I had a dream once where I was watching a sonic/lord of the rings au where sonic and shadow were Sam and Frodo. The only part of the plot I actually remember is that tails (who was Boromir for some reason) tried to take the ring from sonic like that one scene in the movie, but ended up actually taking it (think a deranged nine in boromir cloths taking the ring instead of the shards).

then when sonic and shadow confronts tails he just hands the ring back and tells sonic that he’s a robot?? And this makes shadow mad cuz he thinks sonic has been controlling him all this time just for being a robot and starts having a fight with sonic. Only to start crying cuz he feels bad for beating up the guy he was supposed to protect.

Anyway, I dunno why that was my one sonic dream but since you sounded interested in hearing about dreams I thought you might wanna hear it.

🍓 -> how did you get into writing fanfiction?

crazy story!! the short and simple of it is my sister kind of introduced me to the art since she had been writing fanfiction as well. so i read a lot on like...wattpad and quotev when i was younger LMAO i think the first fandom i wrote fanfic for was fairy tail... 💀 and then i kept writing for many different fandoms and here i am! writing has been a big outlet and comforting distraction for me <3 but even more so now, it's honestly become less of an outlet and more of something that's just super fun for me!!

21. three songs of your childhood: a little difficult a little fun! ill say aashiyan from barfi, half bcs this album and all its songs r still my favorite years later (movie too!!) and half bcs i have way too nice memories of performing this song as a kid at an event at dad's work and getting complimented a lot (it was aided tho, im sure, by my front teeth missing). second would be ae mere zohra jabeen, a veeery old classic bollywood song, and v much beloved to me both when i was tiny and straining to catch my ma's radio during hw and now when i can add it to all my playlists. third!! raabta by shreya ghoshal, a song that annoys me a lot now simply bcs ive heard it >2000 times bcs it was such a (deserved) rage when it came out for a few yrs

3. How did your oc discover themself? Did something cause them to question, or did they always know?

Ramiel is trans and bi! He knew both these things about himself since he was very young. He comes from a place that doesn’t view gender or sexuality with much scrutiny- and all identities are wildly accepted.

At the time I created his whole thing, I felt that a trans story wasn’t really mine to tell. I generally disagree with that sentiment now- I think compassion, empathy, listening, learning, ALL THAT GOOD STUFF can clue you in to how to write a good queer narrative.

But even still- knowing he was queer since he was very young suits him.

9. Are there cultural or lore specific aspects to their identity? If applicable, does their species affect it?

YEA! At least since entering The Kingdoms, Ramiel is usually perceived as being from Vethnoac- the dragon kingdom. Citizens of Vethnoac often have multiple genders/pronouns and sexuality isn’t restricted in any capacity. It’s a freedom of expression he’s still enjoying even though many of his party members (non-dragonkin) are struggling with more restrictive policies.

I think there’s probably some kind of complicated feelings around being the transgender son of a goddess with a lot of female followers/worshippers. Maybe a vague feeling like he doesn’t really belong there. Idk that’s just kind of a mental tennis ball I’m bouncing off the wall rn. U feel me.

EHEHEHE THANK YOU i wrote a little introduction post about her here so that would be a good place to start at >:^)

so tl;dr james is aubrey's twin sister and she's a private investigator and security guard at the club bodytalk in downtown night city! she mostly works there as a bouncer because she's good at throwing punches and throwing people out, but she's also in charge of overseeing any ongoing gigs from aubrey's fixer business and sending in reinforcements if necessary (or she just goes out there to deal with the problem herself)

she used to be on the wilder side when she was younger, drinking and doing drugs much like aubrey but instead of it leading her down the path of partying and one night stands she got in trouble with the ncpd a LOT and she mostly just got into so many fights. she's not like that anymore nowadays, after getting married she settled down and after her divorce she mostly just wanted to vibe. she's not made for a 9 to 5 job and that's why her current occupations are perfect for her because she can work in the evening hours at the club and do the investigator stuff on the side :)

she ends up getting together with luna at some point a bit later in the story! they first properly meet when luna starts working at bodytalk a bit more and grow closer quickly when james gets injured after a gig and she ends up going to luna's shop because it's the closest ripperdoc she could find. need to spin them around more but things are happening in here alright

some more facts because i love her

james uses she/he pronouns, in the sense of mainly she/her but if you wanna use he/him for her she doesn't give a fuck and also actively encourages it when people ask her :) this is mirroring aubrey's he/she pronouns, he has the same kind of relationship with his pronouns. the two of them often jokingly say they swap pronouns every other week LMAO

she's a few minutes younger than aubrey but also a single cm taller and she has decided to make it her entire personality. as is her right

james has pretty bad anger issues which are entirely a result of her past, with her father being a piece of shit and her mother not taking care of her children at all. she's very protective of becca, her older sister, who took care of her younger siblings throughout their whole childhood

james nowadays lives together with rikki, her younger half-sister :D rikki basically moved in after aubrey left for elysium (spaceship) and when he returns, he goes to live together with leon which means rikki can stay with her older sister. the valentine siblings all love each other very much basically and don't mind sharing a living space at all, it's what got them through their childhoods and especially after aubrey has been trapped in space for nearly a year they all agree it's important to stick together as much as possible

seid is a very quiet and lowkey person, he doesn’t get upset very easily at all— nor does he like conflict, he’ll just go quiet on you. no argument or nothing but at the very least somewhat of a heated debate, no raising of voice involved at all. on his part at least, but best believe if you get a little too loud with him he’ll ask you to lower your tone, in that deep rhythmic voice he got.

