꒰ 𝓷ote , they’re back! our fav duo returns with a few minor differences. this is very introductory to them. so kind of not boring, but not major to the plot line yet either. but I’ve missed them. I hope you enjoy as always and spam the inbox with luke and vi thoughts now that they’re back <3 . . . ꒱

There were few things that gave Luke those excited flutters in the pit of his stomach. That short moment right before he stepped onto the ice, wakeboarding on the lake in the summer, and whenever he laid eyes on violet kingston.

It was as if his body had a secret ability to notice whenever she stepped into a room. As if a piece of him was missing and walking out and about in the world, and whenever that piece entered his vicinity his body became hyper aware, wanting to be close to her, attracting them to each other like magnets. And whenever he laid eyes on her, those excited flutters in his belly morphed into full blown somersaults.

Somersaults that were currently present as he watched her walk into the cafeteria, straight past his table where his group of obnoxiously loud hockey friends, including his older brother, were sitting, and make her way to the growing line of students waiting to buy lunch. Luke didn’t even wait two minutes before he was getting up from his seat with the intention of following her.

“uh - I’ll be right back,” he announces to the group, the only person really paying attention being his best friend Dylan since Jack and his rowdy group of friends were too busy discussing how Trevor and his current girlfriend broke up, again. His tall, lanky frame suddenly jumping up must’ve caught their attention though because just as he was making a move to leave, a familiar voice called out.

“Moose, don’t know where you’re going, but do you mind grabbing me a fork on the way back?” Trevor asks, with an overdramatic pout, and like with everything Trevor does, it makes Luke slightly annoyed.

“Sure,” he agrees easily, just to get out of there as soon as possible and not attract any attention. Or any more attention, he should say. Luke was grateful that he entered high school and had his older brother to rely on to make the transition as smooth as possible. But there were times that Luke wished him and Jack didn’t go to the same school. That they didn’t run in the same circles. That he was just Luke and not Luke, Jack’s little brother.

Don’t get him wrong, Luke loves his brothers. Both of them are genuinely his best friends, but being seen with Jack in the hallways, or in the cafeteria, or even in the parking lot before school, attracted a lot of attention to him. And while Jack, Trevor, Alex and Cole seemed to thrive under that sort of attention, Luke wasn’t used to it and didn’t want to be.

“You’re better off getting your own fork Z, he’s not coming back any time soon,” Jack comments with a knowing grin but Luke ignores the comment and scans the cafeteria line, looking for his girl.

He’s known violet practically his entire life. Their mom’s are best friends, they played hockey together in their college days and remained in touch in the years after. The Kingston and Hughes families often spent summers together, which was where Luke saw Violet the most when they were kids, but it wasn’t really until their family moved to Michigan that they grew as close as they are now.

All three Hughes brothers are quite fond of the entire Kingston family as a whole. Her mom was the head athletic trainer for the ndtp, and her dad was one of the best agents in the league who represented some of the best players and will undoubtedly represent all three Hughes brothers at one point. Her younger brother is on the road to playing exactly where Jack and Luke are now. They were as much a hockey family as the Hughes’, which of course bonded them all even more.

When he spots her again, he immediately starts moving, heart beating faster and faster the closer he gets. He takes a moment to observe her, from her white tennis shoes and skirt, to her blue cropped tee with the school logo on it, and the matching blue ribbon in her curly hair.

“game day?” is his form of greeting as he stands next to her, and he has to bite his cheek to stop from smiling as she immediately turns at the sound of his voice, eyes having that little spark they always do and a matching dimple on each cheek as she grins up at him.

“Hey bub,” she says a little breathlessly, using that ridiculous nickname that makes his cheeks redden a little and luke somehow doesn’t mind when it falls from her lips, as she steps closer to him and luke relishes in the way her body leans into his as his hand goes to rest on the familiar spot on her lower back.

“Hi sweet girl,” he greets back, brushing his lips against her temple and briefly breathing in her familiar strawberry scent. “I’m not cutting in line by the way, just keeping this one company while she waits,” luke explains to the girl in line behind them and she sends him a very overexaggerated, sugar-sweet smile.

