i think i like 0709 more than 0507 bc theyre both in somewhat similar situations right now. kazui pretends to be normal while knowing he isn't, and is only now trying to live as himself. mikoto tries his hardest to live a normal life and is now dealing with the fact that his life is alot more abnormal than he ever could've expected. kazui is gentle with both mikoto and john, showing them both acceptance that they're afraid they'll never get as they are. mikoto in turn gives kazui acceptance back, unlearning his past expectations for himself and others and knowing he's in no position to judge. shidou is too conservative and currently has no reason to challenge those beliefs,, you want me to pair kazui "trapped under the expectations of adulthood while never getting to be a child" mukuhara and shidou "adults and children should stay in the strict roles society expects of them" kirisaki together? kazui "ive been taught to believe my worth is in what i give to others and to ignore what i really want" mukuhara with shidou "giving your most to society is the most important thing you can do" kirisaki??
