I guess I shipped Daya/Abhijeet even before i knew what 'shipping' was. See, this phrase called 'shipping' came very late to me.

Before that I knew I was reading Kurt/Blaine fanfics, Harry/Draco fics from fanfic.net, all I knew was that yeah... if you type " *character 1* and *character 2* fanfic.net" you get this amazing stories where these characters kiss and create a romance story.

And trust me when I say this, I remember there was this episode in CID where Abhijeet seems to have lost his memories, there was a bandage wrapped around his head... something like that but yeah Daya was this extra emotional towards him and I had gone absolutely feral.

I didn't know that there can be term called 'homoerotic undertones'.. I just knew THAT THESE TWO CHARACTERS CAN KISS!! and that was that but never found any Daya/Abhijeet fics sadly.

It was a slow yet process for to understand what 'shipping', 'ships', 'fandoms' meant. You know growing up in the 2010s when you didn't have regular access to phones, we all know smart phones was a big deal even 6-7 years back from now, growing up in India, we don't get to talk about such things with others, we just find out stuffs and rant about them online.

There was even a time when I had shipped random book characters as well. You see, I am a bengali, and you might know we have a quite famous fictional detective named 'Byomkesh' with his assistant 'Ajit'. umm for a reference Sushant Singh Rajput had done a film 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshi' and long long ago Rajit Kapoor also did a series on Byomkesh on DD national.

Hell I shipped Byomkesh and Ajit so much. I sometimes think on it and I feel so funny!

Even after watching RRR on theatres i had come straight to tumblr if anyone had picked on the blatant 'homoeroticism' and i had to dejectedly return back with just sharing some gifs from the trailer.

Then I found some articles how the west see RRR and its queerness and I knew this FANDOM WILL POP!! I came to see it had already popped off by mid April and still continuing.....

I believe there are many characters from our childhood, early teen years on TV, books, comics where we unconsciously saw THE GAY and shipped it, be it friendship or bromance.... And I bet we all have such 'not so successful shipping' experiences.

I am just happy that today I am grown up enough to see the gay and identify as such and come to social media to find a niche and rant about it, draw fanart or write stories! You realise I was 17 then when i opened tumblr and set up an AO3 account.... before that i was not apparently 'fearless enough' to open an account on AO3 and read the 'only for the users' fics.

It largely changed after Shubh Mangal Zyada Saabhdhan, for me, where i have come to find this large section of Desi audience to be in the 'lgbtq+ shipping community'. I think i phrased this wrong, not just shipping.. a community of desis being the lgbtq+ besties who find common interests between them! Because before this movie, I was mainly involved with non-Indian/ foreign fandoms and pairings.

BUT YEAH GO AND WATCH RRR NOW!!! YOU ARE MISSING BIG! not just the gay but also an amazing visually spectacular, well themed musical, action packed, well acted-directed movie!

Rant coming up.

This has been on my mind lately, and I needed time to sort my thoughts out. I briefly considered not writing about this, but I feel that I need to let this load off my chest. Apologies in advance if I upset anyone, that is not my intention. Oh and also, quite a long post ahead.

Exactly a week ago, Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide. I went through a whole myriad of emotions. It still affects and haunts me till today. Which is why I think I must let it out.

I first watched Sushant in Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. My mother was into watching Hindi serials and somehow along the way, I joined her occasionally. A year or so later, I saw Sushant in Pavitra Rishta. I started watching the drama purely for Sushant. There was just something about the quiet and strong Manav that captured my attention. I then watched him on Jhalak Dikhlaja and supported him all the way as a fan.

A few years later, I saw him debuting in Kai Po Che, and I watched him in PK, as the ever dashing Sarfaraz. It was at this point, that I marvelled and remember telling my mother, “Hey mum, you remember Manav from Pavitra Rishta? He made it to Bollywood!”

It was this thing about him making it big and that his talent was not going unnoticed. With his death, it did shock many of his fans, me included. The more I looked into it, the more upset I get.

Here’s my two cents worth.

Nepotism has been rampant in the Bollywood industry lately. Kangna Ranaut raised many questions and got herself a fair number of enemies when she deemed Karan Johar as the flag-bearer of nepotism. One thing I admire about her is that she has the guts to fight for her cause. There are some actors who might not have relatives in the industry, but they have their respective godfathers to give them the push they need to rise.