“You can cut in front of me any day little hughes,” the girl responds and luke sends her a tight lipped smile, pushing violet slightly to move forward when she gives the girl a strange look.

“It’s game day?” luke asks again, when he realises she didn’t answer the first time, hoping to distract her and smooth that adorable frown that was currently between her brows.

“Yeah, first home football game of the season. And the first cheer event,” she adds and luke can tell she was a bit nervous about the latter. As long as luke has known her, violet has been a dancer. It was her equivalent of hockey. And since the school didn’t have a dance team, only dance classes, luke encouraged violet to join the cheer team when she brought up that she wanted to be involved in an extra curricular at the school. She’s been his little cheerleader his entire life, and she was a phenomenal dancer so Luke had no doubts that she would make the team, and she did.

“You’re gonna do great,” luke says, rubbing soothing circles on her waist on the exposed skin between her skirt and shirt and before she can reply they’re at the front of the line and violet is grabbing her food. She send Luke a mock little glare as he pays for her chicken wrap before she gets the chance to, but as they make their way back in the direction of luke’s table, she presses a little kiss to his bicep that he knows is a thank you.

“You’re coming to the game right?” she asks, when they stop a few feet away from jack and the other guys, who were all watching this interaction take place.

“Yeah, these idiots will probably drag me to it,” luke responds, loud enough for them to hear, causing someone to throw a napkin his way, that he catches mid air, and his lips tip up into a smile when it results in violet releasing a small laugh.

“Okay, I’ll just see you tonight then. We’re coming over for dinner, so I’ll probably get a ride home with you and jack after the game?” violet asks

“Yeah for sure. Is Dax going?” Luke asks

“I’m not sure,” she answers, biting her lip in thought, luke’s thumb pulling it from beneath her teeth.

“I’ll text and ask. I don’t mind looking after him if he wants to come with,” luke says, and violet feels her heart expand ten sizes that he’s thinking about her little brother.

“Thank you,” she tells him, grabbing and squeezing his hand and he pulls her into a quick hug, pressing a brief kiss to the top of her head before letting go and reluctantly stepping away.

“I’ll see you tonight,” luke promises

“Oh luke, one more favour before you go?” she asks him, and he immediately nods without even asking what it is

“Can I borrow your hoodie? I have a run through in the gym during the second half of lunch and I forgot my jacket. You know how cold it gets in there,” she explains and luke frowns slightly at the idea of violet cold and uncomfortable.

“Yeah, it’s in my locker though. Let me go grab it for you,” he offers, but she stops him with a gentle hand on his chest.

“No worries, I’m going that way anyway so I’ll just grab it. I know the combination. Thank you again,” she says, standing on her tiptoes to brush a light kiss on what is supposed to be his cheek but ends up on his jaw.

“see ya later, alligator,” he says, grinning like an idiot when she giggles as she walks away and answers “in a while crocodile”

The smile quickly disappears when he turns and finds the entire table still staring at him, all of them with teasing smiles and shit eating grins on their faces.

“Don’t even start,” luke warns them, but none of them heed his warning, all of them starting to tease him simultaneously.

“You forgot my fork luke,” trevor points out, and luke sends him a grateful look as he’s given a chance to escape. For once he’s feeling grateful for words coming out of Trevor’s mouth but that doesn’t last long either as Trevor says “see ya later alligator,” and jack answers “in a while crocodile” in a mocking, high pitched voice, both of them laughing afterwards.

Luke was still going to grab his fork, but whether that for was gonna be used for eating, or to stab eyeballs was still to be determined. . .

People who enjoy neighbourly shenanigans on Hermitcraft! May I recommend False and Ren:

They’ve got lore (Demise 2, Minister stuff, Big T), infrastructure (rivers and helping out with each other’s bases), lots of pranks and shenanigans (both pranking each other and other hermits)

They twaddle and hang out at each other’s bases so much. False’s second channel FalseLive is filled with vods of her and Ren just hanging out. Like there’s sooo much stuff of them to binge (and more to come because they will inevitably collab again)

They pretty much end up near each other at some point in every season so they’re a reliable duo if you get invested in them. They were neighbours in HC6, started out neighbours in HC9 then did Blue River Raceway with Etho, and they’re sticking close by each other in HC10

