How are Heart Diseases Diagnosed and Treated?
Any ailment that affects the heart including arrhythmia and coronary artery disease is known as a heart disease. In other words, any ailment that affects the heart is considered a heart disease.
A person is asked by the physician to undergo a variety of tests and examinations to detect heart disease before using any type of cardio vascular medical device for treatment. But that's not all. To find out its symptoms or how it is diagnosed and treated, read until the end.
Diagnosing a Heart Disease - How Is It Done?
As mentioned earlier, there are several tests and examinations that a patient is asked to undergo. These tests are done to check the cholesterol levels in the blood to know the presence of types of fats. To be precise, these tests include examining total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and triglycerides.
Some other tests include the following:
Lipoprotein (a)
C - reactive protein
Homocysteine
Complete blood count
Fasting glucose
CT scan
Heart MRI
Cardiac catheterization and coronary angiography and many more.
If the tests show that the patient has a heart problem, then the doctor may proceed with using cardio vascular medical device for treatment.

Open heart surgery is usually performed to treat heart conditions like heart failure, heart valve disease, aneurysm, coronary artery disease and many more. When any patient is diagnosed with such diseases, the doctor uses the best practices to carry out the surgery and save their life.
How Do Doctors Treat a Heart Disease?
There are different ways in which doctors treat the heart disease of a patient. It totally depends on the problem that one is undergoing through. However, in major cases, the doctor may have to use medical instruments such as surgical grafts and MICS instruments to save the patient's life.
For instance, a doctor may use vascular surgery products and cardiovascular instruments like pacemakers to monitor and help control irregular heartbeats in patients with heart failure problems. While other cardiopulmonary bypass vascular catheters may be used in cardiopulmonary surgery so that the vessels can be cannulated.

Now, I will expound upon the scary things. These are things that happened after top surgery that spooked me.
All of these things ended up being harmless, I just wasn’t told they would happen and couldn’t find any info about them so they scared me shitless. My intention here is to save others from similar needless panic. This is not medical advice, just a description of my experience. Well some of it is advice, but keep in mind that Im fucking stupid and I don’t know shit. Also, Never for one second have I regretted this surgery. The only thing I miss about my tits is being able to grope them whenever I wanted.
Okay so first of all there was the bruises. Blood from the surgery had pooled in my love handles and all over my thighs under my skin and made these HUGE bruises, right, and they didn’t hurt but they were large and had funky colors and I thought “What if the blood rots under my skin”. I googled it, I asked all my friends, I tried to reach my doctors but it was the weekend so they didn’t answer so I went to urgent care and the doctor there was like “I dont know…. That’s scary….” So I was freaking out and decided I would simply wait for death to claim me. It was fine. When I finally got ahold of the doctor she said she’s never seen it before but to just watch it and tell her if it gets bigger. My body slurped that shit back up in a couple weeks, totally harmlessly. Why haven’t surgeons ever seen shit like that before? Probably because nobody’s ever freaked out about it enough to mention it to them. Either way, it was fine.
Secondly, when I had those drains in me, that was spooky because I thought “What if they get yanked out and tear up my shit” and I couldn’t take off the bandage too see or nothing but when I did eventually take them off, I saw that there are stitches around the pipes but not like holding them in you, just there to make sure the holes they put in you stay the same size they are. So if they get pulled out you don’t get seriously damaged, you just call them up and say yo can you put this shit back in me pls. There will also be little meat chunks coming through your tubes with your soup and the soup will be mildly funky smelling. That’s normal. I was told to tell them if there was like CRAZY amounts of meat or if the soup smelled absolutely nasty. Also the bolster things they put on your nips are attached directly to your nips and nothing else, so if you feel shit sliding around under your bandage, that’s the bandage sliding, not the bolsters. They didn’t tell me that so I thought I was gonna wake up with one on my back or something and not be able to put it back where it was. And they make it so it’ll be nice and slippery in there the whole time so don’t worry about the bolsters getting ripped off, there’s not enough friction in there to do that.