I was born in the nineties, so I grew up to the likes of Karisma Kapoor, the Deol brothers, Raveena Tandon, Akshay Kumar, the Khans. It did not occur to me that some of these actors were products of nepotism. Back then nepotism was not rampant, unlike now. There are some who are supremely talented. However, it seems like now, just about anyone can be cast simply because of their connections.

It is true that producers or directors can launch whoever they want, but this raises a few questions. Are you launching a star kid because they generate profit better than the talented outsiders? Is launching a star kid better than launching a talented actor who worked their ass off to be where they are? Doesn’t launching star kids make the road much narrower for upcoming actors looking to make their mark?

There are so many gems in Bollywood that have been overlooked, and they are capable of so much more. They should be appreciated more and protected at all costs.

“Outsiders” who are under-appreciated:

Randeep Hooda, Jimmy Sheirgill, Ranvir Shorey, Sayani Gupta, Taapsee Pannu, Radhika Apte, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Siddharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Richa Chaddha, Manoj Bajpayee, Kangna Ranaut, Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ayushmann Khurana, Rajkummar Rao, Sushant Singh Rajput, Vicky Kaushal, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Siddharth Malhotra (I know, people might say KJo is his godfather, but he is not a star kid and I feel that he grew by himself), Konkona Sen, Sharman Joshi, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajpal Yadav, Kalki Koechlin, Bipasha Basu, Dino Morea, Abhay Deol (he might be related to the Deols, but he worked his way up by himself damned well).

 I am a fan of star kids who I feel are talented and worked their asses off to enjoy the stardom they have now. I like Aamir Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Karisma Kapoor a lot. I used to like Aliaa Bhatt because I felt like she had the guts to try out different projects and she proved she could act.

However, I somehow let my judgement cloud me a little and it has affected how I see these celebrities now. I came across a video of Katrina, Alia, Shahid and Varun ignoring Sushant at IIFA and it kinda sucked. I should not be judging just based on the context of that video, but still, it sucked seeing Sushant being ignored. Suffice to say, my level of disdain with these actors is going up.

When news of Sushant’s passing came out, I went onto Instagram and my newsfeed was flooded with many “tributes” to Sushant, by many actors from the film fraternity. It baffled me, because these actors posted photos with Sushant, as if trying to prove they had a genuine connection with him and that they apparently cared. Hmm. 

Some can even attempt to pull the attention to them, that depression is an issue we should address seriously. There are talks of actors getting Sushant’s projects, and endless preaching of depression, linking it back to themselves. I am sure you know who I am talking about, Repeat after me repeat after me, how about stop hogging the bloody spotlight?! My respect has only gone up for people like Kriti Sanon, Vivek Oberoi and Shraddha Kapoor, who really proved they are friends who loved him. It struck me that this industry I grew up loving, turned out to be shallow and fake.

I unfollowed some people on Instagram. I just got more annoyed when I hear directors say how star kids get roles and do not even need to audition for their roles. This is unfair.

If these talks about Bollywood sabotaging Sushant’s career and pushing him to the edge are true, they have disappointed us as fans. I see a lot of finger pointing after Sushant’s death. Fingers are pointed at the bigwigs of Bollywood, and somehow, us, the fans. That shocked the shit out of me. We as fans, appreciate our talents and actors, which is why we watch their movies in theatres and support them as much as we can, without caring if they notice us or not. I for one, go to the theatres to watch movies and wait excitedly to watch my favourite actors on screen. This shit about nepotism has to be addressed and if this is how it’s going, then so be it. Not being invited to weddings, parties, and to be rated and not invited on a stupid show on his looks and talents and being termed too boring. How could a mind like Sushant’s be boring? THAT IS UTTER COW DUNG.

Sushant’s death, like Irrfan’s, hit me like a personal loss. He grew by himself, defying all odds to be a self-made actor, oozing talent, and love for his fans. He had a brilliant mind, and he was a wonderful person in and out. He had an unsatiated curiosity on how the universe came about, and the thirst for knowledge got him excited. He made time for his fans, he did donations quietly, he sent children to space camps, he appreciated his fans and chose projects that showed his talent and he was paving a way for himself, in all aspects. He was an inspiration for many upcoming actors, who probably told their parents, “If Sushant could do it, there might be a chance for me.” It is sad that all these questions are raised after his abrupt departure. 34 is too young of an age to go, but we will never know what he went through before he made the decision to take this final step. All I have to say is, I hope you are happy wherever you are Sushant. Bollywood did not deserve a gem like you. May you shine as bright as the stars you used to marvel over. We will never forget you. Never.