leone is the type of girl who thinks she knows everything, she’s stubborn as fuck and she’ll tell you something like it’s a fact. will sound so sure of herself you’d think she knows what she’s talking about. of course she’s not always wrong, she’s smart like that. although there was this one time where she was just talking shit and was kissed to shut her up. she kinda liked it.

seid is a fan of anything sensually inclined.. such as slow kisses, on the lips, on his neck, without tongue, with it (preferred). he likes to take his time when it comes to sex, foreplay is his favorite part. he also reaally likes body worship, having photographic memory makes it twice as fun. enjoys making a mess too. turnoffs for him is anything that’s rushed into.

hmmmmm not sure tbh i cant rly think of anything / i think of too many things that it cant rly be catergorized into anything coherent. a lot of my style was rly influenced by artists that i grew up on but i think ive gone thru a lot over the years and some of that influence has rly faded :( i used to be into rly cartoony artists like kasey golden a long time ago and i kinda miss how like, unique and not-same-face-syndrome-y i used to draw characters. i do tend to have a lot of design flairs that im still rly attached to and youll see them around from time to time LOL

uhhh oil painting? or like, painting in general i guess, im really terrible at it but i love it sm its so cool. its the opposite for charcoal tho its pretty fun to mess around with it but i have no appreciation for works with it :/// i dont rly like it especially if its like, just realistic stuff i think its boring if its just like. a straight up portrait with nothing else creative abt it 😭

i usually just have it named w the charac im drawing in it and then with a number if theres more than one file w the charac so like scar.mdp, scar + timbertie.mdp, ace.mdp, YAMA3.mdp, str6.mdp, 2sgr3.mdp, or sometimes like, doodles.mdp doodles1.mdp doodles3.mdp doodles4.mdp doodles6.mdp usually when theres more than one character in the file. i used to put just number 1, 2, 3 etc as the file names so that theyd show alphabetically but it was rly better to have at least a name of what was in the drawing

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what

i listen to music At All Times. first thing i do when i open my laptop i immediately open youtube to play music. i dont really have like a specific playlist for when im drawing something specific but sometimes i do get like. really into and obsessed w a song and just play that on loop. ive been rly obsessed recently w zild and the amazing devil

2: What scene did you first put down? Honestly, that one was written from start to finish with minimal planning, so the first scene was the first chapter. I actually never planned for it to go further than that, but someone requested a part two, and it just kept going until I was like -- okay, I'm going to let people fuck him after all that buildup, it would be cruel to deny us that lmao.

5: What part was the hardest to write? There are two answers to this: the first hardest part was the intro to the smut, so the oral scene, just because I wasn't (and I'm still not really) used to writing smut, but the rest came naturally (wink wink). And the second hardest part was the ending because I always get so excited to post my fics and chapters that I think I kind of rush the endings, and it didn't totally close off, but I think it's a good learning experience for next time!

11: What do you like best about this fic? I think my favorite part is just Billy being Billy. Originally, it was supposed to be more of a subby Billy, but I couldn't resist him maintaining his cunty vibes because that's really something I love about him that makes him interesting to write -- plus the tension that created with the reader was just *chef's kiss* to me, idek.

A. How did you come up with the title to (insert fic)

full disclosure, every single fic is lyrics aside from the crimson stained hands and of gods and monsters. and all except for like two? I think? are Taylor songs.

B. any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

One single thread of gold tied me to you for sure. which is why all the positive responses to it have made me cry. but, there's a handful of scenes in all of my fics that come from real life too, anything to do with laying on the floor, laying in the shower, panic attacks,, happened irl for sure.

C. what member do you identify with most?

assuming this means character,, probably Theo. but, there's, like, so much to it lmao. a lot with Liam too. I could get into it but I would never shut up.

D. is there a song or playlist to associate with (insert fic)

probably my first post hell Theo fic, Cause everyone's growing, and everyone's healthy. (I'm terrified that I might never have met me)

pretty much the entirety of stick season by Noah kahan. like, fuck. that's what inspired the fic in the first place. the title Is from his song Growing Sideways. so so good.

G. do you write the story start to finish or do you write it out of order?

I don't think I have ever written a fic start to finish before,, like everything I have done has been because I thought of a middle scene or an ending scene lmao. like, the control fic was made bc there's a scene I desperately want to write but I have to get to the end for it haha