All their storylines are so wholesome and cute :3 The famous MCC9 Blue Bats (which is their favourite shared moment), Ren getting the final kill in Demise 2 for False, Ren saying he cannot think of a more worthy winner for BRR, False’s Minister of Transport sign being the only one that remained after the Ren explosion slash execution, Ren giving False a multipass to her base, and on it goes

Shared motifs: winning things, races, crowns / royalty stuff, rivers / ravines (HC6 ravine neighbours, HC9 river raceway, HC10 Big Business rivers), flowers (Ren seems to love throwing flowers at False? Like that time he prank spammed her base with flowers. And of course gifting False her fav Minecraft flower for her birthday :3)

Ren hasn’t been in a MCC team with False after 2021 but MCC has always been their thing (Ren saying he’ll only play when on a team with False, False saying she misses Ren and going “where’s my teammate 🥺”)

Sometimes in the middle of their episodes, they’ll have a short segment of them pranking the other’s base. There’s no explanation or connection. It is what it is.

So yeah they’re really funny and sweet together :3 I also like how they work on builds and infrastructure together, it’s satisfying watching them come up something on the fly and then they somehow make their madness into reality

on my weekly re-read of liar liar, and i was GOING TO pull an all nighter and finish it all, but i feel asleep before i could 😞😞

ANYWAYS!! i find it so funny that throughout the first chapter (and even later chapters, but not as much) its mentioned (and made very obvious) that y/n is a little devil child, that can be too much to handle, but never w megumi. like, idk how to explain it, but hes never thought shes “too much”, and lets her do what she wants, just puts his input in (like when she switched classes, he didnt feel overly annoyed by it, just told her that she was gonna get in trouble) (i might be wrong about this LMAO) youve written them in a way that they balance each other PERFECTLY, like they are genuinely soulmates.

the end scene of the first chapter is oddly one of my favourite parts of the fic, because we get other characters (albeit, minor characters, but wtv) opinions on them, and youve written them exactly like how they describe it. they keep each other in line, and thats why they work so well together.

anyways!!! i love this fanfic so sosososooos much!!! i dont understand how this isnt more popular because???? ITS SO GOOD???? literally how arent people falling in love with your writing within the first 1k words??

yes indeed 😤 megumi would most likely say she’s sm to handle, but really, he lowkey enjoys it. it’s the only time he can be an accomplice witness to such foolish behaviour, and not be reprimanded for it as much ‘cause he just has her to fall back on and blame. he won’t ever stop her, per se, but he’ll tell her once or twice ‘whatever you’re doing, it’s not gonna work’ or ‘don’t be dumb’, and think he’s done his part before being influenced by her 💀

and you’re also right in it not being mentioned as much when they’re older. no, i did not forget to add it, that was done intentionally for two reasons:

they’re older now, so as much as she does what she wants with him, she’s a lot more tame than she was as a child. that doesn’t mean she ever regrets the stupid things she’s done (except for the whole mermaid thing, that is a lifelong regret she’ll always have 😭)

the idea that she’s such a menace has been established enough over the years to the point where no one feels the need to voice it. new characters probably would — someone like miss b who was introduced in the middle school chapter — but even then, she was exposed to the more tame versions of the chaotic duo. so everyone kinda silently acknowledges it, and only during crazy moments (like the tragic helicopter incident of 2016, rip satoru/suguru’s will to live 😔) will it actually be voiced (like ogi mistakenly believing that y/n didn’t start any of the nonsense that occurred during the incident, and that was mentioned cuz of the fact that she’s famously known to be so incredibly out of control).

the bonus scene for the first chapter was my fav to write as wellll (tho arguably, i say that about so many scenes, so the value of this statement is probably worth nothing 💀). bonus scenes were initially meant to be ONLY from other people’s pov, but i noticed how so many things from y/n and megumi’s childhood tgth are littered around the story, and that the only way you could ever get any insight of them is through the bonus scene since the chapters are too long to add flashbacks AND bonus scenes. i could always do a separate set of oneshots for them, but i don’t have the time for that (yk this through my horrid updating schedule) 😟

but i am so glad you’re telling me what you enjoyed — and more importantly, being specific about it. it lets me put into perspective how the later chapters (tho already planned) should be set out. your feedback means the world to me, and you deserve a million set of kisses every night for them <3333

i thought the ian + anthony vs. chase + angela everybody 1, 2, switch video was very dad coded! it was giving lazy, quiet weekend where the parents planned a fun day with their kids, and everyone’s laughing and having a great time!

anthony showering courtney with compliments during smosh mouth 23 was just the sweetest. as angela has said, it’s the best feeling to be known and recognized.

