Tim pulling up research papers and stalking all of his loved ones to make sure they are getting the minimum amount of things to be healthy (while also fulfilling his minimum amounts).

He's got research papers, but he also adjusts per need. For example, Dick requires more physical affection than most of the other Bats. Therefore, Tim ensures someone is administering regular physical contact even if that's him.

Just Tim, his charts, and his stalking as a form of love. Him informing Alfred when someone needs more vegetables or protein in their diet. Him not so subtly nudging Bruce to use more words of affirmation. Him sneaking meals into Jason's safehouses, Dick's apartments, the Clocktower, or where ever Cass is.

Babs and Alfred are fully aware of the extent that Tim goes to for everyone. Dick has most of an idea, and Bruce has some of an idea.

YJ are the only ones who know Tim's unhealthy system for himself ("Tim! You need 8 hours of sleep consecutively!" "At least I'm getting 8 hours!")

Sorry it’s taken so long to respond🫶🫶 but I wanted to draw some new art for this ask💓

We have: Sebastian and Eloise trying out their new fancy camera with a selfie, pictures of them with their daughter, and finally…idk I just always felt like this drawing is when they’re a bit older💓

I want to take this ask as an opportunity as well to talk a little about how I imagine their future (I have no chill & you can ignore this and just enjoy the art if you want😇).

I am a COMPLETE pantser - I never know how a chapter’s going to end when I start writing it (I always just have a few scenes I know I need to include to keep the plot moving forward). Although I have different *big* scenes I’m always writing towards, and themes/plot elements I’m always foreshadowing (shout out to @elliecutte for catching *almost* all of my hints and appreciating my general no chill😆), IM STILL NOT 100% SURE HOW I WILL END THINGS !!! 😳 I have a lot of endings I see as possible, and I think soon it will become more clear to me what will work the best💓

HAPPY ENDING:

Eloise and Sebastian become Unspeakables. I have a LOT of thoughts on this profession that could be its OWN post, and I feel like Unspeakables are generally specialized in one or two departments, but as their interests/research change they also change.

Eloise becomes an Unspeakable in the Mind and Death departments, with the occasional foray into Time. Her ancient magic is connected with all of these things (my version of AM is NOT like the game) & the Department of Mysteries is one of the only places that gives her any useful information about these things. Plus she thinks too much (it IS her hobby after all😆💓) and is very introverted so a hermit job like this is a perfect fit.

Sebastian becomes an Unspeakable as well, but I feel like it takes him a long time to specialize in anything, if he ever does. I just feel like becoming an Unspeakable is the adult equivalent of sneaking into the Restricted Section🥹🫶

They grow old together (I won’t explain TOO much) & have a lovely little family🥹 at least one daughter that they both dote on. Sebastian had an amazing childhood (idyllic until it wasn’t), and wants to give his daughter the same, and Eloise works hard to make sure their daughter feels the love that she never had growing up🥺

When Sirius is burned off the family tree, Eloise and Sebastian take him in🥹🫶 (they’re like 100 years old but WIZARDS LIVE LONGER…) The same happened to her all those years ago, and she wants him to know that his whole family hasn’t abandoned him.

Eloise LOVED her nieces - Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Narcissa - when they were younger, but as Voldemort becomes more powerful & people realize WHAT he’s doing, she has to separate herself from them. Her heart breaks seeing Bellatrix go mad, and seeing Narcissa engaged to a Malfoy out of obligation😔 (iykyk)

I haven’t thought any more about happy ending but I think it’s fun to think about how their future story might weave in with the actual canon events, ESPECIALLY since Eloise is a Black🥹💓

SAD ENDING:

After Sebastian gets his hands on Slytherin’s relic, it really starts to consume him and makes him even MORE obsessive than his natural tendencies - I imagine it similarly “talking” to him like Slytherin’s locket/horcrux did in Deathly Hallows (😳)

Eloise is deathly afraid of the changes she’s seeing in Sebastian and steals it from him (he would never willingly give it to her ESPECIALLY if it starts to feel like a precious item to him)

BUT the relic triggers the latent Black Family Madness in her - the madness that afflicts almost every woman in her family since…🤭 - and she herself starts to lose touch with reality. Her body and soul are already destroying themselves between the curse and the ancient magic inside of her, and the relic is what triggers it in her.

Sebastian becomes an Unspeakable, focusing on the Mind, in a desperate attempt to find a cure for his Eloise🥺

He never gives up his research, and sometimes when he comes home she is lucid and they talk about his research - otherwise, he just loves and takes care of her.