Recently, an on-the-rise bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, committed suicide during lockdown. His suicide has created massive fallout in the industry and has BLOWN the lid on the “bollywood mafia” and the levels of nasty PR games, casting couches, and blacklisting they do to those they consider outsiders in the industry. It’s literally the metoo movement of Bollywood and at that scale with a new celebrity, actor, singer who came from the “outside” is speaking out about their personal experiences with the rampant systematic dismantling of talent. In a nutshell, Bollywood is ruled by a handful of acting, producing, and directing families. They in turn only cast their kids or launch the careers of their friends’ kids while excluding any outside talent. It takes A LOT of talent to get into the industry and a lot of luck. It used to be that the only way to get in (if you weren’t born into a connected family) was to literally win a beauty pageant (hello, aishwarya rai and Priyanka chopra). The advent of the internet, YouTube and IG has democratized the way hopeful talent can pitch their work (modeling, singing, acting chops) and develop a fan base that they can leverage to get hired for mainstream projects.

This has only made the bollywood mafia tighten ranks and insulate themselves from outsiders. They’ve always had casting couches in place and blacklisting of talent but over the last 10-15 years, they have adopted dirty PR tactics to discredit new talent and make them unhireable. They have resorted to placing false and malicious blind items in Indian gossip columns (or with paid-for-hire journalists) to this end. In concert with these blind items, these families’ work behind the scenes to have outside talent replaced with their own children/friends and band together to boycott working with an outsider talent. They have destroyed the careers of many outside talent. Also, many of these “mafia” families (ie. the Kapoor’s) aren’t very bright - many of them drop out and haven’t finished school - which is a serious blight in as academically competitive an arena as India is for students. So if someone is talented and then smart and not easily manipulatable to boot is considered a super threat and systematically taken down.

It’s just come to light that Sushant Singh Rajput was the target of such a systematic take down campaign. He was an exceptionally bright guy (he ranked 7th of all students in India for an all India, standardized Engineering exam) and was winning critical acclaim for his movies before being collectively blacklisted and discredited with blind items.

So since all this came to light in the last few weeks, it has also been revealed that a Priyanka Chopra was also the victim of such a campaign, which is why she sought a career in Hollywood. It should be noted to those not familiar with her star status that she won the Miss World pageant in the 90s and was a STAR in India with a ton of films under her belt. There was literally no need for her to get on American TV. I always wondered why she was hustling for TV roles in Hollywood when she has the world at her fingertips (Bollywood is Massive everywhere). I remember hearing wierd and frankly uncharacteristic gossip that she was involved with a married man (a prominent Indian film actor) with whom she had a secret love child and that she was run out bollywood. In light of all the stuff coming out about outsiders having their careers blacklisted by the Bollywood mafia and the seedy PR tactics they engage in, I seriously side-eye these blind items about Priyanka Chopra being a yachter or having an affair with the Tom Cruise of Indian Cinema. I strongly think the blind items about her are placed by Bollywood folks who grew tired of her outspokenness in Bollywood and ability to self-advocate, and would consider them largely fabricated. As a I said, Priyanka Chopra was an outsider - she won the Miss World Pageant and that platform and subsequent sponsorship from international beauty brands was the clout she needed to break into Bollywood. Money speaks at that point and producers clamoured despite likely objections. Priyanka actually got really lucky because she kind of rode the tail end of the “Latina explosion” with the likes of Sofia Vergara and such becoming television staples. Priyanka filled that exotic beauty vibe that television was looking to leverage. Another actor who’s also been blacklisted and smeared with malicious gossip/blinds is Anupam Kher, who after a successful, decades long career in Bollywood as a prestigious character and supporting actor, he’s now having to hustle for tv roles in the US.

I don’t know about her and the Jonas Brother romance (my spidey sense tells me that it is a PR romance designed to keep her publicity up in Hollywood) but I do think the yachting rumours are a massive stretch. I know a lot of the blind items about Spacey, Epstein, Weinstein, Meghan and the BRF have been proven true. However I think we should seriously side eye the ones currently related to Priyanka Chopra and the yachting. It really doesn’t add up.