There was also the hydrocodone they gave me. For me, the incisions didn’t hardly hurt at all even immediately after surgery but they prescribed me hydrocodone so I took it, and I assumed I wasn’t hurting because of the drugs and that if I stopped taking them I would hurt a LOT. So here I am taking opioids and I’m so fucking dizzy and I’m violently throwing up for two days. I texted my doctor and begged to stop taking it because I thought I would get in trouble or something if I stopped without asking and she’s like “Yeah, you didn’t have to take it if you didn’t want to, its just there if you need something stronger” ohhhhhhhh well fuck me I guess. So I stopped taking it and it turns out I didn’t need pain meds at all because it barely hurts, it just feels like a really long paper cut.
Some other things, I popped a stitch in my armpit because when you first come home and your shits still all numbed up, you can’t feel it when you overstretch your arm so if you forget you’re not supposed to do that, you can pop a stitch. It got infected, I put some antibiotic on it, it took a long time to heal and it made the scar a little uglier but it didn’t cause anything crazy. I will say that my incisions go up into my armpits really far and it was real hard to keep them clean on account of all the sweat. My nipple grafts also had many tiny, shallow stitches and I thought “What if they fall out because they’re so shallow”. That’s normal. My dad said that’s how you do stitches for sensitive areas so they look pretty, and they do look pretty, and also they are supposed to fall out after a couple weeks, that is also normal. Just make sure they don’t fall out too soon I guess. Pretend you’re made of glass for the first 4 weeks, honestly.
Also, your nip has the little oil glands in it, right, and when you’re nip scabs over as it is supposed to, it will scab inside these oil pores and you’ll lose the whole rest of the scab and have these little leftover scraps, and you Must. Not. Pick them. Those pores in my nips are little craters now because I picked the scabs out of them. Every scab you pull off, even the ones that are thin and tiny and already hanging halfway off, is going to make your nip even uglier. You wont die but you will say “Ugh why did it do that”.
Also, my nip hole collects nasty shit in it that I have to clean out all the time and since I can’t feel anything in there I have the be VERY careful. Skin is actually very easy to puncture. And there’s like little caverns in there that also get stuff in them a lot so I still put antibiotic on my nips after I shower just in case? Not really sure if its infection or like dead skin… its been getting better over time at least. Sorry if that’s TMI but listen, somebody’s gotta talk about it.
Sometimes my scars, the main incisions, will get these little blackheads right in the middle of them or little pockets of infection, and I always pick at them and the scar tissue isn’t very strong so when you pick at things on your scar, you will break open all the blood vessels around it and have a big red spot and the scar tissue is such that you will not get the blackhead out anyway so just dont do that. Put some antibiotic on it. Honestly just put antibiotic on anything that looks sus. Antibiotic can solve anything.
Okay idk what else to say so end post goodbye.

really i think step one of really digging your teeth and nails into a work of fiction is to surgically excise the buzzwords "media" and "consuming media" and possibly even "entertainment" from your brain and instead try grafting in the terms "fiction" and "engaging with art". step two is to have fun and be yourself!

Things to Keep in Mind While Choosing the Right Cardiac Surgeon
Tumblr media
There is nothing more worrisome than discovering you have a heart issue. It's no secret that acting promptly is crucial, especially with cardiac problems that can quickly become serious. Fortunately, today, advanced technology and expert cardiologists make high-quality cardiac care easily accessible when it's most needed.
However, according to cardiac specialists at United Hospital, recognized as the Best Cardiology Hospital in Bangalore, say that finding the right cardiac surgeon for you is quite a challenge
Here are some important factors you can keep in mind.
Choosing the Best Cardiac Surgeon
According to Bangalore’s Best Cardiologist operating at United Hospital, the skill sets Of your operating surgeon play a huge role especially when complicated cardiac surgeries are to be performed. Therefore, it's crucial to choose your cardiac surgeon wisely.
ReferralsSeeking recommendations from your friends, family and other healthcare professionals can be very useful while searching for a professional cardiac surgeon. Though you have a reference, assess your surgeon by communicating with him freely.
Review his credentialsAs the patient in question, you have every right to study your cardiac surgeon’s credentials with respect to his qualifications and certifications. It is a good choice to connect with hospitals whom your surgeon is associated with and study his records.
