So I played cotl in English but my first language is Spanish and I was like "wait I wanna know how is it translated the iconic dialogues" and when I saw the choice between killing or sparing narinder and when u kill him this is the dialogue in spanish

"...good. maybe I was right to choose you"

LIKE THE IMPLICATIONS?!?! THE WAY IT SOUNDS SADDER AND PATHETIC and even with a hint acceptance?? I can see why the translator chose this line it does have a similar implication to the og English one

BUT DAMN the way its even shorter and not as elaborated as his usual formal dialogue, the way it can even be seen as praise for choosing the lamb or proud of them even... it's so neutral too it could even be interpreted in a bad or good connotation, it doesn't even sound as crazy as the og English one

orion becoming optimus prime is a lot funnier in spanish because the word for matrix is 'matriz' which. also means womb. it actually primarily means womb. so when megatron says "primus gave you the matrix?" it kinda sounds like he's really mad that optimus is the one that gets to be pregnant and not him lmao
