harder until he waits for her to calm down enough to show her the mouse and start telling her about them and how they primarily feed on seeds and berries and were probably attracted to her bad habit of eating walnuts in bed. and he eventually calms althaea down enough to get her to hold the mouse and shes like Theyre sorta cute up close..... and she starts talking to it and looking at it in its big ol eyes before saying something like this shouldnt live in the city where it can get hurt but she'd feel horrible taking it so far away from the only home its known to a scary place like a big field but she cant have it in her house cause all of her little maggot children might be scared of them

and hythlodaeus knows whats coming and his shoulders flinch backwards cause he can never say no to althaea asking him to house a poor little creature at their apartment for her and that she promises to come over and feed it and bath it and watch over it she just needs it to live at hythlos place. and this is the closest theyll get to having children. so what surprises him even more is when she turns to hermes instead and asks him to house that mouse and hes surprisingly accepting of this and takes the mouse and says hell care for them and then althaea holds the mouse while they set her fridge back to rights and during it hythlo cant help but feel a bit jealous that hermes got to take the animal this time because of said elaborate bullshit about this type of thing basically being the closest he'll get to having children with althaea but he blows this off because its one of those intrusive thinking patterns that he doesnt actually believe in and hermes isnt a threat to their relationship hes just a good friend and someone althaea is really enjoying having around since they met long ago when hermes first visited elpis as a child and althaea got to meet another kid and hang out with him after living at the cthonic horns with just her sister to play with for thousands of childhood years. so its like a heartwarming reconnecting moment where two kids who briefly met and thought theyd never see each other again get to be friends as adults and the mouse is like a welcome back gift between althaea and hermes. but hythlo goes home and has a nightmare about a fridge falling on him

KH ANON HERE AGAIN!! i have continued my silly AU (it’s a bit long but )

max pretty much just coughs and sputters and asks where the siblings are trying to go. “ever heard of a, uh.. disney castle?” yakko says, and max immediately explodes. he starts to reconsider his adventuring for a moment. he tells the siblings to follow him, and he heads backwards to his town. along the way, he explains his story, and they explain theirs’; they’re looking for information about their parents, and he’s looking for an adventure. yakko comes up with an idea. they end up setting camp late at night, the other two sibs asleep before he playfully elbows max. “why don’t me and you form a partnership, maxxy? you want an adventure, and i’m definitely going on one, eh?” . max agrees, and the gang are now going to be on their own quest. yakko is a bit of a worrywort when it comes to his siblings, so he tells them to stay in town while him and max go on a little walk to map out what’s around disneytown. (think of how caring he was in wakkos wish. also this will not stop them by the way do you think dot would simply let this slide.. NO WAY) due to max’s role in the kingdom, he’s able to get them a place to stay in the castle (they cause havoc once or twice but queen minnie thinks they’re silly). when yakko finds out that the king is missing and queen minnie doesn’t know about the warners’ parents (they have somewhat of an idea that they were well known, but haven’t figured out they were royalty.) the quest continues, dot and wakko swearing up and down to stay on their best behavior and not move an inch (LIES!)

dot and wakko plan to sneakily follow their brother on that little walk until they run into a certain trio of ducks.. none other than HUEY DEWEY AND LOUIE (in KH canon theyre their classic selves but this is an AU so i say they are their dt2017 counterparts..) dewey LOVES adventure and you know who has a history with lost family adventures? exactly. the boys feel for the warners in that sense, and they don’t have much on their plate besides running the shop.. so what’s a little adventure… (oh no guys pls stop being reckless WHERES UNCLE SCROOGE)

meanwhile yakko and max are getting along GREAT. they find out they have quite a lot in common. yakko realizes outside of his sibs, he really doesn’t have any friends, but thinks this is a really good chance to get to know someone and make a friend as well (cough… or more…) and although he may think he’s super smooth and suave he hasn’t really ever actually FELT what it’s like to have a crush, so he is completely taken aback by why he’s sweating so much and fiddling with his hands around this guy he just met a day ago. max is in the same boat, and he’s more obvious about it, but yakko thinks he just is a awkward person (affectionately speaking of course). max opens up to yakko about his current situation, and how even though he loves his dad, he wants to feel like more of a max goof and less of goofy’s son. yakko opens up to max about how he loves his sibs but can’t help but feel worried about letting down his sibs (caring big brother moment </3) all at the same time, yet he doesn’t want to show them a side of him that isn’t silly and collected. max is just like .. oh man i know what that’s like, feeling like you have to be something you can’t always be, but you’ll realize that the people who love you will love you for you. and yakko hugs him. which is unexpected for BOTH of them but it is gladly returned, and then the two cough and turn away from eachother. “uh.. thanks, max. thank you.” “NO PR-*hyuck*oblem” “is that your laugh? oh maxie ol’ pal, no wonder you’re a goof. i like it. *wink* *taps him on the nose*” (cue max exploding inside moment.)

“is he crushing?”