Happy Saturday! First off Hallelujah the actors strike is over. Now it’s just semantics and such before we get our ship back on our screens. Just saw the SAG board approved the deal with 86% percent in favor on Friday. All that is left is getting it ratified and an episode order. We’re on the right track I can not wait. Been too damn long since we’ve been excited about some new content.

Till then I shall continue my rewatch. Hoping to line it up ending it whenever a premiere date appears. So fingers crossed on that. Once we do have that might amp it up to 3 reviews a week instead of 2. This one is not a huge content heavy one for them. It's shorter than normal, but it is Lucy’s first ep as his aide. They’re riding back together. I love it so much. Absence makes the heart grow fonder they say. Some good moments peppered in this one. Sassy married moments we all love. Off we go.

4x04 Red Hot

We start off with our lovely duo at the end of roll call. Tim coming in hot and sassy. Calling her Gofer right off the bat. Asking if she’s ready to go? He had to know he was gonna get a sassy reply calling her that first thing. Man knows what he’s doing. Tim loves their little dance and banter. So he lights the fire and waits for the results. (Also good Tall/Smol shots here my fav.)

Lucy matching said sass with some of her own. A little flirting mixed in cause they can't help it. Not showing an ounce of fear with his 'authority' haha Tim picking up on that right away. Flirting right back saying he’s sensing a lack of fear in his authority.

Oh Timothy you lost that long ago my love. You have her utmost respect but the fear? Yeah that went bye bye some time ago heh Some pre-shift foreplay going on here. We know they’re both just excited to be riding together again. It’s all over their body language and this flirty exchange.

Her ‘Yes, sir.’ So cute basically saying for her 'You don’t scare me.' LOL Lucy's body language is everything with that flirty smile. She has no problem roasting him. Tim loves it despite the words coming out of his mouth. Sunshine x Grumpy ride again. I'm so happy for it. Missed it since 3x09 that’s a long time apart for them. We’ve had lovely moments in between but nothing better than them riding together. Plus they needed time to miss one another.

They’re so obvious together. Grey hears their exchange and is holding back a chuckle as he comes up to Tim. Wade knew long before they did...That is a fact. They continuously forget everyone can hear them. It’s so funny. Carrying on like a married couple in front of their colleagues.

Lucy and Tim end up joining Nolan on his missing wife call. (So happy they’re riding together. Making my heart happy) His call has gotten more complicated because well it’s John’s call….Nolan tells them she was drugged and the people claiming to know her we're speaking Russian. So they all go back to the house where the call originated.

No one is there when they arrive. They notice the house seems off... Like it’s staged and no one actually lives there. John noting it feels a lot smaller on the inside. Tim saying it’s like a reverse Tardis...Lucy’s reaction is so damn funny. Props to Melissa for the facial expression here. I’m dying. Tim already sensing her judgement cuts it off. She doesn’t even have to say what she’s thinking. He just knows and defends himself.

S4 is the fruit of all that rapport building. We get to see the end result constantly. Watch how close they are. That silent communication coming through, the comfortability and playfulness. Not even trying to hide it anymore. The amount of sass in Tim's reply. My god she has rubbed off on this man. I love it sfm I can’t stand it. Such flirty dorks in front of Nolan it’s the absolute best. So nice to have them together on cases again. I missed it.

They get a report the car was torched but no sign of the woman over the radio. Nolan opens the cabinet and sees an impressive setup. A panel with cyrilic buttons they can't read. Goes into contractor mode saying they have 500 MCM wires. Running 400 amp service out of this place. Lucy not knowing what that means but wanting to save face says her line above. Also knows Tim may not either so she throws him under the bus LOL

It’s so cute and cheeky. The theme of this episode for them is sass. 100%. The way Tim looks at her plus his little leg stamp. LMAO His reaction saying 'Seriously Lucy?' He’s not even mad about it so much as in awe of her being so damn fresh at this point. Doesn’t even fight her giving him shit anymore. Just accepts it. Smitten man right here. Front and center.