My version of how Kedarnath ends (spoilers)

Mukku and her family manage to reach to a safe place. There are so many people around - drenched entirely and worried for their survival. Everything is happening really fast that Mukku doesn’t really get any time to think. Her mother pushes a stack of towels into her hands and she gets to handing them out to people who are freezing, who cannot move due to the cold water. As Mukku is handing out towels, she sees Kullu enter the house with his mother. His mother is in pain and is freezing. Mukku glares at him and then turns to her sister, signalling her to not bother with him. Brinda just grabs a towel and goes to offer it to his mother, wrapping it around her. Brinda goes to the stove to prepare some hot tea for them. Their mother is helping Brinda with the tea as well. Suddenly, they feel the house structure shake, as though its foundations are shaken and they see cracks form around them. Mukku looks up in horror to her sister and mother on the other side of crack. Before she knows is, one half of the house breaks down and sinks in the flood below them taking her mother and her sister with it. People around start running out in panic, trying to escape the debilitated house. But for Mukku and her father, time stops, Mukku and her father are distraught. She loses sense of everything and just falls to the ground looking at her mother and sister reaching out from the flowing water, water that is rapidly carrying them away with the wave. They are reaching out for help, Mukku cannot do anything but shout and scream and cry. Her father is in shock, looking at one half of his family being carried away with the water. His wife and his daughter. Both are helpless.

Mukku’s father quickly realises that the building structure is about collapse and they might suffer the same fate as his wife and daughter, he pulls Mukku up and starts dragging her outside. She is still in shock and resists slightly until survival instincts kick in. They make their way out, where they run into Kullu. Mukku loses her cool and starts hitting and attacking him whilst her father watches, trying to half-heartedly trying to stop her. Kullu finally pushes her off, gives her and her father a sharp look and walks away from them, deserting them. Her father is a little shocked, but Mukku just takes her father's arm and pulls him away in the opposite direction. Mukku and her father make their way into the Kedarnath temple, where a lot of people have taken shelter. Everyone is scared beyond their mind. Mukku’s father hugs her and rubs her head trying to comfort her. Mukku’s thoughts are broken up when she hears Mansoor's voice calling out her name. She immediately stands up and starts walking around shouting his name. They finally see each other. Both are relieved. As they are making their way to each other, a huge gush of water floods the temple and within seconds they are under water and are dragged out of the temple with the force of water. Mukku's father catches hold of her, but they are being pulled with the water, until Mansoor reaches out and grabs Mukku's hand and holds on to Nandi. The force of the water is really pulling against them. Mansoor is determined and holds on to the statue for dear life. Mansoor and Mukku look at each other, just trying to withstand this moment, praying that the water passes. Eventually Mukku starts to lose consciousness, Mansoor looks at her and sees that her eyes have closed. Helplessly Mansoor tries to wake her up by jerking her arm, her father is holding onto her arm, both of them dependent on Mansoor holding onto the statue. People around them have been dragged away with the water. It would have been the end but the water passes away after a few seconds and they go along with it and are submerged in the ground and covered in wet mud. Within a few minutes, Mansoor wakes up, feeling suffocated. He is covered in wet mud. He wipes his face instinctively, trying to breathe and sees bodies around him. He immediately locates Mukku and goes to her, picks her out of the mud, wipes her face and nose as she gasps for breath. He sees that she is well, so he does the same to her father lying next to her. Her father starts breathing and gets up, feeling indebted to Mansoor. They see other bodies, and jump to helping them. Some of them are still alive, Mansoor and Mukku help them up. Most of them are dead. 

They can feel the structure is not very steady and is trembling a lot. They are worried for their lives. With them, there is a small family of 3. Mukku is held on both sides by her father and Mansoor. They see an Army helicopter making their way to them. The party of 6 make their way up to the terrace of the house they are in. The helicopter stops above them and drops down the cable and the jacket. Mansoor grabs it and starts securing the jacket with it around a woman and her kid from the family. He secures them and signals the officer to pull them up. Next, Mansoor secures the jacket for Mukku’s father. Her father is crying and holds onto Mansoor’s shoulders, not knowing how to convey his emotions. Mansoor just nods at him, understanding him, and signals the officer to take him up. When the cable comes down again, Mansoor couldn’t have been quicker to put it around Mukku. Mukku is just crying and looking at him. She is feeling helpless, her eyes convey that she wants Mansoor up next, her eyes are almost pleading with him to hurry him. She wishes they could go up together. She just wants her father and Mansoor out of there. He quickly hugs her and kisses her forehead and checks whether the jacket is secure before giving the thumbs up to the rescue team, they quickly pull her up. They send it back down, Mukku is just calling out for him. Mansoor is securing the jacket around himself looking up, Mukku is just calling out for him, until she hears the officer say they can only allow one person as the helicopter is full. Hearing this, the child also starts calling out for his father down. Mansoor just looks up, seeing Mukku and the little boy. Mukku calling out for him and the little boy calling out for his father. The choice is made for Mansoor. Crying, he starts to take off his jacker. Mukku is being held by her father, she is crying out for Mansoor. She keeps yelling “Mansoor NO NO NO”. He cries harder hearing her scream but he could not let a little boy lose his father. He knows the pain of it. He secures the jacket around the man, and signals the officers to take him up. Mukku is crying , he looks up at her, he is crying too but he still smiles at her. Once, the man is up, the helicopter flies away, leaving Mansoor back on the roof.