Consider the Surgeon’s experienceSuccess percentages of the surgeon are of paramount importance when deciding on engaging a cardiac surgeon. The more experience with a particular condition or procedure a cardiac surgeon has, the better your results are likely to be. If possible, get in touch with patients whom the surgeon in question has treated to understand his approach.
Research Hospital QualityChoose a hospital which has all the advanced surgical facilities and more importantly, rehabilitation facilities as the duration of your hospital stay after surgery depends upon how quickly you respond to treatment post-surgery. Hence, choose a hospital which has a good track record for cardiac care as well as convenient to travel for frequent checkups.
CommunicationCommunication Skills and Confidence levels of your surgeon are equally important. It is good to engage a surgeon who can communicate freely and instil confidence in you especially if the surgery is tricky and communicated. At the same time, he should be able to understand if you have any budget constraints and suggest the best possible approach which does not deprive you of quality treatment.
Cardiac surgeries can be stressful for patients and their loved ones. Therefore, choosing a hospital and surgeon who makes you feel comfortable from the beginning is essential. If you're seeking a Good Heart Hospital in Bangalore with an experienced cardiac team, consider reaching out to United Hospital.

Fat Grafting Treatments
(Enhancing Aesthetics and Promoting Tissue Regeneration)
Fat grafting, also known as fat transfer or autologous fat transplantation, facial fat injection in texas, is a medical procedure that involves harvesting fat from one area of the body and injecting it into another area to enhance aesthetics or promote tissue regeneration. This innovative technique has gained popularity in recent years due to its natural and long-lasting results. In this specialty medspa, we will explore the various applications, benefits, and considerations associated with fat grafting treatments.
Procedure Overview:
Fat grafting treatments in frisco, typically involve the following steps:
a. Donor Site Harvesting: Fat is extracted from areas with excess fat deposits, such as the abdomen, thighs, or buttocks, using liposuction techniques.
b. Fat Processing: The harvested fat is carefully processed to remove impurities, excess fluids, and damaged cells, ensuring a purified and concentrated fat graft.
c. Recipient Site Injection: The processed fat is then injected into the desired area, such as the face, breasts, hands, or buttocks, using specialized techniques to achieve the desired outcomes.
Aesthetic Applications:
Fat grafting has gained significant popularity in aesthetic medicine due to its ability to enhance various facial and body features, including:
a. Facial Rejuvenation: Fat grafting treatments in texas can restore volume to the face, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, lines, and hollow areas, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
b. Breast Augmentation: Fat grafting offers a natural alternative to breast implants, allowing patients to achieve moderate increases in breast size while simultaneously contouring other body areas.
c. Buttock Augmentation (Brazilian Butt Lift): Fat grafting is commonly used to reshape and enhance the buttocks, creating a more rounded and lifted appearance.
d. Hand Rejuvenation: Thin, aging hands can be rejuvenated with fat grafting, restoring volume and minimizing the visibility of tendons and veins.
Regenerative Applications:
Apart from aesthetic uses, fat grafting has shown promising results in promoting tissue regeneration and healing in various medical conditions, including:
a. Breast Reconstruction: Fat grafting is used in combination with other techniques to reconstruct the breast after mastectomy, helping to restore a natural shape and feel.
b. Facial Reconstruction: Fat grafting can assist in reconstructing facial defects caused by trauma, surgery, or congenital conditions, improving both function and aesthetics.
c. Wound Healing: Fat grafts have been utilized to improve the healing process in chronic wounds, ulcers, and radiation-induced tissue damage.
d. Scar Revision: Fat grafting can be used to soften and improve the appearance of scars, making them less noticeable.
Considerations and Limitations:
While surgical fat transfer in castle hill offer numerous benefits, it's important to consider the following:
a. Harvesting and Injection Techniques: The success of fat grafting heavily relies on the skills and experience of the practitioner, as well as the use of proper techniques for harvesting, processing, and injection.
b. Variable Absorption Rates: Some of the transferred fat may not survive in the recipient site, leading to a variable absorption rate. Multiple treatment sessions may be required to achieve the desired outcome.
c. Post-Treatment Recovery: Patients should be aware of the recovery process, which may involve temporary swelling, bruising, and discomfort. Following post-treatment instructions, fat transfer surgery in the colony  provided by the physician is crucial.
d. Individual Variation: Results can vary depending on factors such as individual anatomy, skin quality, and overall health. A thorough consultation with a qualified professional is essential to determine suitability and expected outcomes.

