Well for her form, for me Vassago has giving her education about the Goetia for sure. So she probably know how in theory but doesn't have the practice ?

Her father,  in his eyes, (even if he never said it to her and their relationship of father-daughter is complex) Hürrem is for him a Goetia and he doesn't care she doesn't have the title or the secret that she is.

But in another way because of his mistake (he think it is his mistake), he has lost his best friend for this child.

Both Parvin and Vassago where just sad and they know each other so well, skinship just happened, in a hope to feel better just for a moment, even if there is not really true love (except the love of friendship) and Vassago gay.

I think that night they must have been in depressed drunk mood.

So in conclusion I think Vassago try to give Hürrem the best without truly being involved. He also need to be careful of Paimon.

Ahah the dialogue was so funny ! It make me think of Kuzco, at the end of the movie he just take potion and transform in bunch of animals (he want the one that would change him in human) and some guards are running after him and each time he take a potion he transform in the worst animal ever for the moment

Sooo I draw Hürrem genealogy tree on her mother side !! I had so much fun !

So some little things and details !

  - I didn't have a name for the grandmother yet, so I call her Miss Bunny ! She is absolutely the bunny girl from Bambi as inspiration.   - Paimon thinks *"damn it. Too pretty."* about Miss Bunny.

Fun fact : Miss Bunny and Parvin have bunny tails !

  - Hürrem actually look like her grandmother a lot! She has the same hair texture, rabbit's weaskers and shape of face with the plump cheeks. And also her dad, with her general shape.   - Parvin looks a lot like her dad! And has a narcissistic guy, Paimon probably love her more for it and that is why he kept her close to him even if he asked her to stay in her palace all the time.

Miss Bunny, Parvin and Hürrem all have horns that get smaller.

Miss Bunny has big horns with two shades of pink. Parvin has medium horns with two shades of purple. Hürrem as small horns with shade of white and dark green.

Fun fact : Parvin's nose has the shape of a bird beak but she has a normal mouth underneath.

Parvin is truly half Demon, half Goetia. Where Hürrem is a Goetia with parts of demon (bunny fur on tail, weaskers, horns)

Fun fact : the tip of the two feathers on top of Hürrem's head is plum color like the feathers on the back of Vassago's head.

Miss Bunny, Parvin and Hürrem all have two shades of colors in their hair.

Parvin is half-rabbit and half- great horned owl or raven (whatever Paimon is)

Where Hürrem actually developped the parrot form of Vassago to be a special type of parrot : a sun conure parrot.

Also Parvin has purple eyes and stars on her cheeks because of the meaning of her name.

Parvin has bunny ears because in the early design of Hürrem, I draw her with bunny ears but I change my mind.

Yes, it was quite logical that she knew it in theory but not in practice.

I really liked his father's attitude towards Hürrem from this aspect, even though their relationship is complex, it is nice that he still sees her as a Goetia.

Yes... This is something that really happens in real life too, some fathers can unintentionally blame their children for the loss of their wives (in his case his friend), and this leaves a gap between them.

And I really love how Vassagon tries to give Hürrem the best without getting too involved.But of course he needs to be careful with Paimon.

First of all, I seriously didn't expect Parvin to be this beautiful.Seriously the design is 10/10 It totally gives off the royal vibe and seriously, whether it's the color palette or the look.

And I just realized that technically Parvin is Stolas' half-sister. Did they know each other?

I tried digitizing my drawing of Mighty Marshall

I used ibis Paint X for this, since it has a scan feature for traditional art, which makes it easier for me to digitize it. Unfortunately when it comes to coloring, I have never known how to shade (in both traditional and digital art)...so that's why it looks so flat. I'm also brand new to digital art, so it's even harder for me than traditional art, and I don't have a stylus for my tablet so I have to do all of this with my finger...which makes it even harder to do it right. I did try making it look like his paws are glowing by tracing over them with white, similar to the way my Mighty Pups t-shirts do it. I think it came out okay...not as good as I would've liked, but decent enough. And yes, I know my handwriting is terrible, please don't mention that, it's bad even when I'm writing with a pencil on paper, it's always been that way. 😅

It's been a while since I've posted anything art related, but I hope to start that up again soon, I've just had art block for a while and couldn't bring myself to draw anything without feeling like it looked terrible. Hopefully though, this doesn't last much longer so I can get back to posting art soon.