Ok Hi I literally got to this months late I'm not great at staying on top of my askbox. This is SO cute I love Yakko and Max's bonding, I love the little nose boop, I love Yakko still being a worrywart for his siblings. I LOVE that Yakko catches on REAL fast that he's going to have to start hiding his eyes, he knows right away this is a big time crush, even if he's going to deny everything lol. I share the eye headcanon, although if you're familiar with me and my fics you knew that already. Do you have any of this written somewhere?

The dragons at the back are harder to make out but, obviously, that just sells the pic more as something lived in and dynamic. Plus, theyre still shaded super well and perfectly for the pic, so theres 0 to complain about.

Also love how I can FEEL clear wings pure joy at being given a hat by little Yugo. Look at that grin, that upturned eye. I've never seen a more overjoyed Beast and SV is RIGHT THERE smiling so hard its jaw's gonna unhinge. Do feel a lil sad about how CW's wings blend into the trees but a comps gotta comp. This is karma for them being the negating dragon. Anyway, I love their accessories, like all the speedroids on Yugo's surfboard (red eye, 2 tri eye and 1 terrortop? Thats the duel links set baybee).

Dark reb is just as happy, but a lil more restrained. I also dk what mon they've got. it has ancient cloak vibes but im no PK expert. Barely play them really. The flowers make it festive either way. The Dark reb pattern on the kite is a nice touch, too!

Ok dragons down, time to scream about 4 small boys! First off, someone get Yugo a shirt before he gets sunburned /joking.

Ok but for real Yuya and Yuris poofy shirts are very summer vibes and very cute. It gives them both a really floaty feeling that suits the piece! Yuya's big ol smile is the cutest thing I've seen all week (plus the fangs are a super cute and nice touch) and Yuris smug "im gonna beat your ass" grin is impeccable. The water guns are really well done, too. Love how yuri's matches SVFD, but curious about Yuya using blue. Is it a ref to his pendulum? Anyway, the shading on their hair (yuyas contrasting values in particular stand out to me) are also so silken and jaw dropping that I feel like you could shear it and weave a silken scarf out of it. Fantastic 10/10.

Yugo's tiny grin is so precious 50/50 and I love how Yuto is kinda cautiously clinging to dark reb as he carefully takes stock of the situation. Yuya and Yuri may be at war, but Yuto and Yugo have chosen peace. For now.

Last but not least, the effect work is really good! I like the refracted light scattered tastefully across the piece to give it some pink and white and add to the sunny vibe. I've already mentioned how well done the addition based atmospheric fade is. The snatches of subsurface scattering like on SV's dark green and the underside of Yuyas shirt are just an extra 10% of perfection.

The thing that gets me about this is that there are no flaws. Zero corners cut. I almost pity you because I feel like this must have simultaneously been the most satisfying and painful thing ever created. I cannot fathom having the heart to do this.

just saying if ciarán had a fredbears family diner era robot fursona animatronic counterpart it would 100% be a fox . like even if foxy wasnt already a thing in canon he would still be one it just makes sense. its so very Him. like how spring bonnie really fits with will as a person [ rabbit symbolism, like how i spoke on in an earlier post ] and fredbear fits henry so well [ protective father i.e. "mama/papa bear" plus literally physically being categorized as a bear ... ] i just. the fox symbolism is so very ciar and he would so love to have a fox animatronic based on him.

i specifically see it as a fennec fox?? like with the big ol ears and such?? also to fit with the fredbear / spring bonnie color scheme . and i could also see it being sort of the "prequel" to foxy just as how fredbear and spring bonnie are usually considered the first freddy and bonnie models.

now i know it would make little to no actual sense for him to have an animatronic based off him considering the fact that will + henry have theirs because theyre the co-owners of the company and hes like . tangentially involved at best. but like. man. i just know that man would genuinely enjoy using his little fox suit to entertain the customers sososo much.

hed totally take the chance to slip back into his irish accent and exaggerate it while hes in costume because the kids love it and he hardly ever gets to use it in his day to day life anymore and he would love every second of it. like i know with how much he takes after will the suit would probably end up not being used fully for its intended purpose but like!! he would genuinely just enjoy having it so much!!

hes such a people person as long as the people arent getting in his way so he would love love love to have a little mascot suit he could have fun in . like genuine wholesome excitement here. i know those suits do NOT have a good history but god he would love it. this is what i meant by filling in that thing about him being a "performer" in that one type bingo that one time. he genuinely loves being in the spotlight and having a dedicated springlock suit just for him would let him do that without worrying too much about being in the public eye and i just. augh

i know its such a stupid little concept but i cannot stop thinking about it, it brings me so much joy. let my fucked up gay little serial killer have some fun with his life for once. thats all he really wants is to have fun. literally he is just here to fuck around.

[ also the concept of him having a mascot based on him / a springlock suit made for him also brings up the concept of either william or henry pitching the idea to him and maybe even surprising him with it and i just. i think its cute okay. hes just happy to be included and the fact that they went through all that effort for him would probably just . idk make him cry on the spot or something. i still know that realistically it would never happen but like. doesnt mean im gonna stop thinking about it ]