 Mukku is inconsolable, they pull her back in, her father hugs her and they close the helicopter. She screams, she kicks her legs, she ultimately feels numb. After a while, the helicopter finally makes a landing. Mukku has screamed and cries so much that there’s nothing but dry tears now. They are asked to get out of the helicopter quickly, so they team can head back to save more people. They get out and are led to whether the other rescued people are sitting.When they get there, Mukku and her father see Kullu sitting there with other people. He sees them and makes their way to them. Before he can say anything, Mukku's father makes it clear to him that the marriage never happened for them and he'd rather die than let Mukku be Kullu's wife.  Her father takes Mukku away from him. Kullu just watches them walk away, not knowing how to explain his act of cowardice.    Mukku’s father tries to see if he can see his wife and daughter there. Hoping against everything that they were too rescued as they were. Mukku is just sitting wrapped in a blanket, her father consoling her but she can't hear him, she cannot hear anything around her. Her entire world has been ripped from her, her mother, her beloved sister and Mansoor. She somehow feels responsible for everything. She is broken out of her thoughts, when she feels her father jerking her arm, looking at a distance saying 'Mansoor Mansoor" , trying to get her to see. She immediately looks up and sees Mansoor and some more people alighting from another rescue helicopter walking to the area with all the other rescued people. He has tears in his eyes but a smile on his face, looking at Mukku, Mukku finds herself get up and runs towards him and hugs him tightly, as tightly as she possibly could, scared that letting go would mean him disappearing. She cries hugging him and he hugs her back. Her father just looks on at the two of them. Mansoor opens his eyes and looks at her father, and is happy seeing her father give a soft smile as well. 

After all, how can Bholenath let anything bad happen to his devotee?

--- Fast forward 3 years, Mansoor and Mukku are happily married, they are taking care of Shankar Lodge together and living with her father and Mansoor's mother and Mukku is pregnant.

I had imagined this story when I first watched Kedarnath in 2019, because I just couldn’t live with the fact that Mansoor had died and didn’t get his happy ending. I had to imagine something else to make myself feel better. The writing might not be very polished though, it’s just to make myself feel better.

(Perhaps they also found her mother and Brinda were rescued too, but I didn’t write that) 

I wrote this now because of the unfortunate demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. I don’t know why but I was really affected by his death, despite not knowing him personally. May he rest in peace.

Sushant Singh Rajput was a vibrant person. So young, and such a beautiful mind. He loved space, the stars, astronomy, philosophy, science. He was exceptionally bright! And I mean that! He was a ranking student when he was doing engineering. He had a list of 50 things he wanted to do before he died, and it breaks my heart knowing that he won’t. This is unfair. He was a brilliant actor and he loved acting and God was he great at it but he was also so much more. I hope he is happy among the stars that he so admired. One of them. Rest in Peace.

What if all ancient statues came alive in your dreams ?

This 21st century - is may be the last era of world e.i( kalyug), the year 2020 suddenly the strange things happened in whole world - the forest is burning, then the pandemic hit the world and many were dying, death rate increasing, political parties are fighting, whole bollywood is messed up through the suicide case of sushant singh rajput, increasing rape cases, people become lustful and we are baffled in these situations.

You are definitely thinking why am I talking about this all and as the above mentioned picture is also different ?

Well The term ‘kalyug’ itself says much about its era. This is not a story or fiction but it is reality which I saw in my dreams. 

Some days before I saw a dream in which the mythical statues like the great sphinx, maois, came alive and started moving around the world, these maois were so tall and dangerous as if they were going to ruin the places. 