That's a lot of questions but let's go!

QUESTIONS FOR CREATORS

C) Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?

Not really. Iberis-3 was a random OC and Young Wolf so it was 'prepared' for me as the gamer. I didn't expect Iberis to slap THAT MUCH. I didn't really care whether he fits or not. My style of storytelling is much different than the canonic one from Destiny 2. More comedy with a lot of sad stuff in life. (The black comedy, I guess). I just keep going, If I disliked something, I just get rid of this but I want to be sure it fits the main story of the game.

I didn't know what I did but it worked. Just some trust in myself in this rare moment.

J) Did you have to manipulate or exclude canon factors to allow them to create their character?

Yes, a lot. Usually, the Young Wolf is a character who looks like they forget how to speak but exactly knows how to punch someone's face. Silent OP character.

In the begging Iberis was supposed to have a much different character. More moody, mean shit without reason, who doesn't care about anyone. Boring Edge Lord. Luckily he changes to the current version.

My art style is not really similar to the canon one. I prefer cartoonish/comic style with too expressive faces and body language. Exos in the game are not really expressive (except Cayde cuz he was the only one Exo with eyebrows, srl. But y'know, It was Cayde, the very very special one).

I gave more human behavior to exo - crying, able to be drunk what is said in the lore-books they can't do. Even able to blush. Full realism and being 100% accurate to the canon is not my jam but looks like ppl don't blame and mock me for this so why not use this?

Also, my fake tooths, in my version, Exos have fake teeth 'cause It works better for me than the black whatever is it. So much stylization.

QUESTIONS FOR YOUR OCs

4) How easy is it to earn their trust?

It's a hard question. Usually, Iberis doesn't give his trust easily to anyone. His trauma in blueberry years, working with the Vanguards, and being the Famous Young Wolf learn him to not be open to others. But it doesn't mean Ibi cannot give trust someone.

Iberis-3 opens up when he has to deal with too strong emotions for him or he feels really bad and/or overwhelmed. He's very emotional but also he's a master at hiding this.

Also, he's able to give some trust if someone shares the same passion as him. Especially plants but painting and drawing too.

7) What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

Definitely his early years on the farm. I don't mean the farm from EDZ but one in the Last City. Iberis-3 in his blueberry years left the tower and he refused to be a guardian but it's a story for another time. The farm was his workplace but also his 1st home. Eddy, his friend let him live here when Iberis was homeless but later Ibi become a part of this family.

In this place, Iberis finally starts to feel accepted and comfortable with himself, that he's something more than an undead warrior where only his combat skills mean something.

This farm was ruined during Red War. Eddy and his family survived this hard time, unlucky except for Eddy's dad who died at the begging attack on the city.

After/During Red War Iberis become the new Young Wolf so it was meant back to his role of guardian. He wasn't able back to Eddy's family. He still misses them but he knows it never be the same now.

13) What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?

Iberis usually like to wear black, grey, or white t-shirts with prints. He doesn't say no to colorful ones but he can be picky about this. He doesn't like main bright colors.

Did he look good? In my humble opinion yes, but everyone has their own sense of fashion so...

Tricky question.

38) What memory do they revisit the most often? 

Actually, there are two.

The 1st one is the death of Cayde. Iberis can't forgive himself because he wasn't able to save Cayde. The consequences are still with him until now (I mean especially Crow, the story for a different time too). Sometimes Iberis is wonder how it would be if Forsaken never happened. Maybe everything would be easier? We never knew the answer.

The 2nd one is related to Forsaken but that's more my story. Iberis after this broke up with Shiro. Both of them had personal problems after what happened in the Prison of Elders. Shiro has pissed off cuz Iberis goes alone to kill all barons and Uldren. Shiro was the last one of the hunter trio and lost many friends so losing the loved one was too much for him. Shiro chooses to be alone than lost another person in his life. He regrets this later.

On the other side, Iberis had to do this. We all know why so I don't think it's necessary to explain. Iberis is still back to these memories if he wanted or not.

Spoiler, not a spoiler. Ibi and Shiro are back to themself in the Season of Splicer. Both idiots had to grow up.

