Urgent! Help 10 children buy food to survive!

Mahmoud (@mahmoudfamily1) is really worried about his family because they are struggling to get food and things are getting worse. They have 17 people and the money is not enough for them to live on. Because of the surging prices of food in Gaza, the daily cost of the family is #300 a day. $300 every single day just to stay alive! Mahmoud has been fundraising for more than 5 months and has only raised $4,139. This will only keep them alive for 13 days!

The 10 children in his family are suffering from constant diarrhea and stomachaches due to malnutrition and the contaminated food and water. There is no clean water at all! After watching the children in pain for so long, Mahmoud's brother cannot bear to see the children suffer and went to see if he can buy some vegetables for them. He looked at all the markets and found only 1 onion available. That single piece of onion costs $4 when before it costs only $0.3 for 1kg of onions. That's 7900% more expensive than usual! There has been no meat at all for a long time.

There are also 3 babies in Mahmoud's family. There are no diapers for them, and even if they are available, they are often to expensive for the family to afford. Mahmoud's sister also needs medicine as she suffers from many infections due to giving birth in an unhygienic environment in the middle of this genocidal war. But there is barely money for food, and medicine are also expensive!

Moreover, they have no shelter since the tent they had was completely destroyed in a bombing! The winter will bring freezing temperature and heavy rain, and they don't even have a tent to sleep in!

2 DAYS TO COMPLETE AHMED'S CAMPAIGN GOAL

Thanks to a very generous donor, my friend Ahmed and his family's GoFundMe campaign to escape Gaza has reached €39,525/€40,000! This means they only need €475 to be able to complete their current goal and move onto raising money for survival efforts, as well as to supplement the funds they lost dipping into their evacuation money and from tax withdrawals! When their campaign was created in April of 2024, before the closure of the Rafah crossing, a goal of €30,000 was set to secure safety for Ahmed, his wife Maram, and their children Habiba, Kareem, and baby Muhammad. We did not know how long it would take or just what it would take to get there, but we've managed to surpass it, every euro going towards sustaining 5 precious human lives amidst terror and genocide.

I ask that you please continue supporting them and help them reach their goal of €40,000 within the next 2 days so that they may achieve it by 11/01/2024. If the border opens, they MUST be ready to pay their way, and they MUST stay together -- I can't imagine the pain and horror of having to leave a loved one behind in so much danger because we were unable to raise funds in time.

Getting a Monster of the Week campaign ready for my Friday group, and so far the party consists of:

*An Egyptian demigod chosen one who wants nothing to do with this prophecy bullshit

*An old city inspector from an order of monster hunters that lost money to a crypto scam

*A homeless Filipino mermaid with a crocodile spirit companion

*Basically Greed from FMA

*A gay Muslim angel who was kicked out of Heaven for being to lenient about who he let through the pearly gates

*A nonbinary spirit medium who needs to be more careful about which spirits they let into their head

I get the feeling this is going to be a fun campaign. :)

I've been watching the Monster of the Week campaign Offbeat Melody for the past few years now and have basically been using the comment section to live react to a given session's moments as I'm watching, but this session was a rare treat because I was able to catch as it was streaming, which meant that I got to experience the players reacting to my jokes and comments in real time. XD

Owl House "Thanks to them" thoughts.

So I have randomly decided to come back with these and I plan to do it with the other parts as well. So...

AAAAAHHHH!

I love the new intro we got here, not only with new scenes but an amazing extended theme.

We also got tons of new Lumity scenes, with them choosing to go with couple costumes and both of them being there for each other. We've seen a lot of Luz supporting Amity when she was feeling stressed or upset but we got a whole lot of the reverse in this episode. Amity knew how Luz was putting way too much on herself and decided to try to surprise her.

And I adore Luz coming out to her mom as BI in the episode:

Yeah, it was silly and adorable but it was the first time I think I have ever seen the word "bi" (in this context at least) in a cartoon. As someone who is bi and often feels like I'm forgotten whenever shipping is involved, it's so great to see a clear announcement in the show.
