Hmm... golden boys 💪
So, with Dream Sans, perhaps a reader who has snuck in a small puppy and is currently giving it a bath-
The only reason how Dream found the two is the strangely Reader-shaped footprints of mud tracked along the floor and into the bathroom... and the squeaky barking.
(For added effect, Reader is a muddy MESS from wrestling the puppy to stay in the bath 🤭)
I thought because you originally sent a similar ask for Lord Nightmare, I would do this in a similar style? So, enjoy a special Don't Imagine, just for you my friend...
Don't Imagine finding a small lost puppy behind the barn covered in mud. How it's big sad eyes instantly melt your heart and how you can't possibly leave it there. How you look around to see if anyone is watching but thankfully find no one.
Don't Imagine scooping the poor thing up into your arms when you realize it really is by itself. How you don't even care that now you're all muddy too. How it whimpers and whines, trying to break free from your grasp. How you wonder if it's had bad experiences with people to be this afraid of you.
Don't Imagine tucking the pup into your coat and slipping back to the cottage. How you open the door a crack and listen intently before stepping inside, just in case your master returned early. How you heave a sigh of relief when it seems that he's still out.
Don't Imagine heading straight for the bathroom. How you draw a warm bath and search the cabinets for a soap that would be safe for the puppy's fur. How you are forced to give up when its squirming proves to be too much to handle. How you nearly have to wrestle it into the tub.
Don't Imagine the poor pup absolutely wailing as you attempt to scrub the mud out of it's fur. How it struggles to get away but you manage to pull it back into the tub every time it gets remotely close to escaping. How you realize this would actually be sort of funny if you weren't in a bit of a rush to finish.
Don't Imagine nearly jumping out of your skin at the sound of a soft knock on the door that you had carelessly left ajar. How you can feel the affects of his presence and how you know that you've been caught. How your mind scrambles to think of any reasonable excuse but comes up short. How you know he would see through any lie you could make anyways.
Don't Imagine how Dream waits for you to turn around. How your heart sinks when he meets your gaze with an unreadable look. How you quickly look away and suddenly realize how big of a mess you've made. How you apologize profusely and promise to clean up the muddy footprints and the bathroom. How you wish he'd say something, anything, and not just stare at you like that.
Don't Imagine how he sighs and reassures you that he's not upset. How you tentatively look up, not fully believing him. How his expression takes on a pained look for a moment before he quickly hides it behind his usual smile. How he reiterates that you've done nothing wrong and how he actually praises you for helping the puppy.
Don't Imagine how he chuckles and kneels next to you. Definitely don't imagine how he carefully wipes some mud from your cheek. How he quietly compliments your kindness. How his touch lingers a moment longer than it probably should.
Don't Imagine how all the uncertainty seems to disappear. How your vision narrows until all you can focus on is his face. How you wonder why you were ever worried about him finding out in the first place. How he comments that the sanctuary could use a good guard dog and suggests that he doesn't mind if you want to keep the puppy. How quick you are to thank him, promising to take good care of it.

Hellooo! I hope you’ve been having a good day! I was thinking about pack dynamics and got curious as to how it would be with kids?!?! Like say the reader had a kid with let’s say ghost for an example, would all the guys also be dads to that child or his ghost? I’m really interested in seeing how the parenting dynamic would be!
Hi!!!! My day's been alright. Been stressing about my appointment tomorrow but getting to answer all these wonderful asks has helped keep my mind off things!!
So, I won't really be getting into this in the fic so I can spill all the beans here lmaoo
So pack dynamics when pups are added does change things a bit. Everyone in the pack sort of feels a responsibility to care for and protect the pups, regardless of if they're the parents or not. Obviously the parents of the pups feel the biggest responsibility, and they're going to be doing most of the nurturing, but other members of the pack do help as well. It's sort of a community effort, especially in large packs where there's likely to be many, many pups to look after.
Pups will recognize their parents by scent, and they know which members of the pack are their parents from very early on. The other members of the pack it's sort of like an aunt/uncle situation is the best way I could describe it. Like, pups know those aren't their parents but they're very trusting of the rest of their pack, and will go to them if the parents aren't available. It's been known, especially in really large packs, for omegas to co-parent. Most of the child care falls on omegas, as that's sort of their purpose in a pack traditionally, and if, say something happens to one omega, the other omegas will step in without question. It's also been known for omegas to adopt orphaned or abandoned pups without even a thought.
