hmm.. a bit of a ramble but it's really weird playing g3nshin rn because of how differently i see it? spent a lot of my G3nshin Phase holed up in my room mindlessly grinding and was so fixated that i developed a really strong attachment to it and was deeply fandom pilled and deranged LMFAO... perhaps its because of that that i burnt myself out a lot and became overly (though rightfully) critical of it

playing it now as someone who's less depressed and has a Life outside soc med is.. a lot more enjoyable actually. i think g3nshin works best as a game to be played in moderation, like idle clicker games hahaha. playing it Casually has never been an option for me until now.. wow.. the wonders of getting your shit together

i dont think.. i can confidently say i love the game or that it's one of my favorites because it being a gacha game ruins a lot of its potential and valuation and i dont wanna dogpile it rn lmao but [insert other reasons why g3nshin is Bad]

but mannn. i love worldbuilding. i love huge expansive maps and story quests. love random exposition drops lmao. g3nshin offers a lot of narratives that are extractive albeit the corny executions and poor storytelling but it's a fun game to wind down to. didnt think id be saying this but ive missed this game. hehe

Got to meet Christopher Strauli and Michael Cochrane at the London Film Fair today eeeeeeeeee! Was so much fun---they were both SO lovely. I told Michael Cochrane that I fucking detested his character (Simmerson in Sharpe) and that he was an AMAZING actor for making me hate a character so thoroughly. He loved that lol. THEN he saw my CS Raffles photo and I found out he played Bunny in the radio version (which I thought was super good even tho his voice is a bit different). Got a picture with both of them. I've pretty much never met actors IRL until this and the thing last year so that was super fun.

☆ — when he’s with you, he’s all in. no-one else exists for him when he's got you ☆ — mr. clean and tidy. he’s lived with his siblings his whole life, three of them guys, someone was bound to develop the strict cleaning tendencies ☆ — is always up for an adventure, big or small. he’s got a nice chunk of change in his savings and has a whole backlog of holidays saved up from work, so... you wanna go to paris? sure, let’s go for a bit. you wanna go away to the countryside for a few days to get away from everything? bags are packed, and the car is ready. wanna go for a hike on this new trail you’ve found and want some company? let’s go baby! ☆ — you come home from a really bad shift and the whole day was a clusterfuck? he’s there with a glass of your favourite drink and offering to run you a bath or give you a massage as you rant to him about everything ☆ — very attentive with your likes, wants and needs 😏

☆ — gets far too wrapped up in his work sometimes and can forget pre-made plans; continuously pushing time constraints (“it’s fine, just five more minutes and i’ll still make it on time” - spoiler, he doesn’t) ☆ — very sarcastic, sometimes borders onto mean without realising it; can, has and will overstep with remarks or quips ☆ — mr. clean and tidy (yes this is going on both) because he was / is the one who handles the deep cleaning at home, he has a Set Way™ that things are done, and while he appreciates the help, “you’re doing it wrong, just… just leave it alone, i’ll do it” ☆ — sits on his anger. he’ll retreat from interactions and the like for a bit (few hours, a day, who knows) and then come back all smiles and acting like nothing happened ☆ — can still be very childish (up to you if that’s a pro or a con)