Nolan goes on to say a normal household doesn’t tend to go past 200. Whatever they’re powering is big because just the minimum can power a house and a/c under that. Nolan starts messing around with the panel like an idiot and trips something. Because well it's Nolan. Like an unattended child. It locks down the entire house and they pull their guns in case.

Tim’s reply is the best. ‘I don’t know what it says so I push it?’ LMAO Roasting John like a marshmallow. Sassy Tim has come out to play and I’m dying. A tv turns on showing surveillance of the entire neighborhood. John asks if human traffickers normally are this sophisticated? Tim replies no…It’s a safe house.

Lucy’s interest is piqued of course. Asking if it’s for spies? Tim gives her a small peak into his past. Which you know she will eat up like crazy. Always craving to know about it. Hell me too. Any morsel we can get from Tim’s past I’m all about. Lucy in wifey mode tries to get it out of him. The when and where? You can see the absolute curiosity all over her face. He just drops a bomb like that and expects her not to try and dig a little deeper?

Tim is classic in his reply. Saying it’s classified and that is that for his answer. I'm sure he was wanting to impress her with that reply. When really she's just annoyed at him haha Lucy’s reaction is so damn funny. She is offended he won’t just share his classified past with her in front of Nolan LOL That wifey look in the second gif. Ha. Look at them just flirting away no problem in front of John. That’s not an issue but asking about his past is. These two... Also when they talk in this scene it’s like Nolan isn’t even there. I love this about them. They only pay attention to one another when they get like this. I just love their banter. It’s fantastic.

Nolan discovers a panel after hitting another button. It leads to a whole other hidden part of the house. It’s clearly where they were torturing her. They dig a little deeper and find more surveillance camera's set up. Looks like they tried destroying everything before they took off. There is still some paper work and such lying around. Looks like they didn't get everything. Tim wants them to take pictures of everything before the feds show up. Because they’ll ice them out ASAP. I love when he’s a sexy leader directing everyone. yum. gimme.

This next section when the feds finally show up is primo. Mike Weston introduces himself and Tim knows right away he’s CIA. The feds are with him though. Reason being Weston has to work with them since he isn't allowed to work domestically. Tim has some serious smug husband energy going on in this scene. Watching his girl square off and win with this guy. Lying on his behalf it’s amazing. Lucy handles herself like the bad ass he knows her to be. Coming up with this on the fly. That UC training kicking in right here.

The immense amount of pride on his face is everything. He didn’t even have to tell her to lie she just did for him. Their silent communication once again is out of this world. He just stands there proud af. Like yeah that’s my girl. Doesn’t have to say a damn word. Knows she’s got this covered. Smugly smiling at this guy trying to get them to do their job. Knowing they secured the scene and got all the photos they needed. Part of that smugness is from knowing they’re not sharing. Lucy shutting them down completely and he just stands there happy as a clam while she handles the situation.

Lucy is bummed they’re taking over. Nolan reminds them she touched his hood. Tim says they can get a true ID. Try and solve this thing before the feds and CIA know what hit them. I love this. They get a hit in the database. She’s a Russian citizen here on a NGO visa. Tim saying it’s perfect cover for a Russian agent.

Lucy with her social media skills found her Instagram page. Linking her to an Air Force major named Lyle Marks. Who she was apparently dating. Nolan says she was probably dating him just to get to secret information. Lucy calls him a cynic heh I love it. Then says yeah that’s probably the most likely scenario…

That he works for drone command and hasn’t shown up for work today. Tim says no need to loop in Weston. If they’re onto something good he will find them. They show up to Mark's house and find him tortured and killed. Weston of course shows up right after they find his body. Just like Tim said. He’s so smart. Beauty and Brains.

The fact that a soldier was killed this can’t be contained any longer. Weston realizes he’s going to need their help. Especially since this is on US soil. He brings them back to his fancy spy van. So they can have a private conversation protected. Tim gets right down to business. Asking what they know about Katerina? Mike tells them they believe her to be a FSB case officer. Just like Tim said earlier. Sexy how smart he is. Intelligence is attractive af.