So, using your example, if Ghost and the reader had a pup together, then the pup would recognize Ghost and the reader as their parents. There would be no question there, but the others would also be involved in the pup's life and the pup would know to trust them and that they're safe people in times of stress or trouble or danger. The same would go if the reader had pups with any of the others as well.
I hope that makes sense lol I'm waiting on my food to get here and I'm very hungry and I'm starting to feel it a little so if this is just mindless rambling....oops I'll fix it when I've eaten lol 💚

hii mimi omg u js followed me and i js followed u like a few days ago? but hello :) i love your blog and your personality hehehe also what do u think about isagi ??
HELLO NESSAAAAAA thanks for your kind words :D i always see you in my dash and wanted to be friends ! but now that you asked me about the BESTEST boy, we're now bffs !! anything isagi related is welcome in this blog omg here's my lovely thoughts about this LOVELY man
i briefly mentioned before how isagi was made for friends to lovers. but now !! i have crazier thoughts 🤞 i often call him a green flag but it actually runs deeper than that hehe
i think isagi is the guy that comes after all heartbreaks. despite your prior declaration to abstain from relationships and their accompanying theatrics, he appears to happen, weaving his way into your path. and against your own resolve, you just can't help it but to fall for those ocean blue eyes looking at you like it knew your soul, as if they possess an innate understanding of its language.
and all the moments when you were mistreated and used by hands you believed harbored love fade into insignificance, fading like distant echoes against Isagi's gentle affection.
because being with isagi yoichi feels like watching love begin again.
with him, you realize that love assumes a different hue. one that isn't supposed to break and burn in the name of being reckless, but rather one that is serene and fills your soul with tenderness.
and at night, where he slumbers peacefully beside you, you can't help but to wonder where has he been all this time. but you pay it no mind, for it matters not. because the journey might be hell, but it brought you in this heaven. and for it, there's nothing more to ask.

Hello! 🧡 I'm curious how you balance viewing scripture as infallible while also not taking parts of it (Genesis in particular, to reference your recent post) literally. I've heard some people say that Genesis is meant to be a poetic version of creation and therefore not entirely truthful: sort of like a kids' story, how some details could be fudged without losing The Point. I get why God wouldn't give us all the details, and it's not like this is necessarily a core doctrine issue, but I guess what I'm asking is if scripture is infallible, why would it give an incorrect account?
Hey Anna! I'd love to talk about this! It's one of my favorite issues in the world, actually, so please be prepared for a whole lot of passion from me 😆
So the bottom line, like I said in my previous post, is that I believe that all Scripture is true and infallible, but that it ought not be read literalistically. This is not the same as saying that some Scripture is less true by virtue of using poetic language, nor that I believe that details have been fudged. For me (and others who interpret Scripture as I do), it comes down to analysis of Biblical language, style, and genre.
So okay, let me start by defining my terms:
History = A text detailing true events that actually happened. These accounts may use symbolic, metaphorical, or otherwise figurative language in the service of conveying these events. A history is also not necessarily complete in its detail or exact in its chronology unless the text itself makes those claims (ie it's possible for histories to backtrack and tell events again from another point of view; this is pretty common actually.)
Biblical figurative language can take a variety of forms depending on the genre of the text we're discussing, however in general it is used to express truths that cannot be expressed in other ways. I'm gonna quote Lewis again here, as I think his discussion of Biblical symbolism in Mere Christianity is really great and relevant. This is from book three, chapter 10 (Hope):
There is no need to be worried by facetious people who try to make the Christian hope of "Heaven" ridiculous by saying they do not want "to spend eternity playing harps." The answer to such people is that if they cannot understand books written for grown-ups, they should not talk about them. All the scriptural imagery (harps, crowns, gold, etc.) is, of course, a merely symbolical attempt to express the inexpressible. Musical instruments are mentioned because for many people (not all) music is the thing known in the present life which most strongly suggests ecstasy and infinity.
Crowns are mentioned to suggest the fact that those who are united with God in eternity share His splendour and power and joy. Gold is mentioned to suggest the timelessness of Heaven (gold does not rust) and the preciousness of it. People who take these symbols literally might as well think that when Christ told us to be like doves, He meant that we were to lay eggs.
Figurative language is used throughout the entire Bible. It's in discussions of heaven, like Jack illustrates here, but it's also frequently used in the Epistles ("I have been crucified with Christ") and, in the Gospels ("You must be born again.") It's heavily employed in the prophetic books, Psalms, and the wisdom literature (not even gonna pick an example, it's everywhere). It's used frequently throughout the Pentateuch (God "bore [the Israelites] up on eagle's wings"). It is used in Biblical histories ("[Samson's] soul was vexed to death"), though not to the extent that I believe it's used in Genesis 1-11. Sometimes the text telegraphs that figurative language is about to be used, but certainly not always.