Naturally this may hint towards the end of this era or world or as soon as the earth is going to finish. And might be these all mythical statues are linked together like the great sphinx, ancient pyramids, maois(easter island), stonehenge and many more unsolved mysteries.

And yes, this could happen soon, and I just hope that this world will end soon, I don't want to reside among sinful and lustful people. Such shameful acts have happened on our mother earth, the government did not take any action against these cruel crimes.

A new-age agnipariksha.

Over the past few months, the death of a man and the murky circumstances surrounding it have captured the imaginations of millions across the country. There has been theory after theory, each more gruesome than the last, expounded in great detail in homes, on the news, on social media, every time there is a "new development". I freely confess that I am unaware of the complete facts of the Sushant Singh Rajput case. That is not just because I have refused to obsessively follow the rather morbid circus of which our media is the ringmaster, but also because I believe that there are only one (or two, depending upon what you choose to believe) people on and not on this planet anymore who know the complete facts of the case.

I am not writing this piece to dissect what we know about the mystery surrounding this death. Neither am I going to expound my own version of what might have happened. This entire saga has brought many disturbing questions up to the forefront of my mind. Chief among those is that despite all our advancements through the centuries since Ram and Sita are purported to have existed, our basest instincts as a species tending towards cruelty and suspicion have not changed. At our cores, the collective psyche of the people has always been wolfish, bent on baying for blood, and then to hell with whether it be the red tears of the innocent or the black ink of the guilty. Trial by fire is so old fashioned though. Women (or anyone for that matter) don't have to walk on burning pyres anymore to prove their innocence; they must gingerly navigate the snakepit of social media. Looking at the viciousness with which the public has decided to be the judge, jury, and executioner, I'm not sure which one I'd personally prefer.

Watching events unfold, I feel like we have forgotten some core concepts regarding our criminal justice system. We have forgotten that in our quest for the deliverance of justice for one, it is unacceptable to perpetrate injustice towards others. Dictums like "innocent until proven guilty" only seem to hold true within the walls of the courts of this country these days. The fact that prime suspect in an investigation does not equate to an accusation, and an accusation is not the same as a conviction seems to elude the public in its bloody feeding frenzy. The prime suspect in the case has been called a witch, a "vishkanya", a gold digger, and a whole lot of other things that simply leave a bad taste in my mouth, so I will not recount them here.

An idol of the people is dead, and people are upset and, yes, it is understandable that the public wants to hold someone accountable for it. Why have we lost our humanity while doing it? There are ways to demand answers, there are ways to put pressure on the police and the CBI to get to the bottom of it but do those ways also include sinking so low as to sacrifice our morals to get to an end? Because make no mistake, this wanton vilification and witch-hunt is morally wrong. And I find it extremely surprising that in a country which has so many religions, all of which preach living a moral life, that someone has to make a point of this, instead of everyone just knowing it. Oh wait. Religiousness has nothing to do with morality these days. My bad. I'll just move on.

Indians have consumed this production like the soap opera the media has made it out to be. I'm quite shocked that nobody has yet thought of using the "Dhum-tanananana" background track everytime they discuss this on news channels. Let's face it. The press has done nothing but sensationalize this case since Day 1. They should have been a beacon of clarity within the mists obscuring this mystery, but they have done nothing but muddy the already-filthy waters even more. And instead of the public holding the press accountable to the highest standards of journalism, and the press in turn holding police agencies to the highest standards of criminal investigation, we have done nothing but been good puppies and eagerly lapped up all the spiced milk they set in the saucer in front of us.

By acting the way we have, we have not just debased ourselves, and physically taxed and mentally hurt someone else. We have demonstrated how little faith we have in our justice systems. It is beyond me why everyone thinks they are in possession of the facts when even the police have not finished their investigations. When the investigation is finished, and the courts have made their decision and a culprit (if any) has been found and punished, it is then that we should direct our anger towards said culprit. But behaving like this towards a suspect is in the simplest terms, wrong.

Before all this, I would have confidently said that I thought animal circuses were banned.

