JAY IS DONE. I haven't done a finished piece like this in forever and I forgot how long it takes LOL. Begging you on my hands and knees to zoom in on these.

James "Jay" "The Hammer" Hammer is an earth-genasi astral self monk (any pronouns). Their elemental heritage isn't super pronounced since they're a couple generations down from their dao ancestor. Though the opal texture on their teeth, eyes, nails, and palm of their hands was always present, the fact that their insides are multicolored only became unmissably apparent after they developed eczema as a child. It grew in severity in conjunction with her acne later on. Her body contains a supernaturally high amount of silica, which is what her wounds eventually scab over with after the normal blood coagulates. Jay is currently seeking to transcend the material form via a perfect workout routine and nutrition plan, and travels around in search of a more complete and informed worldview. That specific path to enlightenment is a bit unorthodox, but beyond that Jay is an extremely normal guy tbh.

His astral self is based on a design that appears in the music video film Beyond the Mind's Eye, except way beefier lol. As the color wheels on the mask turn, Jay's eyes change to match whichever color on the wheel is furthest to the front. I'll design the body at some point but I don't get that until way later. And I am very tired lol.

Okay Google is my mouth pain starting to get better on its own or am I just Getting Used To It

#only had to take paracetamol once today after lunch #outer face still hurts to touch but i can definitely open my mouth wider now than before and ive already had dinner (exacerbating activity)#not that im desperate to keep wonky tooth but if it resolves spontaneously and i dont have to have an operation #thats gotta be good right?#we shall see #my life and stuff

worst thing about using those toothpicks and flossing is the bleeding. now my mouth tastes like iron and it itches...

#also i know bleeding means its like bacteria so its a good thing #but watered down taste of iron is not very nice #also i have some hard to reach teeth which is why they bleed. had braces and then my 12 year theeth came in and theyre all wonky #and then my wisdom teeth came in and theyre all wonky too #which makes it almost impossible to floss between them #and my wisdom teeth are so far up????? like they sit an entire tooth above the ones next to it #!mine

I made a dentist appt for the first time in way too long. Wish me luck 🤙

#it’s in the morning and I am putting off sleep #I used up all the free lives in my silly little puzzle game tho….#so I guess I will force myself to sleep #the appt is specifically for a cleaning #but I know I’ll have to go back to get a couple cavities filled #also I do have a chipped tooth (which I think used to have a filling?? but that must’ve come out when it broke)#but my health’s been wonky and a bunch of tests came back normal so maybe it’s bad teeth health 😔#(tests were normal but I swear they didn’t do the ecg for long enough (barely 24hrs)#(also they put it on wrong the 1st time and had to redo it bc they couldn’t read it)#(and it happened to be a day I felt great)#(also Dr said my bp was low but within normal range)#(it’s regularly like 109/60 or so. sometimes 90/60. p sure I even saw a 60/40 once but I didn’t write it down so i guess it could be wrong)#I need to request my records and check haha;;;#ok I’m tired of holding my phone up so I’m going to sleep now