Give me psychopathic killer Tim Drake in which Gotham and several other super hero infested cities all gain a new serial killer they have dubbed as "Smiler".
Why? Simple, when the killer leaves the crime scene, the body is totally and entirely mutilated, skin grafts made and missing, organs and bones missing here and there and it's no specifically chosen ones either, the rest of the organs and bones are strung up in the place of murder. But the reason for the name Smiler is because the head is decapitated and left in perfect condition other than a smile cut along the face in a Joker-Jeff-The-Killer-esque way that leaves even the unscared scared.
Why would Tim do this? For fun. He's very morally gray, kids are where he cuts the line, but everyone else for no reason at all? It's fun to him. So maybe he was hit a few times in the head too many with electrocution(This can be from regular crime fighting or Joker Jr or League of Assassins you decide), he finds it fun to do all of this methodically and leave people in shambles trying to figure it out.
But how is he able to do this? He, without anyone's knowledge and for fun, got a Ph.D and Doctorates in med school to be a licensed surgeon and what not. He still regularly performs surgery, he works as a surgeon 4 days of the week and no one knows because they think he's working at WE but really it's basically all Tam, he's just there to be the face and to provide good info. He's already reformed the board so he can do whatever.
Would the hero community ever find out? Up to you. Here's how I would picture them finding out;
Some girl gets cornered the bats, then starts rambling for whatever reason about them when they're trying to help her.
"If I want understanding I'd go to Batman.
If I want empathy I'd go to Nightwing.
If I wanted a presence I'd go to Robin.
If I wanted emotional stability I'd go to Red Hood.
If I wanted support I'd go to Spoiler.
If I wanted the truth I'd go to Black Bat.
But if I wanted someone murdered, I'd go to Red Robin."
And the pieces don't make sense, because who is this woman and how does she know or why does she think Red Robin, Batman's literal in-every sense-but-blood mini-me, is a murderer? He follows Batman's moral code like a god.
But then they start looking further into his life. As CEO, they find he's not working there often, only 3 days a week, specifically for meetings. They dig deeper and find that somewhere between now and his quest for Bruce he lost his spleen and got a Ph.D and Doctorates. When confronted he said it'd be good especially for on the field when there's no one to step in and help. Experience and trust in the field is a good thing, like Harley Quinn.
Knowing that, Bruce being paranoid starts learning a bit more about surgery, and then something brings up the Smiler killings. Bruce looks at the things about the Smiler's way of killing and compares it to a surgeon. The way of opening the body, removing skin, removing the organs, no inexperienced person without a surgical background would be able to do this. They would have destroyed the organs. Or at least damaged them in someway.
Bruce starts watching Tim closely, because the time he got the license in surgery is around the time the Smiler started killing.
It was inly confirmed when one slip up gave him away. A threat.
"I will surgically remove your organs and make it seem like an organ donation."
He said that to a Justice League member after getting into a dispute with them.
That started the questions. The first one was a trick question, it was supposed to only scare Tim into confessing. But Tim wasn't scared, he knew they didn't know and he knew this was a scare tactic, he knows interrogation. Yet he still confessed. He was happy to. Smiling like a psycho and everything.
"It started as a joke. Joke? Well, practice. A small time thug, a human sex trafficker. Red Hood was gonna kill him anyways, so I thought, "why not do it myself?", you know? I had the license, the experience, I needed more of the latter though. So I just started opening him up. Removing things little by little. It was fun. The decapitation and the smile was my little thing though. The missing organs, donated to science and to people who need them. So can you really say I'm doing something completely wrong?"
The detail Tim went into caused a few to lose their stomachs.
Tim, the psycho, was enjoying this.
(This could definitely play a part in Tim becomes Damian's Joker to his Batman. I saw a post about it somewhere.)

I think the most horrible part of batch 89 is how impractical they are. What possible purpose could you wish to achieve from surgically grafting wheels to a walrus or implanting a steel muzzle into a rabbits face? It's just pure sadism. Cruelty for the sake of cruelty. And it's horrifying.