(He’s never successful in finding a way to reverse what he feels he caused in the first place - his ambition and single-mindedness is, to him, the reason why all of this happened)

Honestly who knows if I end their story either of these ways😌 I just love thinking of AUs and different endings and I have a few others I’ve considered as well!!! And whatever endings I don’t write will be immortalized on this blog and in my art as well🙏

looking at it through gustcup lens, gustav and dagur hanging out is just so funny, like they both have this big crush on hiccup and I'd imagine they kinda end up bonding over it, but it's only because either of them looks at the other like ,,I've no heart to tell you, but you've NO absolutely completely ZERO NONE chances with him... if the story is set during "go gustav go", dagur would absolutely bond with gustav over their shared crush on hiccup, but in a big-brotherly way where he thinks gustav has no chance at all and it's adorable. maybe he'd even see a little bit of his younger self in gustav (though he'd make it clear gustav is a weaker version of him).

dagur would also absolutely ask if hiccup ever talks about him and what he says, and gustav, the big muttunhead that he is, says hiccup talks about defeating dagur all the time — with the intent to talk down on dagur and make it clear hiccup only wants to put dagur back in jail and dagur has no chance, but all dagur hears is: "he talks about you all the time" because dagur has incredibly selective hearing.

and like you said, it's very important for their bonding that they both think the other has absolutely no chance with hiccup, because if dagur saw gustav as a threat? he'd "crush", but in a whole different manner...

when hiccup comes to trade the dragon eye for gustav, dagur starts talking about the kid saying he has "great taste" and fits right in with the berserkers, and hiccup is just kinda like oh gods there are two of them now.

dagur is also the type to get insecure and try to "subtly" ask hiccup if the gustcup ship ever has a chance of sailing, just to be sure, and hiccup contemplates just sinking the ship with all of them still on it.

I skipped Hit List as one of the few fics when I went through all the zelink fics on ff.net and Ao3. I heard that the characterizations etc are really good, but since it's about a school shooting, I didn't want to read it. I'm not doing well with violence in general, and a story that deals with any aspects of a school shooting is not what I want to read for fun. That being said, that obviously doesn't say anything about the quality of the fic and isn't supposed to discredit the story in any kind. I heard others enjoy it greatly. It's just not for me. 😊

Wait!!!! For me, I personally love Tim finding out and deducing their identities at the age of nine.

So! Here's my idea to combine that:

Tim knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman, but he doesn't want Bruce to know that he knows (he's scared of Bruce, doesn't want his memory wiped, doesn't want to get involved, thinks it's improper, or whatever reason you want).

Tim, after seeing another fan theory (or fanfic) of Brucie Wayne dating Batman, gets a brilliant idea. He'll beg Bruce to "stop his husband/lover/boyfriend" from beating people up.

Tim knows it's Bruce, but he refuses to admit that he knows. He even goes so far to doctor "proof" of Bruce Wayne and Batman's relationship.

Surprisingly, Tim begging Bruce to reign in Batman is working. The antics of the kid plus the way he absolutely trash talks Batman to Bruce's face give Bruce a light to focus on outside of his grief.

Also, Tim is a menace. He comes over every day to vent about how violent Batman is, politely offers Alfred help, and shamelessly starts pranking Bruce until the man relents

What are your headcanon for the boys usually?

Hi!! This is about that post the other day about how I don't think the brothers have favourites, and then in the tags mention that the "raph and Don are twins" headcanon isn't really one I have, right? To be honest, I don't really have concrete headcanons per se, it's just easier to use that instead of "vibes and impressions that I get". But!! I don't mind going over it, if you're interested in hearing about it.

I said that I don't think they have favourites, and I stand by it lol. We usually see them all together, or alone doing their own thing, and on rare occasions, they get paired off for an adventure, with the other two hanging out together on the sidelines usually. I'd be hard-pressed to say which duo we see the most often together unless i started keeping a tally, so I don't really see any of them necessarily favouring a brother over another? or spending more time with one of them over others? The only reason I singled out the Mikey & Leo connection is just bc Leo is the only one to not get annoyed with him to the point of smacking him upside the head or calling him names.

I'm honestly pretty neutral about the idea that Raph and Don are twins. Same thing actually for Leo being the oldest and Mikey the youngest! I think it's bc I've never really noticed them jockeying for position or respect like I remember doing or seeing with my siblings lmao! There's also something to be said about how Splinter used to be an actual rat, and the turtles were actually turtles, so the human idea of how families work might not even be a thing that happened. Like, it's entirely possible to me that they never once heard things like "you're older so you need to be more patient with them" or "he's your little brother be nice" and so on. So I think who is eldest and who is youngest is sort of just a non-issue for them that they never really considered. Leo could be the youngest or middle child and any of the three of them could be the eldest, and I still think the dynamics would stay exactly the same bc any implications of what that would mean would just fly over their heads. But! I know people have fun playing around with that stuff and it's fun to read and experiment with. And I'm also unclear on how much the age order I see floating around is canon so like. This isn't really a hill I'm going to die on.

This ask got me thinking about my impressions of all the different duos and i like talking so imma just add that under the read more

i actually had vague memories of seeing a couple of episodes way back when it was airing so it actually caught me completely off guard how they would snipe at each other! I did not remember this! Sometimes they take potshots at each other when they werent even part of the conversation or the topic at hand!