Apparently she went rogue during her mission. She was supposed to be recruiting intelligence assets for Russia. It’s why those two guys came into the country after her. Rather her die than be in the hands of the CIA after she escaped. Tim asks if they knew about the relationship with officer Marks? Weston replies no or they would’ve stepped in weeks ago.

Also let’s note the lack of space with them in this scene. The Grand Canyon between John and Tim. The smallest sliver between Tim and Lucy. Another theme of this season. Personal Space? Never heard of her…

This next part is more of that proud/smug hubby energy from Tim. The way she dismantles Mike is glorious. Trying to say she’s naive and espionage isn’t a romance novel. She crushes him with some solid ass logic. Lucy owns this guy not once but twice in the same day. Lucy came to play and it's so fun to watch her confidence. The way she handles herself now. So self-assured it's just as glorious to watch as Tim's growth.

I love the look on Tim’s face. (also him licking his lips I see that tongue sir. Mmm.) His reaction is 'Wifey is right and you are dead to rights sir.' He couldn’t be prouder of her confidence with this man. Held her own from the jump. The growth here is amazing. Lucy just confidently owning her moments. Tim backing her without a second of hesitation. True partners. Nolan gives a 'Told you so' look too but it’s not as important as Tim’s LOL Weston concedes and says she has a fair point…

That being said Mike said he’s read her file. That isn’t the type of person she is. They ask why she was dating Marks then? Weston says he ran the entire west coast drone command. That he had the keys to the entire program. Tim then poses if she wasn’t stealing secrets or planning to defect then what’s her play? Mike says doesn’t know..and that scares the hell out of him

That’s their last scene together for the ep sadly. We find out with just John and Bailey she killed Marks. He issued a drone strike that killed her brother. The flash drive Nolan finds in his shop is what she wants. She wants to kill everyone else on the list of the mission. Sadly Lucy’s love theory is kaput after that haha That's all she wrote for this one. Short but sweet one for them.

Side notes-non chenford

I love Lucy reaching out to Aaron to be his support through training. He fights her at first then gives in and calls her when he has bad experience with an old friend. Aaron does stick his foot in his mouth about Jackson. Poor Lucy still hurts her talk about him.

Then they bond over it. He talks about Patrick and says it still gets him too. How it sneaks up on you. You could be having normal day and something triggers it. Aaron tells her it’s nice to have someone to talk to. Love this friendship being built.

Ok I know this is a Damangela blog but I just gotta spread some love to another underrated Angela dynamic. And that’s Angela and Spencer. - Cassie IS THEIR COUSIN, they see mark ( bonnie mask ) as their uncle and i put the theory that he is cassie dad. .so please dont ship gregory or ggy with her, they are just close friend/ cousin.

- they are chaotic, arson duo. .even if ggy is more chaotic-

- Never leave them two second they’re gonna burn the pizzaplex with ggy laughing and gregory drawing the fire.

- They like to gossip between them even if ggy trying to make greg shut since he can talk alot with the person concerned around.

● Gregory :

- Gregory have ADHD, he can easily defocus where to be in his world, was also consult for autism.

- His fav animatronics are of course freddy, but someone he feel like that fred is suspicious toward him for some reason ( ggy-).

- he really like to draw what he saw, he cant go somewhere with his book and pencil.

- Gregory is aromantic, but he dont really know how its work since his brother dont really help him with that, he dont want to be interest in a relation for the moment and gonna maybe wait when he older.

norstappen is so so compelling to me, please let me ramble for a (few) moments:

I hateeeeeee when people compare norstappen to brocedes (which I am def sure you’ve talked about and have thoughts of) or even any Lando-rivalry BECAUSE literally the situations are not even close

