last night my friends and i went to an IMAX showing of Jaws for its 50th anniversary. it was my first time ever seeing it. just now my parents and i finished watching Let The Wrong One In because my dad found it randomly and went, “ooooh, dumb vampire movie.” do you understand how important that range is in a genre. who else is doing it like her. what do you mean we have an umbrella term that can unite those two movies

i think its so sooooo important for there to be bad horror movies. we need scary movies that are just dogshit. just genuinely bad. yes we need horror movies that are so bad they’re good or are cult classics, but we also need scary movies that suck. things that finish and you’re like, “i could have spent my evening on literally anything else.” its good for us. its good for the culture
