Sylvia Rose Moy (1938 – 2017) was an American songwriter and record producer, formerly associated with the Motown Records group. The first woman at the Detroit-based music label to write and produce for Motown acts, she is probably best known for her songs written with and for Stevie Wonder. Sylvia at Wikipedia

Come to Where No Hearts Love
What would we have today? I haven't got a clue, because there's a lot of junk flying around here. Why not work through some half-baked crap, nobody will ever notice anyway. Har, har, har!
All right, good idea. Here we go. We've got Dressed to Kill (1975) and Killers (1982) (1) and even a little more for offer. Well, and why not, after all, you don't get to see something like this every day, and it's better than nothing (2).
So let's all think very briefly of the vocal bridge from C'mon and Love Me, the one with that quirky Gene duet just before the wonderfully self-pleased, sleazy chorus, which I can probably expect everyone here to know. Cut and pan to Nowhere to Run.
Close up on the verse, those after the acoustic to electric main riff, which is later to be recycled from both an Animalize (1984) and Psycho Circus (1998) track, and which might not sound entirely unfamiliar if you haven't spontaneously forgotten what it was all about at the beginning of this paragraph.
And I admit things could get easily tricky if you just look at the emotional charge of both equally structured Paul lines, which fortunately we don't do, do we?
And that would indeed be better, because if you listen to this one bridge from This Old Heart of Mine (1966) by the Isley Brothers, you can't help but notice that it fits Nowhere to Run's verse like a glove and also has more than enough overlap with C'mon and Love Me's bridge to realize that not only once more, but twice we're not exactly dealing with a coincidence.
Anyone surprised? Great, then at least we've got that out of the way.
Side Note:
(1) It is rumored that even the most hardcore of the oldest kissologists still disagree about whether this compilation is simply called Killers or in formal terms KISS Killers, and are still and probably will continue to discuss it for a very long time to come.
(2) But don't worry, there is certainly no shortage of supplies, on the contrary. Oh my..!
You can run, but you cannot hide from those links I highlightet for you:

♫ Uptight (Everything's Alright) ♫ (Redux)
Those of you who have known me for a while know that Stevie Wonder is my #1 guy!  When I need a boost or just need to get the toes tapping, I turn to Stevie.  I’ve only played this one once, a few years ago, so I think it’s time for a redux, don’t you? I knew that Stevie had been something of a child prodigy, but I didn’t realize he had his first #1 hit at the age of only 13!  Blind since birth,…

To Tear Uptight
Some, ahem, might hear a discontinued version of Kiss' own God of Thunder (1976) in the opening and main riff of Tears are Falling (1985), and others, well, the bass line from Stevie Wonder's Uptight (Everything's Alright) (1965).
Paul Stanley claims to have heard and recognized the latter from a Eurythmics song in the mid-80s, which is how he got the idea for Tears are Falling's main riff in the first place (1). But to follow the current he has set, one would not want to doubt this at all, because the Eurythmics have in all probability used Uptight's little motif just as surely as they have appropriated and further developed Lipps Inc.'s Funky Town (1979).
By the way, the Eurythmics song that Paul cites with a pure heart is Would I Lie to You (1985). The factor that good old Paul doesn't come out with, of course, is that the layered harmonies of the vocal arrangements of Would I Lie to You must obviously have been a key source of inspiration for the chorus of Tears are Falling. And nothing else but exactly that, and, of course, only the Stevie Wonder element in it appealed to him.
I wish Soul Station Paul and the above-mentioned Statement Paul would one day cross paths through some cosmic coincidence and be forced to discuss this matter calmly with each other in public, under the observation of all their fans.
I mean, you could almost assume he wanted to get caught. Like in a not quite 100% psychological sophisticated crime thriller with a cat and mouse game between perpetrator and investigator. Except that the investigator would be an old and worn-out, unshaven, 3rd class investigator smelling of booze and would kinda catch him with ease.
And that should not necessarily be a compliment to my values.
Side Note:
(1) Which doesn't rule out the possibility that Stevie Wonder might have had a small but not insignificant influence on God of Thunder (1976) nine years earlier. I'll save what else The Beatles might have to do with it for another entry. Or maybe even two.

♫ My Cherie Amour ♫ (Redux)
When I’m a bit ‘under the weather’, there is one musician who can always make me feel better, even if only for a few minutes.  Those of you who have followed my music posts for a while know that one person is none other than Stevie Wonder!!! The title is French for “My Dearest Love.”  Stevie wrote this song in 1967 when he was a student at Michigan School for the Blind, recording a rough version…