“there are parallels” um so actually yeah maybe parallel universes that had inverse and refracted canon events- brocedes had such an intricate and intertwined path where it led to such a devastating fallout (and here i will admit im not factually caught up in all lore brocedes, so I can’t speak on everything but) anyways methinks that the whole heartbreak and reaction of brocedes breakup was lended to primarily the fact that they were teammates and the fact that they had so much history together

not gonna go into that too in depth but all that just to say norstappen are NOT even close to being brocedes, and now please let me get into why that makes them so compelling

for most of our fav duos on the grid, they have had history as teammates (e.g. maxiel, carlando, sebmark, etc) because dynamics are easier to acknowledge and easier to consume. obviously there are some exceptions like galex and lestappen but we know why they’re so close because of their racing histories

BUT NORSTAPPEN like yes ik they raced in juniors and whatever but it was so fleeting that seeing them come together in f1 is just like woah

Max is historically a fierce competitor and used to be so hot headed he was brash and (c)rude

so maybe a lot of their companionship now could be attributed to the fact they weren’t direct competitors in 20/21 but to me that really doesn’t matter bc the way they talked to and about each other then is still with the same fondness they talk about each other now

even though they’re currently competing for the wdc they’re still friends first and foremost, and they pretty much refuse to speak down on each other (Austria is a whole nother rant I don’t have space for) and they still support each other so so much it’s actually unfathomable to me

like guys come on this is the part where you’re supposed to start shit talking and throwing hands, not going at it raw on the pj with an audience

but their respect for each other is of the highest standard and tbh that’s the ONLY reason they’re still Good with each other in my opinion, although the appearance and the nature of that respect I am mildly unsure of

Saturday night was always a movie night for James and Aiden. Last week, Aiden had picked a movie, meaning this week it was James’s turn. James decided to pick a horror movie, though the one he picked wasn’t very scary or gory at all. It was something he knew Aiden could handle.

James didn’t pick horror movies often, knowing that Aiden isn’t the biggest fan of them. The ones he does pick, however, are always very tame ones, that sometimes Aiden actually kinda enjoys them.

Tonight, Aiden had reluctantly agreed to the movie, but he had to admit he was a bit nervous. He’d been feeling little all day, and to be honest, he wasn’t exactly sure why he didn’t just admit that earlier today to James.

He knew James wouldn’t have cared. He always encouraged Aiden to tell him when he was feeling the need to fully regress. Aiden didn’t want to tell, and for no other reason than the fact that he just didn’t want to.

So now, an hour into the movie, Aiden was hugging James’s arm while also now being completely regressed. James didn’t take Aiden clinging to his arm any other way than him just cuddling with him, since that’s normally what he did. Both boys often cuddled with each other while watching a movie.

That was partly the case, but the main reason was the fact that Aiden was scared. He didn’t like most horror movies while big, so he absolutely hated them while small.

Aiden just wanted the movie to end, even though it wasn’t even scary at the moment. He just knew something scary would happen eventually, and Aiden really didn’t want that. Still, Aiden stayed quiet and continued to watch the movie.

It was after about ten minutes, when the movie really started to pick up and get scarier and scarier by the second. Aiden was..handling it the best he could. He was starting to tear up a little, from being scared, but he was managing. Was managing.

There was a scene, a completely out of nowhere jump scare, that caused Aiden to jump. As soon as he jumped, Aiden started to cry as he hid his face in James’s shoulder. James paused the movie and looked over at Aiden.

“Aiden? Are you alright?” He asked, his voice filled with concern. Aiden didn’t say anything, he only hiccuped and whined. It was obvious to James that he was regressed, so he turned the movie off and gently grabbed Aiden, setting him on his lap.

“You’re fine, Aiden. It’s just a movie, it’s all fake. You’re safe.” James reassured as he rocked the boy slightly. Aiden continued to cry, his face now buried into James’s shirt while he clung to him.

It took about twenty minutes to get Aiden to calm down, which was a bit concerning for James. Aiden normally calmed down after about ten minutes when he was scared or upset, poor boy must just be really little right now.

“Aiden, do you want to watch cartoons? I think it’ll help you feel better.” James suggested. Aiden looked at James, fingers in his mouth as a way to comfort himself, before he turned his attention to the tv that was currently off.

“Yeah, let’s watch some cartoons. But first, do you want to come with me so I can get your bear and paci?” Aiden nodded, laying his head on James’s shoulder as he was carried to the bedroom to get his comfort items.

James grabbed Aiden’s teddy bear off of the bed and handed it to him, before going to get his pacifier, which James immediately put in the boys mouth in replace of his fingers.

