3. Do they have a good relationship with their family? Who were they closest to growing up?

I think about this once a week at least, woe. He was closest to his dad, since he barely had time to get to know his mother, but those two had a pretty nice, wholesome relationship. The fact that he turned out not to be Ozias flesh and blood didn't really change that. Raising a child alone in the bowels of a Forge World is no easy feat, and they had a "it's us against the entire world" bond throughout all hardships they endured.

5. Describe a memory from childhood they think of fondly.

His dad and he used to joke around a lot. When he was younger Ozias would just pick him up and swing him like a wet towel, or playfully teach him the basics of self-defense by betting small things on landed pinches or pokes, or just show him a few simple sleight-of-hand tricks. The end of shifts where both used to sit together in low lamplight before bedtime used to almost always be an enjoyable time.

10. How do they feel about becoming a Rogue Trader? How easily do they take to being the head of the von Valancius dynasty?

It is certainly strange. He never can quite get used to not having anyone giving him orders, but now revels in it maybe a little too much and it leads to some pretty fun dynamics with the others (cough Heinrix cough). His problems with the Von Valancius begin when he finds out about his mothers ancestry and thus is not a fan of bearing a name weighted down with such cruelty. He is somewhat glad there are no close family members to meddle in his affairs, and surprised to find out some of his cousins turn out to be quite reasonable people.

15. How do they feel towards Theodora? Had they met before? Were they close?

He only met Theodora briefly before her death, but he respected her for her no-nonsense, straightforward approach. As for favoring Edelthrad and the company she kept, that's a different story, but I think he regards her up to now (just came out of Act 3) in a shifting light. Too much of her is unclear, too much still shrouded in mystery, and he can't quite figure out how much she was involved in the demise of his parentage, so he keeps all he says about her painfully neutral.

24. Do they place value in how their protectorate sees them? Does this sway their decisions at all?

I think it's a "what use has a wolf for the opinion of sheep" situation - he honors and keeps appearances (we've established Zlatko knows what cutlery to use at fancy dinners) and tries not to outwardly step on anyone's feet, but when there is a decision that needs to be made, the opinion of the protectorate is the least thing he cares about. Especially after Commorragh. He just exhausts his reserves of even mildly giving a shit.

20: part of canon you found tedious or boring

I really did not enjoy watching the devil baby mama drama with lucifer and such in s12. I preferred the bmol stuff and it's not like the bmol stuff was that great. at least something like the samelia flashbacks in s8 were so boring they became absurd and funny, you know?

also oh my god before I forget, the nick plot line they decided to dedicate like 15% of season 14 to was so tedious and unnecessary. basically most things with mark pellegrino I was actively opposed to getting invested in

25: fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing

many, of course. but honestly? I can't believe the take that sam, dean, and hunters in general are analogous to oppressors killing monsters who are stand-ins for marginalised groups and nothing more, or that sam and dean only talk about the ethics of monster hunting a few times and never change their actual attitudes and it has no lasting effects on the show, or that sam and dean regularly kill innocent guys just because they happen to be monsters, is still going around at this point. I know that sentence included a lot, but I'm only saying that these are all quantifiably false and this take has gotten so immensely old to me, I'm annoyed every time I see it repeated like it's a legitimate criticism of the show. I've ran the numbers gang, they overwhelmingly go after guys who we know have hurt and killed people and have an outspoken ethical code about leaving non-violent monsters alone

Not at all. Quite the contrary. Ever since returning home that feeling of "having failed at life" is slowly eating away at her, so if anything she feels like complainimg about the lack of responsibilities she has.

is your muse the type to get up on time on their own or with an alarm? are they the type to hit snooze over and over

as bad as Charlie is about her eating habits, she is super disciplined about getting up in the morning. Her residency came with a crazy schedule and oversleeping wasn't an option, so she came up with her own system, where she would set her alarm in a way that would allow her to hit snooze precisely three times before getting up and it's one of the things that she hasn't given up in her "new life" - that does NOT mean she is a morning person though ^^

does your muse compare themselves to others often? if so, how does it affect them?