Writing Notes: Scars
Scars - marks created during the healing of damage to the skin or tissues.
After skin or tissue is wounded, the body releases collagen to mend the damage.
Collagen, a protein, reattaches the damaged skin.
As the wound heals, a temporary crust forms and covers it. The crust is a scab that protects the damaged area.
Scarring is the natural process of repairing an open wound, injury, surgical incision, or other conditions like acne.
Initially, a scar is red - blood vessels are created while the body forms scar tissue.
The damaged area is covered by a protective scab that eventually falls off.
The scar may become brown or pink.
It generally fades over time and becomes less visible.
The healing process takes from one year to 18 months. Some scars heal naturally. Other scars require additional treatment.
Hypertophic Scars and Keloids
Caused by an over-active healing process.
This produces an excessive amount of collagen at the wound site.
Both types of scars are red, thick, and raised above the wound.
Hypertophic scars do not extend beyond the wound site. The scar may itch and usually heals without professional treatment in about a year.
Keloids are large scars that could form after surgery, an injury, burn, or body piercing. This scarring often occurs on the ear lobe or chest.
Sometimes keloids develop spontaneously.
The keloid is raised, rigid, and grows beyond the wound. It can continue to grow.
Scars are generally harmless, but may itch or feel tender.
In addition, a person may feel self-conscious about the scar’s appearance.
Contracture Scars
Caused by the loss of a large section of skin due to burns or other injury.
The scar contracts or tightens around the wound.
This contraction could impact a person’s mobility.
If the scar deepens, it could affect muscles and nerves.
Acne Scars
May appear after the severe stage of acne, a skin condition usually caused by hormonal changes.
The inflammatory condition is seen in adolescence, but acne can occur later in life.
Severe acne is triggered by clogged pores that cause bacteria to multiply.
It occurs more frequently in adolescent boys than girls.
If the acne is not treated, there could be scarring.
The types of scars include pit-like pockmarks.
TREATMENT
A scar is permanent and cannot be completely removed.
However, treatment can alter a scar’s appearance.
Procedures range from the application of over-the-counter ointment to surgery.
Scar treatment should start after an injury because wound care affects scarring.
The wound should be cleaned and covered.
Picking at the scab breaks the collagen and allows germs to enter the wound.
Time also helps with healing.
Scars become smaller, and the color fades.
However, additional treatment is required for some scars.
While some procedures are more effective for keloids and hypertrophic scars, the procedure for acne scars is based on the type of scarring.
Treatment for burn scars may include skin grafts surgery.
Surgery - "scar revision"; the procedure modifies the scar’s appearance.
Steroid Injections - a singular form of treatment for scars, particularly keloid and hypertophic scars. Corticosteroids are an anti-inflammatory drug that helps to lessen the scar’s red color and thickness. The treatment flattens the scar and helps with itching.
Cyrosurgery - involves the freezing of freezes tissue with a probe containing nitrous oxide. It is used to modify scars, especially keloid and hypertrophic scars.
Dermabrasion - the removal of a layer of the skin’s surface. Scars including those caused by acne are smoothed or sanded by an instrument.
Silicone gel sheets - an be purchased over-the-counter. The sheets are worn over the scar area to seal moisture. The treatment helps with itching and to reduce scar thickness and color.
Alternate methods - of treating scars range from applying Vitamin E to massaging the skin. People should consult with a doctor or other healthcare professional before starting treatment involving contact with the scarred area. These procedures include applying obtained Vitamin E, aloe vera, or cocoa butter to the scar. Vitamin E is sold as an oil or obtained by opening a vitamin capsule. Aloe is an African plant and is sold in capsule form and as a skin care product. Cocoa butter is a fat made from cacao seeds. Those items are thought to help with healing so that a scar is less visible. However, time also helps to lessen the scar’s appearance. Those substances should be applied only after a scar is well-healed. Massaging mild scars is done to relax rigid scar tissue. The scar is massaged for about two minutes. Afterwards, Vitamin E oil is applied to the skin. The process should be discontinued if the area becomes sore or red.
