alien = genuinely one of the greatest movies ever made. the narrative, the special effects, the acting. redefined what horror and sci-fi should be while defying genre altogether. should be studied alongside films like battleship potemkin when making any media about the working class

aliens = extremely basic action movie. worryingly pro-life bent in an 'abort that thang' world

alien caret 3 = bad in an insane way

alien 4= bad in such an insane way it threatens to become good at times; the spell broken by dialogue and everyone making the dreamworks face

prometheus = recaptures something from the first movie but is also bad in the way every single sequel is. one of the greatest films of all time because of this.

covenant = bad in a confusing way

romulus = both 'okay' and 'god-awful terrible' in new and exciting ways
