big fan of that guy. i saw a jason post a while back that was making a cutesy joke that like, jason would have blackmailed bruce so he could be robin after figuring out who batman was. and like, cute post! but that’s just actually my best friend tim. i could say something coherent about how sometimes i like to think too hard about how every other robin is allowed more freedom to be himself rather than live up to a very specific pre-set ideal (dick to bruce, tim to jason vs. jason being a happy-go-lucky kid and damian entering bruce’s life with a strong sense of who he was), but instead i’ll say that i think tim wears this to sleep

i think he’d go see him, but not necessarily to mend their relationship. probably mostly for closure, which he wouldn’t get because regulus is out of his mind with grief

if sirius jr didn’t exist then yeah he’d probably try to reach out to maybe mend their relationship (impossible) or at the very least want to see him and want to maybe be there for him. it depends i guess on what would transpire between them. i mean they’re both in their late thirties, and maybe too much time has passed :/

in this au though, sirius sr takes on raising sirius jr. they’fe a family for three years, and he loves that boy more than anything, as much as he loves harry. he wouldn’t be able to forgive sirius jr’s upbringing and what he’s been through, and therefor wouldn’t be able to forgive regulus. he would most likely consider it a betrayal to his late nephew if he were to try to mend things with his brother, and he could never do that to him. his choice was made for him when sirius jr ended up in his and remus’ care. tho that doesn’t mean it’s not complicated !! and that he doesn’t still gireve his brother and all that’s happened between them ://

but yeah. he’s choosing sirius jr 🤍