I like to think this is Enrichment for both of them tbh

Like Mikey enjoys being annoying and Raph is fun to annoy

Raph gets to let off steam on his temper by getting annoyed with Mikey

Though sometimes I think both of them cross the line. However!!! I think if either of them actually legit had a problem, they would say something and it would stop

The Besties

I don't see them as twins but I totally understand why people do! They mirror each other a lot! And I think have a similar sense of humor

Common interests too with Raph working on his bike and Don working mechanics in general

I still think about Raph going "watch your back!" and Don being like "That's what you're here for" or something to that effect ;;w;;

Definitely the chillest relationship Raph has with a member of his family and probably who Don usually goes to for like, video games, and stuff

Raph & Leo

Low-key think the two of them have some sort of symbiosis, two sides of the same coin, thing going on

Like, the two of them actually think and feel pretty similarly about most things, it's just that how they then deal with that information/feelings, they diverge. Raph gets angry and impulsive, Leo goes more stoic and controlled.

It's why they Get each other really well, but when they don't it can get.... explosive......

Also think Leo is actually pretty fine with Raph's temper and kind of appreciates it. Raph getting mad works as a pressure valve for Leo's own worries. And it's easier to stay cool and collected when someone else is stressing out.

Don & Mikey

Considering how i remember the two of them having side plots together more than other combinations, it's actually kind of weird how little vibes i get from them

Though whenever they do work together, even though Don might complain about Mikey's antics or crazy ideas, he doesn't really say no lol

the fact ive yet to see them really interact or have an adventure together is a fucking crime

I genuinely think since Don is who everyone turns to for answers, he is the one most likely to understand the pressure Leo is under to keep everyone safe

they should have talked after SAINW and after Leo came back from the Ancient One. They would Understand so well.

i think constantly about how Don keeps such a kind tone even when he's when annoyed with Mikey, but Leo getting poisoned during the battle nexus tournament is the one time it changes.

(i also think that would've happened for any other brother btw it's just nice bc the two dont really interact unless they're asking the other for solutions)

also think constantly about how Don probably unintentionally echoed Leo in SAINW. "Your reign of terror is over!" is the same thing Leo said to Stockman in Attack of the Mousers. Was he trying to emulate his Leo when leading them.....?

They don't really talk but they do silently communicate

I like to think the two of them can sit together in silence, doing their own thing, before one of them suddenly starts talking about something. It is unclear if they're picking up from a previous conversation, they started just speculating out loud to get a second opinion about something, or just randomly started a train of thought that the other somehow almost immediately knows what they're talking about.

On that point, Leo is Don's favourite rubber ducky lol he can actually sit still and somehow knows exactly when he should stay silent or actually ask a question about something

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

He has William registered in his phone contacts with a little picture of him. I think it’s cute

There’s so many things about him that I love, it’s not fair!!! He’s kind and dependable and devoted. He’s strong and skilled and still gentle nonetheless. He genuinely cares for others and does his best to try and help when he can - whether it’s for Cecil, or for some civilian kids he doesn’t know.

He’s not a mindless lapdog, he’s on the side of morality. Helping Invincible behind Cecil’s back and giving out classified data from the GDA would really put him in the sauce, but at this moment, he’s not a secret agent helping a blacklisted superhero. He’s facing Mark, a 19 years old who’s had the weight of the world on his shoulders, who constantly gets grown adults coming for his arse. He’s helping a kid, he’s giving him all the info they have because he just doesn’t have any moral reason to hold on to it, when Mark is left to fight by himself. Yeah, Cecil would chew him out for that, going out of his way to help a hero that he perceives as a potential threat - but still, he’s just a kid. I think Donald sees that.

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character? It’s the devotion to the United States military that’s kinda icky. He should get that boot out of his throat for a minute and radicalise himself.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character? WHICH!!!! PICK ONE FROM THE LIST!!!!

Donald doesn’t have much of an appetite. Being a cyborg affects his perception of food, and while he can digest nutrients and process food normally, he only eats a bit - once in a while - to give his organic brain the nutrients they need.

However, he enjoys cooking. It’s methodical and peaceful - it’s a prime activity to do while dissociating, it’s relaxing, and it’s also fundamentally human. Having a private chef or sustaining on the GDA cafeteria food feels oddly alienating. Making his own food, for himself, for others, the process of turning raw ingredients into a meal to be enjoyed beyond the simple need to refuel, is grounding to him. He meal-preps a fuckton of shit and proceeds to not eat any of it because he’s nOt HuNgRy.

He’s on the autism spectrum. His glass lenses are opaque because it allows him to hide the bad visual contact and maintain a proper body language at the workplace. He’s not a very expressive person, but he has a plethora of niche special interests; transhumanism and nanotechnology, Balinese and Shinto mythologies, obscure sci-fi french comics from the 70s (Métal Hurlant…), the radium craze of the 1910s and collecting artefacts from that time, collecting tarot decks. He’s normally not a chatty person, but he’ll turn into an unskippable cutscene and yap your ear out if you mention one of these subjects. Cecil knows by experience.
