idk thinking about how sometimes you have to show up for people you aren't that close to, because sometimes you're just the person who's there. sometimes you invite a new friend to a party and end up having to sit with them through a panic attack. sometimes you run into an acquaintance on their worst day and they need to talk about what happened. sometimes someone is crying in a stairwell and you're the only one around to ask if they're okay. and none of this is "trauma dumping" or whatever the fuck it's just being there for people because you're the one in the room with them.

This one was once again commissioned by our dear @i-am-as-normal-as-you-are and we actually talked about this scene quite a lot. Charles is still going through it, and he doesn't even feel like he should be getting the hugs he needs. Poor boy.

#dead boy detectives #dbda #payneland #edwin x charles #reverse verse #edwin is the one to initiate the hug this time #in this verse the boys actually hug quite a lot #because charles loves it and edwin can't deny him anything #but it's usually charles who starts #the rest of the events of the episode are pretty much the same #but for this version of charles the way everyone loved the so called dragons while they actually sucked #well it hits a little too close to home #not to mention he's already struggling with niko being there #with thomas being weird and coming out of nowhere #and the crow king being after edwin for his own actions #he hasn't dare to ask for the usual forms of comfort he usually gets #but edwin knows him and sees him as his savior #and charles sees this and thinks “ah i've manipulated you and made you believe i'm good”#but then again he's too selfish to prove edwin wrong right?#better act like a good person for the rest of eternity #(he is a good person he's just a little fucked up and won't admit it)

Both of their lives just got flipped upside down. Anakin is traumatized by having to leave #his mother behind‚ then his Master's sudden death‚ and he's left with no certainty in his future.#Obi-Wan just witnessed his Master die‚ helplessly‚ then having to take care of this little human in his Master's stead‚ meanwhile feeling #wholly inadequate to be so suddenly knighted let alone immediately becoming a Master and taking responsibility for another being.#Both of them losing the constants in their lives. left uprooted. the only anchoring point being each other.#I imagine Obi-Wan wouldn't reach out to Anakin first‚ but if Anakin expressed compassion with him‚ grief‚ and his need to feel secure‚#Obi-Wan wouldn't turn him away #this was just my excuse to give them a proper soothing hug in their time of mourning

Family of Distinguished People.

So like what if, the Fenton family is just a family full of heroes, villains, and vigilantes. like.. just imagine a long line of people that had or has contributed to the world somehow. Like the Fenton parents as Supervillains, Jazz as a Vigilante, Danny as Hero. Dani just decides to travel not too interested, but does help with her family if needed, Dan does the same thing.

BUT WHAT IF joker is actually a close relative of the Fenton Family (ex. Uncle, Cousin,Family Friend) and like he's just there all happy with his (found)family during family reunions, birthdays and shit.

And the batfam are just like so confused and stressed to why the joker goes missing once a month.

While Joker is literally having a game of Monopoly with the elementary kids at amity park (the kids couldn't bother, they've saw scarier things they handled scarier things) cue Joker giving the kids a hundred dollars because he lost.

This is just one of my what if prompts, that i got locked up in a vault. Might delete this later who knows.