Well, she used to. Medicine is a competitive field; in university and even more so during her residency, which means she was basically comparig herself to others 24-7. It's probably the reason she feels like such a failure now.

I've gotta admit on the how she is rather vanilla^^ but she finds herself both increasingly thirsty and spontaneous as she starts hooking up with Jake, whor her best friend describes as "stupid hot - heavy on the stuopid - but he looks like fucks". This thing is supposed to be a rebound, sth recreational to take her mind off things and this is how she treats it. It's easier for her to let go with him knowing that there is no future where she's gonna have to explain to her kids that she met their father when he came to her bar looking for a hook up.

Yes. Our girl is half a doctor after all and she knows the benefits the occasional manual labor or a good shower head can have on your mental health xD She has a vivid imagination and recently she also aquired a few choice memories to revisit ^^

It's not been stn she's dabbled in before, but tbf the thing with Jake is a case of not intrested - maybe a little interested - I guess one time won't hurt - oops here we go again, so it's safe to say that she is not opposed to ONSs.

2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

The Whumptober Fills Day 20 ("Emotional Angst / Shoulder to Cry On / Giving Permission to Die / "It's not your fault."") & 23 ("Forced Choice / Broken Pedestal") are going to be so deliciously painful to write <3 And the Flufftober Laundry Day fill (Day 15) is going to be fun as well!

5. What character that you’re writing do you most identify with?

Peter & Cotta, I guess. Lost the identification with Skinny a little bit (not my love for him tho!), but Peter's ADHD messiness and anxiety and sometimes patchy people skills are still extremely relatable, and Cotta is... idk, the person I most want to become, in many regards, I guess?

11. What do you envy in other writers?

The ability to write very poetically and ambiguous, to hint at things but never explain them, to tease complicated relationships, without ever fully putting them on page. (One example that's on my mind: wodkapudding's when you splashed your wine into me - the part that's spliced into to colums??? Insane! So brilliant! I am in AWE!)

And, lbr, also the ability to plot out and finish long fic 🤷‍♂️

21. What other medium do you think your story would work well as? (film, webcomic, animated series?)

Hm, good question. Don't think I have an answer for that rn, because the main Story I have right now is a soul to keep, and I genuinely do think it works best in text.

7. what was your favorite thing as a kid?

okay I already said mythology, but I had a lot of favorite things as a kid so I would say my second favorite thing as a kid was probably Harry Potter (*sigh*). I read those books so many times, watched the movies on repeat, it was just about all I cared about from age 8-13. now, unfortunately, mrs. transphobic fuckface has made it leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. I don't regret the love I had for it, because that's not fair to myself, but I just wish she didn't suck so much.

12. if you could be fluent in any language which one would it be?

I did also answer this one but my practical answer is Spanish by my personal dream fulfillment would be some kind of Scandinavian language (maybe getting this question twice is my sign to pick up my Norwegian again...)

36. do you daydream? what about?

oh I daydream so much as a coping mechanism that I tend to dissociate entirely so... yeah. yeah I do. most of the time I'm just living in whatever fictional world I'm hyperfixating on at the time because it's less horrible than the reality I'm in 👍 but I am also capable of ✨fun✨ daydreaming which is currently my writing ideas & planning our move.

55. whats your favorite game?

STARDEW VALLEY!!!!!!!!!!!! Breath of the Wild is a close second, but I've sunk more hours into Stardew Valley than I care to admit. I have at least 6 different saves. I fucking love that game.

When drunk and/or in close company, he moves his hands just like his mother did. When sober and in public, his body language imitates Maurice's, his biggest fan and patron. Later in his life, he develops the ability to slam a beer just like Thadule (friend/landlord).

Some of his drama school classmates still giggle about his terrible performances. If he knew this, he would count it as a win, because he never learned their names and they still talk about him.

Lately it's been Laios from Delicious in Dungeon. I just love him getting to live his dream and I desperately want to eat the things he is eating.