Just maybe, the animals decided to get their revenge by putting people in the ring instead.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday filed a criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty and others to probe their alleged dealings in banned drugs, an instance emerging from an investigation being conducted into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, officials said. They said sections 20, 22, 27, and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) have been pressed in the complaint filed by the federal anti-drugs agency on an official reference received from the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput These sections under the NDPS pertain to punishment for contravention in relation to cannabis plant and cannabis (20), punishment for contravention in relation to psychotropic substances (22), punishment for consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance (27) and punishment for abetment and criminal conspiracy (29). The alleged narcotics dealing links are connected to the criminal probe being conducted in the death of Rajput, 34, who was found hanging at his duplex flat in Mumbai's Bandra area on 14 June. Officials said NCB Director General (NCB) Rakesh Asthana held two rounds of meetings and after going through the evidence available and obtaining legal opinion, he directed his officials to file a case. They said a special team under the supervision of NCB Deputy Director (operations) KPS Malhotra has been constituted and officials of the agency from its unit in Delhi and Mumbai will carry out the investigation. The agency is soon expected to summon Rhea, flatmate, and creative manager of Rajput, Siddharth Pithani, his house and business managers, accountant, his domestic helps, and some more people for questioning. The NCB is now the third federal investigative agency probing this case apart from the ED and the CBI. The ED, which is probing a money-laundering angle into the death of Rajput, has questioned Rhea twice earlier and has obtained "deleted WhatsApp messages" after a forensic examination of her phone. The deleted messages, they said, allegedly indicate dealings in banned drugs and chats about the procurement and consumption of these drugs that include cannabis. Rhea has been questioned by the ED about these suspect drug deal messages deleted from her phone and her statement on these allegations has been recorded by it under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), officials said. It is understood that the "deleted WhatsApp messages" pertain to Rhea purportedly talking to her friends and some of Rajput's domestic helpers about certain banned narcotics. The NCB, they said, will probe the possible "source, trade, consumption and handling" of these banned drugs and their possible links to Rajput as well as his death, they said. Rhea's lawyer Satish Manehsinde had vehemently denied the drug link allegations made against the 28-year-old actor on Tuesday. "Rhea has never consumed drugs in her life ever. She is ready for a blood test," Maneshinde had said. THE BEST PERSONALITY I EVER MET- YOU

1. Earn people

In the average life of a human, we meet almost 80,000 people. Out of these one is capable of recollecting the faces of 1000 people. The figure reduces to 15% when it comes to remembering the conversations or some memories to barely 150 people. And a sudden decline in number for people, who are true to us in all respects except for the family to simply 1 or 2.

2. Who do you find best

So, we see that we are surrounded by so many people in life, some who know us, others whom we know. Regardless of the fact that there are only a few people we genuinely earn in our lifetime. By staying profound, real to and for each other.

Yet ever found, who among these is the best personality you infer to. A personality that is complete in their own, fully comprehensive, whole, excellent, and true in all aspects.

If you do not have the answer, then clearly there's something you are missing on. Did you include yourself in!!

Do you think he could have achieved heights if he had not listened to his heart. Quitting engineering just before 6 months of its completion was not an easy judgment to be made. Choosing to do what he cherished and relished made Sushant reach the pinnacle of success.

What he actually did was, trusted his heart, and his soul that reside in Acting. Despite all the challenges, he made through it.

There's nothing on the internet that hasn't been said about him already, but still I want to pen down why I admire him so much and will remain my inspiration forever.

First of all,I'm guilty for not being much aware about this person,his aspirations, dreams, passions and learnings before 14 June 2020.😔

He was one with a brilliant mind and still followed his heart and dropped out engineering for his passion to act. But what matters is that he never led his fascination for science, space and universe die becoz of his profession to act. We have generally seen actors being multi talented in the various fields of art, but he was the very rare one, who kept science and arts go hand in hand, breaking all the stereotypes.

The more I'm visiting his posts, knowing him deeply, the more I'm falling in love with him. His enthusiasm for his dreams, an ordinary person who not only dreamt but also lived most of them, that's what made him extraordinary and a most bright star shining magically.

He had a life beyond films. Living life on his own rules.He was limitless and will always be that's why world didn't deserved him, maybe universe does, which is as boundless as him. He was a perfect example of sheer excellence and intelligence with the most humbleness one could ever had. His dreams were far beyond money or to excel in his profession, but to be a forever learner, to spread knowledge, to change the world, which inspired many.

Concluding: what I personally learn from him-TO BE A FOREVER LEARNER, NO MATTER WHAT UR PROFESSION IS, BE LIMITLESS. TO HAVE EXTRAORDINARY TALENT WITH MOST ORDINARY ATTITUDE.