None of these things are any less true than the things described in what we might call "plain" language. Rather, imagery is a tool that helps us understand the deeper truth of a thing; it "expresses the inexpressible" without causing us to doubt that the images are about something real. Sometimes, the language even tells us something that occured spiritually/from God's perspective, but which did not literally happen in the physical world (again, "I have been crucified with Christ.") I think it's clearly a mistake to conclude that the presence of figurative language means that the story is merely figurative or that it's incorrect.
So I read the Genesis 1-2 creation account as a largely figurative account of historical events, and I think it's written that way in order to convey God's perspective of creation. Certainly a human perspective on creation would be (a) theologically un-useful and (b) impossible for an ancient person to understand.
To expound on point (b) a little bit: even a modern person, with all the geological, paleontological, chemical, and genetic evidence that we have, simply cannot comprehend the expanse of what we call "deep time." Modern scientists must communicate these things in metaphors: they use 24-hour clocks in which each minute is thirty thousand years and football fields with geological epochs marked off at the various yard lines in order to try to express that which the human mind is fundamentally not equipped to grasp. The Bible should and must tell the story of creation from God's perspective, and to do that it must use figurative language.
Thus, "Days" are figurative days, but as such they convey greater truths about the way that creation appeared to God: it was gradual and periodic and God was patient, yet it did not seem to take eons to him. It was like a week of diligent work that produced good results.
Likewise, when the text says that God speaks light and land and life into existence, we can read that as a statement of God's incredible, beautiful power over creation. The moon likely formed in the "Big Splat," when another planet collided with proto-Earth and flung debris into space (I'm not even gonna touch the formation of the sun-- waaaaaay outside my wheelhouse). To God, these things were as simple as saying, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night" and then making them. The complex natural processes involved were simple before the Almighty God.
Likewise, the billions of years that are took for life to evolve, from self-replicating auto-catalytic molecules to microbes to multicellular life that arose from endosymbiosis and horizontal gene transfer, and then all the way down the epochs of history: the beautiful Cambrian Explosion, trilobites and the first chordates, then Tiktaalik propping itself up in shallow water and its tetrapod descendants stepping onto land for the first time; those strange, fascinating club-moss forests of the Carboniferous, dinosaurs and archaeopteryx taking to the skies, the K-T extinction event and then mammals picking up the torch and growing larger, whales returning to the seas and their vestigial legs disappearing, life, life life... All of that, to God, was two days of creation in which he spoke and natural processes produced the glorious array of life that existed when Adam and Eve came to be. He had authority over all of it. He said "Let the earth bring forth living creatures," and it did! God made them as surely as if he had sculpted them from clay with his hands, as miraculously as if He had spoken a word and they had existed in a split-second.
It's all true! All truth is God's truth! Every word of Genesis is God's truth, not despite the fact that it's written using figurative language, but because it is. We can understand truths that science alone can't account for - that in all the vastness of protein sequence space, God formed rubisco and ATP synthase: not by random chance, but through loving providence using randomness as a tool. We can see deep time as God sees it, not as a yawning abyss that we can't begin to properly conceptualize, but as a week in the mind of our great God who transcends time.
(My concluding paragraph is going to be somewhat harsh toward YE Creationists, but it cuts to the core of why I feel so strongly about how we read Genesis. I'm going to put it under the cut so that no one has to read it unless they want to; I'm not trying to attack anyone. I hope you know that I say all these things out of a place of deep, deep love.)
Returning to what Jack said: "If [people] cannot understand books written for grown-ups, they should not talk about them." YE Creationists would have us read Genesis without allowing for any figurative language; they would disregard the scientific method in order to do so. To my thinking, if a creation in seven 24-hour days were the intended meaning of the text- if we were, like children, meant to take everything in it entirely literally- then God would be a liar, because then he would have created a world in which the speed of light and geologic strata and the fossil record and even the evidence of our own DNA and physiology are all lying to us about how we were created. I could not love such a God.
But because I, like Jack, like millions of other Christians, can read the text of Scripture and interpret the figurative language it uses, I can instead marvel at the wonder and glory of our Creator-God, to whom epochs are like days, who can speak natural processes into existence. Scripture is history and it's poetry and it's all true. All truth is God's truth.

What do you think of shadow
Oh wow... that is a question.
