seriously though I was probably like. 60-80% thinking we'd get at least one tweel for chapter 10. but I was NOT expecting it so soon! both of 'em! in August! a shame we're not getting a Coral Sea event after all...but I guess I can be resigned to that and ALSO excited for getting shiny sparkly glowing(!!!!) mertwins along with Azul fighting his inner demons and going right for the eyes! Hi i’m reaching soo hard but.

It’s not a 1-1 match, moreso about the habits? Nervous arm clutch, leaning forward when mad, clasping hands a lot, the smug side lean. Loop shares the most similarities with Siffrin, but I like to think they picked up some habits from the party too (after all they had a looong time to memorize those😁)

This is a mod made for the sole purpose of completely "remastering" SMT IV's in-game textures by hand, which includes: the UI + text, backgrounds, character portraits and other visual assets by manually recreating them in higher resolution.

By applying this mod, anybody can experience the stunning HQ detail originally present within the game that was forever lost within the game's original stunted 244p quality. 【⭐How do you manually recreate smaller detailed assets like the Character Portraits?⭐】

In contrast to other HD Mods or Remakes out there using impractical methods to "upscale" character images, our team is dedicated to redrawing the original crunchy ~300px Character Portrait sprites within the game into higher resolution by hand ourselves (using the ~7000px Key Art as a base). And sometimes, we have to redraw certain sprites entirely from scratch!

➡️As one of the artists part of the team, I'm very passionate about getting those iconic "Doi style" elements that are present throughout his SMTIV art. Personally speaking, it's an honor and a learning experience to be a part of this project in being able to faithfully recreate his work with as much respect and care as possible. my flight rising unpopular opinion is that I don't think staff should re-release old fest items like the sprites. I don't care if adding more of them into circulation would make the game more fair for newer players. in fact I think that a 'holy grail'-type super rare item that serves as a fun expensive long-term goal to a lot of people suddenly becoming widely available would be BORINNGGG.

also I don't think it would actually make the game 'more fair' because it's not like something important is being gatekept here. festival sprites offer no gameplay benefit there isn't an achievement for obtaining them and you can have them logged in your bestiary by awakening them via fiona. the only difference between a light sprite and a damn kelp tender is that it displays a different png.

tldr sprites aren't even that cool the dragon economy is fooling you + your gamer completionist instinct is fooling you + I actually think pet sites having limited items is cool and fun sometimes