43) If someone asked them to explain their sexuality, how would they do so? 

One of the biggest enemies in his life. Iberis is not a person who shows his feeling around people, romantic too. You'll almost never see how Iberis and Shiro show their feelings around others.

Iberis is unable to explain why he's gay. It's natural to him if we can use 'natural' when we talk about Exo. It's just the way he is. He likes other men and... That's it.

In his personal opinion asking him why he is gay is rude and nosy. Why do you even care? Usually, when someone asks him about this he just says he's gay and the end of the theme. Thank you, goodbye.

Uh seeing this from a super rad writer who I don’t really personally read but I see A LOT of in the g/t space was like a FNAF 2 Jumpscare at full volume so I am going to run my mouth about it.

It was kind of the opposite for me (was an artist, not a writer) and I was BAD! BAD!

I had g/t ocs since I was a little teeny baby. It took me years before I ever found a community for this and thought I was a little weirdo. I couldn’t draw for shit (not saying I’m like an art god now or anything, but improving) and couldn’t write for anything, either.

I was pretty much addicted to genai for a frighteningly long period of time. Before c.ai came out I maxed like two ChatGPT conversations OUT (yes, reached the limit, TWICE!) and didn’t get any sleep I was on it every weekend. When c.ai came out (became popular on the accursed app I no longer use)? Ohh I was COOKED! I have like 5 “characters” just sitting in virtual stillness forever. Like I was bad. It never got to that scary evil parasocial point. c.ai company has so much of my personal data anddd I have to live with that.

I wasn’t so much for the images bc I’ve always had a visceral reaction to like ai patterns (like ai’s weird swirls and shapes make my skin crawl idk why it’s physically uncomfortable for me not joking.) but like I recall trying it out couple of times.

If we are being fr, the ethics of scraping (no matter how fucked up it is to mine and others standpoint) is a matter of opinion, how you define theft, and your personal ethos and morals. Some people feel like if you still literally have the file or paper or canvas it’s not theft. Others feel like even reposting with credit without express personal permission is theft. You can debate about it forever. Womp womp.

What is NOT a matter of personal opinion is the environmental impact of Generative AI.

A generated image of your character is not worth a fucking energy crisis. The knowledge my shit AI fic garbage used the thing that used 6% of ALL of West Des Moines water and is eating up enough energy to power 33,000 homes in the baby fetal state that it’s in is terrifying!

1,000 images in Stable Diffusion being the equivalent of driving a vroom vroom car 4 miles is not good. And it won’t ever be worth it.

Especially with this being because you just do not draw? You say you cannot afford to hire an artist and don’t say you physically can’t draw yourself, so it just looks like you just “don’t.”

The joy of creation is better than sliced bread, pop rocks, and water. Like so cliche but I implore you to start somewhere. You clearly want to create good authentic art of your characters. The desire to write and draw your ocs is like universal I believe. Why deny yourself? It’s “bad”? Who cares. This especially kinda confuses me because you write. Like, good. And a lot. Was your writing always to your liking? Probably not. If AI had became available then, would you rather had started just generating stories than progressing, learning techniques, vocabulary, and just becoming a better writer? I know disparity between one skill and another skill is frustrating (my traditional art being better in my eyes than my digital art is one thing) but

I really do encourage you to try!

Now in the case you do not like drawing, just don’t care for it like genuinely (not the product of drawing, but like the actual motion of using your hands if it pains you or you do not have the dexterity capability to create a line)

Picrew! Picrew is free af and is so expansive and great, especially for ocs. It’s a website so buttons can be made big by zooming in. (Sadly limited for people of color like most of my ocs, but they are STILL THERE just harder to find.) There are also a lot of “dress up” apps for free on phone that I used for a while, but they may be overly “cutesy” for a lot of people.

Do you know why I play around with AI generated images? Because sometimes I struggle to make rent. I struggle to obtain groceries on some days. Would you like screen shots of my bank account balance? Do you want me to beg for art for free to others who are struggling just as much as me?

No. It is not fair to the artist to ask them to spend their time making something for me for free and you are not being fair to me because you're not taking my situation under consideration.

I cannot afford to hire an artist for every idea that pops into my head that I want an image for. For things that matter, like my book covers, I have to carefully budget and pay someone to illustrate an image.