I do got into it here, on the same post about why I like Shadow, Amy, and the ShadAmy ship. There are trigger warnings for that one at the top though, so be aware. I’ve also talked about it a little here, kinda, sorta, in a way. There are no triggers for this second link (least none I can think of).  But to summarize, Shadow-... there’s just something about a character that is not a 'nice’ person,  but they are, very much, a 'good’ person. They are, in their own way, trying very hard to do the right thing. And I mean trying to the point of where it hurts, trying to the point of where it scars, trying so, so fucking hard constantly and perpetually. Their goal is peace, which is one hell of a sisyphean task.
And they have taken this on because, though you wouldn’t know it looking at them, they love this planet they now call home.
Maria and her plea to Shadow helps with this, but he doesn’t keep acting on just her wish alone. They’re an independent person, with their own hopes and thoughts and dreams. They have to actively choose every day to do the right thing. We are shown this in the SHtH game. They could turn around and lay waste- there would be very little that could stop them if they really put their mind to it.
They choose not to destroy. They choose to love.
And they love the people they inhabit this tiny rock with, even if those people confuse and confound them, even if these people cause so much damage, even if these people don’t love them back. The one thing Shadow has decided for themselves, the one thing that nobody can take away from them, is that they are a person who loves and who acts on that love, who exists because of love. No matter what they were designed for or what anyone wants of them, this is the one thing that is true. “It’s still me, Shadow.” That’s powerful stuff.

What are your opinions about stranger? :)
Game wise? Hella freaky, everytime i see him and his bloody footprints i'll be like, "aw shit, you couldn't give me a minute to enjoy my victory against (a boss i just defeated)?"
Sometimes i kinda hate him, because i'd be enjoying my stroll in game and then there he will be, in the corner of the screen, just staring at me before walking away. Like, bro, please stop freaking me out.
Fandom-wise? I know ya'll are like obsessed with him and will probably try to kill me for this but, i don't really care about him. Plus he's pretty hard to draw in my style, so i don't draw him often.
To me, Stranger is like.. Kim, pretty important to the hidden lore of the story but i already have enough on my plate with the main gangs to pay attention to them.

Emergency: Help save my children's lives
Dear humanity,
Tumblr media
I am Habib from Gaza. I am married and have four children: Menna, 12 years old, Adam, 10 years old (suffering from quadriplegia), Maria, 6 years old, and Ezz, one year old. Although they are young, they have survived previous wars, but this current war is the most difficult of all. This is a war of genocide, and the difficulty of the war lies in the inability to meet the needs of my son Adam, who needs special care.
Tumblr media
Over the past ten months, we have been caught in the crossfire of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Our once peaceful home in Khan Yunis has been reduced to rubble, and now we find ourselves displaced in Deir al-Balah, living in squalid conditions in a makeshift tent on the streets. The devastation not only deprived us of our physical shelter, but also destroyed my livelihood - the once thriving business that supported our family's well-being, is now in ruins. The daily struggle for survival is exacerbated by the scarcity of basic necessities such as clean water, adequate sanitation and basic medical supplies
Our home was the place where we found hope and safety, and where we made precious memories. Losing him was like losing years of our lives.
Tumblr media
Not only that, they destroyed my source of livelihood, burned it, and demolished it with bulldozers, and today I am without a home and without a job. I was working in a store I owned that met the needs and expenses of my family
Tumblr media
Living in tents is miserable. There is a lack of drinking water, hot sun rays, and strange insects that have terrified my children. What hurts me most is my young son Ezz, who I see growing up in an unclean environment and with no healthy food for him. I believe he has not received his right to life.
Tumblr media
At this stage, my husband and I decided to go to you and create an account on the Go Fund Me website and ask you to help us in these difficult times until we get out of Gaza, from the land of war to the land of peace. All we need from you is to support us and help us to get out of the war, even if you cannot help. You should spread the word. This campaign is everywhere and among your friends. We thank you for your stance and support for us. Thank you, my friends
The amount that will be collected from this campaign :
We will spend it by paying the amount to coordinate entry through the Rafah land crossing, which connects Gaza to the State of Egypt, since, as I mentioned, they charge an adult $5,000, but depending on the pressures, crises, and waiting, the amount may reach $7,000 per person, and children $2,500 to $4,000.
We will also use it for the rest of the travel and safe transportation expenses to provide for all family members.
Tumblr media
A picture of my children's life before the war
A video of my children's lives living the war
May God reward you with all the best and may God bless you
Best wishes with sincere gratitude,
Habib's family