“What cartoon do you want to watch, baby?” James asked. Aiden just looked at the male, before he hid his face in his bear. James couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Don’t worry, I’ll find a cartoon you like.” James told him as he sat on the couch. He kept his arm wrapped securely around Aiden, while using the other one to reach for the remote.

James look for a children’s cartoon for a while, before putting it on “Bluey”, which was something he normally put on for Aiden when he was this small.

“Are you feeling better, baby boy?” James questioned. Aiden gave a small hum, completely focused on the cartoon the tv was playing.

James smiled, pressing a small kiss on Aiden’s cheek, before he started to watch the show with him.

Ok random little happy thought because I've had enough of the twitter drama for the moment.

I came across that part of the interview where they all agreed Tae was the baby of the group. And it got me thinking...I appreciate all the different dynamics Tae has with the group, including the ones that are sometimes underappreciated. Start off with Namjoon and Tae. I love how Namjoon himself put it -- how he didn't really understand him but now he's fluent in Tae. He was a little confused and even a little standoffish in the early days. Namjoon was a young guy who wasn't very affectionate and had all this pressure on him. And Tae was just a carefree, playful, cuddly kid. And in learning to understand Tae, he got more comfortable with those aspects of himself. (I could write a whole separate post on how Tae brings out the best in people because of how genuine he is with/in himself...). And then I think of how much Tae just loves his hyung...from making sure to compliment his painting when everyone was focused on JK to cheering him on the sidelines and then running over to kiss him on the forehead.

Oh, that’s such a cute ask 😭 I think Taejoon is very underrated as a duo. My fav moments are every single time Namjoon played along with Taehyung antics, just playing and having fun on and off stage. On stage during Dynamite. Off stage where he holds up a banner for Namjoon practicing Ugh.

Another fav moment is Taehyung asking Namjoon if they could cuddle while sleeping 😭 A big baby. Taehyung serenading him in ITS.

Namjoon copying what Taehyung does because he’s endeared by him. They’re very sweet to me, considering how Namjoon is kind of like Yoongi, he just lets Taehyung do anything to him; I actually wonder if it’s just BTS members’ inability to say no to Tae. I mean, who could?

Bonding EP:

I never knew how ridiculously funny this ep was 😭

It might be one of my fav episodes now if not for the weird considerations. For example, sticking to another person who’s not really on good terms with you for a day is really tricky if you think about it. Sleeping, showering, doing anything would be really difficult, no? Especially changing, the clothes just slip through the adhesive? On that note, the storyboard people or whoever directed this were sly for making Ron and Kim miss their high-five after getting covered by the bonding adhesive. Then again, they’re practically stuck together for their whole lives so spending a day with someone new is a change.

I like that we get to see what the characters do on their daily lives rather than Kim/Ron fighting off some crisis for 80% of the vid. Barkin is really fit for his age, seemingly really strict and proper but there’s a contrast in which he slept with a teddy and supervises a group of young scouts. Poor Ron having to endure all that workout but he did show his merits in his own way.

Bonnie of course has a bit of a change where we see some moments of her working together with Kim. I really love the small teamwork they did to stop Dementor, there’s potential for some friendship but sadly we can see what happens after. I don’t mind that because Bonnie suddenly be besties with Kim wouldn’t make sense but lowkey I want to see her forcing Kim on a trip to shopping and spa.

We also see Bonnie has her problems internally when her sisters came in to mock her. They’re most likely the cause for Bonnie’s attitude of wanting to feel superior to others (ex: Bonnie commenting how cute it was for Brick to not think so much)

Also there are new details I like to point out:

Ron having to do hw in the circus ride, why would Barkin even make him turn it in at 7 am? Why out of all people, Ron is stuck with the PRINCIPAL. I guess it’s too much to introduce a new person but Barkin and Ron is a wild duo.

Kim doesn’t keep up with trends nor really into beauty. Hence Bonnie’s complaints in her room.

Ron’s mom was way too casual to be tucking in her son who’s stuck with his principal LOL

Kim solo rock climbing WHILE carrying Bonnie???? She has way too much strength in her body. But go off queen, I love that.