I celebrate artists and admire each and every work on every platform I am on. Every piece of fan art I have received or seen I make sure to complement and admire because that is true talent. Artists should be admired and compensated fairly, and I cannot do that on a whim.

You are out here trolling and belittling someone who merely wanted to share an idea and who can't afford to hire an artist to do so on a daily basis. If I had the finances, I would have a team of artists on call to sketch every idea that popped into my head.

[pt 3] AND NOW FOR THE ART A ton of the early Metheus art was made before I got a better handle at using bases as sketches and yes are pretty anatomically similar, which I mega apologize for T^T BUT WE MARCH ON

First start, where i made personal emote stickers that I could use when I needed to, this was the first one I made

There are the follow up ones, yes i borrowed the genshin stickers as a base, these really weren't intended as anything more than content for completely personal use. I include all of this, though to still show the character and the art I make for them, regardless of intent.

Most recent drawing, mostly a joke of how different he and TimeDefenders!Metheus really were, only sharing a name in common and nothing else, and how they would NOT get along. At All.

An animation test, as I am not an animator, and just wanted to do the silly OC trend that I saw a while back of it. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was called, or what the origin was, I just remember i thought it was neat, and did it for my OC [never posted it though cause i was quite scared to] [still am, just facing fears now]

Another thing I made just to be silly, not intended to see the light of day, but i'm posting here now cause I care about my characters and this helps to categorize somewhere.

This was a collage of the art I made before I got a computer, done either on iBis Paint, or pen and paper. They were rough, the style was yet to be found, and they all showed how difficult it was for me to make something without a base [the only two not made with bases were the one on paper and the oil painting like one.] They were also made to screw around, and weren't anything serious. These earlier pieces [actually almost all of them] were also created when I used to have the name Sea Salt before I changed it, and before I created a proper watermark [i'm sure it'll come back to bite me in the ass TvT]

I am only now being haunted by the understanding of how amateur everything here looks, I promise there's some improvement

some varied and various ways in how i used to draw him in a freehand, he also served as an art style practice on more than one occasion. He also has the most variation Everything wise, as he was a starting point in diversifying my art from the 2010s' style that had a death grip on my art progression and almost killed it. Managed to make older and more diverse character faces, and slowly got more used to that being my general 'normalcy' now, but Metheus was often my testing ground.

Dear God i'm worse at art than i thought i can see all the mistakes i still make whhhyyyyy We continue on, cause there's about to be another post dedicated to fun facts about him.

First Round: Prometheus Soloveitchik

The first one I start with and the one with somewhat the most about him. He's got it all, a weird progression into OC status, a stolen name from an [I presume] Extremely obscure mobile game character, and one of the first OCs I spent the most of 2024 writing and to this day reworking slowly until now, where I was happier with how he is. And there's a Lot to cover. Like, he was the only one to get his lore written down, and it ended up in 5 pages of a story. This might just end up as a chain of posts, actually. For archival purposes and whatnot. So, let's just start there. First tidbit, and first in this timeline of creation: He used to not be a character at all, but rather a plot device in a roleplay. There was a character from an older mobile game I had stolen the look and name of, mostly staying as like a cliff note of a guy [this was purely done cause it was not a public roleplay and was entirely made between friends, and i was a bit lazy at the time and didn't want to craft a brand new character just for a one off event.] His tablet was more plot relevant at the time than Him. [That character was Metheus from Time Defenders, and he inherited the name] So, he used to look exactly like that Metheus from that game, like a body snatch type situation early on in that roleplay [pictured here:]

He then, further on, got more plot relevance in said roleplay, and so I changed and created his new, more recent design to actually make him a character and Not just a guy stolen from somewhere else. [pictured: my art and first concept:]

This wasn't the *first* thing I drew for this newer look, but it was the best "reference" I had that didn't show much [Current Metheus is a character that has a genuine and honest-to-god Hatred for most shirts and refuses to wear anything other than a beat up tank top that's pure cotton, and that's reflected in most of his art.] Now as for the character himself? His whole thing has to be in it's own text post cause I may have hit t he character limit HARD [there's 5 pages to that damn backstory and it is quite hard to condense]

But moving on, The art will be in it's own separate image post soon as well. [pt 1]
